Aloft Nashville West End - ناشفيل

The hotel staff was incredibly nice, location was pretty convenient. I chose this hotel because I thought it was a W hotel property and therefore expected a bit higher quality but instead it was pretty mediocre. They forgot to clean our room twice and even though I told them that we had three people staying in the room (double), they only restocked it for 2 during the whole trip (water, coffee cups, towels...). Overall the hotel was just fine and was an ok place to stay, but if you're expecting higher quality, you won't get it here.

The rate of hotel was raised due to events in Nashville. I would not stay at this hotel again for that price and may have stayed closed to downtown area for that much money. Room was newly remodeled and was nice enough but all hard wood floors which was not something I would choose either.

Enjoyed our stay- rooms are huge. Doing alot of new construction- will really be nice when complete.

I was only there one night... it's a good hotel. They are under renovation, so it's a little difficult to rate it generally. However, our room was good and it is very close to music row.

Not bad but old converted office buildings need to have some spunk to work. This has a bit of a funky lobby and a rabbit warren of rooms. Still under some construction but being finished wont change much. Friendly staff. Why Westin co brands Aloft is a bit of a mystery. So far apart can't help thinking that as the number of locations expands the chain will get more mediocre conversions like this." A funky lobby does not a hotel make"

When we first walked in the lobby we were shocked at the condition of the hotel Clearly they were in the midst of a large construction project. We were quickly assured that the rooms were not in the same condition as the lobby. This was true, the room was quite nice. Upon checking in we were given complimentary parking which is normally $18 a day and complimentary passes to breakfast since the hotel restaurant was currently closed and under construction. The breakfast was fairly nice under the circumstances and consisted of different juices, coffee, sausage, eggs, pastries, bagels, etc. We were also moved to a room with a king bed since I mentioned we didn't need 2 queens but that was all that was available online when we booked the trip. The room was spacious with nice furniture and wood floors. The bathroom was nice as well. My only complaint is there was some dirt in areas that may not normally need cleaning often but with the construction probably should have been wiped down like the back of the bathroom door. The hotel staff and construction staff were all very friendly. We chose this hotel since they allowed dogs at no additional charge. The staff was always cheerful and offered treats to our dog anytime we were in the lobby. It looks like the renovations will be very nice once they are completed. We would definitely stay here again, especially if we are traveling with our dog.

Unfortunately, we were surprised when we arrived about the amount of updating that the hotel is going through. We knew when we booked that it was going through some renovations but this was more than just renovations. We were awoken by hammers and people dropping heavy items very early, both mornings of our stay. You have to park in a lot behind the hotel and pay to park. Fortunately, with the amount of renovations that they were doing, we were comped for our parking and breakfast both days which really was appreciated. I am sure with the amount of work going on that the hotel will be beautiful when completed and more than likely we would stay there again. One other drawback, is the distance to the "strip" , it was a cab ride. Not really within walking distance.

When we arrived we found the hotel under renovation. Not minor renovation either. The entire ground floor was in pieces and covered in plastic. The restaurant, bar, and convenience shop were all closed for the renovation. I believe we should have recieved notification of this so we could have made other plans. To make matters worse the construction resumed at 7:30 am the following Sunday morning. The staff was okay considering Im sure that they were blasted by everyone when they checked out. I could have definitely found another way to spend 200 dollars. A free continental breakfast did not begin to compensate for our miserable experience.

We were very upset that when we walked in the lobby, bar, hallways, everything but our room was under construction. The room number wasnt even on the wall or door. Had we known this we would have chosen another hotel, especially since we we still paid full price.

The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was really comfortable. The best feature of the stay was the shower in the morning - like standing under a waterfall. Very relaxing.

The hotel was being renovated during our stay and besides a few unexpected evening knocks on the door to measure the room the stay was pleasant. Good location with easy walks downtown or Vanderbilt and good if you don't plan on staying in the room except to sleep. Renovations are scheduled to be done by the end of April 2013, but another new building is being built across the street. Expect noise at least through 2014.

This was the worst hotel I have stayed at in 30 years of business travel for noise from rooms on any side. Even normal conversation carried right through. Woken up at 3am one night, then kept up to 1am the following night with some people entertaining a small group next door.

I thought the stay was great considering they are under construction. The construction was not a bother or distraction for us. We enjoyed our stay and were vvery happy with our stay. Would go back now and would really like to go back to see it after the renovations.

Rate should be decreased during revovations and not advertised as already remodeled. Room was dark and only partially furnished. Hammering and loud noises from 7:30 AM on. Bar closed. Breakfast was cold and not replenished. Also had to wait to check in to obtain payment from Hotel.com.

This aLoft is going through a renovation (remix) through April 15 which means refuel and xyz are closed. Those are ammeneties frequent alofters expect. Other than that it was top notch. When it's finished it will be awesome.

The cleanliness of the hotel was good, but it's way overpriced... The Hampton Inn just a few doors down is a much better hotel. And one thing I didn't know about before I went was, you have to pay $18 extrra a night to park at the hotel. Hampton Inn is free parking. The hotel was nice, but I won't be staying there again.

Excellent service at the front desk!

Overall the stay was satisfactory. We were disappointed, however, that there was construction being done and not everything was open. And as we were placed on a floor that was being worked on we were woken up by 7:00am daily with the sounds of construction workers. Our room still had things not completed, such as no closet hanging bar. When we arrived in the assigned room we found that there were still customers staying there and had to call down and be moved - a little disorganized at the front desk. We also did not realize that parking in the hotel garage was at an additional cost as that was not told us upon check in. We think that once construction is complete it'll be a beautiful hotel but maybe wait a couple of months before staying there.

Four of us girls. Has a great time. Didn't spend much time in the hotel, but enjoy the time we did spend there. Would definately recommend. A mile away from downtown, didn't mind the walk one bit.

This hotel is being redone but it lacked a lot of the amenities you expect in a hotel of this kind. The phone did not work in our room. The staff was sloppy looking. Not very friendly. I'd definitely try again once the remod is done if the price was right because its the only hotel in the area that allows dogs.

I stayed in this hotel this week for business and was more than pleasantly surprised. The front desk folks were cordial but the all star was the room. Like a huge NYC loft, cool, but not "trying". Hardwood floors, spacious modern bathroom, great accoutrements in the bathroom etc. Great spacious desk with free wireless (fast) and plenty of outlets and usb ports. The only negative was Goten, the Japanese restaurant on site. The food was average at best with limited sushi and sashimi choices. The service was slow and horrific, the sushi chef was surly and the waiter was clearly a college kid who had no clue of the menu, the options, etc. I can't wait to go back to the hotel though and definitely where I will stay the next time I'm in Nashville.

This place was awesome. My girlfriend and i went to get away for the night and we both were amazed on how fancy the place was. Its in walking distance to downtown if you don't mind walking a mile. We walked back late that night and i felt safe walking i didn't have any worries of anything happening. I suggest that you stay here if u visit downtown Nashville

Cheesy decor w/ a cheap vernier. Not what you'd expect from a W hotels project.

We ended up in Aloft because the hotel that we originally booked in was under major renovation which render uninhabitable. The staff was very friendly staff. The room need a little cosmetic upkeep. Wish there was more choices for breakfast in terms of better pastry and fruit.

Have read some reviews on here of guests not being totally overjoyed with the renovation of this property. I was on a business trip mid-January and the status of the renovation looked terrific. I was with 2 other colleagues, we all had great rooms. Amenities were very nice. The gym and fitness area could really use some work, though! They had 3 treadmills, a weird elliptical (that I didn't use but heard others complain about!) and a few free weights. They need to get this up to the quality of other ALoft properties. The Hutton has a much better fitness area.

I had never stayed at any of the Aloft hotels and was so pleasantly surprised! From the decor to the staff to the spacious room to the warm smelling lobby. I booked my next stay already!!

The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was a bit dark, but the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.

Loved it. The hotel staff great. Really appreciated having a proper shower and not a second-rate shower/tub combination like you get in most places. I shall happily stay here again.

Depending on what you prefer and what you need, this may be your hotel. The decor has a new feel and contemporary feel, however it's not been kept well. Small indicators of age are apparent and detract from the overall appeal of it's design. While the chipped paint and worn fabrics can be somewhat distracting, the personnel were excellent. Friendly and helpful at every turn and always present. Their demeanor was very accommodating and friendly. If you're looking to save some money and want to feel comfortable, this is your place.

Just remodeled, spacious rooms, but a bit sparse in decor, which is unnecessary, but something that helps with ambiance. Clean though lacking toiletries. Staff friendly and enjoyed to fresh cookies when I checked in. I groaned when I was place near ice machine, but didn't hear a peep, so very satisfied with my stay.

The extremely chipper staff gave detailed instructions on finding our room. Thank goodness. Park in the small garage, go through two sets of doors then take the elevator the rest of the way. We got lost each time to & from. The major inconvenience turned out to be slamming doors, which can't be avoided no matter how conscientious a neighbor you are. We were told the hotel is being remodeled though. Hope this lets guests sleep in!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Aloft West End Nashville. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the hotel room was really nice -- comfortable bed, nice amenities (beautiful gym, spa shower in the room). We ate breakfast each morning at the hotel and found the prices to be reasonable. The hotel isn't directly in the downtown (it is about a $6 cab ride from all of the bars and other downtown attractions). That being said, there are plenty of restaurants and things in the area if you want to get something close by. It was our first time in Nashville and we loved it! We'll definitely be back and will definitely stay at this hotel again.

I wasn't very impressed with Aloft. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. But my complaints are more in the poor design of the room: thin walls (you can hear literally everything around you), cheap laminate flooring that's peeling, slatted bathroom doors with zero privacy (seriously, who thought this was a good idea?), no vents in the bathrooms so it immediately turns into a sauna, the TV broke in one room and then the air conditioning broke in the room they moved us to, and the window in the larger room was tiny so if felt like a dungeon.

They are in mid remodel. Not the best aloft in the system. Small awkward lobby bar. Small room, odd decor and color scheme. Staff was a bit worn around the edges.

Extremely helpful/friendly staff. Room was clean & bright & comfortable. Shower was large & shower head was up high enough for my 6'2" frame. Will absolutely stay there again!

We had a wonderful time. I loved that the Hotel Aloft was smaller. It met all our needs. The room was great and spacious. And anyone who stays there, walk down the road and eat at Chappy's on Church. We're from the Mississippi Coast where he had a restaurant pre-Katrinia. It is fabulous and were so glad to visit there while in Nashville. We were delighted to see it was a block, we walked, away. Would definitely return to The Aloft!

We stayed at the Indigo three nights requiring housekeeping on two days. On the first day we came back to the hotel mid-afternoon and noticed that our room had not been cleaned yet, so we reminded the front desk. But on the second day we didn't return until the evening and again we found the room untouched. We were furious. We were just coming in from a football game where we had been rained on and all we wanted was a nice shower and a nap in our lovely hotel room before going out that evening. When we complained we were told that they could send someone up -- but we still needed that nap and shower -- not to have to vacate the room until housekeeping finally did their job. There is no excuse for this. We were offered vouchers for breakfast the next day, which we accepted. However, once we paid for the parts of breakfast that were not covered by the voucher (which we weren't awareof until our check was delivered), the taxes, tip and some other additional charge I was never clear on -- and waited 55 minutes for our food to be delivered -- our "free" meal cost us $24. And one of the orders wasn't even correct. So, no thanks to the Indigo again.
