The Boathouse is at best a 4 star hotel in a great location. Their restaurant is good, but very ....very over priced compared to the surrounding beach restaurants. No question, Kata beach is one of the best beaches I've been, but the staff could help in cleaning some of the garbage that gets washed up. Only after I mentioned the amount of garbage on the beach to the staff, then they cleaned it up. I don't understand with such surrounding beauty, they wouldn't take better care of their beach, which I'm sure is the main reason anyone stays at the Boathouse. Their rooms are average for the price and the hospitality service is slightly better than average. Not sure if I would stay there again.

had a great stay at the Boathouse! its beautiful, and you can walk right out onto the beach. breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were wonderful, and staff was very nice. however, we found out later that the tour we booked through the hotel was way more expensive than booking at other places. overall, a good stay, but expensive.

This hotel has the nicest beach-front area on Kata with umbrella chairs and tucked at the end of the bay, a bit more serene location. The food and restaurants were great, loved the breakfast buffet each morning. It's a convenient location although right on a main drag and we had the impression it was a bit more secluded. Overall loved it and a great place to stay for a gals getaway or romantic trip.

The Boathouse is lovely on so many levels. Beautiful design, beautiful staff, beautiful beach, and beautiful food. I will most definitely be back...

Great views from bar and cafe
Excellent wait staff....THAT'S IT!
Bad concierge, no understanding of English
Deceptive advertising beach access rms require going thru pool area and eating area...NO privacy 6 feet from public pool area. Trees blocked views from most rooms including their most expensive beach front suite...THEIR OWN trees!
WORST fish dinner I've had in 15 yrs of intense travel. Other meals below average. The old chef, who was renowned no longer there. Hotel under new ownership and already has a bad rep with locals

Hotellet är i toppklass, när det gäller rum, restaurang, bar, strand, och service. Priserna är för dyra med tanke på omgivningarna, med stökiga försäljare av krimskrams på gator och även inne på serveringar och barer.

我们住的是海景房，房间很干净，早餐也很棒，每天都有新鲜水果送到房间，更惊喜的是中秋节还送了月饼，酒店员工服务态度很不错，很热情，下次还会来！
