Holiday Inn Express Ramsgate - Minster - بيرتشنجتون

Overnight stay before heading off to Dover. Real value for money if booked well in advance, very clean rooms and surrounding area. Quiet rooms and a good nights sleep was had. Simple light breakfast was sufficient. Would stay again and highly recommended

Good hotel

Friendly and helpful staff at reception. As a party of 3 it was nice to have all beds ready on arrival and tea/coffee making available for 3 and not 2 as usual. Coffee to go at breakfast was a nice touch. Would stay there again.

The aircon was rubbish / not easy to tunr off. The room too cold at times (it was very cold outside) and the extractor fan in the bathroom did not function. Breakfast was a bit of a trial to find a table and they did not stock things up quickly. However for the price it was okay and the reception staff were as least helpful.

Pleasant and clean,plus the staff extremly nice,breakfast yum!will stay at this hotel again on my next visit to see my family

Room rate is good, which includes nice English breakfast (not full but close) . Free internet at lobby is acceptable. Recommendable for cardrivers.

Pleasant staff; quiet , clean & comfortable room & a very resonable breakfast for the price.

A pleasant experience which could have been enhanced for me by the following..Baked beans that were gluten free...availability of gluten free rolls/bread, even if to be ordered in advance of our stay.The staff were exceptionally pleasant & helpful & the room & facilities overall were excellent. Beyond the immediate vacinity there is a host of lovely places to visit.

I found the room comfortable and clean. Staff were ok. Food was ok. I would use again.

Originality of building well kept, interior very tastefully done. Staff very friendly and efficient. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

Stayed here in November 2012 the night before playing golf at Royal St George. Rooms are basic but clean and in very good condition, perfect for a few nights. Travellers should note that they are no baths in the rooms, it's all walk in showers. The bar is uninspiring however there is a nice pub across the road named 'the Smugglers Retreat. Breakfast is fine, not the biggest selection but good enough. Its close to Kent Airport and right on the main road but I wasn't disturbed by noise in the slightest. There's a small Spitfire museum nearby which is worth a visit also. Would happily recommend but only as a stop over.

nice hotel very quiet considering it was on the main road,warm and frielndly,breakfast was a bit hap-hazard more continental than cooked but there was plenty to eat.

The room temperarature control seems preset at + 18 c.The room got colder early morning .As a result I came out with a bad cold .Overall ok.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness, size,facilities and layout of the room,we had everything we needed although a few more tea bags etc would have been nice . Unfortunately,our bed had definitely seen better days and was much too soft and 'rocky', but the sofa bed was firmer. The Continental style breakfast was lovely.Fresh food and plenty of it with no sense of being rushed. Staff seemed professional and helpful. A very nice stopover on the way to the ferry.

Have used Holiday inn Southhampton before. The room was smelling of damp, the bed was small.The staff was freindly, & breakfast bufet had option to take away coffe, which was useful.

A very nice little hotel

I wanted a no smoking room as I have 2 very young children - the room that we got was a smoking room - a mix up somewhere. The staff were very good about it but as the hotel was fully booked an air freshener & an open window just about did the job - lesson learned - always phone & check that your booking is what you think it is!!

This is the second year in a row that we stayed in the Holiday Inn express Ramsgate, highly recommended, great value for money and will return again.

very comfortable stay, breakfast a bit of a free for all, not enough seating when hotel is busy ie weekends

Room was small for the booking of 3 adults and one child. However it was clean and tidy and the staff were helpful when we asked for extra pillows. Smugglers retreat restaurant over the road was good value and service. Hotel location was good to travel to local attractions. Breakfast was disappointing with not much choice of 'english breakfast' however we would use this hotel again.

Hotel was OK. Typical Holiday Inn really, which are generally all the same. Hotel staff were friendly, and room was clean on arrival. Breakfast was a bit poor but was included in the price and the hotel was quite cheap so cant have everything!

if you like brick walls. If we'd been above ground we would have been able to see the road, the other hotel and the end of the airfield. The grounds need some serious TLC as does the exterior of the building. Inside its clean and tidy but the bed was not the best. The staff are friendly and efficient.

Chosen for location this is one of the older Holiday Inn Express Hotels, but was clean and the service good & welcoming. About a 15-20 minute walk into Minster to a great Fish & Chip Restaurant - Archies - where you can also take your own bottle without corkage charge.

good accomodation for good price

This stay, coupled with another experience with the Holiday Inn Express, makes me wonder about the readiness of the hotel to handle foreign visitors. First, the hotel did not have any electrical plug adaptors and I spent nearly two looking around stores and shopping centers in the area before I finally found one! Also, the High Speed Internet in the rooms comes at a price (6 GBP) and it is not high speed at all, making work that much slower. The front desk was not helpful at all nor did they even try to be helpful. Truly, a very disappointing experience.

This is a good hotel, close to international Kent airport and nearby seaside towns.

cleanproblem lean room. excellent service in the bar and at reception. air conditioning is a great boon for the unpredictable British weather.

I think this hotel is very convenient for touring North Kent . On main Rd but no noise inside. Free wi-fi in bar area, ice machine great in reception .Breakfast is perfectly acceptable bearing in mind price paid. Nearby village of Minster has 3 pubs chip shop great small Italian restaraunt and an Indian what more do you need?

Beds fine; room well equipped with essentials,and of good standard; no bath but shower very good; comfortable and big enough for family of four; breakfast good(cooked and vegetarian); service prompt and efficient and pleasant. Well worth the internet rate charged. Convenient for us and on fast A road by passing Canterbury!

We stayed for two nights with our two children. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful and very sweet with the children. The room was good and clean although the sofa bed (for the children) had seen better days. The cooked breakfast is apparently under orders from Head Office and is therefore very basic but the croissants and pastries were the best I've ever tasted. The hotel was clean and well presented and for the money I thought it was absolutely fine. It is located under 10 minutes drive from the centre of Ramsgate.

Comfortable value for money accommodation, Breakfast was average but good enough

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, Ramsgate for two nights. We were pleased with the hotel and would stay there again. The room was comfortable and clean and the hotel was in an ideal location for visiting Thanet and going to Dover and Ramsgate. I was happy with the buffet breakfast and by serving sausages and beans you kept my partner happy too! There were only two areas which disappointed us - one was the internet. We were unable to get on to the internet from our room on the second evening (it wasn't enough of an issue for us to raise it with reception as we thought the internet may have been down because of the atrocious weather) The second issue was the tea bags the hotel supplies - they're awful! They're weak and tasteless - so we went out and bought our own!
