Satisfied with every aspect of our stay.

There was a musty smell on the first floor hallway.

The staff was very nice and professional. The breakfast was a hot breakfast off eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit and pastries. I was really shocked at how nice the breakfast and hotel was for the price. I will stay here again.

This hotel was wonderful! They had the most outgoing staff and took care of our every need. I will stay at this Comfort Inn again. It was great!

I got the king suite. When I go to hotels I expect it to feel homey. Luckly I was there for only one night. If I would have stayed longer I would feel as if I am in an insane asylum. They need more decor and wallpaint and up to date furniture. Bed was EXTREMLEY comfortable.

Was a very nice stay, very comfortable and clean

This hotel was great. We stayed here to get a less expensive hotel while visiting Galveston. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. I would definatly stay here again.

Our stay was Great! The next time we're in town that's exactly where we'll go.

The condition of the hotel was very good...Only complaint would be the quality of towels and wash cloths; thin and rough material..

The woman at the front desk was rude, the room smelled bad (like mildew), beds uncomfortable, service was horrible (I asked for a couple of extra towels and the lady at the front desk made me go up to my room and bring down two dirty towels), coffee looked like tan water it was so weak. I travel all the time and intentionally stay in different hotels so that I can let the general public know information regarding the hotel. My advice is do not stay at this hotel.

I was not happy with this hotel at all. The clerk - Alex - was very rude and unfriendly. Nothing was working. The detergent machine in the laudry room was out of service and none was available at the front desk. The back door that was right outside our room was not working so we had to go all the way around to the front everytime we needed to go to our vehicle. The spa/hot tub was not working. The hotel smelled of mildew. The pillows on the beds were very tiny and the beds were very unconformatable. The rooms were very clean and spacious other than that. The food on the continental breakfast bar was nasty. I will not stay here ever again

The room was like new and everything was in good repair. The water is very hard and is a little rough in the shower. The location was only about a 20 minute drive to our fishing peer and we had a great time deep sea fishing on two 12 hour charters to the Gulf of Mexico. This hotel is located in Texas City, one of the most industrial areas in all of Texas. It is surrounded by refineries and gas plants. If you can get into the room with out gagging from the smell, it is not too bad once inside.

Our family went to this hotel to visit Galveston for the weekend. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was nice and it was close to the beach. Definitely would recommend.

Very clean and comfortable. I stayed here with my fiancé for a weekend at Galveston. It's only a short drive from Galveston and was located in a pretty quiet place. The hotel was very neat and clean. If I had to complain about something, it may have to be the fact that the cable TV was regular quality signal on a flat screen that should probably need a 720p signal. Since we didn't really go to watch TV I wouldn't dock any points for that (just an observation.) As a side more, I saved myself a significant amount of money by staying outside of Galveston. That gave me some extra money to spend on my fiancé's surprise present!

This hotel is an excellent place to stay the night before your cruise.

It was a great place to stay. I will stay again and again.

This hotel was the perfect stay for one night. I had a triathlon in the Galveston area and didn't want to pay resort prices. This Comfort Inn was much cheaper and only a 10 minute drive from my race. If you ignore the refineries in the distance, it's in a pretty peaceful spot!

I chose this hotel due to the reviews on it. I have found that a more expensive room doesn't mean a better nights stay. This motel is one of the best values for a room I know of. I stayed in the king suite and it was very adequate in size and comfort. I was spending the weekend in Galveston and Kema and it was centrally located. I was also surprised that the breakfast was as nice as it was. Hot biscuits, gravy, eggs, waffles and cereals along with traditional pastries. Excellent value.

The hotel is just fine. It was spring break. It was crowded everywhere including the hotel. Some adjacent rooms had noisy people who were a little disturbing. The breakfast is okay, but we had a few problems operating the coffee/water thermoses. Overall, the hotel is pretty nice. We plan to stay there again in May.

THE ELEVATOR IS DOWN A HALL , NOT IN LOBBY AND WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE ROOMS NOT CLOSE TO ELEVATOR. I WAS CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF WHAT THE HOTEL COULD DO BECAUSE i WENT THRU HOTEL.COM. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED. THANK YOU

The hotel had recently been remodeled so everything was new and very clean. The breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful. I will stay here again when I go back to Texas City.

Stayed in this hotel the night before a cruise departing from Galveston. Very convenient, friendly staff; clean and comfortable; would definitely stay again.

The surrounding area is full of refineries. It is not really a bad point, but some may think so. The hotel was otherwise great. Cont. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were great. Room was great.

I had previoulsy dismissed staying in Texas City for a Galveston visit, but it only took 8-9 minutes to get to the Galveston bridge. The reason I decided to stay here was because of some of the negative reviews for hotels on the island for 1.5 to twice the price. I am willing to pay the higher price for the Island, but it sure better be worth every penny, and my impression was that they were not going to be, being frugal kind of person that I am. This hotel was superb, the one bed suite was really nicely done, very clean, and we felt like it was a special place.

When we checked into Comfort Suites we immediatly went and checked out the rooms and went out to the pool everything was nice and clean. We went to breakfast the next morning and there was a good variety and we were very satisfied with the food and the rooms. The only suggestion we had was vent fans in the bathrooms. Also I recieved a coupon online from hotels.com which I was unable to use at this or any other location in the area..

Great alternative to the pricy Galveston hotels. Less than 15 minutes to the Strand. Friendly staff, and clean hotel. Pool was small, and quaint. My husband and I enjoyed a romantic stay here for our anniversary. King sweet was spacious and had great amenities. Free movie channels were a nice perk. We'll be back soon!

I would only recommend in the event that you can't afford to be closer to Galveston. The drive is about 10 to 15 minutes from Galveston. There's a place behind the Golden Corral off the beach and 61st that appeared to be reasonable however I had booked and couldn't get out of deal.

This a a clean and comfortable hotel near the refineries in Texas City, about 10 miles from downtown Galveston. The breakfast was good, and the hotel was a good value, overall.

My daughter and I stayed there together. We were very confortable with the Hotel location, staff was very friendly and helpful, and it was Close to resturants. I will and already recommendend the Comfort Inn suites to our entire Volleyball group as a more affordable option. Thank you and we will stay there again when we come to Galveston for our Tourneys.

I thought this hotel was well worth the money. Location was not glamorous but the rooms were clean and the hotel was nice

This place was a great deal: less than half the price of a comparable place in Galveston!

Can't say anything bad about the room. But the hallways were filled with stale smoke. Breakfast was awful. Only thing nice I could say is that front desk clerk came back to help other staff when needed. Even still, food was inadequate, they ran out of many things, were slow to resupply, waffle maker does not properly cook batter, and the coffee was not tolerable.

we enjoyed our stay at comfort inn. the customer service at check was great. she was smiling the whole time she was taking care of us.Room clean and cool.Breakfast was awsome. they had a little bit of everything cold food and hot food. i would stay again at this hotel if needed to and highly recommend it. This looked new to me. And the hotel rooms and sorroundings were neat too. It was a bit far from the main area in this location. But, I guess this would be one of the best bets for guys who dont want to pay huge staying in Galveston or Khema.

First of all I want to say THANK YOU to Hotels.com for finding me this beautiful, clean, quiet hotel. I will use Hotels always in the future. This hotel was brand new, it was so pretty and clean. The hostess was very nice and the breakfast was delicious!

This place was close by the rocks for my fishing trip for the weekend, very reasonable price and very clean and professial staff. I would stay here again.

Since Galveston is just a 15 minute drive, this is a good option for those who want to be close to Galveston, but not pay the price. The hotel and our room was very clean and furnishings were new. I think the employees need better training. We got lost and the girl at the check-in counter couldn't give us directions from I-45, and made it clear she did not know the neighborhood or where anything was nearby...not even what was for breakfast. Also, it seems they are understaffed because no one was around at breakfast to see what was running low. There were plenty of fast food restaurants nearby too. Overall, it was a good stay.
