Convenient hotel with just a 15 mins walk into the city centre. Quiet location on the canal in the Armouries area. Close to shops, bars and restaurants. Good value for money for a family room although the beds were very uncomfortable!

Annual works do next to the Royal Armories so the location of this hotel was great! I have stayed at this hotel more than once and as ever friendly staff and a clean comfy room.

Great hotel and convenient location into town just a 5 min walk away, breakfast was good and nice to have some hot dishes on the menu. Perfect night away central location will be staying here again on my next trip to Leeds

I stayed in this hotel as I had an Xmas party next door in the Saville room so it was more convenient than messing about getting a taxi home. The location is great as it's right next door to the Royal Armories and not far from Leeds city centre and the M621. There is also a multi-story car park next door that you can get an overnight stay through the hotel for £8. The room however was not worth the money, there was a flickering light bulb (which was fixed), the room was very small and there were only 2 wafer thin pillows on the bed. Also the TV was an old fashioned CRT type not a flat screen and there weren't many channels. As we were only staying for 1 night I just got on with it, I had a rubbish night's sleep though. Breakfast was actually okay, there was tea/coffee, cereals, croissants, toast, pain au chocolat and then sausages & beans too. The breakfast area was quite small and if it was busy it could be a hassle, also there was only Earl Gret tea, not a problem for me but my girlfriend wasn't a fan. In summary, if you are needing a place to stay for 1 night to visit the Armouries or Leeds in general then it's okay. Any longer and you might want to look at spending a bit more and stay in the Malmaison etc.

Lovely location, leeds kitchen restaurant close by is well worth a visit, however the hotel seemed prone to stag and hen dos and the rooms have the worst sound proofing I have ever experienced you might as well have had them all in the room with you it was that loud. you could hear every word even spoken words (not shouted) every trip next door made to the toilet, every phone bleep.

Comfortable, clean, standard hotel room, excellent value, in great location. Expensive residential and museum area, close to city centre via pleasant 10 minute walk along canal. Good buffet breakfast as well. parking extra but in next doorconvenient multi storey park. Probably not worth using the facility to have use of £60 removed from your bank account for a few days as deposit in case of using bar etc - this caused me unnecessary anxiety - will just pay as I go another time.

I found the hotel was very nice, staff were very friendly. the only thing I might criticize was the breakfast. there wasnt a great selection, and I wasnt sure if there was food at night time. I never saw anyone else eating. but I enjoyed my stay.

I found the hotel very clean and comfortable and located in a nice area. I would recommend this as avery good value for money hotel.

Stayed at this hotel a number of times more for it's convenience than anything else.the hotel is always clean and breakfast is a bonus.when arriving at our room the door adjacent had a banner on saying Hen Party,we asked to change rooms as were put on a different floor without hesitation.

Ok hotel. Liked the canalside location. Good restaurants and fantastic museum. Could have been a bit more life at nights. Hotel service very friendly. Only disappointment was the breakfast and the noisiness of the stag/hen party guests....

hotel's Surrounding was fantastic. Staff was good but maintainance was really poor. Phone in my room was not working at all. was tired thought will order something in room but there was no menu there. Not upto my expectations.

room was spacious and comfortable.Location was a bit hard to find but once got there all went good.Neighbourhood was surrounded by beautiful buildings

This is a very pleasant area of Leeds by Clarence Dock and next to the river with plenty of good restaurants around (Even the Queen used one of them when she visited). Solid clean hotel, nice and warm (my previous hotel in Leeds was freezing). However, the lift wasn't working; fine for me but the family with elderley grand parents and a lot of luggage were not amused. Lots of comments about the breakfast bar. It is indeed cramped and can get somewhat confusing in the rush hour if everyone wants the same thing. Otherwise perfectly adequate. About 15 minutes walk from the station and the city centre, perhaps too far for some but a delightful walk along the River Aire. Close to the bus station and cinema. I'l certainly go back, especially given its low basic rates.

The room was good and bathroom nice and clean but breakfast wasn't optional when we booked and it was dire. The dining area was cramped and hot drinks all from a cheap machine. Al food had to be collected from a very cramped area where it was unpleasant to queue and collect your toast and egg, which was cold by the time you'd queued again to get your drink.

On arrival we were given a room which smelled of cigarette smoke.we were immediately offered another room which was fine.Our stay for one night was fine, with the exception of the self serve breakfast,which turned into a complete shambles as the facility to serve yourself was totally inadequate to to deal with more than a limited nos of people arriving for breakfast at the same time for breakfast. We were told that the hotel had a large number of people staying that weekend. Presumably it would only cope then if it was about half full?. On checkout I was asked to make payment for the room i explained I had already done so via Hotel.com. neverthe less I still had to make a further payment which was later accepted as being double charged. As I say the room was fine, it is pity it was let down by non-breakfast and staff errors. with only staying one night we managed to visit the city museum which was very good on the history of the city.also the the hotel is right next to the Leeds Armouries which we were told was well worth a visit when free.

This places has all the comfort and extras that you expect from a large hotel. The staff where helpful and the room was ideal for the three of us.

Although a brief walk (about 15 minutes) or cab ride from the main rail station, this would be a pleasant hotel canalside across from The Royal Armories Museum for anyone seeking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the more congested business center of Leeds. The hotel is newly built and in an area that has more than a variety of good cafes and restaurants. The accommodations, service and buffet breakfast were all well above average. Add in their current reasonable room rates and this has to be one of the better hotel choices in Leeds.

Very close to Royal Armouries, which was great. A little higher and we may have got a view of the jousting. Walking distance from the city centre, all in all a great location. All amenties expected of this type of hotel. Only fault is that there was only one towel so the maid just walked in to give us a second one, no lock on the door from ourside so she could just walk in without our permission. Although it doesn't have it's own parking, there is a multi strorey next door with a reduced rate.

Dejligt indrettet hotel, med godt indrettede værelser, midt i flot, nyt område i Leeds Docks, Masser af restauranter og city i gå afstand, langs vandet. Betalte £32 for P-hus i 4 dage. Ikke dyrt, men havde vel regnet med at der var fri parkering for hotelgæster. Ødelægger dog ikke indtrykket af en super oplevelse i en overraskende flot by.

Ett prisvärt och trevligt och lungt hotell nära city.Hotellet är beläget mycket nära det nya armemuseet i ett nybyggt område vid floden.
