Great staff, outstanding breakfast, very nice and clean hotel about a 30 minute walk from old town or very easy bus access. Try and get a room with a view of the Gruz Harbor.

This hotel is recommended highly by us. The staff couldn't have been more helpful (thanks Mirjana, Marja and Eva). The room was very comfortable and well equipped.Fridge was a bonus.The inclusive breakfast was very substantial and set us up for the day.The location gave us a walk into town (or No.1 bus) bus as the sun was shining, the 35min walk was welcome.We had no problems whatsoever and would thoroughly recommend staying here.

This hotel was located in the port area with easy access to restaurants, shops and the bus station. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. We would definately stay there again and would recommend it to our friends.

Comfortable place. Easy access to old town via local bus. The photos make it look better than it is. Good breakfast. Staff friendly. Could have had the next door hotel for $40 less than Berkley. That hotel was better than it appeared on the advertising. The joy of travel.

This is a very well run small hotel with excellent personal service from its staff. Very convenient for local buses to other parts of Dubrovnik, including the old city. As a solo traveller I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Berkeley.

Clean, comfortable hotel with really excellent staff, who make you feel very welcome and are extremely helpful. Excellent breakfast. Hotel is near lots of good restaurants and getting around the Dubrovnik area simple using the local bus service and for further afield the bus terminal is short walk away. Also trips operate from harbour. Staff very knowledgable about local area, services, restaurants etc., and all speak good English so communication is easy. Nice swimming pool area and outdoor lounge area with honesty bar. We would thoroughly recommend the hotel.

Don't stay anywhere else but the Berkley if you are staying in Dubrovnik. The friendliest staff and a beautiful hotel with even better coffee and breakfast :) It is right beside everything so if you are travelling elsewhere in Croatia after or before your stay in Dubrovnik you should stay here. Couldn't fault the place.

ruined our stay here. The woman at the desk and her supervisor were most unpleasant to us when we asked for a simple change -- two single duvets on our bed instead a one king-size. We would have left and found another hotel if we hadn't prepaid the room. Clean and comfortable, location not so convenient, and those two staff people need a course in how to relate to guests. Plan to return to Dubrovnik but never to this hotel.

This is a great hotel with decent sized rooms, a tasty breakfast included, and friendly helpful staff. We had a double room with a balcony and free parking and wi-fi. The hotel is a little bit out of the town but there's a bus stop two minutes down the road with frequent buses which take you right to the city gates. The buffet breakfast was a great start to the day and the swimming pool was perfect for a dip after a long, hot day sightseeing. We were also really impressed with the staff who went out of their way to be helpful. A great choice in what can be a very expensive city!

Staff very friendly and helpfulful. Very close to bus stop and harbour. A good selection of restaraunts nearby. Highly reccommend the Berkeley hotel as a place to stay.

Our room was very quiet and clean. Easy bus ride into town. and it is very convenient to the main bus station. Breakfasts were very good. The woman who makes breakfast found a silver earring one day, and the next day asked me if it was mine, which it was (I was so happy she found it!). She works hard, and is a lovely person. The hotel staff were truly wonderful and so helpful to us. They bend over backwards to help their guests, and we would definitely stay there again.

Staff at this hotel from the very cheerful girls at the reception desk to the lady serving breakfast were all very friendly & extremely helpful. They helped with the buses to take into Dubrovnik to booking a trip to Montenegro & telling us where to visit on our driving trip up the beautiful Croatian coast.Dubrovnik is not a city to take a car into the historic walls.The hotel was on a quiet street & rooms were a good size.We were happy with our choice & would return.

A very comfortable and very clean hotel with excellent services provided by all the friendly staff .Breakfast was plentiful and a varied choice of cooked or cold food was available .Excellent location for the local bus services. We would definitely return on any future visit to Dubrovnik

As is the way with booking a hotel somewhere for the first time, we were unsure what we would find despite carefully reading previous guest reviews. We need not have worried. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Our room was spacious, immaculate, comfortable and had all the amenities we could have wished for. The rest of the hotel also did not disappoint, including a good breakfast that set us up for the day, but the most outstanding feature of all for us was the friendliness of the staff who really went out of their way to help and advise us about where to visit, when and which buses to catch, good restaurants to eat in etc. The hotel is not in Dubrovnik centre which for us was a bonus but is close enough to access all the sights easily and quickly. Only a short walk down the hill is the beautiful harbour area (where you can hop on a boat to the islands), the bus station, plus restaurants, shops etc. There is also a bus stop outside the hotel - another bonus. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and will certainly be returning to beautiful Croatia and the Hotel Berkely which definitely deserves a higher star rating than it currently has.

loved this hotel. In a quiet part of the city, Right next to the marina but 30-40 minute walk to the old town centre, which didnt bother us as we found resturants, sights, shops and supermarkets that we would have otherwise missed. There is a bus stop 100 meters from the hotel if the walk to town is too far. Lovely and clean place, a bit hilly for those with disabilities but never the less a beautiful place. Try the cable car for stunning views of the old town and surrounding area. The hotel staff couldnt have been more helpful

within walking distance of ferry port up a steep hill, tucked away behind the Petra hotel. "sea views" are restricted at lower levels and at the front of the hotel. Close to frequent bus service to old Dubrovnic town and local markets and shops. Big supermarket at port terminal. Friendly and helpful staff, nicely cooked full english breakfast available. Would stay again as a base for island touring etc.

This should be a four star. Well kept, well managed, clean and comfortable. Rooms on first floor have large patios. Good breakfast. Nice people. Two minutes walk to the buses and then six or seven minutes to Old Town. Anything closer much more expensive and no better. Downsides are enemic air conditioning but better than most, and no refrigerators in the rooms. With the heat, it is nice to keep cold drinks. I am picky, and I really recommend this.

Lovely hotel friendly staff and good location for all the sites of Dubrovnic very handy for the boat trips to the islands and the bus station a 10 minute walk. Staff friendly and bedrooms very comfortable.

Great hotel.we had seaview apartment on 4th floor. Very large room with balcony overlooking Gruz harbour.You could watch all the boats and cruise ships coming in and out. The staff are great and we enjoyed the freshly cooked breakfast. The new pool area is lovely and I believe a pool bar is due to open shortly. It is a 5 min walk to the bus stop for bus into Dubrovnik old town which run every 10 mins. Would defininately recommend

This is nice hotel, with a very good staff, serving an excellent breakfast. If you have a car, it has an excellent garage. However, it is NOT near the Old City. You either have a long walk (30-45 minutes) or a pretty quick $2 bus ride. If you are driving a car, don't even think about taking it near the Old City. You're unlikely to find a parking space during busy times and the cost is not cheap if you're lucky enough to find one.

Berkeley Hotel is a modern hotel a short distance from Gruz Harbour. There is a regular bus service into the old town (10 minutes away) nearby. The rooms are modern & spacious. Our hosts were very helpful with tourist information. They had spent many years living in Sydney so they were very attuned to Australian requirements. The breakfast was substantial and the breakfast staff very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Dubrovnic.

Summary: Service: so-so, Room: Good, Location: so-so, Cleanness: Good, Breakfast: so-so. Hotel Berkeley was close to the bus station where we arrived, but somehow difficult to find at first. The lounge and the reception area had a "hostel" atmosphere: very basic, with staff being just mildly efficient and not particularly unfriendly... The location was quite far from the old town and in the heat you won't want to walk. You can take a bus for 10min (10KN), or walk for 40min. Not many restaurants or shops around. Room was surprisingly good- spacious, new, clean, with good satellite TV (to catch up on news). Perhaps the bed was the best we had during this 11 days trip. The best part of the breakfast was the nice lady who served us, but it wasn't anything special.

Although a 30 minute walk from the old city it is convenient for buses and the local market, just a couple of minutes walk away in the port. Excellent breakfast and very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Parking is also very good if you have arrived by car. Free internet access is available in the lobby and they will also print out your boarding pass. Everyone speaks excellent English. Cannot find anything to complain about!

We were very pleased with this hotel - as indicated by other reviews, it was very clean and co fortable and staff spoke good english and were extremely helpful. We purchased a 24 hr bus ticket from the hotel which were able to use several times going to and from the old city which was well worth the visit.

Great location for bus station - good for a one night stay and early get away the next morning. Nice comfortable fairly modern rooms and excellent breakfast facilities. A really good hotel for 3 stars especially vs the others in Dubrovnik

4 of us travelled to Dubrovnik and we had 2 double rooms which were exactly as described and suited us perfectly. We receivd a very friendl;y welcome and the same approach persisted throughout our 2 day stay. The rooms were immaculate, comfortable and quiet and breakfast was simple but freshly cooked and well presented. The bus took us to theOld City in 10 mins and all in all I would thoroughly recommend the hotel.

Had a wonderful 4 nights in Dubrovnik. Really enjoyed staying in this hotel which was excellent value, clean and the service was very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel in all respects.Ideally situated close to harbour and bus stops.Would certainly use hotel again.Rooms modern,well equipped and very well maintained,staff friendly and helpfull, this is a bed and breakfast hotel and the breakfasts are super.In all Berkeley Hotel highly recommended.

Hotellet er ryddig, rent og har alle nødvendige faciliteter.Personalet er meget imøtekommende og som gjest føler du deg inkludert. Selv om frokosten ikke hadde det overdådige utvalget så var det rikelig og meget velsmakende oppdekning. Damen som styrte frokosten svner vi allerede.

Pidin hotellista erittäin paljon. Henkilökunta oli hyvin ystävällistä, jopa huolehtivaista. Sijainnista sen verran, että usein kulkevat bussit veivät suoraan keskustaan, oli helppo liikkua tai vaikka kävellä vanhaan kaupunkiin. Aamiainen oli sangen riittävä. Hotellihuone oli ainakin meidän tarpeisiimme sopivan varusteltu, ja siisti.

Verkligen överraskande bra hotell framförallt närkontakten med personalen bra engelsktalande och service inriktade. Man kände sig som en familjemedlem Fick bra tips om utflykter, bussförbindelser och mycket annat. Frukosten var verkligen toppen. Avståndet till Gamla Staden var överkomligt man kan välja att gå eller åka buss

ホテルの高いドブロブニク周辺のホテルにしては、値段に比べて、ホテルの設備が綺麗で、サービスがとてもよかったです。朝ごはんは、卵料理をチョイスしてオーダーするタイプだったので、二泊しても、飽きませんでした。オーダーできるコーヒーも種類が多く、トーストも持ってきてくれます。オススメです。

Hotelli sijaitsi lähellä matkustaja satamaa ja linja-autoasemaa. Julkisilla pääsi kätevästi niin vanhaan kaupunkiin kuin rannalle. Kävellenkään matka ei olisi ollut ylivoimaisen pitkä, tosin kaupunki on rakennettu kukkuloille, joten tasamaalla kävely on toki helpompaa. Jos on tarkoitus vain rantalomalla, niin kannattaa harkita muita vaihtoehtoja. Hotelli oli siisti ja henkilöstö ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Jokaisessa huoneessa on oma parveke ja jääkaappi, johon mahtui hyvin juomia ja elintarvikkeita.

Ett väldigt bra hotell, mycket vänlig och hjälpsam personal, relativt stora rum, rena och snygga med trägolv och bra badrum, lien balkong mm. Mycket bra frukost -kaffet görs av en barissta och den varma frukosten "is made to order". Trevligt poolområde med bekväma solstolar. 5 minuters promenad till bussstationen

Hôtel très correct, vieille ville de Dubrovnik à 10 mn en bus, parking gratuit, piscine agréable, personnel sympathique.

Petite piscine agréable par fortes chaleurs. Hôtel relativement éloigné de la vieille ville accessible par les lignes régulières de bus. En juillet, les bus sont continuellement remplis. Il faut se battre pour y trouver une place. Hôtel de bon confort mais sans aucun charme
