i would definitely repeat the stay.

The hotel has good facilities but lacks staff to cater to guests need in terms of house keeping.As this a conveniently located hotel for business stays, the internet facilities were very poor in terms of the price being charged. In a business hotel usually I was expecting Internet to be included in the room price with High speed connectivity.

The first time I went to the Monarch I was impressed and thought I had finally found the hotel to stay at for my frequent trips to Dubai-but I was extremely disappointed with my second stay that I will never return to the Monarch. The check in process took over 45 minutes and while waiting I counted over 49 hookers/escorts which was concerning. When I got to my room, there was a huge stain on the sofa and several stains on the floor. The next day when I returned to my room, housekeeping had only changed the towels...they did not clean the toilet or sinks. But wait, there's more!!! On the day that I was checking out, while I was in the shower, a hotel man came to the door and took out all of the alcohol from the minibar. I quickly rushed to get dressed and to proceed with checking out so that I could talk with the manager. Whe I got downstairs and requested to talk with the manager, I was told NO as a VIP was at the hotel. Considering the cost of this hotel, you might want to reconsider a different hotel.

the Hotel ambience was very good though it appears a bit dull at the reception. The check in and check out was flawless and the Hotel staff were very helpful and warm and polite . the gym was exceptionally clean, well equipped and overall very welcoming. The bed was very good and comfortable. I will recommend that fruits such as banan and apples be introduced either at the reception to welcome visitors or in the rooms. I will recommend this Hotel to any visitor.

An excellent 5 star hotel which is beautiful. The rooms are always clean and it's convenient only 7 minutes walk to the metro station. The staff are so friendly and in the afternoon they knock on your door just incase your room is missing anything. I loved the hotel it's SO nice and romantic. I strongly recommend it.

As soon as I arrived to the hotel I was impressed. I was greeted by the staff and went to the check in area which was very personal and professional in nature. Once I checked in and went to my room I was completely impressed with the room, the view, the comfort. The style of the hotel is beautiful. I have stayed at many hotels in Dubai while traveling through and searching for hotels was dreadful...but not anymore! The Dubai Monarch will be my only choice whille I travel through Dubai.

We stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights and had no problems. There are so many options to choose from in Dubai. The only thing is that it was a little expensive.

Adv. :- 1- Location 2- Quality 3- Room Size Dis Adv. :- 1- Shower is glass and can be seen from room. 2- Lighting is dull.

The hotel is a 5 star and I can understand fully why the hotel received the 5 stars - due to the exceptionally high standard; the personnel were attentive and very professional; the room was luxurious and spacious; the meals were of a high standard. I would highly recommend this hotel. It also is only 5 mins walk from the Trade Centre which is ideal if this is the purpose of your visit. Also it is 15 minutes from the airport.

Good location for business people, good room but it would have been nice to have coffee and tea making facilities in the room (a perennial problem with five star hotels)

A beautiful hotel amongst many other beautiful hotels. The Fairmont hotel, 200m along the road is better in many ways- eating options, access to metro, proximity to shops, less noise from construction. The Monarch was nice, but there are better for the money. The location is good if your at the convention centre, or want to be inbetween the old (bur Dubai) and the new (Marina and Burj al Arab). But the hotel is nit close to either one. Inside, I received first class service throughout. VERY ANNOYING- having to pay extra for wifi, which isn't cheap either. This really should be bundled into the room rate.

Good business hotel. Breakfast buffet service very well done. Not convenient enough nor close enough to convention center to walk, as advertised. Hotel's car rates higher than taxi rates but quality vehicles. Employees worked hard to deal with English language and did a good job. We had six persons at the hotel for a convention and all would return to the hotel again if asked.

I just got back from a 4-day long weekend with my wife at the Monarch in Dubai. What a pleasant experience. I've stayed all over Dubai and the Monarch ranks highly on my list. That said, it is not a high 5-star hotel. It does not compare with others at the high end of the 5-star spectrum. But it is certainly better than any 4-star in the city and it comes a price that is hard to beat. If you are looking for a great, centrally located, hotel stay that won't break your budget, the Monarch is a worthy choice.

Very nice hotel with lovely decor. We were on our honeymoon & got upgraded to a suite which was really nice.Big buffet breakfast and lunch so food to suit everyones tastes.taxis at the hotel so you can travel anywhere in dubai. really enjoyed our stay here.

Having arrived at the hotel at 9:00 we were given a room at 11:00 even though check-in is not until 3pm. We were given the use of the fitness center to shower/change, etc. By the time we were ready our room was ready. It was a FANTASTIC room - would really recommend an Executive Room.The nicest room I have ever stayed in. Spotless. HUGE bathroom with satellite tv also in the bathroom. Staff were lovely, service is excellent. Gave us a Lexus taxi to the airport for the price of a local taxi. SUPER stay. Would defo recommend this hotel fto anyone. Nearest metro 600 metres. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back! Definitely a 5 star hotel!

Très bon hôtel avec un très bon service. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. Très bon endroit pour effectuer des rendez-vous business ainsi que pour aller d'unendroit à à un autre à Dubaï.

Min första vistelse men absolut inte sista. En bra hotell och värt dem fem stjänorna. Trevligt bemötande och hjälpsam personal. rekomenderar starkt denna affärs hotell när till allt.

Rommet var utrolig flott med god seng og kjempestort bad med utsikt over byen i fra badekaret. Det er bare en ting som er negativt med hotellet og det er at de bygger en ny skyskraper rett ved siden av som tar all sol i fra bassengområdet.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, l'hôtel et très propre ainsi que les chambres. Elle sont bien décoré et spacieuse. L'hôtel est bien situé, le métro qui n'est pas chère est à 10 minutes à pied. Des restaurants (bon marché mais ou l'on se régal) sont le long de One Sheikh Zayed Road tout près de l'hôtel. Le petit déjeuné intercontinental qui est servie dans le restaurant y est très copieux. Mais le service est débordé à l'heure de pointe et nous devions souvent attendre pour avoir une table débarrassé et y être servi ce qui pour un 5* n'est pas très normal. Ayant séjourné pour le nouvelle an, nous avons eu la surprise de se faire livré en chambre quelques pâtisseries le tout dans une assiette somptueusement décoré. Petite note négative à la piscine qui est trop petite avec un immeuble en construction juste à côté (bruit). Le personnel est très serviable et le service de préparation de lit est vraiment appréciable. D'une manière général un bon hôtel que je recommande fortement.

Extremely new & refined hotel with a friendly staff, can recommend to anyone looking for a nice and luxurious stay in Dubai. Also the Spa and the restaurants (especially the Cigar Bar) were a delight!
