Hotel Dubrovnik - دبروفينك

Terrible hotel. I am unsure how anyone has given it a positive rating. The good aspect is the location, perfect for the beach and the bus stop. The positives end there. The first room I was in was a health hazard, the air con didn’t work, light fittings hanging off, toilet didn’t flush. My confirmation said I had a balcony, but I did not. The second room wasn’t much better. The staff and the service is the absolute worst I have ever come across. I would strongly recommend to stay anywhere but here.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The staff were incredibly nice and the location was perfect. The complimentary wifi and breakfast buffet gave it an extra sense of luxury. Sure, the hotel isn't any 5 star hotel, but it was perfect for our needs. The location couldn't have been better. We enjoyed the beach and swimming in Lapad and it was super easy access into the Old City on the number 6 bus. The hotel is located on a promenade and it was so pleasant to walk the promenade at night and enjoy the sites of this charming coastal town. I'm definitely going back to Croatia and would certainly stay at this hotel again for the price.

Great hotel in a great location Its about a 7 min bus ride from the old town which is easy to get and pay for. The hotel itself is on a pedestrian street with plenty of bars/restaurants and at the end of the strip is the sea.

Good value and really clean. Very strict about 2pm checkin..not a second before!

enjoy the stay verry much. helpfull staff, and nice. if ever back I will definatelly book in this hotel again.

Receptionist Ivana was extremely polite and helpful, even carrying a suitcase up two flights of stairs. Unfortunately, the waiter at breakfast was much less helpful, clearing away our plates when we had just got up to get a refill!

It was on a quiet street with no car traffic, walking distance to beach, restaurants, shopping and bars. And then, a 10 min bus drive to the old city.

We stayed here 4 nights, the staff are super friendly and very helpful. Rooms are smallish but for the price I would say very good value. Breakfast was good but the coffee is truly terrible. The staff took pity on us a couple of times and made a nice cappuccino for us. Located a few km outside the old city, this hotel is in a nice neighborhood on a pedestrian way close to a nice, albeit rocky beach. The hotel has a good informal restaurant but there is a cover charge to eat there..... a bit cheeky IMO. All in all, I would stay there again.

Very handily placed location. 2minutes from beaches and 10-15mim bus ride for 10kn into old town. Street infront of hotel is a no car area so is nice and quiet, no free parking from hotel but I parked nearby in supermarket for free and car was fine. Room was standard, tv tiny and fridge not great but staff were very nice and for the price I couldn't complain, for location alone I would stay here again. Breakfast was standard continental with some scrambled eggs and sausage. Coffee however was very poor, tepid and full of grounds. I complained and got a fresh one made behind the bar so all in all not a big issue.

We were very disappointed with the service in this hotel. We were given a small room in a rooftop annex, with no view (facing a wall), no balcony, no internet & no satellite TV (all of which were shown on Hotels.com website to be available in all rooms). When we complained we were asked to wait until the next day when we were given a larger room with balcony in the same annex, but where the airconditioning was non functioning and again no internet access or satellite TV. We complained and were moved once again, this time to the main hotel in a large room with balcony; unfortunately the airconditioning was again non functioning and there was no satellite TV. Eventually after a final complaint on the third day the airconditioning was enabled. Thus for 2 nights out of our 4 night stay we had a totally unsuitable room. In fact because of the heat (& the impossibility of opening windows because of the noise in the restaurant below until the early hours) we were unable to sleep at all on the 2nd night and therefore were not able to enjoy much of the third day. In compensation we were offered a bottle of wine which we refused. Throughout the staff appeared sympathetic, but we were given the impression that we were a nuisance, and certainly they did not appear to be aware of how the rooms had been advertised. Thus we feel that your description of the hotel was totally misleading - in fact erroneous. We would certainly not have chosen this hotel were we aware of the actual conditions in the hotel.

Hotel Dubrovnik is convenient to transportation into the old city, in a quiet location with nice places to eat or get a gelato, and overall very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and a pleasure with which to work. I would stay there again.

We loved the area. It was easy to hop on a bus to visit the old town and then come back to enjoy the restaurants and walks along the beach. Breakfast is served at 7 but when we told them we needed a taxi for the airport at 6 they arranged breakfast for us. I was impressed!

The Hotel is about 2.5 km away from the old city where most of the tourist action is but is very close to the beaches, so if you plan to spend most of the time at the beach or on boats it is well situated. The room itself was not that good, long an narrow, with air conditioning that did not work at time or that well. They also provided the harshest sand-paper towels which were awful. But the staff was nice, the place was quiet and overall we did fine.

the staff at the hotel were extremely helpful - they went over and above, especially kristina - she was wonderful. The hotel itself is older and while clean, very worn. The location is good.

I would thoroughly recommend anyone to stay at this excellent small hotel. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and courteous and the rooms were immaculate. Our room had a private bathroom and small balconey with double-glazed windows, plus all the usual mod cons you'd normally expect to find. Breakfast included a wide range of help-yourself choices in a relaxed informal atmosphere. A short walk from the hotel took you round a virtually traffic-free pathway with beautiful views across Lapad Bay. There were numerous places to swim in crystal clear water, savour a drink right next to the sea or enjoy a meal overlooking the ocean as the sun set - Heaven! Alternatively, the hotel was just a few mins walk from the bus stop where frequent buses would soon have you dropped off in the old city of Dubrovnik. We didn't have time to even begin to explore the possibilities of this ancient and fascinating city. We did spend one day on the 3 Island Boat trip (advertised in the hotel) which the hotel staff organised at the last minute. This was a wonderful way to spend a truly relaxing day on the islands of Kolocep, Sipan & Lopud - with lunch & wine included. I would also highly recommend the ice-cream parlour right next to the hotel! Overall this was a truly lovely place to stay & I would love to come back here soon.

Ainoastaan huoneessa oleva kokolattiamatto oli epämiellyttävä. Parveke kaipasi pesua. Sijainti rauhallinen, huoneeseen ei kuulunut melua.

Hotellet medel-måttligt, bra gångavstånd till buss, supermarket, bad eller kaffebarer.Frukosten ingen höjdare jämfört med andra 3-stjärniga hotell.

Besviken. Ni uppger att rummen har balkong. Det hade inte vårt och de kunde heller inte ordna ett sådant rum. Rummet var opraktiskt och konstigt möblerat.

Habitación no cómoda pues había una cama supletoria que no pedimos.

l'un des chambre était un peu pêtite. Salle de bains nettoyée chaque jour et linge toilette changé aussi, mais moquette chambre pas nettoyée et des petites bébêtes dans la literie qui nous ont beaucoup piqué chaque nuit. problème signalé, mais... Dommage, car bien situé proche de la plage, dans une zone piétonne avec des petits sentiers de ballades tout proches et un arrêt de bus à 5mn permettant d'aller dans le vieux dubrovnik en 15 mn

The hotel is not located right by the beach, as I assumed when I looked at their map at hotels.com (august 2012), but instead 200 meters up the main street from the beach. Having said that, it was still a good location. At first we got a room on the back, right next to some noicy aircondition compressors ... not so nice. But the next day we moved to the frontside, which was much nicer.

Hotellets restaurang var inget vidare.Relativt dyrt och ganska dålig mat. Hotellet är i behov av visdom uppdatering.Liten tjocktv tex.Jazzucci fanns på rummet memen tyvärr ur funktion..Wifi var lite underdimensionerat

Menettelee. Sijainti hyvä. Huone pieni ja kulahtanut, sänky ihan puhki kulutettu. Ilmastoinnin kanssa ongelmia loppuviikosta.

Generalt et helt fint hotel, som levede op til vores forventninger. Skal der være lidt konstruktiv kritik for vores side - God morgen buffet, men lunken te og kaffe hver eneste morgen, det må kunne gøres bedre - Rengøringen på værelset var heller ikke i orden under opholdet, bla. manglede rengøringen helt en af dagene. Super venligt personale, der altid var hjælpsomme selvom om det virkede som om de arbejde i alle døgnets 24 timer

Stille men likevel sentralt strøk med god kommunikasjon til sentrum. Alle tiders gågate i området ved hotellet. Trangt rom. Bra renhold på bad, men dårlig forøvrig. Noe lytt til naborom og rom over. Middels kvalitet på frokost. Bra restaurant. Meget hyggelig og serviceinnstilt resepsjonsbetjening.

Ble lovet ved bestilling apartment, men fikk rom for 4 personer. Måte kjøpe Kaffetrakter for egen regning. Resepsjonistene var supre, men resten av betjeningen var lite imøtekommende. Var en uke, men hadde vert plenty med 4 dager. Mye støy på rommet da de ble feiret en fødselsdag til kl. 04.00, eller var det ikke særlig lytt mellom rommene.

Chambre minuscule, impossible de de tenir debout a deux! Cheveux dans la Sdb d' une propreté douteuse... Petit déjeuner médiocre, peu de choix et pas de service ( même pas de couverts !)... Pour notre part nous n avons pas eu le wifi dans la chambre, clim en panne. Et le gérant a refuse tout arrangement! Hôtel détestable, a fuir!

Qualité de service,confort,équipement,état,entretien correspondent à un hotel moyen 2 étoiles. Le prix, sans les frais de dossier, correspond à une étoile de plus.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. There was no elevator. The hotel was a bit difficult to find when we arrived with a car. The location is not great, but buses run quite frequently and it's only about 5 min from the city centre. Very close to the beach on the other hand. Nothing super fancy but at the price we paid it was a good deal and we would stay there again if we go to Dubrovnik.

Rommet var bittelite. Ingen balkong slik det hadde stått i rombeskrivelsen. Sluket på badet så helt grufullt ut med masse mugg og lukt sivende ut av det. Ble meldt til resepsjon og de sendte opp en rengjører uten at hun klarte å gjøre noe med det. Fullt i maur på rommet. De var overalt og vi ble bitt en del ganger i løpet av natten. Kanskje det verste av alt var at airconditioningen virket ca annenhver dag. De dagene den ikke virket var det rundr 30 grader i rommet. Det var gøye netter...

très bien situé:plage toute proche, rue pietonne agréable avec tram au bout de la rue hotel bien insonorisé ,tout fonctionne bien le café restaurant invite a la détente le staff est efficace et sympa

Meget hyggelig og hjelpsomt personale og genrelt veldig god service. Rommet var trivelig og romslig, men ikke helt rent, bl.a. lange, svarte hår i vasken ved ankomst. Håndklene var slitte og dårlige, og gulvteppet på rommet kunne trenge en rens eller helst utskiftning. Frokosten var grei nok. Vi spiste middag der èn kveld, men det var dyrt og maten var ikke i samsvar med prisen, så det ble med den ene gangen. Men, igjen servicen var meget god. Beliggenheten var kjempegod, med kort avstand til strand, busstasjon og noen få butikker

Hotellet lå i vakre omgivelser. Bussholdeplass 5 min. fra hotellet. 10 min. bussreise til gammelbyen - Dubrovnik.

Trivelig hotell med veldig hyggelig betjening i rolig strøk. God restaurant og god service all-over. Grei avstand fra gamlebyen. Ha med masse småmynter til parkering (5 ku/time).
