Very nice place and great location. The price was a little high but it was probably worth it. The hotel was unatended when we arrived, but there were instructions on basically checking ourselves in. It kind of felt like a treasure hunt and was a little fun and different.

We got a great welcome from Barbara who was the most informative & helpful keeper of the Weatherstation. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she recommended eateries and activities which was so useful when we were only staying two nights. The position of the hotel was ideal for sightseeing on foot. A great character property although it was a little tired in parts and a bit dusty but what a great place, highly recommended

WE WERE TO HAVE A GROUND FLOOR UNIT, BUT OFFERED US THIRD FLOOR WITH BALCONY AT CHECK IN... WE TOOK IT IN SPITE OF ALOT OF OUTDOOR STAIRS LEADING UP TO ROOM. LOVED IT!!! BEAUTIFUL VIEW UP IN PALM TREES!!!! BASKET BREAKFAST WAS DELIGHTFUL AND GATED TRUMAN ANNEX FELT VERY SPECIAL! EXCELLANT LOCATION IN WHICH TO EXPLORE TOWN ON FOOT! WOULD ABSOLUTLEY LOVE TO STAY THERE AGAIN!!!

Great area beautiful location great surroundings very close to the party but in a gated community and very quiet and safe

The Weatherstation is a warm and inviting place to stay; I would recommend it! If we visit Key West again we will stay here!

Quiet, nice and safe neighborhood on an historic street near the sea and harbor and at a walking distance of everything. Great reception and information from the innkeepers James and Barbara who made our visit to Key West worthwhile. The Banana Room very comfortable ( air conditioned outside a little bit noisy ). Remember it is an historic, well renovated building, not a sound proof bunker... The breakfast basket was nice by the pool and quite full of everything ! ( I would have like the croissants to be crispier like the french ones, a bowl of milk and cereals would have been nice and since I am french, a strong bowl of Italian coffee with milk would have been the ultimate blessing ) . Overall a great place to stay, do not miss the opportunity !

This place was great. I've stayed in Truman Annex before and it is very quiet but conveniently located near Duval Street. We stayed midweek and were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves. The pool was small but nice and they leave a picnic basket outside your door early in the morning with some great breakfast items so you can eat in your room if you choose. Overall a nice place to stay and would stay again.

The Weatherstation is a real gem. It has a great location in Truman Annex, a lovely, quiet gated community near Mallory Square. Our room was well appointed and the staff was enthusiastic and very helpful. When we return to Key West, we will definitely return to the Weatherstation.

Fantastic staff who feel much more like a host family than hotel staff. This gem is in a quiet gated neighborhood close to the nicest beach on the island. It is also 2 blocks away from everything! Rent some bicycles and enjoy your time at this gorgeous house.

The Weatherstation Inn has a delightful location within the private, gated, Truman Estate. There is a welcoming feel to the whole of the property including Barbara and James who will help cater for all your needs. Our room, 'Artisan', was tastefully decorated and spacious with superb air-con that could barely be heard in this oasis of tranquility - unbelievably so as it is barely a hop and skip from Duval Street and Mallory Square. All of the property is tastefully decorated and immaculately maintained, including the pool area, which is not large but peaceful with plenty of shade if required after a hot day in the sun. If you are in Key West, there's lots to do and see and all within easy walking distance from this property on the amazing 'gated' section of Key West. A very special piece of paradise. My only slight reservation is breakfast: the concept of breakfast in a hamper out side one,s door is a lovely one but the contents of the hamper disappointed as everything else was excellent.

Excellent location but quiet and secure. We will definitely visit again.

Love everything about the place except for the breakfast. Not up to par with other B&B's on the island.

I can't say enough good things about the Weatherstation. My husband and I have been to Key West a few times. We've stayed at the Hilton (now the Wyndham), the Hyatt and rented a small house. This is by far my favorite! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The inn provides breakfast every morning. It comes in a pretty basket, which we took down to the pool and ate there. It's a great location, close to duval and all the action but in the Truman Annex, so it's nice and quiet at night. Also, unlike the bigger hotels, you don't have to pay extra for parking. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect rating is that we had toilet in our room that kept running. But we didn't consider it a big deal given that it's an older building. This will definitely be our first choice in the future!

We very much enjoyed our 4-night stay at the Weatherstation Inn. We were especially pleased with the great hospitality of James and Barbara. Access to most of the major sights is very convenient.

My friend and I stayed here after completing an exhausting 199 mile trek from Miami to Key West in the Ragnar Race. The bed was the most comfortable thing in the world and we were delighted to wake up in the morning to a breakfast goodie basket outside our door. Our other teammates stayed at a B&B off Duval and I think were a little envious of our amply sized room and bathroom, breakfast, and locale in a quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.

The best thing about this unusual B&B is its location, within the gated and beautiful Truman Annex just a few buildings away from Truman's winter White House. It is also close to Mallory Square and all the most popular attractions of Key West. As a semi-handicapped person (I'm on a cane) I appreciated the effort they made to have their small but adequate elevator available to get me to our 1st floor room and back to the parking lot. It jiggled a lot, but served its purpose. My only objection was that there is not breakfast room though a continental breakfast is provided. Our kids especially (mid-thirties) loved this place due to its ambiance and location.

We enjoyed the Weatherstation Inn because of its complete charm, the excellence of Barbara and James (who are in charge of its operation), the fabulous location in the Truman Annex, the delightful breakfasts, free and safe on-site parking available, and the comfortable room. Our biggest disappointment was the terrible internet service; many days or evenings it failed entirely, and it never worked well (I logged onto the nearby "belkin" server which gave superior connections). The room we had was much too small for two people, but most of the bedrooms in the Inn are significantly larger, I think. With these cautions, we should certainly recommend this B&B to other travelers.

We had a great time and loved staying at the Weather Station. Everyone was very helpful and the accommations were excellent. We look forward to coming back.

Located in the private Truman Annex location, super close to Mallory Square, easy walk to Duval Street, quiet and stunning location with lovely, old houses in a residential setting. The innkeeper, Barbara, is a love. Rooms are so large, bathrooms so up to date, super clean always and comfortable. Lovely place to have a pastry and coffee, or tea, or fruit breakfast around the pool. We were all four of us so delighted with the choice, and we will all return for sure. Best place we've stayed in in Key West.

We enjoy the visit. liked the location so close to ever thing we love to walk the neighborhood is great for that we will be back.

Quiet Athomosphere, close to the happenings, nice breakfast on the balcany in the sunshine !

The Truman Annex is close to Mallory Square but separated by locked fences. The former naval station is now an upscale gated community with condos and a B&B in the old weather station. Staff are very accommodating. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Breakfast lacks some healthy alternatives to the variety of sweet rolls. A good experience.

Wonderful facility and Barbara who greeted me was so welcoming. The breakfast was great. Can't wait to go back and stay longer.

We just spent six days at the Weatherstation and I will highly recommend this B&B..The greatest location, quite, clean and secure. The people at the Weatherstation made our stay wven more pleasant with their assistance. Location was perfect to the acitivities to Duval Street. Breakfast was good. The room was cool with a large bathroom. We were upstairs in the back corner room. This was a perfect getaway and we will definitely stay at the Weatherstation again.

Excellent bed and breakfast near the Little White House. The staff were so helpful and went out of their way to give us all the information we needed to make our stay memorable. The breakfast was contintental with everything freshly baked - truly delicious. Would recommend this accommodation to others.

We loved everything about Weatherstation Inn. Lovely place, very friendly people, beautiful Key West. They should let people know that it is located in the Truman Annex though. It's vital especially for first timers in Key West.

Excellent Homey Bed and Breakfast, quiet residential area of key West....walking distance to the heart of key West...refreshing pool..private comfortable rooms, very warm welcoming staff...lots of perks a beautiful bargain!!

V ery nice and comfortable accomodations in a beautiful neighborhood, just off the beaten path. Really enjoyed the outdoor patio/pool area for morning coffee and breakfast. If we get back down to Key West, we will definately want to stay at the Weather Station Inn again.

En el Weatherstation Inn nos sentimos como en nuestro hogar, la habitación amplia, sumamente cómoda, con detalles de hospitalidad que nos hicieron sentir huespedes especiales. La ubicación es inmejorable y el entorno en el que está ubicado transmite una paz y una tranquilidad única, que hacen que uno inmediatamente se sienta relajado y distendido. Me podría quedar a vivir alli!!!!!

Es ist ein altes gut erhaltenes und gepflegtes Haus Mit ein wenig Komfort so das man sich wohlfühlen kann. Die Lage und Umgebung lassen keine Beanstandung zu. Alles was man in Key West sehen oder unternehmen möchte ist in walking distance. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Begrüßung war sehr herzlich. Das Hotel liegt in einem abgesperrten privaten Bereich. Parkplatz kostenfrei direkt am Hotel. Alles vermittelt einen sehr sicheren und entspannten Eindruck. Kurzer Fussweg mittenrein in das Geschehen. Der Frühstückskorb vorm Zimmer ist eine nette Idee, die einen einzigarten Charme hat. Der Inhalt sichert nur das Überleben... Ist alles gut, aber wer wert auf ein wuchtig deftiges Frühstück legt, ist hier enttäuscht. Falls wir noch mal auf die Keys kommen, buchen wir das Weatherstation Inn auf jedenfall wieder. Hat richtig Spaß gemacht, ist mal was anderes!

Jag kan varmt rekommendera att hyra detta hotell för en till tre nätter. Läget är mycket centralt men underhållet är bitvis eftersatt. Frukosten är som den ofta är, muffins, kaffe, juice och ett ägg. Priset är rimligt och parkeringen gratis. Kort sagt ett hoell för några nätters bekvämlighet i centrum av Key West.

ce n´est pas un hôtel puisqu´il n´y a aucun accueil,vous trouver la clef de la chambre dans une enveloppe collée à la porte.Le matin c´est une corbeille contenant le petit-déj. qui vous attend devant la porte.On a l´impression qu´on a interdit à la fille qui fait le ménage de parler aux clients.Il y a bien une petite piscine mais elle n´est pas nettoyée (débris au fond) et ses abords sont également sales.L´avantage de cette location c´est son emplacement dans une zone privée avec parking ceci au nord de la Duval-Str,près du port pour voir le coucher de soleil.

Très très bon accueil et confort, la bâtisse est magnifique et le quartier très calme.Nous conseillons vivement cet hôtel .

Wir waren zwar nur einen Tag da, aber es war dennoch ein sehr schöner. Das Hotel ist hübsch eingerichtet, Doppeldusche und riesen kuschel Bett, kleiner Pool, genügend kostenlose Parkplätze und alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Sehr sehr netter Servie und ein völlig ausreichendes Frühstück sind hier inclusive. Einziges Manko im Banana Zimmer ist, dass die Klimaanlage des Hauses vor dem Fenster ist, das hat Nachts doch gestört.

Beautiful place in nice and silent surroundings, close to the city center. The manager was very helpful and friendly. Can really recommend this place for couples.

Koselig hotell. Bra beliggenhet. Rene og pene rom. Eneste lille negative ting må være en litt sparsommelig frokost.

Väldigt trevlig personal och ett utmärkt läge. Kanske inte den mest nyttiga frukosten, men vi skulle absolut bo där igen om vi åker tillbaka till Key West.

Este hotel está localizado numa região privada e calma da cidade, porém em 2 minutos caminhando chega-se no movimento da cidade - Mallory Square e Duval St. Por ter apenas 8 quarto no hotel, o serviço torna-se exclusivo e personalizado. Trazem o café da manhã no quarto. Lamentavelmente tive 2 problemas pontuais: Descarga do banheiro estava quebrada e a luz do banheiro queimada. Mas consertaram assim que falei com a recepção. Problemas pontuais, que não tiraram o brilho da estadia.
