had a great second stay at the BAyview. Rooms are good size and good value at this time of year.Everyone was very helpful.Location near #501 and close to attractions.Boarwalk is very convenient and great for many walks.Very well maintaned.Will come back.

We had a great stay! Awesome view and the room was very nice.

Great service, needed a new coffee maker at 3:30 am ,Housekeeping came with a replacement within 30 minutes. Housekeeping also did a great job cleaning room and bathroom I would give it 5 stars for cleanliness. The only thing missing was outdoor pools. We would stay there again . Great price for stay.

This was my second time staying at this hotel and I was just as pleased as the first time around. I will definitely be bringing my family back again soon!

Very nice hotel, staff were very friendly, hotel was very clean, great view of the beach, everything worked as it should, would stay again

The Bay View Resort is reasonably priced for being on the beach. I stayed in an ocean view suite and my family was surprised by how large it was. The room was reasonably clean, however the beds weren't very comfortable. The parking area across the street is a little unconvenient as it makes checkout a hassle during the checkout rush. As other reviewers have said the elevators are slow an unpredictable and stairwells have fire alarms on them so give yourself plenty of time. Other than those issues it's a great value for the familiy.

The hotel itsself was great. Although, there were a few things that I would have to consider to stay there again. First, the parking garage is 2 blocks away(I think thats a little ridiculous), the elevators were the worst and I mean that! It took us 35 minutes to get our baggage cart from our floor the lobby. Also, I know I paid for a king bed suite and I was given 2 double beds and my fiance and myself had to try to sleep on one. On the upside, we were given 2 balconys, A very nice kitchen and lots of space in our suite!

Great hotel, wonderful location. Opt for a larger room if traveling with children. Will stay again!

I stayed at this hotel over spring break and it was better than I expected. The hotel is in a good location and the new boardwalk is right there. The room was nice and clean but the only thing was the bugs on the balcony which covered the chairs and everything out there, also the elevators were very slow I would've took the stairs the whole time but I was all the way on the 17th floor.

Ocean front room had such a lovely view. Beds were relatively short but comfortable room. Wish if there was at least a small desk. Elevators were slow and we had to wait long time to check out. Parking building was not far and good.

Great hotel for four friends staying in Myrtle beach on Spring break. Only drawbacks were the slow elevators and inconsistent housekeeping services-but room was amazing, steps from the beach, and all you could as for the price (full kitchen, utensils, and washer dryer included!)

Hi I stayed at the Bayview lat week. I checked out on Thurday and relized I left my phone charger in my room. I called the resort on Friday and received a return call on Saturday from Tomasina head of housekeeping. I called back on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday with no response. This is not how you treat your guests. You have a very nice resort in a poor section of town. If you want them to return you need to treat them beter then this. Frank

The room was adequate. We had an ocean front room. It was small but clean. The parking is two blocks away. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Everything was great with the hotel except the elevators....they took forever!

Great Hotel. Very clean, and very friendly staff. No problems except one time my card didn't work at the parking deck. A security officer got me in and i went to the front desk and they quickly fixed the problem. One thing that i recommend, bring your own pillow! Their pillows are not very good....Other than that, I had a wonderful stay and would stay there again.

Clean room that was large and had 2 balconies with views of the ocean. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to friends.

Felt the service and employees were excellent and the security was effective. Well done;

Me and a few friends went to Myrtle Beach for spring break earlier this March ('12). We had a great experience there and everything was great. The pool area was nice, and the location was pretty convenient. It's not far at all from the strip. Best thing, however, is the fact that for the price you pay, this place exceeds your expectations big time.

This was a great stay and I'll most be staying again on my next visit to Myrtle Beach, SC. My family and I Stayed in a suit section which was great, full kitchen and everything else you needed. And the staff were excellent. They will accommodate anything you need. Even if you need to change rooms at the last minuet. The Bayview Resort rock.

Overall good resort. The only drawback is that the elevators are slow and unpredictable. I suggest that the day before you check out you put your bags in the car that night. If you wait to load up the day of checkup you'll be left holding you luggage for a while. This is the only problem i have with the motel. Its in a decent location,my room was kept spotless and the staff was polite. We stay here 2/3 times a year. The one big downfall is that they dont have an outside pool. I recommend this motel.

The parking situation is a little lacking with this place. We came down for a car show, and my truck was too tall to get into their parking deck. The manager personally handled the situation and I was issued my own personal parking place for the weekend. I have never had that level of personal service with any other hotel. The room descriptions were a little vague on the website, but I was not disappointed upon arrival. This is a very nice, clean, and well kept place. My only let down was that the indoor pool was very small and shallow. We will be staying here again.

great view

We stayed at three different resorts in Mytle Beach within a 7 day span. This resort was the best of the three. It is clean and the staff there are so very friendly and helpful. The room was modern and comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with dishes and utensils. The bad news...as stated in the other reviews, the parking is a bit annoying. Once I got back to my room and realized I forgot something in the car. Just went without it rather than go all the way back to my car. Also, the elevators are very slow and there are only three. At checkout time, this could be a problem especially when the hotel is full.

Nice hotel. Good room. Lots of space. Check out was a nightmare. Only 3 elevators and one was not running. Everyone was trying to get their luggage down so you had to wait up to 30 minutes to get on the elevator because they were full at every pass. I asked at the desk if I could get a late checkout to let the rush pass. The girl said no, I had to be out of the room at 11. I told her she would need to send someone up to carry my bags down 18 floors. They finally sent someone up and we did get out but it could have been handled better. Other than that, you have to park a block away and since many of the cheap hotels on the way are closed it did not feel safe and I was approached by beggars almost everytime I went to get the car. I would stay there again but not in off season.

I was told about Bayview from a co-worker that stayed there this past Christmas and he said, it was a very nice place to stay. It was very convient to the board walk and the local bar in the area. I enjoyed the clean room and the beds were very comfortable. My son enjoyed his weekend at Bayview also. He put his drinks into the refrigerator and the next day they had ice inside them. The access to the internet was very good also. My boyfriend enjoyed that shower so much, that I teased him, that I was alittle jealous of him staying in there so long. I will past Bayview along and let everyone know that it was a nice place to stay.

We stayed in a clean, pleasant, one-bedroom, one-bath condo with a city view. Very comfortable bed, very nice room overall.

It was our 36 anniversity we had a nice time together away from home just the two of us I like the hotel and will be back again and we live I'm Charlotte nc not to far of a drive. Thanks Alberta

Was hesitant to book here after reading some of the reviews; however, had a great stay. Received a clean oceanfront room at a great price. Have no serious complaints about this property. Would stay here again.

This Hotel was in a great location and the price was fantastic at this time of year. I loved the HOT hot tub the first night , but the 2nd night it was not hot at all! The room was very spacious, just remember to bring your own coffee for the machine or you will be buying it at the in hotel starbucks like we did.The boardwalk is beautiful and the views from the blacony are fabulous. We will go back here again.

Hotel was very clean. It is in a good location and close to lots of attractions in Myrtle. I would stay there again.

We stayed at the bay view during Jan and it was super cheap and close to everything. It had a great view. Clean room super friendly staff. The pool was warm and clean. We would go again.

Hotel staff wonderful, the parking situation is a little difficult.

The pictures actually matched the room, which was very nice. I got a street view suite and it was a great room. Very Spaceous. Only cons were the weak Internet and the toilet ran all the time. I do plan to stay here again next winter. The parking might be a issue in the peak season. (Parking a street over). Right on the boardwalk. Easy walk to everything.

We came for New Year's; the overall condition of the hotel is very good. The beds and furniture are not the most comfortable, but they're OK. Parking and check in/out are the biggest issues, there's just not enough space in the small drive in front of the hotel, and you can't get into the garage before you check in. The key reader in the garage was problematic to say the least. Needs to be replaced! Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay and I would stay here again. The hotel is in a good location, at the end of the new boardwalk and is actually intergrated into the boardwalk. There are some older properties surrounding that need to be torn down, but they didn't factor into our stay. Just plan to wait if your're checking in on time!!

Wife and I made online reservations the day before a shopping trip to Myrtly Beach. Got a very good rate and while suspect of this first time experience were very pleased with the room and staff.
