Wouldnt recommend, there was no service to the Wi-Fi, there was no phone in the room, the service in the bar/restaraunt was nil. The cleaning staff and the front desk staff were very nice. The continental breakfast was a joke, the old , smelly condition of the rooms were awful.

It's about what you'd expect for the price. The rooms and hotel itself are nothing special; serviceable, but not amazing. The people that work there are great, though. For the price it was exactly what I needed for my three night stay, and meeting the people at the bar was just an added bonus.

Went to truck race at Rockingham. Straight shot to track. Clean rooms and breakfast was great. I'll stay again

I do have to say it was one of the less expensive places around, but you get what you pay for, very few amenities - in fact, not even a telephone in the room. You can tell the place used to be very nice - a pool outdoors, sand volleyball courts, horse shoes etc. However, you can also tell that things have deteriated over time. Maybe if the economy picks up, they can refresh this into a nice place to stay.

You may not know you're at the right place when you pull up. I didn't. Neither did the person in front of me who asked to confirm. The building has no signs on it. My room (115) had all the charm of someone's partially finished basement. The walls were textured concrete w/ water stains, the floors moldy carpeting, & the beds very hard & unyielding. That night, a live band was playing in the bar, loud enough to rattle the toiletries (or the shampoo & opened bottle of lotion they provided as "toiletries") in my room. I recorded some of it as it deafened me, despite my ear plugs, until approximately 11:00 pm, when I asked to move to another room. I was moved to room 222, where the music was still clearly audible. I had to shout over the music when in the lobby to be heard by the lovely desk clerk with the neck tattoo who allowed me to relocate my stuff to the second floor, hauling everything up the stairs myself, despite being 32 weeks pregnant & exhausted. Although there was no heat in room 222, it was quieter, & the beds were more comfortable. I just piled all the covers from both beds over myself & drifted in & out of sleep. Also, the "free wifi" never worked with either my iPhone nor my laptop. There were stains on the sink & in the tub of both rooms. The shower curtain had a thick ring of black mold along the inside foot of it as well. I have quite a bit of audio/video from both of my rooms to substantiate my experience with the condition of the room & the noise level.

Joe and the staff were very helpful the entire weekend. The room had plenty of space and didn't seem crowded at all. They went out of their way to make us(myself, wife & triplet boys) feel welcomed. Our last night they had a live band by the bar area. This was a really nice way to top off our weekend stay. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to visit family in NC.

We had a great stay here. The people were amazingly friendly and helpful. The food was great. There was a live band that was good but not so loud you couldn't enjoy the peace and quiet in your room. Roaring fire welcoming you in from the cold. Just a great place to spend the night.

This hotel was great - the service was outstanding and the rooms were very nice. Our room was not only clean but was furnished as well as any 5 star hotel. The staff was amazing - willing and ready to serve any need. Additionally, the hotel has a bar/restaurant on site which was a nice amenity. Although we did not have a chance to enjoy the bar itself we did have breakfast with them and the food was amazing. The hotel offers a typical continental breakfast, but you are able to purchase a hot meal and the prices were more than reasonable. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

When checking in (late) we had to call a number on counter to get a clerk. The young man was very friendly, and only saw him (or anyone else at desk) on one other evening when he was behind counter with two young ladies. The room was very basic with adequate bed. Not great on comfort. If you need Wifi, ask before you leave front desk when checking in as there is no phone in room to call front desk and seldom anyone at front desk if you want to walk all the way back to ask. They list views of golf course, but I think that is outdated due to condos being in front of course.

The customer service at this hotel was top notch! The rooms were very clean. The only small problem we had was that this hotel is a little old. We had a few problems getting in the room because the keys would stick in the door. This really didn't have a negative effect on our trip though. When we came in there were fresh baked cookies waiting by the front desk. There is also a restaurant/bar called Bunker Jack's. This place is AMAZING!!!! We got great service and great drinks all night! I would definitely come back to this hotel.

This hotel was horrible. I had booked it for three nights, I got out of there after my first night. The hotel seemed very nice on hotels.com but when we got there it was a whole different story. The hotel was extremely outdated, the room smelled like paint, the air conditioner was too small and the room was super dirty. The front desk clerk was a very young guy who should have not been working that shift. It was really noisy by the pool, the hotel allowed a party going very late, could not sleep comfortably. On the good side the manager was kind and understanding about refunding my money. The hotel needs improvement.

We were impressed at the quality of the hotel for the value. We stopped for one night on the way to our destination. There were tons of things for our 6 & 8 year olds to do. They loved the pool, sand volleyball court, corn hole game, etc. All of the staff members were friendly and accommodating! There were some renovations being finished in the upstairs hallway, but they never interfered with our comfort. The updates throughout looked nice in our room. The bathroom/sink fixtures were still dated, but all worked. It was perfect for what we needed!

This hotel was great for the money. While there was some renovation going on at the time, it was very comfortable, clean and close to town. The check in girl was very courteous and professional. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who wants to stay somewhere nice while on a budget.

I booked deluxe double queen online and got standard regular beds instead (for 4 adults). Excuse was they didn't clean deluxe or standard queen rooms that day. Appears some renovations were going on. Furniture left a lot to be desired and needs to be improved or updated. Continental breakfast was so bad we didn't eat. Thank goodness we were only passing through for one night. I don't understand where the other good ratings came from.

We stayed here while visiting some family in Pinehurst as it was the lowest rate we could find and it was pretty conveniently located. The outdoor area is excellent. We actually had our family come hang out with us at the hotel so they could use the pool, play volleyball and enjoy the grounds. We ate at the restaurant one night and the food was excellent. The lobby and common areas are super clean. And the staff couldn't have been friendlier. We will definitely stay here again when we come to town.

We found this hotel thanks to the help of Hotels.com but never did I imagine the 5 star service we received. I've never stayed in a 5 star place, but this was what it sounds like!! The room was huge! The amenities were all there and then some and the staff was well above par! My daughter and I had the best experience with this hotel!! I highly recommend this hidden treasure to all!

This is an older hotel. The place was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for the money.

Quaint, clean little Inn. Staff very friendly. Food was delicious. Very convenient to where we needed to go. Excellent rates. We will be returning.

the hotel was a bit out of the way. but we found it clean and comportable for the price. the staff was friendly and very helpful. the building showed its age, but the rooms were clean.the beds ok. and as a plus it is located next to a golf coarse,a fair priced local coarse,with a nice layout, it just needs some attention paid to it. but at about twenty five dollars for 18 holes cart included it was hard to beat. and the hotel allowed for a later check out to accomadate our round of golf....bp

We checked in after midnight and was helped by a very friendly and expedient desk clerk, after we called the phone number listed on the desk as no one was there. Our room was ok. The mattress was probalby 20 or 30 years old as well as the furniture, although elegant, and the TV was a newer flat screen, in our room. Bathroom was nice enough. Location was extremely quiet setting on golf course. Would stay here again, especially if we have our dog with us!

i loved the feeling that i got when i entered the lobby and the fire was burning in the fireplace. the folks working there were very pleasant and helpful. it felt like "home" ' i have already recommended it to many. if i could think of any thing that would make it better, it might be the mattress..just a little uncomfy but not bad.

I was very happy with the Greenleafe Inn. The rooms were clean with Micro anf Fridge. The Lounge and Restrurant was open until 9 PM service and food good. The only problem we had and its a personal perference, Please no dogs in the restrurant. Will recommend Greenleafe Inn to friends and will stay again.

The hotel was very nice, ONCE YOU FOUND IT! I was coming in later in the evening and my GPS took me out on a dirt road. So I called the front desk, and the girl working it did not know street names, only landmarks, and the only landmark was Waste Management. I was driving up and down the hiway and she kept asking me, "Have you passed Waste Management yet?" I finally got there and was looking forward to eating at their restaurant, since this is close to NOTHING, but the cook left a little after 8:00 and the only thing the bartender knew how to make was fries and chicken wings. The rooms were comfortable, this looks like a resort property, but the fact that it was so remote makes it an undesirable destination for me on business trips.

This was not the JW Marriott, but ffor the price we paid, it was a GREAT value. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, well-supplied, and quiet. There was even a small frig and microwave, which wasn't advertized. We arrived 30 minutes before check in, and were allowed to check in early. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good night's sleep in a respectable place for a good price.

Read that all rooms had temperpedic mattresses which is not the case,however bed was comfortable.Room seemed to be clean although carpets in the hallways were a mess with numerous stains present thruout.Continental breakfast left much to be desired.Coffee was like water.

My wife and I found the Greenleafe Inn a good sleeping spot in the very expensive Pinehurst area.The room we had was somewhat spartan but clean with all the amenities like hair dryer, iron, etc. Inn has nice pool and small pub/bar with nice limited menu. Rates were reasonable and location is just minutes from Pinehurst-Southern Pines tourist area. We would stay again.

The only negative is if you arrive late there is no one on duty. I had to call the hotel several times to finally get someone to check us in. We arrived around 1:00 am. Jack on the way to MB.

Outstanding! Wonderfully helpful people; Nice hotel with a restaurant, and a bar that also fixed ice cream and smoothies for the kids. There was live music with a talented singer and guitar, real family atmosphere. and children dancing. But once you close your door …peaceful quiet restful sleep. Home away from home at a very reasonable rate too. I was delighted that a hotel that nice was at a rate I could easily afford!! I was very pleased!! And will plan to stay again and again anytime I am in the area!

great price, clean room, swimming pool, and good breakfast. we would like to stay there again if we go Pinehurst next summer.

Played golf in area, nice pool, friendly staff, AMAZING singer in the lounge on Friday night, said they had tempurpedic matteress, ours were not - bring your own pillow if you can.

Extremely friendly and informative staff. Perfect location for Pinehurst. Has a nice pool, horse shoes, volleyball, and play area. Next to a good golf course with friendly staff. Very reasonable accomadations. Look forward to returning.

It started from the beginning. We stood at the desk for ten minutes hitting the bell for service. My wife started walking around to find someone. A young lady in the bar said she would find someone. A young man showed up but was not knowledgeable enough to check us in. After he could not find out how to check us in he called on his cell phone. Several minutes later another man showed up and checked us in. The room had an odd order to it. It was advertised as a king temperpedic, well it was a King size bed at least. The carpeting was indoor/outdoor carpeting over concrete with no padding. In the room we had a choice two of the following, a refrigerator (a +),the TV (small), a floor lamp (one of the two lamps in the room), or the microwave. The other lamp shares the outlet with the alarm clock which is good since there is no phone in the room. The bathroom door was so severely warped (maybe it was the jam) that it would not close. There was a door to the room next door that led into the bathroom next door. We could see the comings and goings of the people next door though the gaps around the door. The air conditioner need some work since the fan controls do not work and it is noisy. We were told that breakfast was at 7am. We got up for it and found the lights still off, 4 foam plates, no napkins and coffee that was basically colored water. After looking around we found the switch so we could eat with lights. I tried to get a shower but the hot water only got to room temperature. This room was listed as a Premium King room. When it was time to check out I left the key on the desk since there was no one present, just a sign that said to call a number. A woman was cleaning in the lobby said she did not know where they were but they were at least 5 minutes away. I can say that it was in a pretty area and very far away from any traffic.

First of all, let me say the staff was very friendly, helping with our bags when arriving. The room was clean,but...the window curtains would not/could not close completely, hot water was non-existent, and the continental breakfast supposedly provided was almost non-existent. I am glad we brought our on food for that day.

Like others, I was skeptical since it was the price of a Motel 6. But upon entering, I quickly understood why. It is an older hotel, does not have an elevator or a modern look, but it is a pretty nice place. Our room was quite clean and well furnished. (We stayed in a Premium King). The bed may be uncomfortable for some, but was nearly perfect for both myself and my wife. If you're wondering why it's so cheap, it's not because it's a bad place, just that it's older and hasn't been generally updated in awhile. But the people seemed nice, and for a one night stay through town, it was perfect!

This hotel has potential, but unfortunately nothing has been done to it since the 80's. Caddyshack anyone? Our room felt totally dirty. The staff was friendly but it just didn't make up for the sad state of the whole building. If there was a 'hotel nightmares' TV show, this place would be the first episode.

We stayed for one night. It was fine for that. The room was clean. It's an older hotel. The free breakfast was cereal, bagels, and waffles. There was milk and oj in the fridge but syrup was no where to be found and no one at the desk to ask. Overall it was just okay.

This hotel is a steal for the price. I was a little skeptical because I got this room so cheap but after arriving I was pleasantly surprised. The room I had was located on the second floor which did make things a little difficult when carrying the luggage due to no elevators. I would recommend requesting the bottom floor if you have small children or a lot of luggage. After entering the room, it was quite spacious as it contained two queen size beds, a small table w/ two chairs, a armoire with a tv, a medium sized fridge, a bathroom w/ tub and mirror, the bathroom had a heat switch, and it also had an extra vanity with mirror and sink outside of the bathroom. Additionally, it contained an ironing board, iron, and place to hang your clothes. There was no phone in the room but I had a cell phone so it wasn't a problem. The room had a great view of the golf course, outdoor pool that was open in March, and playground. That night I went down to the bar and had some super cheap drinks such as shots of Patron for only $3.00 and martinis for $3.00 as well. The continental breakfast in the morning consisted of fruit, oatmeal,cereal bagels, and homemade waffles you make yourself. It was pretty good but I did have to ask them to restock several things multiple times. They have an outside patio by the bar that you can go have drinks and smoke on which is nice. The location is about 10 miles out of the way but there is a little store a couple miles down the street called the "Quick Pik" that has great fried chicken and potato wedges. It is a little out of the way but it is well worth driving because of the awesome price. Perfect place to getaway for the weekend or to even stay a week. I will be going back again next time I am visiting family.

Travel was for 10 days over holidays and maid service was missing on most days. Several times the desk manager had to make our room up on request. Otherwise room was large for what we paid and conveniently located to an on-site golf course and surrounding attractions. Except for the spotty maid service (holidays, some bad weather, etc) the stay was a decent value.
