WASNT IN THE HOTEL MUCH MY SON HAD NATIONALS THAT WEEK ,BUT THE TIME I SPENDED THERE WAS AWESOME.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Spring City Howard Johnson hotel. It is by far the cleanest hotel we have ever visited.

This hotel is conveniently located on hwy 27, easy to get to. Also, it was noticably clean, including the foyer which was very inviting. The room including bathroom was so clean you could eat from the floor. The only problem with the hotel that I had was one morning when the maid came to clean, I told her I was leaving momentarily and asked if she could come back in a few minutes. Well, she never came back and when I returned that evening the room was just as I had left it. I reported it to the front desk clerk who just shrugged and said she would let her manager know. Nothing further was done about it, for which I was very disappointed. Otherwise I really did like this hotel and would recommend it to others.

Front desk people were "SUPER " ! ! Very nice room, need dimmer switch in bath, lights are to bright first thing in the morning. The breakfest room needs improving ! ! Wafer make was a mess ! !..Room was crowded with more then six people all trying to get cereal, make toast, etc. Train noise was not a problem. Would like a swimming pool. Will be back next year.

This was my second time staying at this hotel and I loved it the first time but it was even better this time. The hotel is extremely clean and up to date. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. The staff are all friendly and helpful. An added bonus attraction---there is a movie theatre in the hotel!!

The hotel was very nice, clean, comfortable and roomy except for the breakfast area. It was very cramped and needed 2 toasters and 2 waffle makers! The train noise did not bother us at all but we could hear people walking above us (we stayed on the ground floor). Overall, I would recommend this hotel!

I enjoyed this- it is in my hometown and I went only to give my wife a break from my children. So we went here for a stay. It was a cozy place. The dining area for breakfast was a little cramped, but the volume of people who stay here on any given day is slight so that's no surprise. Nice little eatery next door. The fitness room is just cardio equip and only two machines. HoJo Spring City has its own THEATER! My kids were thrilled! It was pretty neat. Service was good and everyone was very pleasant. Bedding could have been a bit nicer. Overall, the place was pretty excellent.

I chose this location based on reviews from others who had stayed here at the same time of year. My sister and I were traveling for the 127 garage sale in early August. We checked in pretty late in the evening, and the front desk staff was very cheerful. The parking lot is kind of small and it was difficult to get a good space for unloading the car. The room was large, the beds very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. However, the door was too big for the door frame and I have a bruise on my shoulder from constantly having to throw my weight against it to open it. There is a train track in close proximity and it sounded a loud whistle at 12:20AM and 3:30 AM, waking me each time. The breakfast room is very tiny, only room for 2 tables and maybe 4 people. The counter is cramped and only 1-2 people at a time can stand at it. Mostly you're just in the way of each other all the time. Food selection is very limited - cereal, bagel or toast, overripe bananas, juice and coffee. I know it's continental, but I've stayed in other hotel chains who make more of an effort at using the breakfast as a selling point. I can't say it's a bad hotel, because it's not, but given the competition in the area, it just doesn't stack up well. I would not choose to stay here again.

We were traveling along 127 for the longest yard sale and decided to stay off the beaten path!! What a great choice. Price was extremely reasonable for such a NICE hotel. Rooms were well equipped. Incredible comfy bed as well as a LAZYBOY chair suitable for napping. Towels and bed linens were nice. Restaurant next door was reasonable and good. Evening front desk attendant was wonderfully helpful and friendly. Only complaints shower had very little flow and continental breakfast was a little less than expected. We plan to stay again next year!!!

We stayed during the Longest Yard Sale trip we made in August of 2010, was the best! Everyone was friendly and most helpful, would highly recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. Was very convenient to get to.

Lovely motel, conveniently located, with cushy rooms. We would be happy to stay there again.

This hotel was fantastic! For a weekend, the price was very, very reasonable. You already spend enough on vacation, you dont want the burden of an expensive hotel room also. The servce was exceptional and the people very courteous. The hotel and room was very nice and clean. The room was outstanding (unlike some hotels you stay at that have that nasty carpet and not to mention the nasty bed linens,) Not the Howard Johnson, the bed was so comfortable, I didnt want to get up from it. The bathroom was awesome, if I had to say I liked the bathroom and bed better than my own! There was a feature in the room that was unexpected...a hot tub! (Although we didnt get to use it because our son was staying in the room with us) :) I would definately stay here again and we plan to do so again before this year is over. One more thing, there is a restaurant right next door that gives you 10% of your meal ticket when you show them your room card...another plus! We arrived late about 9:30pm, I think they close at 10pm and we got there at 9:45pm, and even they closed in 15 minutes they stayed open for us. We were very impressed with the entire weekend. It's not very often that we receive that kind of exceptional service unless you are staying at an astronomically priced hotel.

The only thing missing was an elevator, no one asked if there were rooms downstairs for people who had trouble with stairs, like me four knee surgeries. So this is a drawback. The rest of our stay was great.

We had booked a room at this hotel same day. When calling ahead to inform them of late arrival the front desk clerk was extra polite. We ended up getting there at 11pm with a toddler and the two ladies at the desk were amazing. After checking us in they brought milk for my grandaughter, cereal and even helped carry our luggage upstairs. The room was superclean, modern,very large and everything was working properly. They even had a flat screen TV. The guests surely get their money's worth here. There was even a little home theater for kids downstairs. We will come back with our grandson for that. While gathering all our stuff and leaving the room to check out, the housekeeper offered her help to get us downstairs. This hotel showed real "Southern Hospitality". Even though it is a little further from the Interstate it is worth the drive to stay here .

This hotel was amazing!!! We stayed here when we were doing the Route 127 garage sales. This quaint little hotel had its own movie theatre where you could watch DVD's for free. You have your own private showing. Would be great for those traveling with children. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel!

We only spent one night at this property, but it was a great experience. The front desk was very pleasant and quick. Our King room was very clean and the bed/bedding was wonderful. My husband and I both loved the bed.
