Hotel Macia Plaza - غرناطة

This hotel is in a perfect location. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. It is close to the cathedral, alhambra, restaurants and shopping. The reception staff was very helpful and friendly. The room has a modern style. The bed was comfortable and the room was a nice size. The bathroom was very clean and modern. My only small complaint was our window was very small and I don't think it actually had access to the outside. This just made it hard to wake up, being jet- lagged. I would100% recommend this hotel because of the location and value . Granada is a beautiful city and this hotel is right in the center!

The Macia Plaza is on Plaza Nueva opposite the road up to the Alhambra, a 20minute walk uphill. The circular bus stop is in the plaza too if you do not want to walk. The location is great for the main shopping streets,the Cathedral and the bars and restaurants of the Albycin The rooms are clean,modern and comfortable though the front rooms overlooking the plaza may be a bit noisy in high summer. The continental breakfast is adequate. We came from the bus station in a taxi which took 10 minutes and cost 8euros

i was supposed to visit alhambra palace early in the morning. hotel was really closed to the bus stop for alhambra and lots of bars and restaurants were near hotel. Price was really reasonable. It was clean , comfortable and staff was really kind. I strongly recommend you staying here!

We stayed in 4 Spanish cities over a week and a half, and this hotel was by far the easiest check-in/check-out, clean, spacious, and close to all the sites of Granada. Excellent food and desserts a few steps away!

The staff was friendly and attentive for all 4 days. price was right, location was perfect, hotel feels well-kept and well-run, well-lighted and well-staffed.

Excellent small and friendly hotel. Situated on Plaza Nueva under the Alhambra and easy walking to lots of cafes, bars and restaurants. Great value and great location. Free wi-fi in room.

We had a great stay at Macia Plaza. There are two Macia hotels in Granada, the Plaza is located on the Plaza Nueva, completely central, between Albayzin and the Alhambra.

This hotel is very centrally located and close walking distance to the Alhambra which are great pluses! If you are driving, be aware that getting to it is very difficult.

Hotel is centrally located, walking distance from shops, banks and restaurants. Bus stop to the Alhambra is right in front of the hotel. The hotel is small but centrally located. Breakfast has included in the rate and was good. Out shower and sink were clogged. We notified the front desk and believe they were going to take care of it. If you are looking for an affordable hotel, that is centrally located, the Macia Plaza is it.

Good value. Good rooms. Enjoyed the hotel.

If the Alhambra is the reason you've come to Granada, then this hotel is the spot for you as it is literally at the foot of the pathway leading to the site. (The only better situated hotel would be the Parador San Francisco at the Alhambra Itself!)The hotel sits on a plaza with touristy restaurants which we avoided in favor of a short walk along the river to the Moorish quarter where there are infinitely more atmospheric bars and cafes. The square is also quite handy as there are always taxis parked there if you need one. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and faced away from the square which we thought would be quite noisy given all the late night activities. The continental breakfast was adequate, nothing special, and it costs extra. Lockbox is at the lobby instead of your room, but you get to keep the key during your entire stay. There is wi-fi but I was told that it didn't work with iPads, which I thought was hilarious. They do have a communal computer in the breakfast room if you need one. It's not a memorable hotel - but then again, you're here for the Alhambra, right?

if you are only visiting granada for a short time, you should stay here. it allows you to get to the alhambra in a short amount of time. this was my second time staying here, i would stay again. they also have a nice free breakfast.

great location and friendly service. My only complaint was a strong perfume they sprayed in the room before our arrival, but this subsided after a day. Ask for an interior room and you will have a very quiet sleep.

Hotel in front of plaza in town. Lots of activity. Close to bus stops for sightseeing. Ten minute bus to train station. Good price.

My favorite thing about this hotel is it was close to the action we wanted to see. Directly outside is a lively area of patios and a fountain. I loved the hustle and bustle right outside our door. It's just a hop away from the Tourist Information center and a wonderful travel agency. It is also directly across from a beautiful walk up to the Alhambra. We went to the Alhambra at night and getting back to the hotel was easy; we didn't even need to take a bus. We also had some good "local" meals really close to the hotel since a lot of locals work across the street. Meaning, it was easy to avoid the tourist trap tapas places, which are few in Granada. This hotel is also close to a major street, Gran Via, which is handy for shopping and buses. Breakfast is lovely and there are good options at the buffet. They also have a computer in the breakfast room which is free for checking email and such. We have only nice things to say about this hotel. Really, for our agenda, there were no negatives to note; we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Macia Plaza.

The Macia Plaza is centrally located in Granada, with walking access to the cathedral (2 blocks), and to the Alhambra (15 minutes up hill, or a 4 Euro cab ride). The rooms we had were comfortable, but rather dark and cave like (somewhat small also), with only a small window into an interior shaft between rooms. Unfortunately, we arrived by rental car, and the Macia Plaza is on Plaza Nueva, smack in the middle of one of the posted zones in the city that don't allow you to drive in unless you are a bus or a taxi (they take pictures of your license plate and send the bill to your rental car company). With about 15 minutes of zig zag driving on narrow streets we arrived at a parking garage about 4 blocks from the hotel (the closest one). It costs 25 euro per day.

This hotel was great, and wonderful value for the money. Its location is also fantastic. But it is VERY hard to get there with a car and/or to find parking. The hotel staff was NOT helfpul in warning us about what do to with the car, and we ended up driving for an extra 45 minutes, and then driving around for another 1/2 hour trying to find parking (even though they claimed to have a deal with a local garage). But if you get to Granada by some other form of transportation, the hotel is a great bargain.

We stayed here 2 nights and were really pleased with the location. The hotel is close to the bus stop, so we rode the bus to the Alhambra instead of taking a long walk uphill. We enjoyed the free wifi that the hotel offered. We parked our rental car in a garage that was walking distance to the hotel. I'm not sure where/ if the hotel has parking, but it was difficult to drive to the hotel to ask ahead of time. The street that the hotel is on is camera-monitored and vehicles other than busses and taxis (and authorized vehicles) aren't allowed. I wish I would have emailed them ahead of time to ask about the parking situation. My only other complaint was that our first floor room was a bit noisy at night when people returned late. We were at the end of the hall on the first floor and I heard 4 or 5 groups come in. The door didn't have a good seal around it and we could occasionally smell cigarette smoke from other rooms/ the hallway. As far as food goes, Granada was really affordable. We avoided the touristy places in front of the hotel and ate at the bars that are on the side streets that are to the right of the hotel when you come out. A glass of beer or wine was about 1.25 euros and came with a free tapas. My husband and I ate a meal for under 10 euros.

The hotel is in an excellent location and very clean. The staff is exceptional friendly and try to keep you satisfied. Great breakfast for the price. The room was very small but comfortable.

Location is great. One reception person very helpful and friendly. Curteous guests so we were not disturbed by others. Design of hotel rooms has significant drawbacks. Beds seem to be only foam pads and pillows are cheap. Glass bathroom near bed limits occupancy to intimate friends. In-room laptop convenient. Shower only that has larger than expected drop down to a slick tile floor (bad design). Second night of air conditioning wasn't the same as first night.

Excellent value for money. Superb position .Would advise to eat in many of the restaurants nearby. Would certainly stay there again.

We stayed at the Hotel Macia Plaza in Granada for two nights. The price was incredibly reasonable, less than half what similar accommodations cost us in Barcelona or Madrid. The location was right on the Plaza Nueva, great for walking around Granada and very close to the buses to the Alhambra. The room was small but very usable, a charming mix of traditional and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. The TV didn't have any English options, but that was fine. The free wi-fi was very good, best connection my iPhone had in Spain. Skype calls were perfect. Our room was quiet except for the noise from guests in the lobby and halls. The stairs and halls have marble floors so the sound really traveled. But this was only an issue in the early evening and didn't affect our sleep. I definitely stay there again.

Hotel bien situé Étroitesse de la salle de bain Wi fi non fonctionnel dans notre chambre Mais dispo au lobby

2011年11月に2泊しました。ヌエバ広場に面していて、非常に便利な場所にあります。1階の窓とは言えない窓のある部屋でしたが、部屋は広く、天井も高く、暗い感じはするものの、快適でした。

Muy buena ubicación, en pleno centro, las habitaciones muy limpias y la cama muy cómoda.

Kan anbefales hvis man vil have et billigt ophold midt i byen. Det værelse vi boede var meget mørkt og havde kun vinduer ud til en skakt.

Only 5-10 minutes walk to most of the key tourist sites, e.g. Alhambra & Cathedral, etc. Highly recommended!

La ubicación es inmejorable, el personal es muy profesional y la relación calidad-precio difícilmente se podría mejorar. La limpieza de las instalaciones es destacable. La única pega es que carecen de parking propio. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo.

お部屋は少しせまいですが、料金立地を考えるととても良いホテルです。アルハンブラバスの乗場やカセドラルのバス停からも近く便利です。内装も新しくとても気持ちよく過ごせます。窓からアルハンブラ宮殿の城壁が見る事ができます。フラメンコ見学後24時でもフロントが対応しており不安なく帰れます。チェックアウト後の荷物の預かりも気持ちよく引き受けてくれます。とても感じの良いフロントの方達でした。

Excellent location, comfortable but tiny room, no mini-bar. Nice staff and decent breakfast (EUR 7). Very good value! Free internet availabe in the rooms.

内装は新しく清潔感がありました。バスタブもあり疲れも取れました。部屋は少々狭いですが問題は全くありません。
