We really enjoyed our time here. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the breakfast was nice even though it was basic. the beds were comfy. room was clean and bathroom was clean too. we could pretty much walk to all our destinations within 10 minutes from the hotel. lovely quiet hotel.

Stay 07-09 April 2012 Hotel Edouard VII is a beautiful old historic home which has been stylishly converted into a warm and welcoming guest house. The entrance, dinning room and lounge room are decorated in a particularly elegant and vogue way. The rooms are simple; with particularly small beds however it was comfortable. The breakfast was enjoyable however it is just as easy to walk into town and order something more exciting from a local café. The location was excellent for what we were after. We spent most of the time around the market square enjoying the local food. We did not swim/surf so were not bothered that the hotel was not right on the water. Highly recommend Café Jean around the market square for a light lunch; the salads were brilliant and a nice change from the heavier food we had been consuming. Also we thoroughly enjoyed a 6 course degustation at Chez Ospi.

Although the beds were a tad on the hard side (we stayed twice, in different rooms), we were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished and there's a lovely outside terrace where we sat and ate breakfast. The breakfast was continental (croissants, bread, cheese, ham, marmalade, etc.,) and plentiful. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. The location is great, it's only a short walk to the sea at the end of the road and then you can walk down the hill to the nearest beach. We would definitely stay here again.

My Mother and I travelled to Biarritz earlier week, Mid May - The Weather was devine, not to many tourists but enough to make the place enjoyable. The Hotel was so wonderful, everything we could of asked for. Delightful breakfast charged extra at 10 euro but worth it, sittting on the gorgeous sunny balcony enjoying the breakfast was great, the rooms had lovely modern but keeping in the French Traditional decor, Great Bathrooms, VERY clean hotel and rooms, nice lovely touches everywhere. The staff were so helpful, they also suggested a fabulous local restaurant, the name at this time i have completely forgotten!..the food there was the best ive tasted in a long time, and great service! I would absolutely suggest this hotel, make sure you ask them about the local restaurant...its worth it!...the hotel also upgraded us, we really appreciated that. Location, the hotel is less than 5 min walk to the beach but out of the tourist trap, which is relaxing at the end of a busy day - we will absolutely be back! loved every minute of it!!

Close to everything. Loved the character of the hotel. The staff was great. Breakfast was great. Highly recommend this place. We were only here for one night on our way to Spain. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Had a nice few days in Hotel Edouard in Biarritz. Hotel is nice and quiet, staff are very nice and are there to help. The hotel is only a short walk to anywhere in Biarritz. Biarrtiz is a nice cool place to spend a long weekend. Big enough not to get bored and small enough not to get lost or overwhelmed.

Very nice hotel, run by friendly and helpful people. Nice rooms - modern, clean but also homely. Good location for connection to airport / trains by bus and close to the beach (max 5 mins walk). Would definitely recommend it for long weekend or even slightly longer break.

Good service, very helpfull staff. Modern bathroom and hotel far better than other hotels in the same area for similar prices. Difficult to find parking anywhere in Biarritz (hotel with parking would help). If you are to arrive past 10pm, call in advance.

L'hôtel Edouard VII a un charme certain. L'ambiance régnant dans l'hotel est chaleureuse et élégante. Notre chambre était en parquet, avait une vue sur l'océan, et une grande salle de bain avec baignoire. L'hotel est bien insonorisé, confortable, et le petit déjeuner copieux et très raffiné. Le service est sobre et distingué. Tout juste ce qu'on peut attendre d'un hotel 3 étoiles situé a une centaine de mètres du rocher de la vierge, l'un des très beaux lieux de biarirtz..

Alles war sehr gut, außer dass die Bettbwäsche stark parfümiert waren, was für mich als Allergiker ziemlich unangenehm war. Wie wir alle wissen, nehmen Allergien zu. Deshalb, am besten neutrales Waschmittel benutzen (wie die meisten großen Hotelketten).

très joli petit hôtel, idéalement situé dans un quartier tranquille (quand il n'y a pas de travaux dans la même rue, mais ce désagrément n'a rien à voir avec l'hôtel lui-même). Moins de 10 minutes à pieds suffisent pour se rendre à la Grande plage ! L'accueil est chaleureux, la déco raffinée et le personnel très sympathique. Seul bémol, les chambres en sous-sol sont exigües et sombres.

Bel hotel trés bien entretenu et bien situé dans Biarritz ,le petit déjeuner est moyen et la literie trop ferme pour les dos fragiles...

Charmant petit hôtel, confortable, bien situé avec un bon accueil en prime. A recommander !

Excellent séjour, chambre sous les combles très jolie et très propre. Seul bémol:toute petite fenêtre, il fallait monter sur une chaise pour apprécier la magnifique vue. Très satisfaits néanmoins, l'hôtel se trouve dans un quartier très joli, juste au-dessus de la plage.

hotel très classe avec de très bonnes prestations , personnel très agréable
