Being a usual here now, i feel like at home and staff is so kind and always helpful . I' m hardly recommend it to everyone.

Location is optimal , Soi 2 were the action is !!! Staff is frienfdly and pool is great ! Truly recommend the place, in fact i'm comming back next week !

The hotel is very nicely located Sukhumvit soi 2 near Nana Plaza. They provide to you a Tuk Tuk service up to near BTS Station nearby. Rooms are clean, and they have a small kitchen which is handy. Pool is small but nice. Overal very nice value !!!

This is not a 4 star hotel. The star ratings on various websites for this hotel are misleading. This is one of the most lousy hotels I have ever stayed in. Bad smell, bad furniture , poor lighting are characterics of this hotel.

I stayed in 3 different hotels when I was in Thailand. 2 of them were a 5 star property and the 3rd was Aspen Suites however I enjoyed more in Aspen.. Some key features of Aspen suites - Friendly english speking staff - good location - Spcious Rooms - well equiped kitchen - very reasonable pricing Overall a great hotel to relax..

Everything was great just a bit walking from the main road.Pool is small but very peaceful hotel & at a peaceful location.Check In Smooth ....great place to stay

This hotel was good for the money. The rooms were spacious but a little worn, however everything worked well in the room. Kitchen is nice addition. Not recommended for business meetings but fine for a nights sleep

Have always stayed here whenever I am in Bkk. Service has always been good. I hope the hotel would put a couch in the room and it would be perfect.

I enjoyed this hotel as overall its been the best hotel i have stayed in for a while. The position of the hotel is right in the middle of everything but on a quiet soi so you dont hear anything from the hotel. The room was clean and the staff was very happy and helpful. The only 2 problems i had was that the towels were worn out and need replacing and the shower water pressure is rubbish and goes hot and cold none stop so you dont get much of a shower.

We had booked this hotel for the second time, after staying here in April 2012 as we started our nine month trip around the world. We were finishing our trip in Jan 2013 and wanted to stay here again. We were upgraded without asking from a standard room to the best executive suite which we were so pleased with. The room was amazing, huge. We had so much space and it was great. The staff were all so nice and happy, and we got one really well with all the resturant and kitchen staff. The pool is lovely and the patio area. Only downside was that the sun did not reach the pool area during this stay. It did in April, so obvioulsy down to time of year. We had a wonderful stay and it was alovely place to start and finish our trip. The hotel is a 5min walk to the main Bangkok street and the BTS train. We were very happy here.

Got the hotel for very reasonable price, but left when they increase their price.

The Aspen is a nice botique sized hotel in a good location on Soi to and walking distance to Nana area Soi 4 and BTS.I've stayed quite afew times at the Aspen before. The staff is very friendly and the roomsare decent sized. However, the hotel is starting to show some wear and tear. The rooms are ok but the furniture is geeting dinged up the cleanliness is just ok. It's a great hotel if your just there for a a night or 2. For the price you cant beat the value but would suggest the hotel look at somepoint start to refurbish some of the things..bedding furtniture etc..Overall, decent hotel free internet friendly staff and good location I would recommed.

I have been traveling in and out of Bangkok for about 6 weeks and every time I stay at Aspen. The rooms are clean and the service is great. My only complaint is the breakfast is a bit pricy. (if not included in the price.) over all a good value.

Our stay was good as expected, food was good, breakfast can be better....staff was very supportive and helpful...they also have half a day free tour..its kind of overall a good deal

The room was OK, a bit dark as our window looked onto an alley but it was OK for a 3 day stay . Breakfast was abundant and had a good selection. A bit hard to find for cab drivers, so it's best to mention the JW Mariott a few hundred meters away.

This is the second time I've used this hotel and it has worked out well for me both times. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, the internet WiFi worked well in my room, and breakfast was great.

Overall the hotel was great. Incredible value for money (don't spend the extra for breakfast, it's not great), rooms were large and clean, and gym was OK but no aircon control to be able to turn it on! Never used the pool as it was always in the shade and overlooked by a building site. Looks nice though but I wouldn't stay here if the pool is one of the main reasons. Location was pretty good. A short cut gets you to Soi 4 pretty easily (if overweight western men perving over thai girls if your thing) and a short BTS ride or taxi ride to Soi 11 and 14 which are very fun. Lots of Indian and Arabs in the area so taxis don't tend to use the meter. Try at the top of the road.

Great hotel but staff are not so friendly. Hotel has a free half day tour which is great.

We really enjoyed the Aspen Suites due to the huge room and comfortable space. The location was good, at the end of Soi 2 meaning it was quiet and yet easy to get to everything else that Sukhumvit offers. They even have a fee shuttle to get you to the top of the road but the walk is easy. We were pleasantly surprised by the free half day tour that the hotel arranges for its guests, three options to choose from, we had a great day. The staff are lovely and kind. The breakfast is reasonable with good options. Overall an excellent place to stay in comfort and to explore the city.

Stay was very comfortable and pleasant. The staff were very helpful, especially the restaurant staff and in particular Mr. Yuth.Bangkok is a great place to be in because of its vibrancy and sheer energy. Great people, great shopping, good food and fantastic night life.........

Is average. The only plus point I would say are the beds which are comfortable. The door locks are not in good working condition though and had problems entering the room on several occasions My friends also had problems with the toilet and they also did not open the safe in their room even though they had no problems on the first few days. Best to not use the safe in the room as security of it is not assuring.

Have stayed here on many occasions. Rooms are always clean, staffs are friendly and just minutes away to the BTS Station.

Hotel rooms are small apartments...kitchen etc. lots of space. Far better than a normal hotel room

Always been staying here many times before. Service is good and they have friendly staffs to make your stay even better.

Rooms were nice and comfy but hotel lobby, cafe, swimming pool and basically everything else wasn't up to my expectations (or the pictures)

I recently stayed at a 5 star resort and spa hotel near the beach in San Diego. I travel a lot but was not really impressed with my overall stay--a ripoff, really. Now to Aspen Suites, on the other hand....I was very surprised once I got to the hotel and checked into my room. I travel all over asia several times a year and stay in some very nice hotels, but this was the best room Ive stayed in anywhere. They've done a really nice job for a 3 star. Not everything is perfect--I rated them a 4 for location because eventhough it is in a really nice spot near Sukhimvit Road, the best way to find it is to ask someone--like one of the big hotels on Sukimvit--because it is located down a side street a ways. They do provide a free tuk-tuk taxi service back to Sukimvit which is very helpful once you find it.

I have stayed here many times and everytime I am happy with the staff and facilities. It is quite far down the soi off the main road but at night it is very quiet. Breakfast has always been good but get there early as food is limited. They will cook fresh eggs how you like them.

Always stay at Aspen Suites. Never any issues. Clean big rooms, friendly staff always willing to please. Location is close to the main strip. Nice breakfast. Cant compalian great value for the money!

This was our 4th stay in Bangkok within the past month and we chose Aspen Suites this time because of its proximity to Sukhumvit Rd (we don't mind the 5-10min walk to Sukhumvit Rd). Our room was very big and well appointed. However some details were lacking: there was no shampoo/shower gel in the bathroom on the first day; the kitchen was missing some cutlery and there was no water cooker. After we mentioned this to housekeeping we eventually received the water cooker and shower gel. The pool - although very small - was closed for renovation while we were there. Breakfast was ok. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who travels on a budget but wants a big room in a central location.

ihave been travelling for the past 25 years and have stayed in dozens of hotels, but this hotel staff was the worst. i recommend that hotels dot com should remove this hotel from its list otherwise regular users like me will never use even this site or even expedia. plz downgrade the rating from 4 star to zero star. the whole bathroom was not working shower was broken, tub drianage was not working and the worst part was that the staff said that we donot have the maintanence staff available. the pool size was 5 feet by 15 feet, a bigger sized tub actually.

Die first impression, when you enter the room (I stayed in a Junior Suite in 8th floor, wow, nice and big. But then I started to look a little bit closer at everything (furniture, bathroom, kichenette, coookware ...) and realized that it was looking old and cheap and that some things even were brooken. The service was on a medium stndard. Some of the staff was really nice and friendly and some was arogant, unfriendly and not willing to help. It's actually rated as a 4 star hotel but in my opinion it deserves not more than 3 stars. The price is much to high for the room quality and the service. I payed many times about the same price at other hotels of the same category in Bangkok but if I compare the Aspen Suites with these other hotels it's like I would compare a Toyota with a Mercedes or a BMW. I will never stay there again.

Just a quick review, stayed 3 nights, 2 nights had a leaking air con unit @ 4am !! staff had been told ! but not corrected the 1st time. Also had a change of pick up not not forwarded to myself from the front desk ! Work was being carried out to drain's while using pool ! Rooms where clean, but the air con saga did not help !

Stayed at the Aspen Suites on a weeknight in August 2011. The hotel wasn't full so the staff kindly bumped me up to an executive suite free of charge. Ordered a tasty meal from room service, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself was a little hard to find, sown Sukhumvit Soi 2, but that's my own unfamiliarity with Bangkok. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat - good location, good people, good value.

Two people. Stayed two nights. Large room with kitchenette, A/C, smaller bathroom. Utensils were not cleaned beforehand. Other than that, cleanliness met our expectation. Fairly easy access from the subway st. either by taxi, tuk-tuk or by foot (15 min. walk). The other way, the hotel provides a free tuk-tuk shuttle to the main road every 15 min. We didn't opt for the hotel breakfast, but it looked standard. Neither did we use the pool or fitness room. Both seemed to be to the small side. The night before check-out, we asked for a late check-out which was partially accepted (one hour extension). Upon departure, we asked the concierge for a taxi to go to the airport, telling her how much we were willing to pay. This was passed on to a private driver who accepted our offer. When we arrived at the airport, the driver insisted that he had been promised a different rate from the concierge. Higher, of course. We opted not to argue but just pay. I feel that the hotel is partially to blame for this "misunderstanding". Other than this last negative incident, the hotel left us with an overall positive impression. We would consider coming back, depending on the nature of the trip.

Nice Hotel, very large rooms with good quality decor, TV, FAST free Internet! etc. A little way down side road from Sukhumvit road, but short Tuk Tuk journey or 5 minute walk. Quiet area considering close proximity to Nana's bars. Will stay there again, value for money very high for the qulaity of the hotel.

Had a single night booked, but extended last minute (whilst already at hotel). No issues with Hotels.com or hotel. A excellent good value hotel in bangkok.

Have stayed at the Aspen suites a number of times recently....it is excellent value for money, located in a quiet area on soi 2....but easy walking distance to all the nightlife you could want. Recommended !

Really good and cheap hotel. I will stay there the next time i go to bkk again.
