Everything is good . Customer service is friendly , but they could have been more informative about their offers and attractions near by. They even didn't offer any upgrades , they don't look like they care about why are you there. They can suggest based on the event customers are visiting. For example, if a family arrives their on a marriage day , they could offer next available upgrade for free or some fee etc... Almost all rooms/ are free. We went off season . Our room is clean but the lights are dull, they should replace lights with bright day lights in rooms.

We planned a last minute get a way the grounds are absolutely beautiful the room was great just with there was jets in the tub but will definatly stay again

We had a great time. Husbands 47'th birthday. Took full advantage of amenities, like pool, tennis, and the lovely beach. Positives, nice helpful staff, particularly Kandy in the tennis shop. Downside, if you stay in the village the feel isn't quite "Cape Cod". Also, you don't have "formal" access to the beach. DInner at the Tavern was very good with a cozy ambiance. Stayed in the village for cost savings, and having a separate bedroom. May try staying at a mansion guest room next time.

Our hotel room had recently been updated. I was disappointed my room faced the parking lot, but we loved the tennis courts and its location by the beach. The prices weren't bad for off season.

Great property and facilities. Beautiful and relaxing views. The resort will continue to improve with all the terrace renovations. The private access to the beach was convenient and the beach itself was clean and very peaceful. Rooms were clean and contemporary and the staff were more than willing to help.

Overall the hotel was nice!

The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, the rooms were beautifully decorated. Very clean, the location is to die for. I stayed in the west wing at the mansion for a special discount rate in March 2013. Well worth the trip.

The staff were professional and fun. The room was gorgeous and I can't wait to stay there again!

Wonderful Stay! Except I starved for 2 days because I was not prepared with my food allergies to not have a nearby store to purchase foods I can eat. The General store they advertise on their website is about 2 miles away and there is no taxi service to the remote location. The one and only cab provider refuses to pick up at that resort for their personal reasons. If you have food allergies, there is only one restaurant & no vending machines so bring your own or have your own transportation. The location is remote and car & taxi service is obsolete.

We stayed in the Villages, which was perfect and rather large. My only complaint is our mobile phones couldn't get reliable service so I had to use a hotel phone. A 1-minute local call to order pizza cost us $4, and a town next over cost me $6.50. Pretty ridiculous. Other than that will definitely come again. I'd recommend booking the villages on the far right near the clubhouse, they seemed pretty quiet.

Excellent staff. Very accomodating all around. Wonder why the prices are so high in season. Prices too high.

The room was nice but some of the pictures on the website were misleading. The front desk people were very friendly and informative. I don't think the staff at the pool was necessary since kids were accompanied by parents.

Our room was very nice and we were happy with the room itself. We were between two very noisy families. The children were banging, running, yelling, and generally making noise until they went to bed around 10:00 P.M. Then it started up again around 6:30 A.M. Other than that, our stay was very enjoyable.

Nice hotel will go again. Just wish they was a jetta tub in the one bedrooms...

We stayed in a one bedroom villa in The Villages area of the resort, located across the street and up the road from the main facility. The villa provided plenty of room and had a queen size pull out sofa bed in the living room area. It had a small kitchen fully equipped with dishes, silverware, coffee pot & coffee, microwave oven, stovetop (no conventional oven), dishwasher, full size refrigerator, and even a stackable washer/dryer. There was a small private balcony overlooking a wooded area and pond at the back of the villa. The only negative comments I can offer are that the mattress was extremely firm (bring your memory foam or eggcrate topper from home) and there was a large gap between the end of the mattress and the headboard/wall so that if you're very tall your pillow constantly gets sucked into this void unless you sleep with your feet dangling over the end of the bed. (An extra blanket or two shoved into the void may solve this problem, so request those at check-in.) The other negative is really no fault of the resort but rather the lack of consideration of other guests...apparently some wedding reception attendees (sounded like 20 - 30 people) were in the unit directly below us and decided to continue their partying until 2 am, and unfortunately the soundproofing wasn't sufficient to block the noise. (Turning the air conditioner fan on helped a bit...) All things considered, it was a great value for the cost, and we will definately stay here again.

Loved the hotel..mansion...villas. best hotel ive ever stayed at. Only thing we fidnt like wad the queen size mattress with what appeated to be a full size headboard. Pillows kept falling under headbosrd all night. Very hard mattress. Also went to open the deck window at the villa and the window fell out of the frame completely.! Other than that we would stay there again in a heart beat!

We were disappointed with Ocean Edge! We thought that we were going to be located at the Mansion but instead were placed down the road at the Villas. We understand that it is off season but the rooms were musty and very inconvenient! Our friends who we were traveling with had to move there location twice, once because of being located in a lower room that was way to musty and damp to stay, and the second had no water( had to move at 1am to another location. Hopefully in season is better!!

We had a great stay at the Village at Ocean Edge last weekend. We were nervous based on some negative reviews found here. The condo was in great shape and very well equipped. The facilities were great. The resort fee of $20 that many people complained about was mentioned when I booked. Resort Fees are common in New England you pay them whether you use the facilities or not. The location is great only a short walk to the village, bring the bikes for the kids there were bike paths at the resort. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely setting, well maintained place. The suites were beautifully decorated but construction of the building was poor...old plywood I guess. You could hear people next door and upstairs. Staff service was excellent. A top notch conference hotel. But because of all the working people, romance and familes take a back seat here to the coporate crowd. Food in the expensive restauarnt was ...well expensive...but awesome!!

Stayed for 2 nights in October 2012 over Columbus Day weekend. Pros: comfortable beds, location near bike trails, beautiful grounds with nice beach for walking. Cons: weddings both nights on grounds. Heard yelling for half an hour by people in hallway at 1:30 am one night. Several guests called front desk, then police came. Breakfast costs $22 per person at hotel (1/2 or 1/3 that cost at nearby restaurants). Hotel charges $20 per night resort fee regardless of whether facilites such as pools, tennis courts, beach, etc. are used. This resort fee should just be included in room price. Don't know if I would choose to stay there again.

Easy access to beaches, golf, restaurants, rail trail. We stayed at the golf village and had a comfortable, roomy condo with kitchenette. Perfect!

Hotel Grounds are beautiful and great location in the cape. Went for a wedding and the wedding itself was great! My room had dirt/soot in the sheets when we arrived and replacement sheets were ink stained. Hair dryer didnt work 1st 2 nights, & the toilet did not flush properly (almost an overflow) - Hair found in clean towels and the Sauna was not turned on in the indoor pool. Also no mention of Resort fees (plus taxes on these) upon arrival - the hotel would not refund of nights stay other then resort fees and offered breakfest. Becuase of the lack of cleanniess of the room we declined but received some room credits used elsewhere in the resort. --- Very Disappointed with the room and lack of willingness of response of the resort and attitude.

The most expensive hotel I have uset outside New York City and the only hotel without free internet. That is really top lousy!

Not being familiar with the area, we were guided to this resort by Hotels.com. We loved the location, in the quaint little town of Brewster. My only negative comment would be the noise level of the air conditioning unit in the bedroom; it was somewhat loud and disrupted my sleep. The room and bathroom were clean and neat. I would definitely stay here again.

very pleasant

We have stayed at Ocean Edge several times and it is always a wonderful experience. The staff is great and the facilities are top notch. We'll be back again soon.

was not happy - did not know that rooms were so far away from pools and beach and dining facilities - going by mini bus was not my idea of fun. The pools were very small the ocean was horrible - the beach was ugly andt to get to it down a rickety staircase for a senior citizen was not good - also when we got there the extra charges of $20 oer day was unexpected - had to pay the whole amount up front for reservation which is unheard of - would have left if it was not already paid for - the golf was very expensive and children were playing golf and had no idea how to which left the regular golfer in a bind - the separation of guests and owners was ridicul;ous - all we did was sleep there - would not recommend this to anyone

Loved our stay. Very relaxing and laid back. We dined at the golf club house and the staff were very friendly and food was great. Accomodation was very spacious clean and comfortable. 1 thing to be aware of is that all the accomodation is not in the main Mansion house - we were in a villa about a mile down the road beside the golf course

It was a great stay at Ocean Ridge. Nice property and clean room. Great things to do n the neighborhood for family. The daily resort fee was the only con.

The pictures of this hotel are very misleading. We had two condo's at The Villages and for the price we paid we were very disappointed. I will say that the kitchen, living room and bedroom are very well decorated and spacious however lacked cleanliness. Our room had only been surfaced cleaned at best. The dirty towels from the previous guests were left in the bathroom along with their take out boxes. Our floors were filthy and even after we notified the front desk of the condition of our room it was still not cleaned properly. We had found the plastic top of a razor shattered on the floor after they had allegedly swept and mopped the floors of the condo, unfortunately we found this when walking around barefoot. Even the microwave was covered in food. The inside of the condos are very pretty and we could have been very happy with our stay if they would have taken the time to clean our condos. This would be a great place to stay for anyone with kids as the condos have pull out beds.

It was not as nice as I had expected. The room was run down and very sterile looking. The bed was comfortable but the pillows not as all comfortable.

bring your bikes, you will need it to go to the pools, unless you want to use your car all the time, but very nice hotel (mansion and village), beautiful site, a bit far from the beach

My wife and I went up there with our two kids for a last minute get-away. I didn't know anything about Brewster or the Ocean Edge resort, but was very impressed with the whole place from friendliness of staff, cleanliness of rooms and overall resort. Would definitely recommend this place and I have already done so to two of our friends.

The girl who checked us in was wonderful and gave us an upgrade. The room was beautiful and very comfortable - felt like our own living room.All the staff we encountered were very helpful and professional. I will definitely stay here again.

The place exceeded all of our expectations. Felt very luxurious and European from very comfortable beds to slower yet very friendly service. Food was great and ability to order drinks on the beach in addition to great weather made for the best stay I had on the Cape in over 20 years. Make sure you get the room at the main mansion for beach access.
