Holiday Inn Express Brooklyn - بروكلين

Ice cold showers every morning were horrible. Was told that hotel water heaters just couldn't handle it when hotel is full. Very disappointing, especially considering how much it costs to stay there!

Very nice staff, close to subway and walking distance to many shops and restaraunts. Have stayed there twice and would go back again.

This was a nice hotel in an okay neighborhood. Comfy room, nice staff, but if your not familiar with Brooklyn this could seem as a sketchy neighborhood. Having lived in Brooklyn before, I know it is right around the corner from the best of Brooklyn eating and parks. Very close to subway too!

the hotel was lacking in one thing it did not have lunch or dinner only breakfast which made it a bit hard as i travel bye my self and as i have not been to New york before a say the best thing to do is to stay in New York city at first and then go out to the out hotels i will be staying closer to the city next time i go

We have stayed at this hotel many times and have always found it quite satisfactory. Very central location in Brooklyn, though the immediate neighbourhood isn't great. It is severely "under-elevatored," but not much can be done about that. No doubt that we'll stay there again.

nice place ... it doesnt tget much better as a hotel , its not a luxury hotel its a hotel

This hotel was very convieint to the shops and restaurants on 5th street and to subway station. Elevators took a long time temperature in room was hard to control would get really hot than really cold

Wonderful big breakfast.

This is a convenient hotel located in park slope. You are not paying for quality by any means, strictly for location. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, when i checked in they gave me a room on 1st floor, which is located one floor down frm the lobby, ie their basement. The room was dark and I think I was the only guest on that floor. I asked to be moved and was given 6th floor with 2 double beds for my husband and I. Room was simple, do not have high expectations. The parking lot was full so i parked in the street for free. I only needed the hotel for a place to crash at night as I was gone the entire day. Don't think the prices are worth it at all!

We booked our room and paid for an extra person for a room with 2 double beds. When we reached the hotel we were told that they were sold out of double rooms and that we had a room with a queen bed. Well, we had 3 adults! They were out of cots/rollaway beds and we were told that they could provide us with extra blankets. That never happened but thank goodness I brought my own comfroter and sheets. So 1 person had to sleep in a chair. The location and surrounding area was great! The front desk staff was kind (even though she had given our room away), the breakfast was great, staff friendly...parking was great as well...(it is a small lot as one reviewer stated )

Rooms are very small! Elevator is very slow and broke down while we were there. The rooms were clean and the front desk workers were very helpful with any questions we had about the subway and going into Manhatten. They charge for you to park and add a tax on top of the fee! We wound up paying over a hundred dollars just for our car to sit in the parking lot for 4 days! We would recommend this hotel as long as you know you will have the cost of parking and are dealing with a elevator that may break down and you have to climb 8 floors of stairs after spending a long day in the city!

This is probably my worst hotel experience ever, if I compare the money spend with the room I got. I booked one room with two double beds for my family for my last day of vacation. Hotels in New York are pricey and the Holiday Inn Express in Brooklyn is no exception. However I did not know, that my room was located in the cellar with a small window just under the roof. Well, I didn't rent the room for the view, but the room was also very small and not very comfortable. I was tired after a long journey and it was the last day of my vacation, so I didn't complain. But I had expected more from a chain like Holiday Inn and I will take that into consideration, the next time I book a hotel. However this hotel had a nice service: I payed extra to park my car on their parking space, but they allowed my to leave the car there for 8 hours after I checked out. Only bad thing was, that it was not a garage and everyone had access to the parking spot from the surrounding streets.

This hotel is in an amazing location central to shopping and tond of restaurants. 2 blocks to the subway and very quiet neighbourhood. I would highly recommend this hotle to visitors.

Brooklyn is a great place to stay but others tend to overplay the neighbor that this hotel is located. I found it convenient and friendly. Just a short walk brings you to some wonderful restaurants and the subway is just a few steps from the hotel itself. Hotel staff is ready and able to help you with directions and suggestions for meals and site-seeing. It was a very hot day when we were there and I thought the cooling in the room could have been better but it wasn't uncomfortable. The fridge and microwave in the room was a nice surprise and very handy for cold drinks. I would definitely stay there again.

Staff friendly, hotel convenient to family members, but asked for a quiet room and had to listen to street noise, auto repair, african drumming. In room, door to hall let in light as well as sound, had squeaky barhroom door, . Heat-airconditioning unit out of control and no instructions. Otherwise, fine.

I'm extremely irritated with this hotel. I fell and was injured, I obtained a doctor's letter saying that I was unable to travel to NY, I cancelled way before 24 hours, and I ran up against a brick wall and am unable to get a refund. This is bad business and I would never stay in a Holiday Express again and I would never recommend it to anyone. This is shameful.

Hotel is located very close to the subway station but still in the middle of an industrial area, with a good walk to any good eating place. The comfort of the room is standard for all Holiday Inn Express hotels, but with two noticeable drawbacks: (i) windows are thin and the cacophony of police sirens, car honking and car alarms keep you up at night, and (ii) the wated turns lukewarm one minute into your shower. Breakfast is non-remarkable, with some items run out way before 10am. Too expensive for this kind of room/service/location combination. Can be an ok stay for a night if you are pressed - but you should pack ear plugs and not expect much.

Overall, I thought this hotel was good. It is centrally located in Brooklyn walking distance to shops and restaurants . Felt fairly safe walking during the day, but at night, you should take a cab to get around. Near a subway stop, so that was good. Room clean, small, but adequate. Continental breakfast was very good. would definitely return to this hotel when visiting Brooklyn.

the hotel was sold out so we got the runt of the litter. The room had an ice machine outside its door that sounded like a 747. The bathroom light did not work. A lamp in the room was missing a bulb. The bed had no pillowcases. There were no towels. Maintenance had to turn the switch on the heater. There was no ice bucket in the room. To the staff's credit they responded promptly and politely to all of our complaints. We did end up with another, more functional room. And we thank them for that. Holiday has to make sure all of its rooms are ready.

Not the worst hotel but very disappointing nevertheless - the hotel had no towels on arrival at 3pm - at 6:30pm I was told they still had no towels - went out on town without shower and returned at 1am - still no towels - this is no way to run a hotel - darn it go out and buy some if your delivery is held up - for what I paid for a night they could have bought me a cheap towel and still have plenty over for all their other costs - not acceptable. The staff were apologetic but couldn't help - I took a sheet from one of the carts so I could shower - camping is more fun!!!!

The single elevator was slow and hard to access. We were on the 6th floor and mostly walked the flights to avoid delay. Other than that, everything was very satisfactory.

This hotel was very nice. It was clean and the people were friendly. The room was small but comfortable. The breakfast was awesome. Very organized and clean. Overall it was a nice hotel but the parking was terrible. The lot is very small and not secure at all. I spent a lot of time checking on my car.I would stay again but I would have to pay for parking somewhere.

As an Express hotel, this hotel exceeded all my expectations, clean, fast, more that decent free breakfast. But the parking... The parking experience was terrible. They charge me USD 25 per day, but even paying I had to clean my own parking spot of snow. Nobody pays to shovel snow! Also, I found that someone try to open the gas door. So, the hotel was great but the parking place and the service into the parking does not.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Close to mass transit. Comfortable rooms. Loved stay despite drama of snowstorm. Recommend to others.

Me and 3 friends stayed at this hotel, as we wanted to be close to a venue which was only 2 blocks from its location. Staff was very friendly, room was clean, and the two beds were comfy. Room was small, but that was expected. Free wireless internet worked great! The neighborhood is a bit rugged, but felt safe and it was only a 10 minute walk to a nicer area. The hotel is only one block from the subway station which was very convenient for going into Manhattan.

The hotel was clean and quiet. The bathroom was all granite and beautiful. The room was large with a hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. Free continental breakfast was served. Front desk personnel were friendly and available. I definitely will stay there again.

This hotel provided what I needed: location, cleanliness, and simplicity.

This hotel is in an industrial area. Car repair shops next door and across street. Empty lot with razor wire 1/2 block down. Area gets nicer about 10 minute walk away toward 5th avenue. All that being said, most frustrating for me was getting a really smoky room when I had reserved a non-smoking room.

After reading reviews, I was a little nervous about this Holiday Inn. Upon arrival however, we found the hotel and staff to be very accommodating and comfortable. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff warm and helpful. Who could ask for more? It was very close to Park Slope restaurants and the subway was a 1/2 block away. Who could ask for more?

Do not stay at this hotel. The service was very unhelpful and very unfriendly. I was not notified prior to my stay that there is no parking available for guests. I was told I needed to move my car immediately and could go pay to park in a garage or find street parking. My room was in the basement of the hotel with one tiny window. The basement hallway was at least eighty degrees and it was extremely hot and hard to breathe. Clearly there was no air conditioning in the hallway. The door in my room did not even lock. There was no bolt or any way to lock the door at all. I finally decided to leave and did not even stay in the room. It is also located in an inconvenient neighborhood.

We picked this hotel because we were visiting our son and the hotel was in his neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised - the rooms were more comfortable and cleaner than hotels in which I have stayed in Manhattan. The location was perfect - not only close to our son's neighborhood be very short walking distance to trendy shops and restaurants. The staff members were helpful and pleasant and their was a very nice breakfast each morning.
