A well run comfortable hotel suitable for a few nights on a business trip. Location suitable for my work. Staff were fine. Only complaint was the rather loud music (noise) in the dining room at breakfast - better to have it quiet and peaceful.

I've stayed at some of Manila's best, and I'm a veteran of nice places in South America, the middle east, Asia, Europe and all over North America, Alaska, Hawaii...and the G fits into my favored comfortable/nice/clean/convenient/reasonable category. Great breakfasts,strong wifi, very accommodating service. I also like that employees don't overdo the ma'am/sir routine, and don't hover or ignore you...iit's just the "right" level of attentiveness without overdoing the Filipino hospitality routine.

Good location, 15min walk from night life of Malate and Robinson shopping centre. Hotel staff veryyy friendly, nice breakfast. Rooms are clean and comfortable however not very big.

This is a small hotel, the lounge area is comfortable, the receptionist friendly. Rooms are adequate the floor is not carpeted. Breakfast is local cuisine limited to a few dishes. There must have been some misunderstanding because our room was never cleaned in the two nights we stayed there.

We had great 6days at G hotel.All my guests there had Fab time, The Staff treated us so well, they kind,helpful.and just so hard working, Christian and Jeff,so nice and helpful. also girls in dining room,at wedding. i just not praise enough.. Well don all and our thanks,,

Waterfront is suposed to be a good hotel chain, G Hotel does not live up to that. The people were nice, location is good being near shopping and other sites, but the hotel was extremely noisy. We were on the 4th floor and the entire room hummed and shook almost like and earthquake every 10 to 15 minutes. This may have been due to the elevator, or water pipes, who knows. When we complained we were told it was due to construction on a neighboring building, but the building next-door was not under construction. The TV in the doom was very small and out dated. Breakfast was ok, but Over all, it just was not that nice. But if your just looking for a place to sleep I guess it will do!

We booked online having seen a good rate offered, a little more than our usual place, which was full. Very pleased with the value for money. Lots of nice little touches in the room such as toiletries, minibar and clothes hangers. Very good service from the staff and the restaurant was nice. The stark, black and white theme decor grows on you. Two small complaints; we booked a deluxe room and it was our first time there, so I was hoping for some kind of view, but our room had no view whatsoever. Secondly, the room smelled a little of smoke and durian, but I think we can blame other guests for this, not the hotel. The best feature to me is the pool bar which must be great when it's hot and was cozy and busy at night. They need a bell there for service in the daytime though. decent view of Manila Bay from there.

Stayed here about four nights over the New Year's holiday. Had a nice clean room with two twin? beds, which was odd because there was sufficient room to fit two double beds instead. As other reviewers have indicated, the Wi-Fi can be a little bit spotty the rooms. As also mentioned, the complementary breakfast is pretty good and I was happy with the responsiveness/attitude of the staff. The location is on a main thoroughfare, so quite busy but fairly easy to catch a cab. This area is not as nice as Makati, but is fairly close to some tourist spots in Pasay. Would stay again.

I had a great stay in G Hotel with my spouse after arriving from U.S. I told him that we are coming back, and we did. The place is so clean and the contemporary decor just wow! The staff were great. Just the best things i can ever say. Glad i choose to stay on this hotel. I am coming back to stay again a day or 2.

Overall we have been very satisfied with our visit at G hotel in Manila. The hotel staff was very polite, and they were quick to give answers to any questions we had. During our stay we had one night, where there was a party at the hotel, and it meant we lost a few hours of sleep and therefore were tired the following day. After calling the security and requesting the noise level to be redueced, it was however solved immidiately, but we didn't feel like stopping the fun of the people partying, and therefore hesitated with complaining, but at 4am we needed to sleep. Perhaps a better solution could had been found here. Kind Regards

The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast very good with plenty to choose from. We only booked to stayed the one night, the view from the room was not great.(another building about 4m away) The hotel sign could of been larger and clearer, to help locate the building from the main road. Overall good value for money, and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

I would not return to this hotel for any other stay. Staff were pleasant and very courtious but the Hotel itself in the rooms and facilities were below par. This hotel is a 2 star Hotel.

Hotel was well maintained, staff was very friendly and food was good. Neighborhood was not the best and I would not recomend going out at night by foot. However there are plenty of taxis that are convenient to use and there was sufficient security in the hotel to feel secure.

There was a previous review that the beds were a bit hard. Yes they were! But they were tolerable. The pool was in the 7th floor. Breakfast was awesome and a lot of the tourist from Europe felt that they should have done the breakfast on the 7th floor. Overall this hotel rocks!

Bell boy are such a great service! Front desk need more personalise service, i have asked for a charger and they will turn down right away. Beds are quite hard.

busy and noisy location. Dated rooms with low-grade furnishings. A bit dirty and a few non-working items (lamp, hair dryer, etc.), but great service and a professional staff. After a few complaints about my original room, they upgraded me to a suite. Overall, a good hotel for a budget-minded traveler, but not nearly a 4 Star hotel; I rate it a 2.

Staffs: professional and friendly Room: Wifi speed is good unlike other that I have stayed in. Breakfast: Warm, clean and with sufficient choice Security: No security check at the entrance but I notice Taxi registration number is being recorded. A little far from where I have my meetings but it is an easy ride to airport, avoiding the huge traffic. Robinson Place for easy shopping and food, Black Diamond is near for more formal dinning experience.

I have stayed in many hotels around the world and have never slept on a bed this hard. The outside road would have been more comfortable. Staff was OK and seemed somewhat accommodating. The wireless didn't work inside the room and I was forced to make calls on my computer in a noisy hall with the constant dinging of the elevator buttons. The air conditioning was very difficult to turn on. If you are just looking to crash for the night, stay at the airport, it would be much more comfortable.

Hotel is across the street from bay walk. Near the CCCP complex. Close to the zoo, Robinson's and SM malls in Malate. Mall of Asia is 10 min by taxi. Cowboy grill and other night clubs are also close. Newer, well kept hotel. Modest but good breakfast. Excellent staff. Superior rooms have a balcony and bay view. Mattress are very firm. Be prepared to give directions to taxi drivers. I would tell them near the corner of Roxas and Quirino.

The place is very nice the service is like a 5 stard the buffet great very good food i will go back

I asked for the room that I had previously, and the desk clerk gave me an even better one. Staying at the G is easy and relaxing. While I believe in getting out and seeing whatever city I'm in, these hotel rooms are big and relaxing enough to offer the option of just staying put. A fitness center would be a nice touch, and someday they may want to update their TV consoles and go to flatscreen, but I have both at home, and their absence wasn't a big deal...I'd trade them for the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel, anyday. Nice lighting, nice furniture, great pillows and a clean floor...it's a fine place. I've stayed 5 stars and 0 starts, and the G Hotel is a very solid 3.5 with no downside.

I've stayed in nice places in Europe, S. America, all over N. America, and in Asia. While I may have stayed previously in top-echelon 5-star Manila hotels, the G Hotel is one that resonates with me - a comfortable, clean, classy place that doesn't reek of over-pretentiousness. After reading some of the other reviews, I realize some travelers have a high need of interaction with hotel staff, with expectations of assistance, service, and attention. While the G's staff is very graciously willing to provide this, they don't overdo it, and I was so grateful to find a non-hovering, non-over-solicitous hotel crew. So I came back! The first time I had a room that was on the south side (604) and the second across the hall on the north side (603). Both were fine, although the rooms on the north side have small balconies that provide a view of Manila Bay. The hotel is located within walking distance to shopping centers, is right on Roxas Boulevard, which allowed me to do morning jogs on the bayfront, and it's close enough for shorter and less expensive cab rides to the Mall of Asia and for your ultimate escape to the international and domestic airports. Easily walk to popular eateries like the Aritocrat, Shakeys, and others, or to gamble or spend your money at Robinsons Mall or a Casino. The breakfasts are very good, and changed daily, the TV's aren't flatscreens , and there isn't a fitness center. I could've easily picked retuning to one of the five stars I've liked in the past, in both Makati and the Ermita area, but as along as the G keeps things in good shape, it will compete for my first choice on future trips.

I love this hotel. Away from the maddening crowd of a five star hotel with all the convenience and comfort. I found this on hotel.com. The staff was friendly and courteous. Security and parking was ample for my needs. My family enjoyed our stay and we will definitely come back.

I thought this hotel was a little closer to Pedro Gil than it is. There are no conveniences within a quick walk. The bed was hard & I really didn't sleep well. Otherwise it was ok. The staff were very friendly. The room had some comfortable wicker chairs & plenty of tv channels (helpful as a storm hovered over the area a couple of days. I'm done with Malate. I just don't feel like putting up with the lack of sidewalks & am tired of street huslters. I'll stay in Makati in the future.

I enjoyed my stay at the G-Hotel Manila by Waterfront. it's situated near the bay. Hotel is fairly close to the airports but far from the hustle and bustle. This hotel is fairly new and well-kept with amenities included. Nice decor and the rooms has a nice set-up! The staffs are accomodating and friendly; breakfast buffet is abundant and well-served. Probably the only minus is it has a small pool --- which is too small to consider a laps pool--- personally, I would prefer a hot-tub or whirlpool for its size. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

G hotel is a simple, clean and well located hotel. It's located between Ocean Park and SM Mall of Asia. The staffs are very friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms and lobby offers free wifi connections that are hassle free. The internet PC in business center also allows 10mins free usage. The room also provides full range of toiletaries, including shaving kit and tooth brush/paste. There are also 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water. Overall, a value for money stay.

Friendly staff. We enjoyed the nice little swimmingpool. Our room was big, clean and had a good view even it was not facing the sea.

good value for the price and i can rate it higher than its star rating. Very neat and tidy, decent residents, good service. the swimming pool is small and not inviting , but if you don't care about swimming in the pool, the place is excellent to stay.

This was my first time to Manila, so I didnt know what to expect. The hotel was clean and well decorated, with a modern theme. The service staff was very attentive and no request went unfullfilled. The only things that kept this hotel from being a 5.0 is that the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable and the internet was slow. Other than that, great place and I would recommend it to other.

G hotel is not a big hotel but its' service not bad. I directly to point out its' negatives where surrounding old builds and bad seaside, more and more, the condition of room is a bit of old style that more like the one of a decade ago. However, the most important is that it's security is good such as writting down the number of taxi when customers taking on it..

The only drawback I've found with the hotel is that taxi drivers generally do not know where it is. The breakfast buffet is excellent, and well-stocked. The staff there are courteous and friendly, and I have always found them willing to go out of their way to be helpful.

The Hotel is good, but expensive for what it is if you compare it to some of the deals you get in other Asian cities. The hotel was nice, the staff friendly and helpful, the room quite large and clean and the location was quite convenient - It's walking distance (15 minutes) to clubs and also train station. It just wasn't what I was expecting for the price, however I get the impression this is just the prices of hotels in Manila. The pool wasn't great. It was literally just a pool with no area around it for sunbanking. That all being said I would stay there again.

The hotel visit was a fine one. Good staff, clean and comfortable rooms, good location. I would recommend hiring more staff for the breakfast service hours. I recommend the hotel as a good bargain and a fine place to stay in Manila. I will return there.

Hotellet i sig var bra, med undantag av rum 404 som jag först hamnade i. Prisvärt. Läget är bra och riktigt trevlig personal. Tyvärr byggs det inpå så det blir lite störande ljud. Byggarbetarna slutar inte kl 16 direkt....

마닐라 물가가 비싸네요. 혼자가는 여행이라 부담스러워서 이 호텔로 정했는데, 규모는 한국 모텔급이라고 보면 될것 같아요. 조식은 먹어보지는 않았지만 별로 였던 것 같고요.

Номер внутри - нормальный, но без окон: вид из окна на стену соседнего здания, до которой 30 см. Завтрак стал хуже, чем 2 года назад Персонал приветливый.

우선 깨끗합니다. 내부도 좋고 깨끗하고 시원하고 다 좋습니다. 아침조식도 좋고 맛있습니다. 쌀밥이 있음. 여직원이 아주 이쁨 ㅋㅋ 카운터도 친절 아무튼 대체로 만족 마닐라 자체가 안좋음 ㅋㅋ 두번다시 마닐라는 안갈거임.

방상태도 깨끗하고 대체적으로 맘에들어요 근데 3박했는데 시트정리만하지 바닥의 머리카락같은건 안치우시는거같더라구요 (시트갈고 청소를 남직원들이 하더라구요..그래서 곰꼼함이 떨어지는듯) 직원들도 친절하고 아침은 다양한 메뉴가있는건 아니지만 간단한 요기할정도는 되는거같고 수영장이 이뻐보여서 예약한것도있는데 너무 작고요 비가와서 빗물이섞여서 사용은 못한다고하더라구요 호텔은 주변에비해 많이 작지만 외관은 환하고 깔끔해요 위치는 마닐라베이가 보이는곳이긴하지만 저라면 다음엔 말라테로안잡고 마카티로 잡을꺼같아요 마닐라베이 너무 더럽고 냄새도 나구요... 베이뷰 이런건 없었어요... 깔끔하고 모던한로비에 친절한 직원은 추천해요

If I think about stay price, this hotel not bad but not good. Because the amount of money is also the same as Water front Insular Hotel in Davao of the management company the same-affiliated and the comfort is goodness not compared. Maybe somebody say G hotel is in the town and Davao's hotel is like a sightseeing spot hotel, It is natural differing. But for foreigner I don't think so. Anyway I hope so this hotel need more good care to customer. I stay time this hotels cafe is always some company use meetings. I love coffee then I can't comfortable there.
