Radisson Blu Edwardian Leicester Square Hotel - لندن

If you're up for seeing the major sites in London, and being in the middle of the action for nightlife, it would be very hard to beat this for a value. Located just a few steps off Leicester Square, it's convenient to major tube lines and Waterloo is a 15 minute walk or just 2 tube stops away. Hotel staff could not be more helpful. Rooms are small (aren't they all in the center of London?) but clean with good climate control, and reasonably comfortable beds.

The hotel room we stayed in 405 had to have the city's ugliest view and a rooms highest windows, but it was clean and well furnished and we had a good nights sleep. I had an embarassing moment checking in at the wrong Radisson Edwardian which is very close and just around the corner, I'm guessing that must happen often. That or I'm just daft. We went to pick up our bags from the holding area in a rush to get to the train station and they had lost the key to the room so it took 10 mins to sort that out. Breakfast was good, We were actively encouraged however to leave the bar in the evening, music turned off, bill set on the table.

It was a very convenient hotel right in leicester sq, within walking distance to piccadilly circus and covent garden. The only problem was the construction and beefing up of Leicester Sq probably for London 2012. If not for that, our hotel entrance would be right at the sq 100% convenient. due to the reno (not the hotel's issue), we had to walk a little further and we had trouble locating it on the first day. But apart from that, everything was great. Their service was good. Not only their hotel but also their sister hotel next to them, as we couldnt find the hotel lugging our two large trolley luggages appearing really tired, their sister hotel 's staff offered and brought us thru short cuts carrying our trolleys along and send us right to Leicester sq's lobby. Thru our stay, the refreshing of room and other services were great. their wifi was easily logged on without much problem, no lags :). The lift was a little slow and tiny though, but it din create problem for us (maybe becuz it is winter still and occupancy rates might be lower). I wrote in to request for a quieter room as and they provided a great room to my satisfaction. I wanted to write a thank you card for "ilona", the lady who cleaned our room everyday, but we din have time then (so we just left tips, hope she got it) and had to rush to Paris. All in All - the staff were great, the lady who received us warmly at the lobby on 21/2 (gave me maps and tell me where the places are and how to navigate), the gentleman who helped us keep our luggages on the last day 26/2 and had a cab waiting for us when we returned from our last min shopping, to the lady who cleaned our room for the 5 days. Thank you. We had a wonderful stay.

Stayed here on Business and the Hotel was very nice and the staff very helpful. We had a meal in the Hotel and the food was lovely. I would recommend staying at this hotel. My only issue was that we had problems finding the hotel due to the works being carried out on Leicester Square and went to the wrong Hotel as there are 2 Radisson Hotels very close to eachother.

I was planning to attend a concert near Leicester Square and so I wanted a hotel nearby. This one seemed to be convenient (and it was), so I thought I'd give it a try. It is also very near to the Tube station and a direct connection to Heathrow! Rooms are very nice, bed is quite comfortable, bathroom is very modern. The internet connection worked well and the TV (very modern flat screen) had more than enough channels. There is a safe and the closet space, although limited was certainly sufficient for me. The hotel is also very close to National Gallery (rear entrance on Orange), so very convenient if you plan on visiting. Breakfast buffet is pricey ... get out of hotel and try some of the nearby restaurants and coffee shops. The staff at front desk was always very pleasant and helpful ... and they found me a room early on arrival.

Situated around the corner from its bigger brother, is the Radisson Edwardian. Unfortuantely given all the work going on in Leicester Square, (Feb 2012) it is not easy to get to. But stil when you do arive you receive a very warm welcome from the friendly staff. Room was nice and comfortable, and as with many hotels as they refit, they are taking out the bath and putting in a decent shower enclosure. I ate in the restaurant, choosing from their very well priced 2 course option. Food was very nice. OVerall enjoyed my stay.

conveniently located, central and accessible. the rooms are very clean and the staff are very friendly. this was the first time i stayed here and will definitely go back there. it was a good place to go to and rest away from all the hustle and bustle of leicester square.

Ridiculously small and unpractical rooms for what money is being charged. It is advertised as a 4-star hotel. In fact, I would not rate it more than a 2-star at best. Bad service and size. Will never visit this or other Radisson again.

Very helpful staff but pretty much everything else was disappointing. The bar can't make a drink, room service is sub par and more over priced than usual, new fixtures in the small room were literally falling off the walls, clogged drain, pillows without pillow cases, weak housekeeping and no heat put plenty of A/C in London in October.

This would have been a great place to stay if the street in front of it and the entire Leicester Square had not been under construction. The street was actually closed so we were dropped by the cab a block away. No fault of the hotel just wish we had known. Staff was lovely and helpful. Room VERY small but comfortable.

Stayed here for 1 night as we were seeing a show in town. The hotel is perfectly placed in the west end of London. Very quiet and comfortable beds and pillows. You can use the Radisson's hotel opposites bar in the evening which is open til 2am and residents only. Would stay here again.

This hotel is wonderfully located in the Theatre District. It is right behind Traflager Square, which was convenient. The hotel staff did assist me and my husband in switching from its sister hotel. Both rooms were small - although the Leicester Radisson room was much smaller. The amount of money we paid for this room was significantly more than other hotels in London and the room was significantly smaller. The shower was ungodly small and cramped. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone, unless they planned only to see London shows and do absolutely nothing else. Go stay at another hotel, save money and take the Tube. Convenience doesn't equate the cost.

Nice hotel, great staff, excellent position; but the noise outside the room (sirens, road works, drunken people) made it impossible to enjoy the stay. Room was quite small, but very clean. The air conditioner was too noisy to use and when we opened the window, the outside noise kept us awake for three nights. If you could move the hotel to a quieter position, it would have been a perfect stay.

Surrounding neighbourhood will improve when the train upgrades are completed; staff friendly and helpful but administration errors spoil what would otherwise be a good experience; great wifi availability; god location for getting around by underground or on foot.

I travel 100 days a year I have stayed at all levels of comfort. This is a 2star at best Major construction 3 feet from front door One tiny window with NO privacy curtain...only a non functioning black-out curtain. Porno art on wall in room...think Maplethorpe. One picture in lobby..it was of a woman with a thong looking away from the observer! Paid for a king was given a queen. Was shown a 2 kings one had NO WINDOW the other looked at the hotel equipment...air conditioner 1 foot from window. We left and since no other hotels available cut our vacation short by 2weeks, that's how bad it was! Like a motel six!

WE WERE COMING FROM A CRUISE AND THE SUPERIOR ROOMS WERE SO SMALL THAT WITH TWO PEOPLE AND LUGGAGE WE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO MOVE..FORTUNATELY WE WERE ABLE TO MOVE ACROSS THE STREET TO THE RADISSON EDWARDIAN HAMPSHIRE AND HAD A VERY NICE LARGE ROOM FOR NOT THAT MUCH MORE A NIGHT. BE SURE TO CHECK WHAT "SUPERIOR CLASS" MEANS. HOWEVER, THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE, THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND THE LOCATION IS GREAT AT BOTH HOTELS.

the hotel is really located in the heart of london and you can reach everything by foot. the only downturn is that the door of the room is not very sound proof and the rooms are rather small. however, after a day of exhaustive sightseeing and shopping in london, it is not keeping you away from sleeping for sure

Great location, right on Leicester Square. We were close to Trafalgar and the Embankemnt as well as 10 minute walking distance to any West End show which we went to every night.

The Leicester Square Hotel is in easy distance of Covent Garden, The Strand and most other London attractions. It was great just to walk a little way and find yourself in Trafalgar Square and right by the National Gallery which is well worth a visit. London is a wonderful city and no matter how many times you visit there is always something new to see.

Lovely,Friendly hotel, close to all amenieties, Regent St, Jeremy St, Covent Garden and China town. Very helpful staff, would definately stay here again.

Very pleasant staff at Reception and in Restaurant. Room and bathroom adequately sized for two people, high standard of cleanliness. Absolutely central, close to theatre-land, cinemas, restaurants and a short walk to Piccadilly Circus and shops of Regent Street.

The service was outstanding, and the staff went out of their way to assist us in the last day. Every time we'll visit London, we're surely book a room there. Its location is great. It's close to everything in mid london (near Regent st., and within walking distance from the Soho and Oxford st.). The only minor problem was some noise, late at night, from the drunks in the square. Also, for safety reasons, they removed the electricity (needed for the shaving machine) in the bathroom, which isn't very convenient. Luckily, they did supply us with a electric convertor so we could use appliances within the room. Again, the service was outstanding.

Hotel very central to many sights and underground station. In the heart of the theatre district. Staff friendy and helpfulI. I was there for 4 nights including a weekend, in which I could hear lots of noise into the late hours at night as I was facing the front of the hotel. Not sure if the other side of the hotel is any better but thats really the only little thing I could fault. I picked hotel because of location as I was on my own and it was very central and easy for my to get around. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and hesitate to stay again at hotel if I return.

The hotel was extremely convenient for the two nights we had planned, both within the Leicester Square area. The welcome was friendly and professional and the room, whilst not the best they have was more than adequate to meet our needs. Clean and tidy. My companion was unable to use the key card on their return later on the second night - an experience replicated by another of our party. However staff did try to resolve this as quickly as possible, albeit being inconvenient. We organised a gathering with champagne to celebrate the occasion and staff were very accommodating and friendly during this. Overall, we managed to get the room at a good price by booking early, it went up by 50 pounds for those in our party who left it late. The location was superb and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Blocks from Leicester Square, Picadilly Circus and the National Gallery - the location is hard to beat. The room was very small (just enough room to walk around the bed!) but comfortable and it is right is the heart of London so we were not planning to spend a lot of time in the room.

This hotel was in an ideal central location for all London's many attractions. It was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the breakfast service was very slow, not a problem if you're not in a hurry !!

I stayed here for 2 weeks to be close to the place of business. The room was of modest size. The bed was comfortable. About half the limited amount of storage was taken by hotel staff for linen storage. The hair dryer was wired inside one drawer and I could barely stand straight with it. Only one very small circular table (2 feet diameter) which was half taken up by a telephone and guest information left little space to sit and work or do anything else. Only one chair. Safe in the room was a good feature. Having a steam iron was useful. Bathroom with shower was a decent size. Wifi connection was easy but quite slow. Lack of a refrigerator was annoying. It would have been nice to have kept at least some still water for drinking. Only one tiny elevator resulting in long waits at most times. A bit noisy at night from the revelry at Leicester Square as it is in the middle of all the entertainment and bars and restaurants. The hotel menu was quite restricted. One would expect to see some more basic conveniences at this price point. Service was a redeeming feature. The staff was polite, courteous, prompt and helpful. They attended very promptly to my request to keep an additional sheet instead of the very warm quilt. They also remembered my preferences. I did not need to repeat my requests for the rest of my stay.

Picked this hotel as it was close to the theatre we were going to. All refurbished and very smart and stylish. Room was small but fine for one night. Had everything we needed including free wi-fi (my husband had reports to do... so came in handy). Hotel bar closed at 11.30pm but we were told we could go across the street to the 5-star Hampshire if we wanted any more. Location perfect, just off Leicester Sq.

The location was excellent for touring the city. The rooms are not large and you should know that there are not facilities to hold your luggage other than the floor. The rooms were clean and modern. The small elevator was somewhat of a disservice for getting your luggage to your room.

Located 30 seconds from Leicester Square / 2 minutes from Trafalgar Square but away from the hustle & bustle (No traffic). Staff were all polite & helpful. Hotel very clean & well decorated. Room was a reasonable size, comfortable & well decorated. Daily cleaning of the room was to a high standard. Small pleasent Bar & Restaurant. Only ate breakfast there but there was a good choice from the buffet of all the usuals - fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, cereals, etc. They also cooked hot food on request. I would use this hotel again if visiting central London.

Very nice hotel thats is conveniently located right next to Leciester square just a short walking distance from all theatre districts, convent gardens and the thames!!although near to wide variety of bars, restaurants and other recreational venues the hotel is located down a succluded street so no interference from the lively night life of surrounding areas. I went away for a special weekend with my girlfriend and the radisson definately made it a weekend to remember with classy settings, very friendly staff and luxury rooms. Ideal for all visitors to the area inluding young couples or families!!

This hotel has great potential. Unfortunately, what it doesn't have is desks in the rooms. Any of them. Or desk chairs. Not even in the suites. I viewed a lot of rooms in this hotel, and many of the bathrooms also need work. I get it that Europeans aren't great fans of shower doors, but there are ways to design these to minimize how much water ends up on the bathroom floor. This is the opposite of how this hotel's showers were designed. Have extra towels sent up, because you will flood your bathroom. This next point is isn't for the faint-hearted... Splatter, say from a male using the toilet, will end up on the toilet paper rolls, the tissue dispenser, and the trash can. This isn't really a feature you want, is it. Finally, during my stay the fire alarm went off four times (over three different nights). Overall these are things that can be fixed, and when they do it'll be a great hotel. Until then, however, there's no way I would recommend staying here.

Stayed in July 2009. Great location and easy to find, would recommend this hotel and hope to go back again. Friendly staff, great breakfast, lots of choices.

despite very small rooms it's the noisiest hotel room i ever stayed in, you can actually hear every word someone else is speaking in the neighboring room - unacceptable.

The hotel was faultless. The room was exceptionally clean. The breakfast was excellent. Staff were attentive. Excellent value for money. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We both really enjoyed our stay here, the hoyel is spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful. The location of the hotel is ideal for those taking a short break in London. We will definitely choose this hotel if we ever visit London again.
