Almanar Hotel Apartments - دبي

First of all. The room was very nice. But overall I was very disappointed in the room I stayed in because of several factors: The first is the location. The enterance is under a parking garage. 2. I had a cold shower. 3. There was a tea pot, but no coffee, tea or other condiments in the room. When I called and asked, room service only offered to bring a cup of coffee. 4. The hair dryer only blew cold air. 5. There was no wireless internet in the room like it says. 6. There was no robe or scales (which is no big deal) in the room like it says. 7. Yes it had a balcony, but my view was a dark building with no view what-so-ever. 8. Lastly, smoking room was an option to click when getting room, and I was informed there are no smoking rooms, so u can just smoke in the room! I smoked on the balcony.

Very friendly and helpful staff! except the maintenance person. Room, linen, towels clean. Smelled of cigarette smoke, though. Half the lights in bedroom did not work. Hair dryer (European?) did not match sockets. Washer leaked. Close to metro, close to city center.

Very helpfull staff. Close to airport. Range of plates, glasses etc available in rooms well below par.

This hotel is not easy to find and is in a bit of a wack neighborhood. However, it is very close the airport and that is very convienient. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but one inside this is a pretty nice place. The room has a lot of amenities and the multi room suites are top notch. Heck of a kitchen!

the hotel was nice the bathroom showers were a bit small for me but I'm 6'4" so to be expected a lot of times other wise the room was nice and clean not the greatest stocked kitchen but still had everything you needed for the stay for me and my fiance bed was little hard for my taste but good bedding. All and all not a bad stay for the two weeks we were there.

Each time when I visit Dubai I stay in this Hotel. It is close to airport, and it is allowed to bring alcohol inside of hotel.

The Hotel was minutes from the airport which was great. There were two big shopping plazas in the immediate area($3-$5 taxi ride) with all the restaurants u would like to eat at from fast food, to traditional and foreign dinning. The Hotel staff was very friendly. I travel trough Dubia a lot & have already recommended this hotel to all my friends.

This is second time that I stay in this Hotel. Main reason that I pick this Hotel is price. With lowest price of 4 star Hotels in Dubai and great location this Hotel is competitive with others Hotels in this area.

The rooms are good and if you are just looking for a clean room to sleep in and you have a number of kids, its very ok but the only thing that really got on my nerves was the continuose smell of cooking

There are roaches in the bathroom, maybe because it is a studio apartment hotel. Other than that, the room is a high quality room, and much close to the airport. The price is a great bargain for the quality of the hotel.

I only stayed in this hotel due to it's proximity to the airport and at the price it was well worth it. If I'd stayed more than 8 hours I probably would have been disappointed but it was fine for what I needed. The only problems I had were the cleanliness of the sheets and the lack of hot water in the bathroom, other than that it more than met my needs.

It is very close to the airport of Dubai DXB and has parking facilities. Room is spacious and had kitchen facilities. The most important issue is that it could be cleaner and the room smelled cigarettes. Bathroom could be proper as there were broken tiles and dark mark between tiles. Also the bath was very narrow so you could not properly take a shower with the curtains closed without touching it all the time. Also when I booked the room thought the website, I specifically selected double bed and when I got there they first offered me to put 2 single beds together and I refused. They found one bedroom with double eventually. Basicly if you want a hotel near the airport or kitchen, than it is ok, but don't expect much. If a need a hotel close to the aiport again, I would try the Ramada COntinental Hotel which is very close to the airport too.

My friends and I got the 2BR suite. Living room was huge and comfortable. Kitchen was clean although the cups, fridge, and utensils were very tired. The only (but big) problem was that there was no AC controller in each room. While 1 room was comfortable, the other was freezing. It would also be better if they would provide more than 1 towel for each of the bathrooms. Maybe even a washcloth or an extra hand towel would suffice. I will still come back to this hotel for weekend trips to Dubai as the price is good and the hotel is near many sights.

This was my family’s first experience in this hotel and I think we are going to try something else next time. Upon check in, the front desk clerk informed us that he would have to hold on to our passports. We were very uncomfortable with this situation, so the clerk made an exception for me and my family and scanned our passports right away. My second disappointment was when I entered the room. There was a horrible stench coming from the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen, only to find smeared brown stuff on the front of both the refrigerator and the freezer. The trash can was nasty with things smeared all over it. The microwave was also disgusting. My family and I were uncomfortable with placing any food on the counter, in the refrigerator or in the microwave. My third disappointment was when I discovered that we could not have a second key. This was a huge inconvenience for myself. I left the room in the afternoon and returned later that night. My family was asleep when I returned. I was told I would have to go to the front desk and ask for them to open my room. I could not take the only key we had because that would shut down the electricity in the room. What a HUGE inconvenience! Overall, I was displeased. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone and I will not be returning.

Being close to the airport is the best thing about this hotel. The room was ok, but after a shower, the floor of the bathroom was soaked. Wifi was expensive and I had to wait for 2 hours before I could check in, and there were some guests complaining about their room... If you're in Dubai for 1 day/night and need to be near the airport, then this place would be acceptable.

it was more than i expected. unfortunately i only stayed here for 1 night but i would have stayed longer. i was upgraded to a larger room and was very impressed considering the price i paid. im quite a fussy personj when it comes to chosing hotels/ apartments but the service and the facilities were excellent and i wouyld totally recommend to anyone

The hotel was nice but in a rough area with an ill marked entrance. Several taxi drivers found it hard to locate.The biggest shock was that the internet charge was about 3 times the customery rate a day. Most hotels charge much less and many are free. I booked a King room for a single person and was given 2 doubles but they did change it for the next 2 days.The services were good.

Cet hôtel est très propre bien conçu 2 personnes a l'accueil sont très efficace juste le quartier est un peu excentre par rapport au centre mais le métro est pas loin le prix est élevé néanmoins compte tenu de sa situation et ses équipements. La cuisine dispose de très peu de vaisselle mais ne pas hésitez a demander a l'accueil. Chambres propres fait tous les jours.

Fint apartment hotel med rigtig god værdi for pengene. Nabolaget virker roligt og der var stille på værelset. Værelset er forbavsende stort og med god kvalitet. Det tilhørende køkken er veludstyret og godt (desværre havde jeg ikke mulighed for at bruge det). Eneste ankepunkt, er at lugten fra tidligere rygende gæster var noget påtrængende.
