Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier - طوكيو

It is a great hotel. It is well located for shopping and dining in the Ginza. The rooms have wonderful views, although the rooms are quite small with little storage space. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay in Tokyo for 4 nights in Mitsui Garden. The views from our room, and the hotel lobby, were excellent. The rooms were on the small side, but to be expected for the price we paid I think. It was in a great location, close to many metro stations and the buzzing Ginza shopping area. The hotel staff were helpful, but we found they struggled with some of the sightseeing requests we had, but always very willing to help. Overall, great stay and would recommend this to anyone travelling to Tokyo.

Excellent hotel, with wonderful staff and service. Clean and luxurious rooms and bathroom...loved the location. Wonderful breakfast, very nice spread. Highly recommended.

We loved the room and lobby design, the electric bikes were fun and Kyoto is well set-up for cycling, the location was excellent and the staff helpful - the only problem was fiding reception when we arrived. It's round the side, in the basement with the hotel cafe.

very easy to find in a city where street addresses mean little. getting off at shimbashi station, it's a short couple blocks and if you're not sure where you're going, just look up--the hotel is easily identifiable day or night (but make sure you're looking for the mitsui PREMIER, there is a mitsui garden hotel in Odaiba). on my visit all the staff spoke well enough english to help me, and there are great views from the lobby. the room was quite serviceable. the pillows are a little asian style--if you like a fluffy down pillow you'll be hard pressed to find one (but that was at every place I stayed, not just this hotel)

My husband and I stayed here for one night and liked it alot. The staff is very friendly and helpful and many speak English. The room is pretty small (bathroom and shower are decent size though) but it wasn't an issue. The hotel and room have a modern feel and the view was spectacular especially of Tokyo Tower (the hotel starts on the 16th floor). Only downsides were the small room, the fact that the cab driver had trouble finding it (so bring the address and phone number with you) and no room service (that we saw anyway). Had free wired internet connection. Good restaurant/bar on the lobby level. Hotel is close to Ginza and lots of shops and eateries around.

I really enjoyed my stay here. This hotel seems to be popular with mostly Japanese tourists and business people but the staff does speak enough English to get by very well. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of the Ginza District with all its high-end stores and variety of restaurants. The standard single room I had was comfortable and a good value. The only wish I had was that the breakfast buffet be more varied (same stuff served every morning).

This hotel has a really swanky feel to it and there is no surprise it seemed very popular with foreign and Japanese business men alike. It's a little tricky to find it from the Shinbashi train station, but you are right amongst an exciting bustle of restaurants, bars and very nearby the polished new area of shiodome, and the high end shops of ginza. The special frosted/defrosted glass in the bathroom is a really unique touch, so you can always take advantage of the view!

Great location, really nice hotel, EXCELLENT shower. Rooms are a little bit small for the money, but i've heard that is true of all hotels in Tokyo. Breakfast was good but the same everyday which got a little boring. Staff were amazingly helpful and their English was really good. All in all, great place.

A designer hotel with superb service. The location is perfect for all Tokyo attractions, the Ginza subway station usually serving as the starting point. The Tokyo railway station with shinkansen is just one stop away. Also, the Ginza district is ideal for restaurants and shopping. Excellent buffet breakfast, and in the evening the restaurant (which has a superb view on Tokyo and the Sumida river) serves imaginative fusion cusine. Our room, though smallish (that's Tokyo, so no surprise here) had a fabulous view and was very stylish. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Our next stay in Tokyo will be definitely The Mitsui Garden Hotel in Ginza.

Tokyo has space at a premium, but this was a joke. the ['superior double'] room was so small that the bed was pushed up against the wall on one side. there was nowhere to put a case other than at the end of the bed so it was one big obstacle course. we stayed 1 night here then 2 at the intercontenental; only slightly more money per night but what a difference - big room, comfy bed and great service. I read the reviews on this site of the Ginza Premier and was looking forward to it as it actually rates higher then the intercontinental - it does not live up to its 4.8 rating at all. Do yourself a favour and book the ANA intercontinental instead

Very much enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the lobby has a great view of the Tokyo Tower, and the staff is very kind.

Accessible to all Ginza shopping, this is a super contemporary hotel with great service in the heart of Tokyo. We arrived early and our room was ready so we were offered early check in. Staff were exceptionally helpful.

The hotel is very well located in the best area of Tokyo, great high end shoping and restaurant area. The hotel is very modern, great service and the room is high tech, but small as many hotels in Tokyo. The hotel starts at level 16 so a great city view is securred from your room. I would definiotively book there again

Friendly and helpful staff. We greatly appreciated being allowed to check in a few hours early after a night flight. The moderate twin was ample size with excellent bathroom facilities. The big windows with nice views were another plus. We'll probably be back next year.

Well located for exploring Ginza, and taking the boat from Hama Rikyu gardens up to Asakusa. Small room but well-appointed (loved the ability to frost and de-frost the glass between the bathroom and the bedroom). Surprised that we couldn't get room service. Fantastic view, same as the one from the bar so wouldn't bother visiting the bar (totally overpriced - £20 / $30 for a small, lukewarm 'hot' chocolate!). Very firm about check-in time so don't expect to get early access to your room if you arrive from an overnight flight. Lots of good bars / restaurants nearby and relatively quick / easy access to Shimbashi station for exploring further afield. Area is a bit characterless and doesn't feel much like Tokyo. Overall we preferred our stay across town at the Hundred Stay - much better value for money, also has great views, and is in an area full of character (Okubu, just north of Shinjuku).

Very convenient location, (though a bit of walk to the station, it is middle of Tokyo) the room is very clean, modern and renovated well. Size is very small but I liked the design and comfortless. I wish the room had a writing desk...They also have prepared coffee, water bottles etc.

This is a very chic and new looking hotel in tokyo's ritzy ginza district. Directly outside the hotel isn't much, but it's a few minute walk to ginza's main drag. The room is tiny, but that's to be expected in tokyo. The in hotel restaurant is not a bargain so look elsewhere.

This was my third stay here. It is well priced. Hotel and rooms are clean and staff are friendly. It is a 5 min walk to the subway. Oveall no negatives at all.

This is a great option in Tokyo especially if you're solo--it's right in Ginza and not far from the Metro and JR train lines, the rooms are all up high so you get a pretty nice Tokyo view from the window, service is great as you would expect, and it looks very nice and clean on the inside. It's a mid-range hotel with some high-end qualities, ideal for business more than leisure but that could work too. The best thing about it is, even though it's got the standard small Tokyo rooms, the layout is very well done, so the size of room was not a problem for me. Rooms have a nice big window, fairly comfortable bed, free internet, and a nice bathroom with a great shower and a deep Japanese-style bathtub. If you can afford the Park Hyatt stay there of course, but if you're on something of a budget this is definitely recommended.

We booked this place on the recommendations of our nephew; if you plan to get up early to go to the Tokyo Fish market, this hotel is 10 minute walk there. At the edge of Ginza for shopping. Served our purpose of getting to the Fish Market early (i.e. 5:30 or earlier!). Great reception staff; great rooms. Only minor downside is smoky lobby; you'll find out Japan is one of the last places in the world that still does not have restrictions on smoking in public areas (e.g. lobby, restaurants).

A beautiful hotel with a very modern edge in a central location to shops and restaurants. Our room was on a corner with our bathroom looking directly to Tokyo Tower and our bedroom looking over the city skyscrapers. It was spotlessly clean and staff were extremely helpful. Highly recommend!!!

Good deal for a 4* hotel. Really good location,nice view from the room and the reception on the 16th floor. I would definitely go back.

As a regular AsiaPac business traveller, I stay at Crowne Plaza, Rennaissance, Kempinski quality hotels and Mitsui Ginza was comparable quality, but at a much better price value for Tokyo.

The Mitsui Garden Ginza Premier is convenient to the Ginza strip - several short blocks - and two metro stops and the Shimbashi train station are within five to ten minutes' walk. The Narita Airport limousine bus stops at the door for the same price as the N'EX train to Tokyo station. Our room was comfortable with a fine view toward the Ginza. There is no wifi, but ethernet is available in the room. The lobby and restaurant enjoy impressive views toward the Sumida River and, while the restaurant is a bit pricey, that's to be expected given the locale; at breakfast the buffet offers a reasonable range of items and is better value than lunch or dinner. The hotel's major liability - and this is admittedly not huge - is the moderate inconvenience of having to take two elevators to access your lodgings, as the lobby is on the 16th floor of an office tower. So don't forget to take your umbrella when you leave your room...

I had a pleasant stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel. The room was rather small and did not have much capacity was not well appointed for storing several days worth of clothing and other items.

The room is spacious by Tokyo standard, and well-arranged. Lobby is at 16th floor and rooms are higher, with nice city or even partial bay view. About 5 min. walk to Shinbashi station and right in the heart of Ginza area. Amenities provided are upscale as well. Happy with my stay.

Muy buena ubicación, con unas vistas espectaculares de la ciudad y espacio suficiente para los estándares de la ciudad de Tokio. Cuesta bastante el hotel pero merece la pena para estancias largas. Calidad media-alta.

房間太小

Although rooms are not spacious, the location and that the Airport Limosuine bus stops at this hotel is a benefit. I am a frequent traveller to Tokyo and stayed only one night before travelling to other area of Japan. On my return I chose a different hotel though since I think the value for money/standard was better at Grocery Ginza since I don´t spend much time at the hotel.

Ginza is the place to stay when in Tokyo - elegant, packed with shops, restaurants, cafes and all other amenities. And in Ginza nothing can surpass the Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier. Price/value is excellent, staff is extremely helpful and friendly, breakfasts are great, location is perfect for all Tokyo attractions. Add superb views on either Ginza or the Sumida river and the Tokyo Bay and you know why you want to stay in this hotel. The hotel boasts great design and has great atmosphere. How about a dinner in their restaurant overlooking Tokyo? Rooms are smallish, but this is Tokyo, and their rates there is no reason to complain. Our next stay in Tokyo will be in this hotel. Perfect!

Om man inte har något större shoppingintresse och stor plånbok ligger detta hotell ganska långt ifrån intressant områden. Rekommenderar att bo vid någon annan stadsdel eller längre norrut. Det man har nära till är Tsukiji fiskmarknad dock, vilket är ett trevlight mål att besöka.

Olen vieraillut Tokiossa useita kertoja. Tämä hotelli on sijainniltaan aivan loistava. Ginzan ja Roppongin keskustat ovat aivan kivenheiton matkan päässä ja mm. keisarillinen puutarha myös lähellä. Naritan lentokentältä kuljetukset järjestyvät näppärästi. Hotelli on erittäin siisti ja moderni ja näkymät hotellista ovat mainiot. Japanilaista tyyliä hakevalle tämä ei ole välttämättä paras vaihtoehto. Hotelli on tyyliltään hyvin länsimainen.

Hotellet är ett riktigt designhotell, tyvärr har då förvaringsutrymmen för kläder fått stryka med. Vi var två personer som stannade i 4 nätter, och fick dela på en väldigt smal garderobd, ingen plats för hyllor och det sk superrummer var pyttelitet. Kommer inte att bo där igen.

Très bel hôtel, très bien placé. Magnifique salon, très confortable, très luxueux. Superbe vue de la réception, des restaurants et des chambres. Belles chambres, belles salles de bains. Tout est très soigné. Belle ambiance. Personnel charmant, professionnel et attentionné. Que des plus. Quartier très agréable, plutôt calme, proche des magasins chics et à 10 mm à pied du marché aux poissons.
