This hotel was awesome. They made us feel very special. I told them it was my husbands birthday and when we came back to our room they had left a box of chocolates and a birthday card. Our room was clean, and we loved every minute of our stay/

We were a little unsure about staying at a hotel/ casino since we are not gamblers but were pleasantly surprised. Our room was clean and quiet and nicely laid out. Room service and restaurant was excellent. Staff was friendly and eager to please.

It was very nice, staff very helpful. Only one issue, used the frig but was told at the desk that I would be charged for Alcohol that I didn't drink but because I tried to put something in the frig and rearranged it that was a problem. When checking out I was told that the Frid wasn't used for that it was just for storing the snacks and alcohol. Kinda silly not to be able to use the frig without worrying about getting charged for something.. Can't you just use the frig for what it is for. I guess I will ask next time if I could have a regular frig...

The hotel tries its best to keep the guest rooms from the smoking-permitted casino, but the smell of cigarette smoke is still fragrant in the guest rooms. Aside from that, the hotel is nicer than I expected, with the exception of some curious "spots" on a chaise in my room (very gross looking).

Our room was nice and clean, we had to call the frount desk to fine out how to work the shower.

I always enjoy our stay @ The Lodge. From the moment we drive up until we leave, all the staff is helpful and courteous. The rooms are very well done. I like the turndown service @ night. I feel very special!!

Stayed here to go to the Lava nightclub for a VIP night. Really nice room. Gave us a free upgrade so that we could be near our friends. Enjoyed the Brazilian Steakhouse and then spent all night enjoying the club. Car and bag check service was excellent and in all we were very pleased with our stay.

The accommodations, service and eagerness to please was like no other hotel I have ever stayed at. All of the employees made you feel welcome and were willing to please. I also had a massage at the spa, which was spectacular. The pool is amazing and the views from our hotel balcony and walkways were breathtaking. I would highly recommend people to stay there and will definitely stay there again myself.

The tower has beautiful suites.

WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH OUR TV, IT HAD NO RECEPTION COULD NOT GET ANY CHANNELS, AND OUR DINNER WAS NOT WONDERFUL. BUT THE HOTEL MANAGER SWITCHED US TO A DIFFERENT ROOM SO MY HUSBAND COULD WATCH HIS WORLD SERIES. THE RESTURANT THAT WE HAD DINNER AT REIMBURSED US...SO ALL IN ALL WE HAD A GREAT TIME....AND WE WILL BE BACK AND YES I WOULD TELL OTHERS TO STAY. WE WENT TO THE FRANKIE VALLEY CONCERT AROUND CHRISTMAS TIME...THE DECORATIONS WERE AWESOME...

We really enjoyed our stay because it was definitely something we both needed.

Beautiful room, bathrooms were really modern. Service was great - very friendly staff. We had read some complaints about the smoke small in lower level rooms, so we requested a room on an upper floor, and they gave us one on the 19th floor - absolutely no smoke smell. Really enjoyed our stay - definitely recommend if you aren't looking for a spa experience that is offered at the Lodge, but want a nice room with very convenient location.

Its a upper-crust hotel. The appointments are beautiful, just expensive.

We stayed at the Tower on the 8th floor, and the view was mostly the roof-tops of the other buildings. The room was adequate but not worth the price they were charging. The best part was the Skana Spa and the Wild Flower Restaurant. We would go back just for that.

We used the Turning Stone as a stopover point on our trip to the 1000 islands area. The room was very nice, the furnishings were nice and in excellent condition. The bed was very comfortable. All of the appropriate amenities were provided. The casino needs to offer more choices for gaming...not a destination I would drive specifically to go to. The slot areas were congested and VERY warm! There were 2 areas, smoking and non-smoking. The smoking area was much larger and open, while the non-smoking area was tight and crowded with machines, not that there were too many, but rather, poorly placed. The casino itself is VERY attractive and has great potential...Hopefully it is a work in progress. If you do go there, which I would still recommend, eat at Joel's Frontyard Barbecue...less than 1/2 mile from the casino, on the same road.

This was our first time staying at the Turning Stone Hotel and it was wonderful. We had room service and the food and timeliness of delivery to the room were excellent. The restaurants in the hotel were very upscale and the food was served exactly the way it was ordered. The buffets had a lot of choices and the pastry shop was decadent. We are already looking forward to our next getaway there.

Smell of tobacco smoke permeated lobby and hallways. Carpeting in hallways and rooms looked dirty and smelled of tobacco smoke. In need of immediate replacement. Food choices limited to food court or high-priced restaurants, nothing in between.

Very nice, upscale hotel. We wished we could have stayed longer. I would highly recommend this hotel. We had a great time.

room had stale odor ,bed was hard as a rock , tv had limited channels just basic . i wood not stay again price is way to high .

Hotel room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The only complaint was that the bathroom was a bit too pedestrian for an upscale room.

Two girls - lots of small luggage - struggling gathering it together - two valets standing right beside us talking in a foreign language, not one tried to help pick up fallen luggage - door man asked if we needed help AFTER we picked pieces up in the middle of valet parking area. No signs directing visitors to 'LODGE BUILDING" which was apparently separate from main hotel, so after struggling with luggage, front desk told us we were in the wrong place. Bellman took our luggage to the Lodge for us while we got our car back from valet and drove there. All managers listened to our bad experience, apologized, but no compensation was offered in the manner of a complimentary dinner, or breakfast, or bottle of wine or discount in future stay. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful.

Check-in took forever because four people were trying to find a room for some guy who showed up without a reservation to meet his buddies for a night of drinking and gambling. So they kept me waiting...and waiting...and waiting while the front desk staff tried to find a bed for this guy. Someone else appeared after almost 10 minutes to check me in. No smile/welcome; just take the credit card and toss me my key. Room was nice. Smelled of smoke even though it was a marked "no-smoking" room. Checked out early the next day. Couldn't do it from the room so I had to go down and check out "old school." not impressed. I've stayed there before but I won't be back. Overpriced and marginal service.

I found the Turning Stone Casino and Resort hotel not worth the cost. The bed and decor were not great. The hotel itself was kept at a freezing temperature. There was such an overwhelming smell of smoke coming from the casino that it was hard to escape it. The hotel did not provide clear information or maps of the resort amenities and restaurants. The decor of the restaurants was lacking. Overall I would say experience was pricey and underwhelming.

We loved the hotel, the restaurants and the venue for a great concert. The only request we would have is for more non-smoking rooms in the casino.

After a number of stays at Turning Stone I was bound to have a very bad experience. It started with check in as they could not find the reservation, so after 10 minutes of waiting they were found but I told that only my wife could check in as the res was in her name only. She was in the parking garage on an unknown floor with no cell service. After 20 minutes more she appears and then the front desk person says they do not have the king bed we requested. So off to the smaller room and smaller bed. Room was in the hotel, Tower was full, so wasnt expecting much and that's just what I got. Not much. Dirty carpet, smelly bathroom(mold I think), and a loud elevator every few minutes. You get the picture. Glad it was for only two nights and I stayed in the casino most of the time so the smoke smell over powered the mold smell. To sum up ...... This is the only casino I have been in that thinks service and courtesy is a luxury. The faster they build the casinos in Buffalo and Catskills area the faster this place will get the message that people have a choice and will stay at a place treats them with respect and really cares about there stay.

The staff was very plesent and helpful during the check in process and check out process. The room was great! The bed was so comfortable and the shower and really nice also. Room services was great. The only minor issue was that the window didn't open and I was in smoking room but it didn't make the trip worse. The hotel itself was great there is so much to do there. I will be looking forward to returning in the future.

Clean, quiet, and moderately priced. The Tower rooms are large and relatively new. I have nothing negative to say about any of my stays at the Turning Stone. My only recommendations for improvements would be to add HBO to the list of TV channels and have larger pillows. Everything else was great including the staff and room service food. Make sure you stop by Opals to grab something for your sweet tooth. Turning Stone is in the middle of no where so expect to drive 10-20 minutes in any direction to stop by a store or to have a selection of restaurants outside the resort.

the beds in the room we stayed in were very uncomfortable.in fact the box spring in my bed was broken and alnight long you heard the snapping and grinding og wood.both box springs lacked covers.overall the room was pratty run down.
