Not great mattresses, but very friendly helpful staff. Clean

The hotel was clean, conveniently Located near the airport with a free shuttle service. There isn't anything nearby really unless you get a ride to downtown Halifax.

We like to stay here before a morning flight, it saves on travel time and we leave our vehicle while we are away for free

The front desk was super busy maybe they might need an extra hand every once in awhile.

Our plane was 8.5 hours late getting in we had no way of knowing this before the cancelation time. Arrived at 10:30 a.m. after some discussion between staff they allowed us the room for 2.5 hours for 179.XX plus or minus. We were exhausted and in no condition to drive the 250 km trip home but short of spending another 179.XX what else could we do. I think things could have been handled much better.

Very satisfied. Pleasant staff.

About what I expected. Modest hotel, modest room although nice and clean. Friendly staff.

I stay here every time I travel and I leave my car in the longterm parking ,it has been great!!!!!!!!!

This is the fifth time in the last 3 years that my wife and I have stayed at the Quality Inn near the Stanfield Halifax International Airport. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and reasonably priced when you consider they will park your car for up to two weeks with just the one nights stay. Very prompt at shuttling you to and from the airport at any time of the day or night. It snowed approx 20 cm while we were on our most recent trip. The driver cleaned off our vehicles and waited until we started them before leaving us. A tip of our hats to all the staff at teh Quality Inn.

No food/restaurants for late night travellers. No breakfast for travellers that depart in the overnight hours.

Very convenient for flight and shuttle service was great now.

24hr shuttle service was great.

Great hotel near YHZ Airport. Free parking 2 week with 1 night stay (before or after your stay) is a great convenience.

We were due to arrive at Halifax airport at 1045pm but due to delay did not land till after 11pm. with Hire car we tried to find the hotel but due to inadequate signage missed the turn off to hotel twice before finally arriving after midnight to find that there were no food sevices at all and as my wife is diabetic this was more than inconvenient. Had your hotel signage been prominent and obvious we would have arrived before all your services closed. We were not alone in having difficulties finding the hotel in the dark. naturally this did not endear us to your hotel chain and we therefore chose others on our 10 day trip from BC to the maritimes.

room was very comfy,ideal location not hard to locate.we ate at the restaurant food was excellent and service as well. the fact that we were taken to the airport and able to leave our car there for the week played an important part of our stay..thanks for the wonderful service!!!!!

Ideal for an early morning flight

it was wonderful .....staff very friendly and helpful...parking attendant very curtious and friendly ....all in all A Fantastic place to lay your head

This Quality Inn wasn't so high quality! The rooms need to be updated. They seemed dingy - stains on the carpets and ceiling. The bed wasn't comfortable and the comforter looked like it had seen better days. However, the staff was very friendly and you could get a shuttle on demand to the airport which is less than 5 minutes away. Also, the Wood Door restaurant served very tasty food (the burgers are hand made!) and they served a nice complimentary breakfast. But I wouldn't stay here again.

Great location near airport. Excellent breakfast. Found the room to have a very musty odour. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay there again.

For an overnight stay it's fine. They have a Bistro so you are able to get food,which is good because you aren't close to anything. The outdoor pool was ice cold and the indoor pool was closed for repairs. They have a shuttle service that's on demand so we didn't have to call a taxi at 4am. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

Very polite, efficient, and accommodating reception staff. Easy check-in and check-out. Hotel was close to airport and had easy freeway access.

comfortable room, great van service to & from airport, good hot & cold breakfast buffet (run by the hotel), but a dreadful restaurant attached (privately owned, not owned by Quality inn but in the main building ). This is the only restaurant available without going back to the airport.

Great place for that early morning flight, super shuttle service. Dissapointed that for $60 dinner we got paper napkins.

I was not impressed with the state of the room stayed in. It was in poor repair: paint coming off the walls, bathroom had a very strong foul odor, the shower looked like it needed to be replaced and there were water stains on the ceiling, If i stayed again I would be very hesitant to pay the large amount amount of money that it cost. However the staff at the front desk were courteous and promptly removed the odorous shower curtain when asked and the shuttle service provided was exceptional ~ i regret that i do not remember the drivers name~ he was very pleasant and helpful.

Located right outside the airport. Not a new, fancy hotel, but friendly service and comfortable beds. Recommended for the convenience factor.

Good. Very convenience if you need to catch an early flight.

short 10 1/2 hr. stay after 3:00 AM flight. Bed was very comfortable. Would be nice to have a muffin or some such thing at all times to accomodate late arrivals. Apples and coffee were available at our 2:00 PM checkout. Appreciated the late checkout.

the hotel wasn't anything spectacular, but the workers were nice and it was ultra convenient for an early morning flight.

It was so nice being able to relax before my flight. I ordered a meal from the hotel resturant and it was very good. The shuttle from the hotel to the airport was friendly and helpful and on time. I will continue to us the Quality Inn when flying out of Halifax. Thank you

Reasonable rates; very close to airport; great to have breakfast available at 5am for that early flight; very courteous staff

Many of the flights to the USA depart early in the am and with YHZ being 26 miles from downtown (and 80 miles from the North Shore) I always return my car rental the night before and stay here. They deliver me and my luggage to the departure area at the airport in the morning. Friendly and helpful staff and good rooms, free breakfast from 5 am makes this a good deal essentially paid by returning my car a day earlier than otherwise. Have stayed here for many years (twice this year) and will return next year for the same reasons.

We made a reservation at quality Inn as a convenience to catch our early morning flight. The staff was great, the room was great but it was a Friday night and it was stock car races at the track next door. Lots of noise. Even after the races the lights in the parking lot were so bright that the room was illuminated and the curtains couldn't be closed. We slept very little and our wake up call was 3 am.

YHZ is well away from the Halifax Metro Area. For the past five to seven years I have stayed here before my morning flight...I return my rental car the night before and the Inn picks me up at the Airport, puts me up, feeds me and returns me in the morning for 7 am flights. Basically by returning your car the night before you save the price of the hotel...try it.

Staff is incredibly accommodating and they do it with a smile.
