The hotels.com website states that this hotel is minutes from the airport in Madrid and has transportation. It was a 33 Euro cab trip that took 30 minutes, or a Metro ride with 2 changes that took 45 minutes! The hotel is located down a side street far from anywhere. Also, it was freezing in our room and the staff said they could not control the temperature.

Would not recomment. Walls were literally paper thin. We could hear a child yelling that was several rooms away until well after midnight. The fact that the room floors were tile only magnified the sound more. The hotel restaurant was closed for dinner when we arrived. When I asked why, I was told it was because it had been open the day before and the staff needed a day off. Staff was friendly, but the sound issue would have been a nightmare if we had only been able to get to sleep.

Moved to this hotel for the second week of my vacation in Madrid to get some sleep at night. The first week I stayed in a hotel near the opera metro which was great locationwise, but I could not cope with the noises late night(after 2am). So alcala suites was quiet at night, and about 15minutes metro ride back to sol, gran via, playa mayor etc. Worked out great. Also I like bigger room sizes in my hotel, which alcala had

The hotel is a short metro ride from the airport. It's in a quite neighborhood away from all the noise. We got a family suite which was very comfortable. We had a king bed and a sofa bed for the kids, tv, internet and air conditioning (very important to us). The staff was very helpful, made reservations for us and helped us with directions. We visited other cities but came back the day before we flew out so we could be close to the airport. Don't expect a big breakfast, but for us it was suitable (coffee and breads, cereal).

1- The internet is not working at my room and I have to connect at the hotel reception. 2- you will find drink in the Ref. at ur room. i thought in the first day it's welcome drink but they charged me and it was 4 times it's regular price. 3- you will find a cafe machine that is used by capsule exist only at the hotel and they sell it for 2 Euro each (regular price 30 Cents) 4- the room service was good in the first 2days but after it was not good at all. 5- I found one day the room service did not wash the dishes and when I called them they asked me to give it to them and the will give me another clean however it's not their responsibilities to clean it!! (in the good hotels they should send you immediately one to get it not by urself)!!! 6- not all the receptionists are kind.

The hotel was a little hard for the taxi to find but it was a very nice hotel. The people at the front desk were very friendly and communicated well. The room was as expected and the air conditioning was working great. The bathroom, furniture, everything was very modern. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very roomy and clean. Staff helpful. Metro is about a 10 minute walk, then 20 minutes to the center of the city. Bus is less than 5 minutes.

I was travelling through Spain with my girlfriends. We're young women and felt safe, well taken care of and respected at this hotel. The pictures do not do the rooms justice. We stayed in a loft-style room complete with dishes, microwave, rain-like shower flat screen TV. After staying one night, we returned to the hotel after a weekend in Barcelona. My friend was not feeling well so we decided to return to the hotel for R&R. It was perfect for resting. Markets are close by to pick up necessities. The hotel is a few metro stops from the city center and close to the airport. The staff is incredibly kind. Wonderful place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone! Thank you. Thank you.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was clean modern and easy access to the airport. The neighborhood was quiet and safe.

The Hotel is located near all the car dearlerships, which can be a good thing, if you get lost! The staff is wonderful, the airconditioning works VERY well, which can be important on super hot summer days. The kitchen is small, really just a microwave, and the fridge is already full of items for purchase through the hotel. There really aren't many dishes to use, or utensils. So don't plan on cooking! The room is very clean. The beds are comfortable. The walls are thin... you can hear the early morning dealerships open (car honking, etc.). Since Spain runs on a later schedule (dinner at 9-10 pm, early morning noise is not something you might want to hear! The pool is really small, and there are only a few lounge chairs, so they were always taken or "saved" before we had a chance to ever use the pool. The hotel appears to be newly renovated.

The location of the hotel was kind of far from the old town, main area of interest. However, it was very close to airport and freeway. If you plan to drive, its location is great and easy to find parking.

Large comfortable rooms (suite) - well located in quiet area close to metro - friendly staff - would return if in Madrid again.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. There were very minor issues such as the room being very cold and water running from the shower all over the bathroom. The location is very convenient to all the sites of Madrid via the Metro--which is very clean and relatively easy to use. The staff at this hotel are very considerate and even let us check-in early since we have a 4-yr old.

The staff at Eco Alcala Suites were very helpful during our stay. We had a wonderful stay and would stay there again if in the area.

The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was just a 5 minute walk to the metro stop. It wasn't far from all the tourist stops. I would stay in this hotel again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel-very convenient for the metro, local tapas bars and shops. We had a great day out at the theme parc in central Madrid . Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. Excellent value for money.

Overall our stay at this hotel was positive. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful and spoke excellent English. The only negative was location. It wasn't quite as convenient to the Metro stop as we had expected and we actually got lost trying to find it, wandering around for quite a while before finally breaking down and getting a taxi.

Prima hotel, vriendelijk en behulpzaam engels sprekend balie personeel, nette grote kamers, kleine doch schone badkamer. Enig minpuntje is dat het hotel niet over een 'gasten PC & printer' beschikt. Drie straten verder is een internetcafe om in te checken en boarding passen uit te printen.

Hotel is prima lokatie niet super maar heel dicht bij de hele nuttige groene metro lijn. personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt mattig maar voor de rest een prima aanrader zeker ook met gezinnen.

Todo muy bien, sobretodo ir con niños esta muy bien, pero el desayuno muy pobre. Hemos desayunado todos los días en el bar de enfrente del hotel por muy buen precio.

hotel suer sympa dans un quartier populaire, à 10 mn à pied du métro et 5 mn de la ligne de bus. Chambres très propres et assez design, le seul petit hic ce serait la petit déjeuner ( buffet minuscule et pas trop de choix avec des produits industriels) 1 grille pain 2 tartines (pas facile quand le resto est plein) et il n'y a pas de couverts dans les chambres. A part ces 2 détails séjour hyper agréable. A refaire

Hotel ligt wat moeilijk te bereiken

I stay in hotels a lot due to work in Madrid and this was the hotel with the worst breakfast by far... The room was very big, with 4 single beds even though I ordered a room for one person. The bathroom was very small could hardly get into the bathroom. Walls between the rooms was also very thin so I could hear that the daughter into the family in the next room was crying all night :-(... So I will not stay in this hotel any more.

Vi fik værelset tidligere end vi kunne forvente og kunne derfor komme af med vores bagage. Det der begegnes som en suite var et stort værelse med en dobbeltseng og en sovesofa. I dobbeltsengen, hvor der skulle sove 2 var der kun et tæppe. Heldigvis havde vi selv en dyne med så vi kunne sove. Vi havde glædet os til svimmingpoolen og havde udelukkende af den grund booket værelset en ekstra nat. Svimmingpoolen var lukket og vi blev meget skuffede. Vi fik at vide at den kun var åben fra juni.

Dejligt stort værelse - fin betjening - morgenmaden var ikke noget at råbe hurra for - for langt fra centrum. til forretningsrejsende kan det være et fint hotel, hvis man skal arbejde i området.

Venlig personale, god værelse, vi var med 5 personer ( 2v og 3 børn på 17,11 og 8 år) der var plads nok med hems og højt til loft. En seng gik lidt i stykker men blev hurtig lavet igen. Morgenmad var meget ringe i forhold til prisen, men der var en lille restaurant ikke langt fra. Kan helt sikker anbefales til familier.

Hotel bien situado, precio normal (aunque resulta caro por el estado de abandono en el que está). Las plazas de garaje que tiene el hotel son las peores del aparcamiento, están todas contra la pared e impide que los viajeros se bajen con nomalidad. Además, están totalmente pegadas y no puedes bajar el equipaje en condiciones. El hotel está sucio. Los pasillos tienen suciedad y en algunos lugares tiene hasta pintadas. Yo estuve en la 207 y tenía pintadas de niños hasta en el baño. Las paredes, bastante negras. Las alfombras las tuvimos que echar al pasillo, no habían visto una aspiradora desde su construcción. La cama auxiliar (sofá) hace imposible el descanso. Es incómoda. El colchón muy fino y sin ninguna opción de mejora. Lo planteamos a la recepcionista y más o menos nos dijo "eso es lo que hay". Pedimos 2 mantas para ponerlas debajo del colchoncito y dar algo más de consistencia y sólo nos las dejaron para la primera noche. Después, se las llevaron. En definitiva, desaconsejo este hotel a todas las personas que pudieran estar interesadas.

VERY FRIENDLY STAFF, VERY BIG, CLEAN, QUIET ROOMS. BIG BED, FREE INTERNET, 5 MINUTES FROM THE METRO STATION. EXCELLENT CHOICE!

Hôtel à la décoration moderne qui m'a beaucoup plus. Chambre très spacieuse. Personnel souriant. Le métro à proximité permet de se déplacer facilement. Par contre isolation phonique très moyenne, donc il ne faut pas être à coté de personnes bruyantes. Petit déjeuné assez cher, mais pas mal de choix.

muy bien situado, cerca de metro, las habitaciones son muy amplias y limpias y la piscina es pequeña, pero está muy bien para un chapuzón de última hora. El microondas y el fregadero dan mucho juego para una familia con niños. Lo peor, el sofá cama, tiene un colchón excesivamente blando.

Eco Alcala Suites synes ved første besøg at være beliggende noget fra centrum og dog! Hotellet er beliggende i cirka samme afstand som Valby Langgade til Rådhuspladsen; men med en glimrende handelsgade, som adgangsvej til metroen køres der kun - med et MEGET nemt metrosystem - 10 stationer (18 min, 1 euro) til hjertet af Madrid. Hotellets personale er YDERST hjælpsomme og finder svar og løsninger på alt, rengøringen er i top og kunst på hotellet gør indretningen flot. Det store familierum med plads til mindst 4 personer er virkeligt stort; men er ikke beregnet på tilberedning af mad. Der forefindes glas og kopper samt en mikroovn og køleskab til drikkevarer og chocolade. Poolen er lidt lille og beregnet på en kølig dukkert og ikke til de store svømmeture og åben i tidsrummet 11.00 til 20.00. Resturanten som er tilknyttet hotellet har morgenmad til en for høj pris som kan nemt findes billigere rundt om hjørnet; mens dagens menu med drikkevare (mandag - fredag) kan fåes ganske rimeligt. Airshuttlebus til lufthavn for 4 med bagage koster omkring 26 euro; mens en tilsvarende tur i taxi, uden bagage koster omkring 16 euro. Alt i alt et hotel vi med glæde benytter os af fremover.
