Rent-a-Room Hong Kong - كولو

A little disappointed with room and bed. I booked a single room with 2 double beds. The bed is like a big single bed not a double bed. The width of the bed is exactly the length of two pillows side by side no additional space . No space to turn about. There is no signboard showing Rent a Room Hotel . Surrounding neighborhood is good very near to all the popular shopping.

Very clean and affordable room. Not very spacious and the air conditioning was rather loud, but it is in a very convenient location (even though the hotel itself is rather difficult to find). Very easy access to the metro system and Hong Kong Island as a result. Definitely a good option for budget travellers or short term single or coupled tourists.

This place has no lobby. Room is very dirty and very small. Has no bell boy. 4 taxies doesn't understand the address. 30 minutes walking to tsim sha tsui.

Below average everything, small room, small bed, small washroom, hot water last for 5min, no soap or shampoo, inroom safe did not work, internet was slow...

First, this place is in an apartment complex. If your taxi driver is confused about the location just say you need to go to the Prudential Hotel, Rent a Room Hong Kong is just a short walk down the street. Second, this is a bed in a clean place, nothing more. Good for a night while in transit or something. But it is in a good neighborhood with lots around and very convenient to public transportation.

Very good location near Jordan station (couple of minutes walk). Small rooms that used to be flats. A bit hard to find because there are no big signs and it is located in an apartment building. Staff was friendly and service good. Rooms were tidy altough compact. The bathroom was very small no room to shower. The shower head was located on top of the toilet seat. When you took a shower the whole wc got wet.

It's a little bit difficult to find but very convenient place. Just less than a min walking to look for food and 7-Eleven, and less than 5 mins walking to MRT station.

Unless you are in a bind, I don't recommend this hostel. Small rooms (HKG standards), unless one wanted to pay outreageious amount of $$ for a bed and a shower! Extremely hard mattress, thin walls and even though smoking is prohibited, there were still smokers and on my floor and the smoke, needless to say, permeates the walls and into my room. I was moved to the 8th floor where the monthly rental rooms were and that seemed to take care of the problem. The "sewage" smell though was still very strong in the bathroom and I had to turn the bathroom exhaust fan on at all times when I was in the room. There was also a strong smell of mold in the room. Actually saw mold growing in the corners where walls joined The staff was very friendly, helpful and did their best to provide good service. WIFI didn't work in my room so had to take my laptop to the office to use it; which totally defeated the entire purpose of taking the computer with me during this trip. I thought I'd have the comfort of using the Internet in the comfort of my room. Location was good. MTR was just across the street. Restaurants abound. Close to all types of shopping, both on Nathan Road and Jordan Road. Overall, this would be OK if you are in a bind and stay just a few nights; otherwise I suggest other locations. The nightly rate at "high season" was definitely not cheap but the value is not there.

The taxi driver took me to my hotel street, but I have to walk a few meters. I had no problem finding the address altho the place is kinda tuck away. The hotel staff was gracious, and my room was very clean; really tiny. But I had a window, full bed, TV, fridge, AC, safe, elect. hot pot, hair dryer, hot shower. I was alone so it was OK. On my return to the airport, the staff showed me how to get to the nearby bus stop where I got on a direct bus to the airport. I didn't have to ride the train and it cost me less than half of the train fare. Great location in Kowloon.

This is an affordable and good location hotel. Convenience and clean. The staffs are very friendly. Very satisfied for what I pay for it. I will stay there again!

I was very surprised to find this place. It is entirely misrepresented- these are Hong Kong apartments and not a hotel: The name should reflect that as "Rent A Room" sounds kind of dubious. It could be something like "Kowloon Apartment Hotel". It is tricky to find but the street is very short so just remember the address and once you enter the portal someone will guide you to the door. The staff was exceptionally nice and even the local residents were very kind and interesting. The room was spotless and considering that you are standing on some of the most valuable real estate on the planet it is an outstanding deal. Everything, and I mean everything is close by. This will always be my first choice in Hong Kong. If your plane is arriving late that may be a problem so best to check ahead of time for that situation. This was actually one of the best experiences of a long trip because you are dealing with a family business and they intend to treat everyone well.

This is basically a flat / apartment converted. It is in the prime location in Hong Kong. Unless, for Business Purpose you have to stay in this location, it is no advisable. Room is too small and there are not much amenities.

I booked a room at short notice via hotels.com during an emergency detour to HK to get a Chinese visa. The place is a little difficult to find (look for the "Knight" building which does have the correct road number on it) however the reception is well staffed and talked me in. My single room was incredibly clean, had working wifi, a heater for winter (and drying clothes), kettle. For the price in Kowloon, can't complain. I ended up booking a second room whilst waiting for my visa to come thru which was a little cheaper to book online than on site but still reasonable for a double room due to availability.

Great location in Kowloon. 1 block to metro, airport shuttle bus, and nearby restraunts. This was a great neighborhood for shopping too. I would stay here again. If you are looking for a spacious room this may not be the place for you, it is very small but it's safe and clean and near all the action.

I do not feel I received my moneys worth in comfort room was somewhat isolated and very small bed was uncomfortable. I may be a little reluctant to recommend to a friend without explaining the conditions there.

Paul went out of his way to make sure that i was comfortable. Although the room was small, it was managable for a couple of days before my trip to Taiiwan. The location is on a side street. I felt safe walking by myself. It was close to everthing. I would stay their again.

First time traveling to Hong Kong and I didn't have much to spend on hotel. Decided to give this hotel a shot but will NEVER go back again. If you want to be in Federal Prison for a few days, go ahead and stay here. I have to admit that the room I stayed in was clean, but so is the Federal Prison. The air condition was dripping water over my pillow and the bathroom is literally a hole in the wall. DO NOT recommend this to any one, save a bit more money and stay in the Eaton or Nathan Hotel.

My friend and I needed a place to sleep for cheap. This was PERFECT! Near a 7/11 to get little things and about 2 min away from the MTR Station. People were really nice and the location was perfect. If I go back to Hong Kong, I will def. stay there.

This place being called a hotel is kind of a stretch, because I would most likely refer to it as a guesthouse. The rooms are small, simple, and mine had the combo bathroom/shower with a small water heater mounted to the wall. The water heater will only last you about 5 minutes, so I recommend wetting yourself, turning it off, washing your hair, rinsing it, turning it off, etc. etc. Honestly this place is nothing special, but hotels in Hong Kong are ridiculously expensive and this place is super reasonable. You get a bed, fridge, cute little TV, table, chair, and that's it. Nearby is a 7-11, some restaurants, and Nathan street which is one of the busiest drags in Hong Kong. If you plan on only spending a few hours a day and sleeping here, it's the right place and in the perfect location. If you want to lounge in style and not leave your room for a week, spend 700 dollars a night and stay in the Peninsula or the Westin. You will get lost finding this place, but you'll honestly get lost trying to find anything in Hong Kong. When you find Tak Hing street, look for the alley that's labeled "Knight Gardens" and walk in, up the stairs, and ask the security guard in the little house there where the lobby is. Staff was very friendly to me and there's computers in the lobby use since they don't have wifi in the rooms. They also have wifi in the lobby so you can bring your laptop in and use it. If you're in Hong Kong, I also recommend buying an Octopus card. It's their transit card that can also be used as a pre-paid debit card at many shops, newsstands, and 7-11s. You can buy one at any transit station and also recharge it there. When you're done with your visit, you get all your money back minus $7HKD. Best idea ever.

(1) Poor maintenance of water heater in Block D Room No. 104), water laekage caused annoying noise. unable to sleep. (2) Bath towel never changed daily after use. (3) General cleaning standard poor, layer of dust are found in telephone handset and inside wardrobe. (4) No cover proveded for cups. (5) I left my black colour PUMA umbrella when I check-out, no feedback from hotel. (6) I left on 7:30am on 7/11/2010, operator was reluctant to be waked up by my repeated door bell alarm. Her faceial expression complained that I woke her up.

Very convenient location - about 1 min. walk from MTR Jordan station and 5 min. walk from Temple St. Night Market. Single rooms are very cozy and clean, just enough to park for the night and sleep. Can only recommend if you're very tight on budget or don't mind this type of arrangement. Suggest checking and contacting other budget hotels in Yau Ma Tei area - cost will be approx. 25% more per night, but you will get much more room and "livability." Or if budget constrains, there are other guesthouses in the same neighborhood with similar single rooms of the same size, amenities, comforts, etc. It's a case of buyer beware.

Sangen hyvä hotelli kaikenkaikkiaan. Todella edullinen verrattuna muihin. Pieni ja vaatimaton huone, mutta perustarpeet kuten tallelokero ja telkkari löytyy. Jordan- metroasemalla vain kivenheitto. Ei ehkäpä hienohelmoille, vaikkakin ihan siisti.

確かに場所は分かりにくい。建物自体はホテルではなくアパートだから。でも有線・無線LANが使えたし、自室セーフティーボックス・歯ブラシ・シャンプーはあったしで、思ったより設備はOK。内装も比較的最近手を入れたようで、新しかった。ドミはいやだけど安い宿がいい！て人にオススメ。

Not value for money

I was totally trapped by the photos, when I found the place, the location is bad, it is not a hotel, like hostel, but even worser. The quality is really bad, the room is tiny, dirty, dark, old, suck toilet, TV is old version. The whole feeling is very bad, even I rent a motel in kowloon tong is much better than this one. If u dont wanna be angry as me, dont try it.

홍콩에 주말휴식차 들른 거라 주요시설 근처에서 자리잡길 바랬는데, 그점에서는 OK. 호텔이 아니라 여관정도 생각하면 되는듯 하고, 주인장은 너무나도 친절한 분이셨고, 정돈상태는 깔끔, 방은 정말정말 조그만 쪽방. 성수기라 방이 없어 고르긴 했으나, 비수기라면 돈 몇만원 더주고 앞쪽에 BP에 자리잡는 편이 현명할듯

단점 낮은 청결도_거미발견 전체적인 서비스 저하 가격 대비 너무 좁은 방 장점 어차피 몇일만 머무를곳이니 싼 맛에 이용

일단 호텔 찾기 어렵습니다. 간판도 제대로 나와있지 않고 주변인들이 알고 있는 이름도 다른것 같습니다. 해서 전화를 해서 물어보는 방법이 제일 좋습니다. 근처까지 도착한 후 통화한 끝에 아저씨께서 데릴러 나오셨습니다 ㅋㅋ 생각보다 깔끔하고 친절함에 가격대비 좋단 생각이 듭니다. 저렴한 여행이 필요하신 분들에게 강추합니다. 최고 강점은 번화가와 매우 근접해있다는 사실입니다. 조단역과 매우 가깝습니다. B번출구로 나와 쇼핑몰 뒷쪽으로 나간다면 바로 그곳. 입니다. 조단역은 침사추이에서도 몽콕에서도 매우 가까우며 버스로도 이용 가능한 쉬운 노선입니다. 전 스트리트 마켓을 구경하며 걸어다니기도 했습니다. 체크아웃후에도 집을 맡겨둔 후 번화가 구경 가능하구효 전 충전기를 놓고 왔다 몇일 뒤 찾으러 갔는데 매우 안전하게 보관해주셨습니다.

宿代の高い香港においてこの価格は魅力的です。 部屋も必要最低限のものは揃っており、問題ありません。 ロケーションも地下鉄の出口まで二分と最高です。 ただし、入り口が分かりにく過ぎます。 一般の集合住宅に入って行って、一般の部屋をノックすることになります。 もう少し看板出すとかしてほしかった。

침사추이랑 무지 가깝고(걸어서 약 10분) 교통편도 잘되있어서 잘 돌아다녔네요 우리나라의 모텔?같은 느낌인데 위치가 너무 좋아서 잠만 자는 데는 매우 편했음 한국인들이 많이 이용하는지 아저씨도 재밌고 밖에 다녀오면 청소도 되있고 전반적으로 만족

空港へのバス停にも近く、地下鉄の駅にも近く、周囲にレストランやコンビニもあり、非常に良いロケーションです。 セキュリティも十分です。 安いので、いいのではないでしょうか？ 見つけるのが少し大変でした。
