Woodbine Hotel and Suites - تورونتو

Great stay. Location of the room in the hotel was not great. It was on top of the lobby, and there was a party going on in the lobby until midnight and we had to get up at 4am. Even after we called down to the desk to ask them to keep it down. Other than that it was great.

This is a nice property However desk staff a little unfriendly (this may be caused by hotel policies that have them photo copying Guest's picture ID at check in /Which most regular travelers are not accustomed to or comfortable with (Identity theft) Thus initial contact with guest is negative/ Management should consider this) No housekeeper till 4 pm

Upgrade the outside because you have a beautiful and comfortable hotel. The beds are great and the interior is elegant. Staff was polite and courteous. Price was fantastic for Toronto area. Area north of hotel was a bit rough at night but race track is right there and real nice.

All is according to the price.

The room was nice and clean but there were no extra blankets or pillows, I had to ask the front desk for an extra blanket. The breakfast was great, I would stay here again because it was close and convenient to the Racetrack!

The carpet needed vacuuming and we only had 1 facecloth for 2 people ?????

No privacy curtains on window. 1 facecloth. Marks/stains on marble floor that looked like old vomit. No occasional chair. Pillows sized for infants with no larger ones available. No assistance with luggage in or out. Light bulbs out. Cable TV did not have basic channels viewable in that the channel (for example CTV) had so much static and "electrical" interference it was non watchable. Clerk said it was the cable company and he would call them. Nothing changed in my 5 day 4 night stay. I definitely would have changed hotels had I had the time and the energy.

The room was pretty good over all. I especially thought the cleaning staff was excellent! Very polite and helpful.

The room was clean and nice. The room was cool and we needed another blanket and towels but we just had to ask. Nearby restaurant info would have been useful but Tim Hortons is close.

front desk staff should at least APPEAR to be friendly and approachable,take some lessons from cleaning staff. they at least seemed to be happy to be there !!!!!!GREET YOUR PATRONS WITH A SMILE you are supposed to be gracious hosts

It was an inside room, the window faced a banquet room. Felt like a fire trap! We had to switch rooms, because it was so warm.The cooling unit would not work. The brekfast buffet consisted of some fruit cocktail that looked like it was from a can, a loaf of bread and some bagels for toasting.Coffee maker in our room would not work, had to go down and get hot water at the brekfast room.Would absolutly not stay there again!

I'm not sure why this hotel is only rated 2.5 stars. The rooms were large, clean, and the staff was friendly. We were even upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival. We would definitely stay here again if we need to be in the area. The only negative aspect of this hotel is the surrounding area. Although close to the Woodbine Racetrack and the Woodbine Centre, the surrounding neighbourhood seemed a little bit rough.

Wouldn't stay again

I travel alot to many FIRST Robotics events and when I discovered the Woodbine years ago when it was known as the Park Inn I knew I had found the best bargain in ALL of my travels. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Mississauga.

$20 for Shuttle each way to YYZ, Also waited 50min after I called, even though they told me 20 min. They also told me wait for Sky Shuttle and Skyway shows up, how would I have known? They never told me about the fee until I got to the hotel and they said I should have asked. Next day I took taxi, $19.50, same cost as the shuttle. breakfast is absolute joke, bread (no toaster), coffee (no decafe), jam and that is it. So YYZ travelers, add to the hotel fee $40 for the shuttle and you will be better off at another hotel close by. oh, the room was cold when I got in, good that the heater was working and was able to heat the room comfortably. I only gave rating "1" to average the rating more reasonably.

Excellent service, clean room and nice bathroom Very good place for the price you place, it really worths the money and I'll certainly stay again

The guy at the front desk was not pleasant. He told me I came to check in early for only 4 minutes before 3:00 !!! Did not say a word for the guests checked in before me. Service was not bad. Room was not bad...

I like the good rate for the hotel they had beautiful rooms. However this is my second visit and I didn't get my king size bed that I requested in advance, They did give me a cheaper room however. I also didn't like how there isn't much breakfast food variety. There menu has to be changed up for breakfast food. I also didn't see a restaurant in the hotel either.

I only needed a place to sleep, wash up and store my stuff. For that, this place was great value.

This place was very nice my only complaint is not enough varity for the continatial breakfast

We stayed twice. We were looking for a basic clean place. We got that and more. On the second stay, we were given a suite. With one wall heater, the room was quite cold and there were no spare blankets. Bottom line, we would stay there again. The only down side is the desk closes at 4am.

hotel was nice, people were nice. Felt safe and comfortable. Had no problems with check-in or check-out and will definatly return back to Woodbine hotels & suites

only problem was no restaurant on premises. left too early to have breakfast. price is excellent

i will let anyone know that it is a great place to stay. the only thing that could make it better would be a in door pool & work out area.

When we first entered the room it looked great. Then when it was time for bed we pulled back the sheets and there was a used condom in the bed. The front desk man gave us a new room and the carpet was filthy. Breakfast was to be a 6am and was not ready until almost 9am.

Our room was very clean and tidy and made it easy to overlook the fact that we didn't have any towels, bath mats, wash cloths, coffee etc. Even the fact that we had a plasma t.v. with fuzzy stations could have been forgotten after spending a day touring Toronto.However, upon our return home, we realized that they charged us for two nights on top of Hotels.com's fee, which I have to say, did not make us happy. Unfortunately, we won't be returning to the Woodbine on our next Toronto adventure.

I am glad we did not make this trip mid summer. The air conditioner did not work well. There was a contraption in the room that we did not figure out.....it was an extra air conditioning unit of an air cleaner. The hotel could use some updating as well

Price was great but room not in best shape! Table lamps were damaged and bed headborn broken. Not impressed.

Great little hotel and the price was very hard to beat. I've stayed at much more expensive hotels and te room quality had not been nearly as good. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

We loved the hotel. First class all the way and at a low price via Hotels.com , $20.00 lower than their outside sign.

Traveling on business to Toronto, I stayed at the Woodbine for 2 nights. Overall, a very good experience. Specifically, the positives: clean room, located reasonably close to downtown, comfortable bed, free breakfast, nice and quiet. Small complaints: If you ask for a wake-up call, don't count on it. I never received mine (but fortunately the alarm clock back-up worked fine), my "view" was a banquet room -- even though it was not in use, it was kind of creepy to leave the curtains open. Eggs at breakfast were cold (tho I give them credit for going beyond the standard continental spread).
