This hotel lives up to every expectation! The best hotel. One block from st. Catherine, same block as bell centre, the pool is amazing. The hot tub is incredable. The service was the best ever. I travel a lot with my 3 kids. They loved the hotel. The beds are so comfortable we slept in until 11am. We had a superior suite. Loved the staff, hotel, rooms. I would always stay there.

Wonderful hotel. Perfect location right across from the Bell Center, one block from Saint Catherine Street. Lovely hotel with rooftop outdoor hot tub which is super romantic. Great size rooms, urban suite is perfect for one couple and can easily fit two with the pull out couch. Valet parking, spa, restaurant, cafe are all great amenities but they do cost extra. Enjoy your stay!

I visit Montreal on a weekly basis for work, This Hotel is my Favorite !

I have been to a couple of hotels in Montreal and this one was the nicest. Room was well designed and the pool and spa are a great past time. Well situated and the complimentary cappacinno machine in the room was a nice plus. it was worth the price i paid.

i would recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff is very friendly and helpful and go to great lengths to make your stay a great experience.

Evryting in hotel is fine

The location is perfect. Very clean hotel. The room was a little small, but it was not a big issue. We liked the pool and jakuzzi. Children spent a lot of time swimming. We liked the parfume smell once you enter the hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

I have stayed at this now for 2 consecutive years on our 7 day trip to Montreal. This is the only hotel I've ever gone to that seems more like a home than a hotel. The service is outstanding, ALL the staff are courteous and so helpful. The location is in the heart of downtown and within walking distance of everything. I can't say enough good about this hotel! Worth every penny! 5 Star stay.

Stay at this hotel on family vacation. Had booked a 2 queen bed room, but for my surprise got upgraded to a junior suite. Very comfortable, clean and new. Close to most must-see sights. Definitely staying there again.

We enjoyed our stay at Le Crystal. Convenient for many restaurants, shops and close to a metro station. Not so good for the old town and sight seeing, although we did not do too much of the latter due to wet weather. Nice rooms with contemporary decorations, but we had to ask for a change of room after the first night as we were at the back of the hotel, and the noisy air con units from the Novotel kept us awake. Staff dealt quickly with our problem and gave a room upgrade to a one bed suite. However, both rooms and various places in the corridors seemed to have cupboards (presumably housing electrical equipment) which gave off a loud hum.. Again this was annoying in the first room, but the suite was much bigger, and by shutting the bedroom door the problem went away. Indeed, despite having a street facing room, we found it very quiet in the bedroom. If you're planning a stay, it would be worth paying for a suite for the bigger bed and the chance to shut out any intrusive noise.

This happens to be one of the the most beautiful hotels Ive stayed in. The rooms are gorgeous, up to date, clean and very comfortable. The staff was fantastic and beyond accommodating. you will not ever be dissapointyed staying here

I stayed here with my husband and 2 year old daughter and they were very accommodating and friendly- they had a crib and even purchased a potty for our daughter!

Hotel le Crystal looks and feels very new. Next door to the Bell Center (hockey and shows). Lovely spacious rooms with all amenities. Molten Brown beauty products..impressed by quality and great smell. Next door to some very fine dining. Hard but comfortable beds. Very spacious bathroom and loved the rain-shower head. The rooms are sound proof, therefore a good night sleep is guaranteed. Came across a few know celebreties and there was a movie production going on right outside the hotel. Chic and classy. A must. You won't come across load youngsters roaming the hallways, they can't afford it.

Stayed at Hotel Le Crystal last week with my husband and two small children. The suite-type rooms are very convenient as there is a bedroom with sliding door as well as a pull out couch and a large hallway, wide enough for an air mattress. The rooms were very nice--sleek and modern in a W sort of way and we thought the rate was very good for what we received. We like to stay at the Four Seasons when we travel, but since there is no FS in Montreal we had looked at the Ritz online but heard that it was pretty old and in need of many updates. Le Crystal is new and the rooms were definitely nice (rainhead showers, deep soaking tubs, etc.) and on the level of most top hotels. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The indoor pool is very nice and is a definite must for the kids. No turn down service in the afternoon/evening which would have been helpful with wet towels, etc. The location is across from the Bell Centre in a business district that isn't as charming as the old town or as hip as the Plateau area, but altogether we thought this was a very good choice for value and our travel needs.

The staff was courteous and very responsive. The room was incredibly comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Montreal and at this hotel!

The room was beautifully appointed, the room service prompt and tasty. The women at the reception desk were happy to make restaurant reservations and mark up maps to help us find our way.

Really nice and comfortable hotel. Great gym, pool and hot tub. Well serviced suite, discreet and friendly staff. Located downtown and close to the Metro. A few more hooks/hangers in the bathroom would improve the room but that is a small matter compared to the overall satisfaction that we experienced during our week long stay. The suite allowed us to entertain our family and friends during our visit. We would use the Crystal again. Steve, UK

Our one-bedroom suite was one of the most comfortable, pleasant rooms we've ever stayed in. Small, but very well-equipped and designed. Lots of storage space, 4 place settings of china, etc. The big glass walk-in shower with overhead rainforest faucet was lovely. The food at the restaurant was quite good and not ridiculously expensive, as one might expect at a ritzy hotel.

I stayed at the hotel on the 28th of MArch 2011, and I was very happy with it. The gym facilities were okay, but the pool was great. The lady at the checkout was very friendly and when I asked her for a late checkout she was very helpful. So overall I was happy with the hotel, and would recommend anyone staying there, as the main road (i think St Catherine) is about a 2 min walk.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It's a luxury place and we felt like pampered by all the staff, whether it was the front desk girl, the valet guys or the staff in the spa. We enjoyed every moment during our stay and we would definetly stay there again any time! We recommend this to everyone who goes to Montreal!!!

This hotel is conveniently located close to St. Catherine (shopping and main street) and the VIA Rail train station. The hotel service is excellent and the rooms are incredible! A little pricey, but money well spent!!

Beautiful Hotel with great amenities and the location was perfect...

Lovely hotel convenient to downtown and upscale shops. Front desk staff very friendly. many little extras such as free coffee in am ,bottled water in exercise room. Cafe should have longer hours and overall restaurant unimpressive.

Pros: Amazing location and incredibly spacious, clean, modern, and well-appointed rooms. Only con: concierge and front desk staff happened to not be as knowledgeable as one would expect about restaurants in the area. They were also not very good at giving directions. That being said, they were extremely helpful in helping to search for restaurants to make reservations at and even delivered a list of places with their summaries to my room.

Poor hotel. Poor lighting. Cold. Poor service

Great experience ... I loved the idea of a room that felt like a condo. It had all the conveniences of home, even though I brought some items as I wasn't sure what the Hotel provided I could have saved myself some packing space. Molton Brown beauty products, Magnifying mirror, robe, slippers and even coffee pods with working fridge and machine. Sitting area and small but efficient bedroom. I could have stayed much longer if I had, had the time. I had driven into to Montreal so getting around was easy as I grew up there but it was a better alternative to relatives as I could come and go and the experience was fairly priced compared with Toronto Hotel rates. Very happy and Hotel Le Crystal will now be my second home when I am visiting Montreal.

A truly lovely, modern hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and helpful. All staff are completely bilingual and ready to help with any need. The hotel location is in a business district, but just steps away from dining, shopping and the Fine Arts Museum. It is possible to walk to the Old City, but the metro is available for the less energetic. I would not hesitate to recommend this luxury property to anyone.

This is one of the best hotels we've stayed. it's a great value for you money; it is near all the major attractions, the hotel staff is excellent and make you feel very comfortable. Our trip was a romantic getaway, we can not wait to return. it was

My fiance and I stayed at Hotel Le Crystal downtown Montreal for a long weekend. It was absolutely beautiful and everything we expected for the price we paid and for the reviews/pictures we had seen. The hot-tub on the rooftop was romantic and never over-packed (in fact, one night we had it alone). It wasn't working completely, though, and wasn't as hot as hot-tubs usually are. The staff were very friendly, kind, helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was my favourite part of the room! HUGE with both a deep soaker tub and a rain shower. The coffee/cappuccino maker was always stocked full and delicious. The bed was comfy. We even had a deck to ourselves in our Urban Suite! It was WONDERFUL to sit out there at night with a crepe or pizza from nearby vendors. Location was PERFECT: we were a block from all the fashion-type shopping on Sainte Catharine Street, and two blocks from a ton of very delicious and unique restaurants. I felt very luxurious staying in this hotel! It gave me a thrill to walk into the absolutely stunning lobby and be greeted by the staff with genuine warmth. I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a higher-end hotel in Montreal! Absolutely worth every penny!

The staff was particularly friendly and very helpful. Pool was great. Metro around the corner, crepe restaurant two blocks away. Stayed for four nights and loved it.

My wife and I stayed here once before and it was excellent, we decided to stay again, this time with our 7 yr old and 2 yr old. The staff was excellent and atentive, the room was perfect, clean, comfortable and very roomy. We took advantage of the indoor pool and out door Hot Tub, as well as the work out room. All were excelent and the equiptment and view in the work out room was great. We will stay here again for sure!

This very newest of Montreal hotels is a gem of a hotel. It is conveniently located near restaurants, bars, shopping as well as transportation ( subway& bus.) It is state of the art in terms of technology- electronic doors and signage. Our room was a suite and even included a mini instant espresso machine as well as an equipped kitchenette. The bedroom was superbly quiet, comfortable and cool and included a flat screen, wall-mounted TV. The lighting was beautiful. Our balcony had a wonderful view of downtown Montreal. The only negative I could possibly find was that the spa and fitness area was very expensive and not included as part of the hotel stay. All in all, Le Crystal is a truly luxurious hotel and a delight for even the the most discriminating of guests.

I stayed at this hotel because I was in town on business and the other hotels were already booked. I am so glad that I found this place. The hotel staff were very helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. I loved the espresso maker in the room. The gym and pool were clean and not busy at all. I actually wish that I had been able to spend more time in the hotel. It is also only a block away from the shopping area and two blocks away from an area with 20 or 30 places to eat. I will be going back!!!

The hotel staff were very polite, professional and friendly. Absolutely fantastic experience with the front desk staff. They were especially kind to our children. We loved the pool, spa, and outside deck area as well. Overall, Hotel Le Crystal is a fantastic value and we will surely stay there again in the future.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Within walking distance to old montreal (10 minutes). The attached restaurant was very good but pricey. Would definetly stay again in the future.
