Breakfast was awful and expensive. Also a hour away frothe center!

We had the standard King Size room, but was not delighted at all... It was only for a night, and we were glad of that. The condition of the room was very outdated and not well kept up. It was not worth the price.

We stayed in this hotel the night before flying out of the country. The hotel grounds are very nice, the room was quiet and comfortable, and the staff was excellent. The hotel is within walking distance to a mall and at least one very nice restaurant. I would highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay for a night when arriving or leaving from the airport.

I was impressed by the Country Inns and Suites. Check in was quick and easy. There are coffee and refreshments available throughout the hotel at all hours of the day. We requested extra towels which were delivered within 15 minutes of calling the front desk. The complementary breakfast included a continental spread of fruits and pastries as well as a traditional Costa Rica breakfast of eggs, rice and beans, and fried plantains which was delicious. Parking is safe and convenient. The pool area was pristine and if we weren't heading to the airport, I would have definitely taken a dip in the pool. All in all, our stay was wonderful and above my expectations.

We stayed one night each on 2 consecutive weekends. Hotel is only about 5 minutes from the airport. Rooms were clean. Very comfortable beds. Free (tasty) hot breakfast included. We had dinner at the hotel one night. Food was reasonably priced and delicious. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others as well. Great overall service.

I made two visits to the hotel; upon my arrival from SJO and the night before my departure from SJO. The first visit the room was beauutiful, spacious and all was new ; the staff was accomodating. The second visit the room was clean but looked a little worn. The staff was not very accomadating. I wanted to drop off my rental car at the airport the night before and take the courtesy bus in the morning. I was told that the first shuttle left for the airport at 6:00 AM. This is a little surprising as the airport has 18 daily departures before 9:00 AM and the airlines recommend being at the airport three hours before flight time. Further I was told that the courtesy bus in the evening would not take me back from the airport (after dropping off the rental car) as they only pick up guests arriving from flights.

I had experience only for last night Costa Rica stay in this hotel - the impression was very good, staff was nice and careful, room spacious, amenities as advertised. I'd definitely recommend it for stay entering or leaving country (of course, if someone due to business needs this location - it's good for longer stay also). The only thing my friend noticed - there may be some dressing choice for breakfast which otherwise was also very good (maybe we simply forget to ask for?).

Room small but nicely appointed. Bath vanity was badly repaired and should be replaced. Not enough electrical outlets in room. Staff, cordial and helpful.

Overall, this hotel was very nice. The location was good, the free shuttle to the airport was great, and the free breakfast was tasty. The pool and gym were also very nice, as was the business center. My only complaint is that the room had some issues. While it looked nice, the window in the bathroom couldn't be closed, the door had trouble locking, and there were random hairs on the pillow. However, if given a room in slightly better shape, I would definitely recommend this hotel as the staff was also very helpful and kind.
