BSA Suites Makati - ماكاتي

Large spacious room, however, very outdated hotel. The lighting was gloomy and poor. The room needs renovation and new furnishings.

My experience with BSA Suite in Makati, was place was clean. However their breakfast you got not choice in which one to eat, because it set. Whatever the staff derived is what you’re having and side for that, if you are a big eater that will not work. Because their serve a small portion in food. The amenities in the building open late, so if you a morning person this will not work for you. Supplies for your room are hard to get. No parking of loading and unloading in front of the building. Sorry its not worth paying your rate.

Well received, took great care of us and our kids

Unfortunately we cannot recommend this hotel to anybody else although it has an excellent location in Makati. The staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. We had no towels in our room and we had to ask three times before any appeared and then only three but we were five of us in the room.

Better than BSA Mansion for sure. The linens, towels, window curtains, and shower curtains were in decent condition unlike BSA Mansion. One thing I would like BSA Suites to do is to provide free wifi in the rooms. Wifi downstairs in the lobby will not cut it. I would rather have free wifi in the rooms instead of a free breakfast. This is not a 5 star hotel. It is a decent hotel in a good part of town for a decent price. I can recommend this hotel.

I chose this hotel because I was told that Makati was the "business, shopping and entertainment capital" of the Philippines, but we only found "business" there. From our window on the 27th floor, all we could see were tall office buildings. We tried walking up and down all the nearby streets, but there were no turo-turo or sari-sari anywhere in the area, only a few mobile food carts with a very limited selection. We didn't even feel like we were in the Philippines anymore; it seemed more like a commercial district in the States, with just some chain restaurants and bars and nothing else to do. The shopping strip was upscale-oriented, catering to tourists who want to buy things they don't need and to wealthier Filipinos who want to feel like they're Americans. We became very accustomed to hearing the words, "Take a taxi." Whenever we asked someone how to get to any sort of entertainment, they would tell us to take a taxi to somewhere ELSE. Karaoke bar? "Take a taxi." Mall? "Take a taxi." Sure, the hotel room has a kitchen and kitchenware, but if you need to go to a supermarket to buy food, "take a taxi." Even staying in the room was unpleasant, as the furniture in the living area was heavily stained and stinky. The cable TV signal would often drop out and leave us with a black screen. They deliver breakfast to your room every morning in a divider tray, but even typical airplane meals are much better than what they served us; we discarded most of it, especially the awful powdered juice drink. The pool is on the rooftop, but the sun only hits it for a few hours early in the day and then it's in shadow, so it was too cold for swimming, even on a hot day in mid-September. The room had no bathtub, only a shower, and when we asked housekeeping for extra towels, they told us they had none. When we had an accidental spill on the bed, it took housekeeping three or four hours to arrive to change the sheets, because they apparently don't have any extra bed sheets either. We did

This is really a condominium with some hotel rooms, the front desk sits in the entrance hall right on the elevators almost. And it is a hall, not a reception area at all. You feel like a bit of an inconvience when you see residents going in and out, almost a nuisnace. the room is decently furnished, but it seems kind of institutional. The bed was not very comfortable and they actualy came in and removed my blanket, which I preferred when I had the air con turned up. The breakfast they provided ended up being not eaten by myself becasue it looked so unappealing, I thought it was soylent green or something. VERY close to Greenbelt which is where I wanted to be, good food and entertainment there. so that was my Big Plus!
