Kasbah Caracalla - مراكش

Really enjoyed doing nothing for four days apart from sit by the pool, read and soak up the amazing back drop of the Atlas range. Staff were friendly and were bemused by our lack of activity :) the calm before the storm of the Medina. Advice - take your own books and reading, brush up on your French and a little bit of Arabic goes along way, pay extra for the half board (breakfast and evening meal), you are in the middle of nowhere and if you do not have a car your stuck with paying the hotels prices which are not that expensive compared to the UK (bottle of wine £16 beer £3.50 - we took a bottle of Vodka and a bottle of Dissarono from Duty Free) I would reccommend if you like sun bathing and reading - there was a free daily transport to the Medina but we were staying there for 3 days so took the time to wind down. Food was home cooked style and tasty.

The hotel is off the main road about a mile down a dirt track like many moroccan hotels. It has a great approach and beautiful gardens and the rear swimming pool overlooks the mountains so the view is fantastic. On first impression the rooms are spacious and a good size and the hotel is luxurious but its a bit rough around the edges with noisy plumbing and noisy doors that scrape on tiled floors. However it was great value and we enjoyed relaxing around the pool. The food is basic and there is no choice in the evenings which is a shame. The lunch menu is more varied but this is not available at night. The staff seem to live in and laze around reception but are all pleasant once approached. It was fantastic value but is more of a 3 star. Its a drive from marrakesh so you need a car

The hotel was located out in the quiet Moroccan countryside. They offered competitively priced airport transfer and free round-trip transport into Marrakech every day. That make the remote location a non-issue and actually much more enjoyable because it was so quite at night. When we stayed, there was no wi-fi access though it was advertised on the hotel's website. We also found that we had to work a little with the staff to get service sometimes. Service wasn't bad at all just not as polished as you might expect in a nice, new hotel. Our room was clean, well-decorated and suited our needs very well. Vaulted ceilings, elegant curtains, and large closet doors were nice amenities for the room. The food and drinks - though very delicious - are not cheap by any means but with the overall low cost of Morocco, the free transport into the city every day, and breakfast included, we felt that it all balanced out in the end.

we particularly chose this to have a restfull few days befor heading into marrakech and onto agidir.it is approx 17 miles from the airport,we were picked up. lovely and tranquil lovely gardens,perfect to sunbathe,read and relax.the breakfast was basic and the food and beer a little expensive compared to marrakech ,but we had known this and taken some goodies with us.staff were friendly and helpfull,limited english but we managed.place nice and clean,pool good,free ride into marrakech each day otherwise a taxi was £17-18,good value for what we paid.

We only stayed one night in this hotel as we flew into Agadir and changed our plans last minute, so decided to get a taxi to Marrakech from Agadir (very gruelling journey!) and stay somewhere just outside Marrakech as we were arriving so late. The hotel is about 25 minutes from Marrakech in a taxi and the journey cost us 200 Dirhams (about £14). This was driven by the staff at the hotel! The hotel is gorgeous and has gorgeous views - it is down a long country road off the main road, and seems to be in the middle of nowhere. It's definitely a country hotel more than a city hotel. Pool is lovely, views were lovely, bedrooms are very modern and comfortable - beds a little hard but for one night, we couldn't complain. Very clean. Only stayed for breakfast as we had to check into our main hotel but that was fine - pancakes/slices of butterbread etc with marmalade, orange juice and coffee, which was fine to start off the day. Staff were very friendly and very family orientated. I would recomend this hotel - as long as you know you are 25 minutes from the main city and it's a country hotel/large riad rather than a huge westernised hotel.

The staff was nice and helpful. They made special meals for us in light of our dietary restrictions. The ambience of the hotel was fair. The staff was helpful and kind. The only problem we had was the location of the hotel. It was in the middle of nowhere, most of the taxi drivers had trouble finding the place, and then would want to charge us extra from the city center to get there. So what you may be thinking of a good rate for a room, but you actually end up paying an extra $25 in cab fare.

El personal de servicio es excelente, muy atento. La ubicación es un gran problema, ya que a pesar de que desde el hotel te facilitan taxi gratuito de ida y vuelta hasta/desde el centro de la ciudad, debes ir en las horas que determinan ellos. Si quieres ir a otra hora debes pagar el taxi (20 € ida + 20 € vuelta). Se tardan unos 35 min en llegar al centro. Wi-fi deficiente y TV sin satélite a pesar de que se especifica que sí que disponen. Yo contraté a un taxi personalmente que me transportaba por 15 € y en el Hotel le ponían pegas para aparcar delante de la puerta por no ser "su" taxi (los taxistas que te facilita el hotel pagan una comisión al hotel por el servicio). Comer o cenar en el hotel tiene una relación calidad-precio nefasta: 18 € el menú en un país donde el sueldo "normal" es de 350 €/mes. La cantidad de comida, raquítica, incluso mi niña de 6 años se quedaba con hambre! En resumen, solo daría una nota alta al servicio. Gente joven y muy maja.

Idéal pour le repos. Personnel sympathique et disponible. Patron très (trop) présent. Progrès à faire en matière d'entretien des lieux d'habitation et de rapport qualité/quantité/prix des plats proposés dans la carte. Literie à améliorer.

het was heel afgelegen we konden het eerst niet vinden. als je er van houdt rust en kalmte om je heen dan is dit hotel super.

L'hôtel est à 30 km de Marrakech, en pleine campagne, un aller-retour gratuit est proposé tous les jours. L'équipe est jeune et mal formée, ce n'est pas leur métier. Ils parlent entre eux en arabe devant les clients, ce qui est plutôt désagréable. Le petit déjeuné est très léger, pas de fruits juste du pain avec un peu de beurre et de confiture, un jus de fruit et café. Les repas sont très bons car le cuisinier semble avoir été formé. Concernant la chambre, la literie est fatiguée, la salle de bain très étroite et seulement 20 litres d'eau chaude, après il faut attendre 10 minutes pour en avoir de nouveau. C'est très cher pour ce que c'est, l'hôtel a un fort potentiel mais est, à mon avis, largement sous-exploité.

Je recommande cet hôtel a tout le monde ! La tranquillité des lieux, mêlée a la gentillesse du personnel rendront votre séjour très agréable. Vous vous réveillerez au petit matin avec une vue privilégiée sur l'Atlas, un petit déjeuner marocain délicieux, bref de quoi bien commencer vos journées ! Tout le monde est là pour vous mettre à l'aise. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter.

Es un hotel super tranquilo, perfecto para relajarte despues de visitar el centro de Marrachek.En el Kasbah Caracalla uno se siente como en casa. Te tratan muy bien y estas mucho a tu aire. La comida que sirven en el hotel es excelente y con una presentacion muy linda. El hotel es muy bonito con jardin y piscina, bastante cuidados. Las habitaciones son muy limpias y muy amplias...es una buena elección.
