Barcelo Oviedo Cervantes - أوفييدو

Certainly one of the top hotels in Oviedo. I thought it would be more centrally located to monuments, etc but it was about 8 blocks to the cathedral area. Very staid, catering mainly to well to do older Spaniards. I spent three nights over a weekend. Very boring clientele. Bar and restaurant always empty and closed Sunday and Monday. The room is beautiful and thanks for the upgrade. Good internet. Sunday was absolutely boring. Great breakfast but a single business traveler like me prefers more of a cafeteria or restaurant at night and the staff was too focused on everything else but me. The neighborhood is very upscale full of boutiques but the restaurants and bars are clear across town. Even grocery stores close on Sundays in Oviedo. There is a Corte Ingles three blocks away. Train/bus station is only five blocks away but if you have luggage the taxi is 4 euros. I think the ideal hotel in Oviedo would be closer to the Cathedral area where all the bars are located. I thought this hotel was a good value for a 4/5 star property when you consider the breakfast and internet was included. This could easily be another 30-40 dollars at other properties. The area near the cathedral has lots and lots of cafes with internet and are a good value.

This is not a five star hotel. Got there and room was boiling hot. After 2 hours with ac at max called desk and they sent tech about an hour later who said ac was working great. Told him it was not and insisted he do something and get me another room. He worked on it and more air started coming out of the vent. About an hour later room was finally cool. Also was not given wi fi password upon registering and clerk insisted he had... He did bring it over to the room (long number). After the first day everything went well and had to keep the ac fan low. Location is close to monuments but a little bit of walking required and Oviedo is not flat. This should be categorized as a 4 star hotel but it might be the best in town after La Reconquista Hotel which costs a lot more because it is a historical landmark.

Hotel very convenient to old town. Free wi fi but weak signal in room. Parking on site €17. Hotel very comfortable and rooms are a good size.

Key with new technology opened the door from a distance but we weren't told. Elegant, comfortable room. Free wi-fi. Very close to old town and huge choice of restaurants. Parking next to hotel with easy access but pricey. Lovely shower room. Didn't do breakfast.

This hotel was a disappointment. The room decor was dated; three of the light fixtures did not work; there was old cigarette ash on the floor of the bathroom in our non-smoking room; the shower was dirty and moldy; housekeeping decided to vacuum outside the room at 10 pm; there was no one at the bar to serve us; and at breakfast, though there was a hot-food station, there was no one there, just a dirty pan on the burner.

Well located centrally from all parts of Oviedo. Nice neighbourhood. Modern rooms, no bath but good shower room. Staff helpful, restaurant food quality good but hotel and restaurant lack atmosphere. Would be happy to stay there again.

Ha sido un lugar muy agadable, nos encantó la rehailitación del edificio y la armonía encotrada entre lo cómodo y lo estético.

El personal fue en todo momento muy agradable, dispuestos y amables. El Hotel tiene una ubicación cómoda ya que está muy cerca del Centro, la decoración es muy bonita y la habitación que elegimos era amplia y agradable.

Hotel muy recomendable por situación, comodidad , limpieza y atención del personal. Además tiene parking propio, lo que en Oviedo estando en el centro es muy conveniente.

Todo impresionante. Es un verdadero 5 estrellas. La habitación insuperable, amplia ,con excelente diseño. Baño con 2 lavatorios. Relación precio /calidad insuperable. Muy buena ubicación . Ordenador gratis en el lobby. El desayuno no está incluído pero es el mejor que vi.

Situé dans un quartier calme et agréable, à un kilomètre environ à pied, de la vieille ville d'Oviedo, l'hôtel offre, dans sa catégorie, tous les services que l'on peut en attendre. Le parking souterrain, fort pratique, est toutefois un peu onéreux ! Le buffet proposé à l'occasion du petit déjeuner est agréablement présenté, varié et copieux. La chambre que nous occupions était spacieuse, très propre; elle donnait, seule petite réserve, sur un ensemble de bâtiments gris et plutôt quelconques. Enfin, le personnel s'est montré, tout le long du séjour, à l'écoute et discrêt,

Il personale è perfettamente all'altezza delle 5 stelle dell'albergo e la stessa struttura è molto bella e confortevole a 10 minuti dal centro. Ho anche cenato al ristorante del hotel, veramente ottima sia la cena che la presentazione dei piatti.
