Hotel was nice but absolutely NO customer service. We booked and payed for 3 hotel rooms through Hotels.com one month before our departure. When we arrived we stood in the lobby for 3 1/2 hours before they made us pay an ADDITIONAL $40.00 U.S. per person per night on top of what we payed Hotels.com. They where claiming everyone in our party needed a passport to check in. We all had government I.D's which where valid and is stated in the website. This is not stated anywhere on the website...... What a waste of breath... We had to pay or leave. They even called security on us because we where right and would'nt shut up about paying the additional monies. I had to pay $ 400 extra to stay. If its customer service and satisfaction is what you are looking for THIS IS NOT THE PLACE...

traveling with a group, all reservations were screwed-up even dinner reservations (required by hotel rules) were screwed-up. desk manager was rude and condescending, really not wanting to fix the problems. will not ever stay in a lifestyle resort again

Our stay at the Lifestyle Crown Residences began the first night with a drenching rain storm. It was a bit of bad timing as it happen to be the welcoming night of the Gala. The brave travelers, us included, tracked on to the crowded food tent and the celebration went on with awesome entertainment and spectacular fireworks. Food was plentiful as the menu provided a variety of offerings that should please the majority of appetites. The most delightful element of the event was the staff who kept spirits up with flowing drinks and ready smiles that conveyed their main desire was for their guests to have a good time. The rain continued off and on for the reminder of the week but the spirit of the staff did not waiver. From the desk clerk to house keeping anything you needed night or day was only a call away. Food servers and bartenders became your friends and even the timeshare salesman really will take no for an answer and remain pleasant throughout your stay. The spa was awesome and again I felt very appreciated and welcome. The grounds was beautiful and well maintained as were the rooms. One caveat to mention was my mattress was too firm for my taste however my sister's room had a much softer mattress so I can't be sure how the overall resort rated on bedding. The resort was very overall very relaxing, the entertainment outstanding, and best of all we had a wonderful time. The best compliment to this resort that I can give on this review is that I will be a return vistor for many years to come.

We didn't find a single thing to complain about. Staff, facilities, food and entertainment were outstanding. If this deal comes along again in the future, we're in.

Our three nights at Lifestyle Residence Suites was excellent. We found the resort to be beautiful, with outstanding accomodations, food, drinks, and entertainment. We booked a full day "Safari" tour to small villages in the the countryside. It was well worth the money we paid for the excursion. At the resort, we were approached by sales people to hear a sales presentation. We told them we were not interested or busy and they simply left us alone. I had no problem with them only trying to do their job. In conclusion, Lifestyle Residence Suites was well worth the money we paid for the three nights.

Great location, not the most beautiful beach (no white sands as Punta Cana) but you can walk for kilometers with a quiet ocean and nice view. The room was always clean and if you make a request they try to help you at anytime. We stayed as VIP guest with access to the private zone and beach, highly recommen if you want to enjoy better drinks and restaurants.

Best Hotel in Puerto Plata for the Price, to get a hotel room in Puerto Plata with that quality and service you will probably paid 80% to 100% more.

I loved this resort, This resort is a huge property from basic rooms to villas. The VIP beach was beautiful and i could have spent everyday relaxing there. The food was delicious in the buffet and the different restruants. The property is also very nice. And the excursions they have are great. You do have to pay extra for them but it allows you to see the country side and is really fun.

I really enjoyed my stay in LifeStyle. Excellent for the price! I'm very picky and this was a great place! Clean grounds and beautiful landscaping. Restaurants and food were ok...not the best, but ok. Our room, pools and beach were beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return again! A & A ~ Orlando Fl.

I have been to lots of resorts, but this was one of my best experiences.. every staff memeber is friendly and helpful. food was excellent and the hotel beautiful.. I would definately recommend it to all my friends and im actually looking up another date to go back soon.

My stay was absolutely wonderful. The service was excellent, plenty snacks, nice drinks, beautiful VIP beach excess with Jacuzzi and wait service and very friendly staff. The restaurant Blue Lagoon has amazing filet mignon. There are a lot of vacationers at the resort but the property is so large that you never get over crowded and have plenty of privacy. Fun show at night and good disco if you like to dance. A Bravissimo Ocean World show with drinks also included. I very highly recommend it and I will return again since I don't receive the same VIP treatment with any other booking site. Can't beat the price. P.S. Do not recommend it for handicap persons.

When reading previous reviews on this resort, I was somewhat skeptical about the booking. You never know what other people expect. upon arrival, I was astounded by the entire experience. This place is absolutely georgous. The staff was wonderful. Naturally they are trying to sell something, of which I was not interested. I would gladly go back to stay every time I am in Puerto Plata. It's away from town, beautiful location. Book & dont hesitate. You wont regret it.. Good food, good drink, good people, good fun. GO FOR IT

A huge value for your money. All great but the rather significant fact that the food is plentiful but just mediocre in quality. Well below cruise level.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel, the people that work there are wonderful. The hotel room is ok and the food is not very good. They have several specialty restaurants on the grounds but everytime we try to make reservations they were always full. They basically cater to the VIP membership. I will not be returning or recommending this hotel to anyone. We were invited to become members and were shown the grounds, when we said no we were treated very well. The membership rate is high and what you get for it is not worth it.

The staffers were nice and welcoming.However, the advertisement was misleading. We were placed in what appeared to be the Tropical Resort. The food was atrocious; the cleanliness of the room was mediocre. Worst of all, the resort aims at catering solely to their VIP members. The attractive scenery, was blocked off to everyone but their VIP members. The liquor tasted like cough medicine. I was greatly disappointed. Don't waste your time or money.

I love staying in this hotel we had a great time. Enjoyed the service and friendliness of the staff. The food and drink were super and we had a wonderful time and will definitely stay there again.

отель работает на системе "купонов"..сразу при заселении отельный "гид" предлагает показать вам отель, и попутно старается продать купон, с которым вы автоматически становитесь VIP-персоной и можете пользоваться всеми благами отелей, входящих в их сеть...стоимость данного "счастья" заоблочная, да и русскому человеку мало интересна...))) так вот...если вы отказались приобрести это чудо американской мысли, то обречены передвигаться по территории отеля пешком...а от номера до пляжа идти минут 10-15, так же как и до ресторана...room service нет...вернее, фактически он есть, но неоднократные попытки заказать еду в номер (ибо топать 15 мин под дождем до ресторана пешком удовольствие сомнительное) не привели ни к чему..заказ принимали с горем пополам, но так и не приносили...

La playa no es la gran cosa pero las instalaciones y el servicio fantástico. La fiesta del domingo con con comida VIP genial, la comida estupenda. Muy recomendable

Acostubrado a ir en los resorts de Punta Cana, le aseguro que este resort lo tiene todo... mientras tienen acceso a la playa VIP !! Complejo bastante grande, restaurante de calidad, servicio de primera (de nuevo relativo a su bracelete). Reservamos en las residencias pero tuvimos incluido el acceso a la famosa playa VIP ( a reservar TEMPRANOOO !!). En definitivo, recomendamos este hotel en Puerto Plata sin duda se quedaron sorprendido por sus servicios (OJO cuidado con los representantes que quieren hacerlos socios del resort)

todo ha sido genial: el personal, la comida, la cena, la habitación... Lo único: la playa, que a nuestro parecer no era de las mejores.

MUY BUEN HOTEL RECOMENDABLE

El hotel es excelente, mi unico comentario es sobre el servicio al cliente en el counter. Necesitaba una cama por unas horas para que mi bebe pudiera dormir un rato y el personal fue muy desatento y no le estaba solicitando nada gratis. Finalmente me dieron una habitacion la cual tuve que pagar por hora pero resulto que me dieron la peor habitacion que tenian, humedad por todos lados un liqueo en el baño y las sabanas hasta mojadas. no entendi porque tuvieron que darme la peor, a pesar que les estaba pagando, si el hotel estaba vacio.

es lo mejor, de puerto plata. las mejores atenciones, la habitación muy linda, y el entorno del hotel es increíble. muy buen hotel para relajarse.

Las habitaciones de las Suits presidenciales son excelentes, todo muy bonito en el hotel...

Quede muy satisfecha con el servicio y las instalaciones den hotel...

en mi vista en 3 ocasiones tuve que esperar mas de 30 minutos por el vehiculo de transporte a la playa

Este hotel tiene muy buenas edificacion, y todo el tiempo que estuve en este hotel era muy buena atencion, exelente comida, exelente servicios, muy buena atencion al cliente, exelentes piscinas, buen espectaculo de fuegos artificiales. Muchas gracias.

Creo que tienen muy poco personal, la atencion no es buena, tiene uno que estar llamando a los camareros , incluso para que nos pongan los cubiertos a la mesa. La calidad de la comida es buena pero tienen muy poca variedad.

El hotel en si esta bien,los camareros ,como la gente que te atiende dentro del recinto,de maravilla comida ,limpieza,todo excelente,empleados de la zona de recepcion ,mal control,en dos palabras no te hacen ni caso, hotel de menos categoria y privilegios del que habia reservado,por que supuestamente estaba cerrado el que reserve. Mal

Es en verdad uno de los hoteles mas magnicos a los que he visitado tienen todo bien organizado y el precio lo vale.
