here for business...don't have maid service at home so no big deal with not having at hotel but probably won't do next time. NO AMENITIES....so thankfully store was nearby to pick up shampoo. Kitchenette was handy.

Hotel location is very good, close to Cruises and Airport. Friendly services. The Lobby needs to build a Restroom for Guests.

Staff was excellent, easy walking distance to good resteraunts, shuttle to and from the airport was a nice touch.

The hotel is in a resort area near the ocean and very convenient to my headquarter office. The lobby wasn't the nicest, so registered and went to the room. It was filthy, rumpled. Although the room was pre-paid by my employer, I walked out and stayed in a nearby Sheraton hotel. I can't believe this hotel even has a 3 star rating. Consequently, this hotel has been removed from my employer's list of preferred business hotel locations.

It was a one night stay before cruising. The hotel was very convenient to the cruise port and within walking distance to many restaurants. The staff were friendly, it was clean and comfortable. A larger foyer would be helpful. Our only complaint was the shuttle offered to the cruise port. The 12:15pm shuttle was overbooked so people had to stay behind which meant our 1:15pm shuttle was overbooked. We asked for our $8.00 back for the shuttle and flagged a cab down off the street as the hotel couldn't even get through to the cab companies to call for a cab. It cost us $11.00 to get to the port by cab and we saved ourselves a lot of waiting time.

We stayed here for a night prior to a cruise. It was a convenient location to the cruise terminal and local shops to buy liquor for our trip. As for the hotel itself, the room smelled funny but the sheets and bed were decent and the room was very clean. Front desk ladies were nice and accommodating, and the continental breakfast items was a nice touch. Freer shuttle service from the port and also from the airport was great.

the hotel was closed to airport and cruise ports about no more than 5 miles we stayed at the hotel before our cruise and after. the best thing about the room was it had a kitchenette all equpt. room was not fancy but very comfortable.It also had free Wi-Fi. will stay next time we go to ft Lauderdale.

Hotel was close to cruise port and restaurants. Some confusion as to airport pickup hours, not clear on web site. We ended up taking a taxi. Could use improvements with desk staff answering phone, when trying to confirm our reservation. Was put on hold for over 5 minutes (twice) - finally hung up :( -- gave up waiting. Otherwise accommodations were fine.

It was perfect for what I needed for a two-day business trip. Great location with easy to both my office and airport, clean, safe and comfortable place to shower and sleep. I have alreday recommended it to friends.

Clean and close to several restaurants and stores; Breakfast very light (cereal, oranges, instant oatmeal, packaged muffins, granola bars) but free. Small charge for transport to cruise terminal, free quick transfer to/from airport. Would stay there again.

Look...it's not a 5-star. Or even a 4-star. It's for "extended stays". But for the price, and the amazing location just down from FLL airport, and it's proximity to Port Everglade, you must consider this hotel. Heck, how many places can you find with a full-blown kitchenette? Also, what they may lack in resort-style amenities they MORE than make up for in friendly, old-fashioned, bend-over backwards customer service. Even our family of 4 felt right at home. Highly recommended for pre- or post-cruise stops.

Front desk service was excellent. Room was fine. Very good for someone who wanted a kitchen. Barroom had noisy fan. We got last room in house on busy night and did not worry about it.

A friend and I checked in while at a conference in south beach. The hotel was away from the south beach noise! we were able to purchase some goodies to cook in the room. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. My only regret was no view of the water at least not my room. But the staff was awesome and its walking distance to shops and restaurants. Like right across the street! I would recommend this hotel!

We stayed at this location prior to a cruise and for 2 days we realized we were in the perfect location. Plenty of great restaurants, shopping, reasonable transportation and entertainment combined. We felt safe and had a great time with the staff.

Prior to arrival, I contacted the hotel to make arrangement for cruise port pick up as stated in their description. I was informed the hotel was simply not able to provide this service because of the large number of people coming off the cruise ships. When I persisted because of the description provided that the cruise port pickup was stated to be complimentary, the hotel manager finally offered to reimburse me for taxi fare which he honored. However, over the next couple days, I heard many other people at the desk complaining about the same misinformation. I think the hotel description should be amended to state the correct information. We were offered and received airport shuttle service. The hotel had at least two vans available for shuttle services, I do not know why cruise port pick up was such a major inconvenience to them. Other hotels had their shuttle vans coming regularly to the cruise port terminal. The kitchen was skimpy on utensils and dishes. Hot water took a long time (if at all) to get.

It was definitely not worth the money. The bathroom was missing caulk and there were large stains on the counter tops. The towels were extremely rough and the room was very musty. Would not stay there again.

Good location, hospitable staff and clean room. However the bathroom needs serious plumbing. Hot water did not come on and the water pressure was weak when it came on. Plus the flush ran continuously and needs to be repaired.

Stayed one night before cruise, great location, easy walk to water taxi, shopping, restaurants. Room is basic as it set up for extended stay customers. Staff was exceptional,, easy pick up from airport and arranged drop off at airport.

Good location. Room was a bit dull and shabby. I missed having shampoo and lotion-only had soap. Perhaps due to extended stay rather than regular hotel. Shuttle service was really great. Lots of restuarant and shopping options within walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We went on a cruise and it is a very suitable location for pre and post cruise hotel.Thanks to the friendly, helpful and overall excellent staff.

Extremely accommodating to handicap. Spacious room for wheelchair. Close location to cruise port. Picked us up at a late hour from airport. Very friendly personnel.

My first experience with this property. Great value, great location near the port and the staff were friendly and helpful. Clean, quiet and no issues.

Very pleased with this Hotel for a short overnight stay prior to Cruise Departure from Port Everglades- The complimentary Shuttle to Port Terminal is an excellent bonus for this Hotel

Way too noisy

Enjoyed it very much. All the employees were friendly and very helpful. Able to walk to several nearby restaurants. Always able to find a parking spot in the lot.

We always fall back on extended stay as it is clean, comfortable and convenient.

I called the hotel desk several times before I got to the hotel on several days trying to verifu the shuttle to the airport. When I checked into the hotel and asked what time the shuttle would be there they told me repeatedly that the driver reported to duty and 8 am and that I could get to the airport by my check in time at 8:30. Well, I get down to ck out and the shuttle was already at the cruise port and that it wouldn't be back until after awhile. So I had to go running down to the main street and hail a taxi cab and got to the airport for an international flight. Well, had it not been for the bag checker that took my bags into the ck in counter and ck in and then escorted me through customs would I have made it on my flight. Therefore, the employees at the desk are very incompetent. I stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and that it was the only one availahle on my date...never again, I will change my flights.

hotel close to all amenities, we walked everwhere once we got to the hotel example. Restaurant, wine store, shopping, bagel shop and ice cream across the street. shuttle for cruise port only 2 minutes away very convenient for travellers going to Port Everglades on a cruise.

air conditioning failed - could happen to anybody, had to happen to us. everything appears well maintained so we expect this was an unusual event. we just opened the windows and were fine. I'm sure if we had complained the hotel would have fixed it or moved us to another room. hotel convenient to large supermarkets Publix and Winn Dixie, across street from Starbucks, Pannera Bread, FedEx. walk or #40 bus to beach. hotel is near Port Everglades. coffee available from 5 a.m., laundry facilities are good. hotel is kept clean.

Let me start by saying that I work and stay in a lot of very high end hotels that I can't afford when I have to pay for them myself. Therefore, I don't write many reviews since I have gotten used to nicer rooms and my idea of a 5 score is different than it was before I got my current job. The lady at the front desk was beyond nice and polite. But from there, it went downhill. The room smelled like a dog stayed in there for a week and was bathed in the tub and allowed to jump on the beds. It was terrible. It was 1 am and I had driven for 14 hours, so I didn't ask for a new room. When I woke up, There were 4 tiny bugs crawling on the kitchen counter. I didn't see any in the beds which I immediately checked and I have heard bedbugs do not like hard wet surfaces so it may have been other bugs native to Florida. I looked up "pics of bedbugs" on the internet and they did look an awful lot like some of the ones I saw. I didn't have a microscope, so I will not say for sure that's what they were. I try to stay at hotels that have 3.5 or higher reviews. This hotel should have a 2.5 review based on my room and I would have picked a different hotel had that been the case.

Convenient location but... room wasn't clean. Tried to do laundry prior to cruise. Washer broken and counter unable to help. Change would have been nice. Said she was not trained. Believe it is a transient home for recovering individuals.

Bad all the way Around. I felt like I was back in the 1970. The only good thing about this hotel was the laundry facility on site. The rest is old and for the price there is a lot better hotel out there. I won"the be returning for sure.
