I will definitely return, the staff is very profesional and friendly,the rooms are clean, my experience was very good. I don't have any complaint. I recomend this hotel for a good vacations in NY.

room was small but clean. neighborhood questionable. safety questionable. view horrible -- 5th floor room 503. staff nice.

It was fine for one night but no chair for the desk (no room for it) and a lack of available electric outlets make it unfriendly for business travelers. Room and bath were clean, bed was comfortable.

There is no security at the front door. Anyone could walk right in and get on the elevator without being challenged in any way.

Sleeping rooms fine and clean, and as expected small. Free breakfast was nice too (though room way too small) staff friendly and helpful. Wonderful midtown - theater-times square - location and for the price excellent. No on site services but none needed in midtown!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was very clean. The service we received from the staff was exemplary. The only problem we had was the pillows were tiny, and therefore did not provide a very comfortable nights sleep. We did not ask for more, but I'm sure they would have been happy to oblige us had we done so. They allowed us to store our luggage there before check in and after checking out. We will gladly stay there again.

This is without exception the worst hotel I have ever seen. The ceiling in the shower was rotting and chunks were falling in the shower. The sheets did not fit the bed, there were burn holes in the lampsdhade, and it was filthy. There is also a "ladies only" club located right next door! Avoid at all costs!

Great location for a quick stay, very clean room and courteous/helpful staff, terrible water pressure in the shower and the breakfast is room is very tiny.

Every single staff member I talked to was very kind and polite. I know I must have bothered them asking for an early check in several times but they were always to nice about it. Rooms were small but clean and comfortable. Nice and modern looking. Location was right next to to everything in Times Square. Definitely recommend it.

We booked a room at the Comfort Inn because it was one of very few hotels that offered two beds in the same room. Our experience at the hotel has been very disappointing. The hotel did not have our room available and only had a room available with one bed, despite the fact that we were charged extra for choosing a room with two beds. The receptionist refused to let me talk to her manager over this and told me that I should have called the hotel ahead of time to confirm that the specific room had been available. Our room was extremely noisy. The heating was really loud, and we could not sleep at night with the fan on. And it was freezing cold when we turned it off. Moreover, there is a night club right next to the hotel that got pretty loud. And finally, our room was next to the dining area, and we were awoken at 6 am by noise from other guests and staff. While our room had two telephones, a TV and a coffee-maker, it didn't have a closet or any other place to hang our clothes! Moreover, there was a four foot-high pile of trash right in front of the hotel entrance. Terrible experience, stay away!

First impression walking into the lobby was "this is it?". The lobby was one small room with two elevators and two guest rooms right off the lobby. Each floor only had four rooms. Our room was very small. TV didn't work. No chair for the desk. However, beds were pretty comfortable. Tiny area for breakfast buffet -- only three tables for guests to sit at. Food was okay for a free buffet -- pretty standard stuff. Overall the place just seemed a little beat up, like it's seen a lot of use.

All staff friendly & helpful. Hostess coordinating breakfast did a great job. Hotel could use remodeling. The street it is located on does not have much interesting activity, but it is close to Time Square

Great location. Reasonable prices.

The original request was for a king size bed which wasn't available at check in but room was very clean and comfortable so was the restroom. Space is ok the bed was comfortable and staff was very friendly at check in and check out. I would defenetly recommend the place for the price and location which has many venues in walking distance.

This hotel was nice and was exactly what I needed for my overnight stay in NYC. A little on the small side, but for what I used it for, it was perfect. Not horribly expensive considering the location. Conveniently close to Times Square and Empire State Building.

I came to NYC to see a show and see the WKC dog show. This location was great for both and just a short walk from Penn Station. Staff was polite and helpful and room comfortable. I will stay again.

Hotel was very clean & nice. Staff was VERY friendly & helpful. They stored our bags after we arrived early for check in, and after check out the following day. I would def go back to this hotel again. THe only thing that we didn't like, we booked a room with (2) Full sized beds... the beds were clearly smaller than the normal full size bed in my home... Odd.

Enjoyed our 1st NYC trip and the comfortable quarters provided at Comfort Inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful the room was small if you are large or have more than three people, it would be very tight but the it was exceptionally clean and cozy! We enjoyed the nice breakfast, always a plus at the Comfort Inn with both cold and hot foods. The breakfast attendant was very helpful and friendly. Made sure everyone was good and full and we came 1/2 hour before breakfast ended! I truly would recommend this particular hotel, the location was awesome, everything was easily within walking distance for all that we wanted to see! Our trip was a success!

Convenient to subways, Times Square, great restaurants. Had a small issue with the TV reception, but who goes to NY to watch TV. Not the hotels fault, the providers issue. Great front desk staff! Will definitely be back!

This hotel is extremely well located and the service level of the staff is outstanding, my wife loved it just this (and it was the only part she liked). Unfortunately the rooms are extremely small, outdated and the amenities are practically none existent. I give it a 4 on the surrounding neighborhood because it has a male strip bar next door to the entrance, but after that (and if you don't mind it) everything else if close within a 2 block radius. In regards to the breakfast, they should consider serving something else besides eggs and sausages for the hot part of the breakfast, and be advice that you need to be down on floor 1 before 8:00am or you end up eating standing up since they are only 3 tables that sit 10 total! But all together I had a nice experience, but would not stay there again unless I'm traveling alone and I would not dare recommend this hotel to my friends or co-workers.

Water pressure is terrible. Offered us a different room to try. Still not better. Overall feel of front desk. Cold.

Positives: Room was quient and clean. Breakfast was good. Negatives: They did not have the room I asked for because of plumbing problems. So, instead of a King size bed, I had to accept a room with two twin beds. Also, the room was very small. Note: The location is convenient to everything, including Times Sq. However, the immediate vicinity is somewhat seedy - strange people hanging about, stores selling pornographic materials, etc. Thus, it would be ok for a group of guys. But, I probably wouldn't want any of my female friends or relatives to stay there.

we had a nice stay and the night desk clerk willie went out of his way to help with getting to the airport on time. willie deserves a raise

Do you remember that episode of Seinfield where Jerry makes a reservation for a mid size car and when he goes to Car Rental place they say they only have a ford escort. Yeah that is what this hotel is like. They know how to make a reservation but don't know how to keep the reservation. Now there that is the trick to a reservation keeping that King size bed that I requested open cause there is two people sleeping on the bed and want to not fall off. Other then the tv that you couldn't see the picture the staff especially Willie from the night shift is very helpful. Comp breakfast is really good and lots of variety

This hotel was great either through me and my fiancee only stay for one night we enjoy our self because the hotel was area time square and shopping places too. I can't wait to come back to new york because this will be the first hotel we will stay at.

Perfect location that was close to all the attractions! The shower was a little dirty, the breakfast lounge was tiny and the selection of food was ok. The overall cleanliness of the room was good.The rooms are pretty small but we didn't spend much time in the room because it was close to so many places. It is also located not far from tons of food options, which was a major plus. I would recommend this hotel to travelers/vacationers because of the location and safety of the surrounding areas. Despite a few quirks I would give this hotel 2 thumbs up!

The location of the hotel was convenient, a block from Times Square. The staff was great, especially whom ever checked me in on Sunday night around 10:00 pm, give her cudos for me. The room was typical for NYC very small, but had accommodations, They serve a continental breakfast on the first floor which is a valuable $$$ saver in the city. Parking across the street is $40/day which is reasonable for the City. They do not have a workout room, but offer a $10/day with a club on 41st (NY sportclub) there hours, however start at 6:00 in stead of 5:00 for you early risers. When I checked out they gave me a bounce back saving 17% so i am booked there again this weekend. great job!

We booked this hotel last minute, thanks to hotel.com. It was right in the centre of times square. No need for taxis. All we did was to walk to whatever places we need to go. Easy access to everything. The staff are all polite and accommodating. Yes if we ever comeback in new york i will definitely stay in this hotel and will also recommend it to friends and families. There is only 2 things i want to suggest to improve their services: 1 - baby cribs that they provide as complimentary services must be padded. My grandson hit his head several times that's why we have to return it after our first night using it. 2 - this hotel provide complimentary breakfast which is good value for our stay. A high chair for a baby ( 1pc ) should be available in the breakfast area. 3 - My daughter stepped on a piece of glass on the floor in our room. We brought our own first aid kit but the hotel should have their own first aid kit accessible to visitors. Also i would like to suggest that housekeeping vacuum the floors & carpets thoroughly between new sets of occupants.

Nicest room I've had in NYC- small (as all NYC rooms) but completely updated, extremely clean and nice. The staff were extremely nice, helpful- we had a burned out light bulb and it was changed immediately. The breakfast was great, but you better get there early- like 7:30 or before, because the space is very small and this is a large hotel. The location is wonderful- walk a block or 2 down to 9th Ave where there is an amazing selection of restaurants. Cut thru Bryant Park to get to Grand Central if you are meeting people, not far from several theaters. One can get an acceptable room for a lot less money, but this is luxury for the budget minded going to NYC.

i was not completely impressed with this hotel. the bathroom was very dirty, evenhaving mold on the walls in the bathroom. i also tried to close the latch over the lock on the inside of the door, and it broke off...right into my hand! it wasn't even a metal latch, it was gold looking plastic! the hotel is also not as close to times square as stated, which made it a little more difficult traveling with a 4 year old. the streets outside the hotel were very very dirty! it looked as if there were a couple of bags of trash that had been ripped apart, and poured all over the sidewalk. i don't think i would stay here again, and we frequently travel to new york. i was hoping for a better experience!

The room was very small and the TV carried only 2 channels. Breakfast was available late. Prostitutes were working at the side of the hotel. I shall never return to this "hotel."

this was a great hotel. Good location for al the sites in Manhatten.

I would NEVER come back! This place was disgusting. We got to the hotel and the location is horrible and small. Our room was ridiculously small and the hotel service was bad. We didn't have sheets on our bed and had to wait 6hrs just to get them. I would never recommend this place. Please stay away!!!!

Perfect location for a great price. We were 4 adults so the room was a little small but they all are in New York City. The room was very clean and it had everything we needed. The buffet breakfast is standard for the Comfort Inn hotel chain. Hot eggs, sausage, waffles, all sorts of breads, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, yogart, cereal. It was a great savings on food. Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend others to stay.

I have stayed in midtown Manhattan at least five times this year. The room at the Comfort Suite was by far the smallest I have ever seen.Bathroom and a bed - that is all this room has to offer. The TV didn't even work properly.

Rooms were very small , the only view i had was of a building under construction right in front of me. This should be last resort if you cant find any other place in NY & if its really required for you to be there then book it. Do not recommend this for family at all.

clean, updated, great location to Time Square, Parking Garage across the street...definitely would recommend and stay there again.

The water pipes started humming loudly at about 1 am. This went on and on. I called the front desk and they acknowledged this was a problem but that they couldn't do anything about it. If they know it is a problem why do they book peaple in this room? I didn't get to sleep before 3 am.
