Novotel Monte Carlo - مونت كارلو

Suited me perfectly for a 2 night stay. Close to the train station so very convenient for the train to and from Nice and all the main Monte Carlo sights/attractions were walkable. The room and bathroom were modern and clean with all the facilities you'd expect. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was decent as were a couple of light meals I ate in the hotel cafe. There are 2 laptops in reception which you can use for free in 20 minute sessions.

I had an excellent time at this hotel. It is well located and I took daily walks to the casino, marina and even up to the Palace. On the negative side I would have preferred a little more cushion for my bed but that might just be a personal preference. The staff was excellent.

Hotel is very new. Rooms are big and facilities are great. Breakfast was awesome too which is icing on the cake! Although it's a 20min to the center of the city, but location is considered convenient if you arrive/depart Monaco by train as it is located 5 min from the train station. There's also a regular bus coming around to the hotel too so location is not a big problem.

This hotel is flawless. Just make sure you upgrade your room.

hotel was very clean,breakfast totally satisfactory(even had sausage,egg and bacon) and the staff excellent.swimming pool stunning and totally usable,take your trunks, towels are supplied don't think you will be disappointed.I was able to leave the car at the front at any time and it was taken via valet to the underground car park.I would suggest if you can to take a room at the back overlooking the swimming pool and garden as it is much quieter.throroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel and will be going back again.

Great Location. Good price for Monte Carlo Room. Expensive to eat and drink in. Expensive to park your car. Expensive to watch TV!! Overall, I would not stay here again as the sheets on the bed were awful. Very itchy poor quality thread and I am not that fussy on sheets but these were the worst I have ever slept in. Rooms were not changed even when sign was hung on the door. Good points are location and free wifi in Hotel Lobby.

Great hotel within walking distance to casino square but it baffles me why they feel they need to charge for wireless in the room when the whole hotel is covered, every other hotel down to 2 star one's we stayed at didn't feel the need to do this. Also parking is charged for when they have a floor dedicated to them in the underground car park below the hotel. Oh and it's expensive to eat or drink anything but that's Monaco for you!

Novotel was a great hotel located close to the Casino as it was only a 6-8 minute walk. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very accomodating. I wouldn't reccomend the hotel if you want to spend the majority of your stay beaching because it was a 30 minute walk to the beach and it would make more sense to stay at a hotel in front of the water. Other than that, the hotel was great and my husband and I didn't understand why it were a 3 star hotel, it seemed more like a 4 star. We enjoyed our stay at the Novotel Monte Carlo.

Just returned froma long weekend at this hotel and can highly recommend it. The staff are mostly english speaking and pleasant, rooms are clean, airy and well stocked. All have small balconies, city view ones are best from high up, we were floor 10, but garden side ones are sometimes obstructed by concrete terraces. Breakfast is well worthwhile but outdoor terrace gets full early. Pool is lovely and much needed after all those steps. direct route from hotel to harbour is 267 steps!!! Bus from Nice airport pricy N100 is 50 euros for 4 people but cheaper than a taxi, take plenty of money you will need it

We stayed at the Novotel for the first time and it has very good price for value - walking distance to everywhere so you can leave your car. The room was a bit small perhaps but has all that is needed.

Great location - it's right beside the train station. We stayed two nights. Ate in the hotel one evening - the meal was incredible and great value too. The hotel is very expensive though. I would recommend this hotel if you had to stay in monaco, but there isn't much to do in monaco and most of what there is to do/eat/drink is very expensive. Go for the day trip, stay in similar style in Cannes for a lot less money.

overall a very good hotel, close to walk to all the main attractions, good rest and bar and very well maintained. i would use it again

Brand new place, great location, staff extremely helpful

The location was excellent as wasthe price, m only complaint was the rooms are too hot for the English, we dont all wear jumpers in 18 degrees.

The hotel was incredible looking....very clean, upscale Ikea style. The buffet breakfast was very good and the location was close to the casino and the harbour. Only downside was no free internet in your room (only in lobby) and the room was very small and not ergonomically laid out (by this I mean that doors seemed to open in the wrong direction and more thought was put into look instead of usability.)

I got a pleasant surprise staying at this Hotel. Easy to find, I just entered into Monaco, started to follow the roads while also setting up the satnav at traffic stops. There was no need, I found it within 5 minutes of driving into Monaco. Entering the hotel, I could smell a perfumed aroma, that was nice and after checking, I contacted the staff to ask for a room where the windows could be opened. Within a moment, I was provided with a more satisfactory room with all the space I needed and windows that bring in air. The bar and restaurant was very nice, light airy and modern. It was a pleasure to be in such nice surroundings with friendly pleasant staff both at reception, the bar and the restaurant... Highly recommend it!

impeccably clan, great central location, cool restaurant and bar. small rooms, but very nicely appointed. thermostat (in winter) would not turn the AC on, which was incredibly annoying. also annoying wifi: i had to go to reception every day to get a little piece of paper with a new code, they oculd not do 5 days in a row.

reat hotel, great location, great rooms. For a little extra, book an executive room as the view is just absolutely fabulous. If i had to book again, i would however rather stay in Nice and do a day trip to Monaco as there is very little to do, especially in winter. Monaco is however a must see, it is just spectacular.

Great location and very nice rooms. Clean, excellent service as well as very close (3 blocks) to the casino and shopping. I highly recommend based on the room rates. Not the greatest views, but who spends time in their room when in Monte Carlo?

Clean hotel but we could hardly sleep as the bed was hard as a rock and room was poorly insulated. Location is also a little out of the way compared to other options. Would not stay here again.

The hotel is only a block from the railroad station which gave us a convenient way to get down to the waterfront. It was an easy walking distance to the Casino. Parking is an issue when trying to check in. Once checked in, there is a parking garage. This is a very nice hotel with a beautiful lobby area over looking a very nice bar and restaurant.

This hotel is steps from the train station. Staff was fantastic. Hotel is clean and well kept.

Considering its location and star rating, this is one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed in for the price. The staff are friendly, helpful and the rooms appear as if they have been decorated within the last 6 months. The rooms are spacious clean and having taken an 18 month old on the trip with us, having BBC television including CBeebies was a life saver!! The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the rail station, which is fantastic because you can use the train station to access various levels of the monaco streets (for those of you who haven't been there it is quite hilly). The rooms have tea & coffee making facilities, which may seem a given but in my experience when in France it is a very rare facility. The breakfast although not exactly cheap is in a buffet style,it always set me up for the rest of the day as I just kept going back for more. The restaurant does a lovely variety of meals and again not exactly cheap but considering its Monte Carlo I would suggest its by no means the most expensive restaurant you could eat at. I ate at the restaurant twice with my wife and I found both occasions very enjoyable. The pool area and grassed sun areas are a beautiful place to relax after a long day sightseeing, its very secure for children as well. I was so impressed with this place I booked in for an additional 2 nights and I will definitely be coming back.

Excellent hotel in convenient location. Walking to all points of interest in Monaco and Monte Carlo, including railway station for convenient and cheap connection to all of French Riviera. Despite all luxury, no closet space provided in the room.

I spend 2 weeks on business each June in Monte Carlo -- both weeks separated by a week somewhere else. I stayed my first week at the Novotel (first time there) and then returned two weeks later as I was so delighted with the place. I have stayed in higher star hotels throughout Monaco and initiallly, didn't want to stay at Novotel because it is at the top of the mountain/hill. This time, I needed a suite large enought to accommodate 4 of us and to be truthful, the luxury hotels down at the port were just way beyond my price range for a suite so decided to try this one. I didn't find the location an inconvenience at all and was really pleased with the ambience and service. The maid was terrific -- remembering that we were 4 people and ensuring that we had enough fresh linen for 4 of us to bathe twice a day and also, keeping the place organized! Those of us not working (everyone but me!) loved the pool, the amenities available for our little one to enjoy and also, the lovely staff who saw to their every need. I will definitely return again and indeed, have already recommended to another associate who attends these conventions to give Novotel a try.

Everything about the Novotel stay was great. Only bug-a-boo, the hotel selection of statuary art was modern avante-gard. Just seemed like 1st graders designed it. But we saw the same theme through out this Village of the Rich. Just blocks away is the Casino, seen in many movies. Groupies wait at the entrance to see who is coming and going. We took an evening table to the side, wine glass in hand, and watched from a "tasteful" distance.

Novetel Monte Carlo was in a terrific location. Within walking distance of the harbor, great restaurants and the casino. The staff was very friendly and helpful and could speak multiple languages. The breakfast buffet was typicla European. The cost of the buffet seemed high, but compared to other restaurants in the area it was reasobable. The only "complaint" was that we needed a pull out bed for our children, which resulted in the bed being placed very close to the bathroom. We had to manuever around the doors to get in and out of the bathroom.

Novotel Monte Carlo pleasantly surprised us - our room was much bigger than we anticipated. The room was spotless and more attractive than it appeared in the pictures. The bathroom was also quite spacious with new fixtures and excellent water pressure. Room service was prompt and good. Location was also excellent - a stone's throw away from the train station and a short walk from the casino and the best shops. Extremely good value, especially considerng the prices of the other hotels in Monte Carlo.

Could not fault this hotel in any way - excellent value for money compared to other hotels - very good location, nice rooms, lovely pool - delighted with my choice

Ett bra hotell som låg nära allt. Ville man ta tåget var det vara några minuters promenad åt ena hållet. Ville man till casinoområdena var det bara några minuter åt andra hållet. Ville man ned till hamnen, ja då var det bara att ta en genväg via tågstation så var man där nere på max 7-8 minuter. Rummet var väldigt rent och höll hög klass. Lite trångt i badrummet när man duschar och att toaletten var i en annan del var lite ovanligt. Frukosten var helt okej. Det fanns mycket med avsaknaden av stekta/kokta ägg var något vi saknade. Priset för detta hotellet var dock i världsklass. Vi kan rekommendera hotellet och kommer vi hit någon mer gång är det mycket troligt vi väljer samma hotell.

Ho soggiornato in una camera al 6 piano lato giardino. Premetto che é la quarta volta che soggiorno presso l'hotel, una volta in una camera lato città, ddue volte in executive lato giardino e questa volta in una camera lato giardino. Nel mio ultimo soggiorno ho notato che non esiste un armadio dove vuotare la valigia, e le condizioni della camera cominciano a non essere piu`cosi all'altezza del resto dell'hotel, essendo tutto il resto molto molto bello. Grazie

si se esta pensando en conocer montecarlo este hotel ofrece unas excelentes instalaciones, modernas, comodas y limpias para un turismo familiar o de negocios

Muy bien atendidos, instalaciones muy buenas, desayuno muy bueno. Muy recomendable.

Um bom hotel. Pra quem chega primeira vez em Monaco é meio estranho mais depois que se caminha um pouco e chega na praça de Monte Carlo a gente fica feliz. O bom mesmo deve ser ficar no Hotel de Paris ou no Hermitage, mais com uma diaria mais barata é um bom custo beneficio e tem um terraço bacana e o jardim com piscina bem legal. O quarto é meio pequeno mas confortavel. Os atendentes são gentis.

dette var mitt opphold nr.2 på novotel, alt er førsteklasses som man forventer i Monaco. frokosten er fantastisk, resturanten er flott med nydelig mat. Rommet var romslig med flott utsikt over havnen.Vi skal tilbake til våren,og bestiller selfølgelig via hotels.com, det er best og billigst. Takk for en fin tur. hilsen Tommy fra norge.
