it's a nice stay

Everything was perfect, except the location, even tough, the hotel provided car service to the subway station, however, the return was not provided due to telephone problems. I would recommend to stay in this hotel.Thank you.

Room was smaller than I was lead to believe. The wifi was on and off for my laptop and didn't work at all on my girlfriend's. The issue took a chunk of our day. "Manhattan view" was of a cemetery and a junk yard and a partial view of the brick wall of another part of the building... Overall the people where nice, and the room was clean, the shuttle bus was on time and the breakfast was good. It was generally good but it could have been better.

When we Got to the hotel And i noticed the area and surroundings i couldnt help tell my husband we are screw...it looked ugly And dangerous to walk at night, me Being pregnant And my hormones going crazy gave me chills just thinking HOw on earth would we walk late at night here o even come late... Now that is just the outside. But the hotel itself is very clean And great service from the front desk staff And very nice organized. Our room was fantástic with the city view of all manhattan. :)

Book online with Hotel.com King size bed. Got to hotel they gave me handlycap room. Told me rooms where all sold out.

I appreciated the shuttle service!!!!

it was good. my room was clean and comfortable. i used the shuttle to the train everyday of my stay. theres not much of restaurants or shopping center around the hotel but the train is not far station inear the hotel is not far from times square manhattan or the queens mall.

The quality of the hotel was great and the staff very attentive. I've stayed in other nearby brands and know you can trust Fairfield. Parking at this location is limited. For a handicap person, although there are designated spaces, they are either taken by persons without a permit or crowded in so close that realistically they are not functional. The breakfast needs improvement too. While the location is desolate, the proximity to Manhattan is unbeatable. Plus if I were to use the train, they do have a shuttle. Tourists seem to like that.

The hotel is ok, great location only 4 tramway stops to manhattan, free parking good breakfast , very very nice attendants. The bus drive to the tramway is very smart.. I love the window that allowed fresh air into the room however the noise from the street woke us up on at least 6 occasions, then the elevator broke down and our door had been jimmied in the past so one can slip a credit card on the the door frame close to the latch and easily enter the room.. In the end this hotel isw a great valu

I didn't spend much time at the hotel as I was in the city most of the time, but let me tell you, the free shuttle to the subway station that this hotel offers was very helpful. They will even pick you up if you give them a call. There is also a bus stop just a few blocks away that is very easy to walk to. The free breakfast was also very good. The room was always cleaned, and the staff was very informative and helpful. The neighborhood is so-so, not too bad, not great. I would stay here again because the hotel is nice and the prices are not too high.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The price is reasonable. The hotel has shuttle to the nearby subway station which gets you to Time Square in 20 minutes. We had excellent experience with this hotel. Highly recommended.

Everything was great. The only problem is that hotel is far from the train station.

Staff and rooms were great. Only complaint was that the shuttle back to the hotel took a good 45 minutes to come pick us up, but only one time. Perfect place to say for a good price. I don't recommend walking around to late near the place, though. Cab back from times square was around $15.

The staff made this stay the most pleasent trip we have had in years. They deserve 5 stars!!!!

Everything in the hotel was awesome! The staff is nice and the coffee is available 24 hours a day which i really liked! I dont recommend relying on the shuttle to take you to the train station or pick you up though. I waited for an hour and a half at the train station after i called to be picked up. It was very cold outside and my phone was dead so i couldn't call again. I ended up having to pay for a cab. I felt like the staff was preoccupied every time i needed something. They were very nice though! I would definitely stay here again, but i would make sure to have a backup transportation choice!

overall i was up set i paid for a king room with a Manhattan view an i got a room with double beds not even queen there was not really enough room for my husband and I to sleep in the same bed.

I thought the hotel was great I just did not like the ragged area it was located in.

Staff was very friendly and smiling! Arrived very late and only interested in a shower and sleep, but the lobby was clean and the room was outstanding..There was no close restaurants or etc., but the very nice desk clerk quickly provided me witha menu for a diner who delivered..Overall, for the the price, I feel I got a steal!!!

Room was very clean, a lot of towels, room was small, no refridgerator, bed was nice and comfy, over all had a good experience

This was a great stay for us in Brooklyn. The hotel was lovely and the staff very attentive and very friendly. Continental breakfast was way above average. Parking was minimal but the staff helped us find a place to squeeze the car in each night when we came back.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast wasn't versatile; eggs, sausage, bagel and pastries, cold coffee, milk, tea. The view is nice if you are at a higher floor and facing Manhattan. The shuttle service is handy and lots of places deliver food. Most of the staff was friendly, but they lie about available upgrades on rooms unless you originally booked through them. Park lot small but doable. Many parked and too the train into the city. Shuttle will pick up and drop off from the nearest station. Not the best neighborhood to be in solo.

Love it ... far away from everything and in a nice industrial area too! clean rooms, sparkling clean bathroom, etc ... do i need to say more :-)

There was a red peanut m&m with hair growing on it and a least 2 weeks worth of used soap bars in the bathroom

Wonderful room (very clean and comfortable), service and breakfast. Hotel offered free shuttle to and from the subway-great way to get in and out of city. Hotels.com made it affordable!

Horrible...parking was terrible....cable reception was bad...very expensive for average hotel

My expectations were modest and they were exceeded, mostly because the staff were very helpful. As others have indicated parking was extremely limited but a staff member found us a spot and held it while we got the car in. The hotel is just a couple of blocks off the LI Expressway so that's why I gave the locate a 5.

WE WERE VERY COMFORTABLE IN OUR ROOM, EVEN THOUGH WE WERE NOT IN THE ROOM A WHOLE LOT.. THE PARKING WAS NOT ALL THAT GOOD. WE HAD TO PARK ON THE STREET. THE BREAKFAST BAR WAS GOOD AND ALL THE HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND READY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS WE HAD ABOUT TRAVELING AND SURROUNDING AREA.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was well kept and the room was VERY clean. We enjoyed the view of the NYC skyline and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. We stayed in a King Spa room and we had fun with the Jacuzzi tub. The Neighborhood is alright. Nothing fancy but if you want a bite to eat, take a cab out to woodside/jackson heights/Astoria. The staff will suggest a few good ones in the area but want something different, go a little further. We love the noontime checkout. Worth every penny. Unfortunately, we scratched our car in the garage. Its kind of tight but as long as you use common sense and know how to maneuver, you'll be fine.
