Aloft Portland Airport at Cascade Station - بورتلاند

The hotel was nice, I guess. It was just different. Really fits in with the keep Portland weird thing.

I'd stay again for a night...to catch a plane... The location was convenient, the people were very helpful and nice. But the beds were uncomfortable... I wouldn't be able to stay for a long period of time because of that. Plenty to do in the area.

Super friendly service and a nicely decorated lobby with a functional room. Breakfast options and layout were dissapointing.

Our room had near zero connectivity and when we did connect it asked for a password. When we contacted the front desk, we were told there was no need for a password and they would send someone up--to what I wasn't sure as that person also never appeared. For such a hipster city, this Portland hotel doesn't cut it. Ended up at the even less hip IHOP next door for pedestrian breakfast and a side of wi-fi.

Very surprised for my first time stay. Small things like free bottled water in the room to a cool lobby area with pool table and a bar made this hotel different from the rest out by the airport. I liked my room, easy access to lights by the bed, ample power plug ins for devices and a walk in shower made this a perfect hotel for me. Good gym. The indoor pool area was very well designed. Excellent hotel overall.

Terrific front desk staff -- very friendly and helpful. Actually, all of the staff was very friendly. The swimming pool was an added plus. It would have been even better if they had a jacuzzi. Really nice property for the price.

Aloft is impressive when you first walk through the door. There is a hip lobby, a cool bar, friendly workers, and a big sign that says "Portlandia" above it all. There’s a 24 hour pool and fitness center. Everything is pretty - but as a very pragmatic person I found it frustrating that the little things were overlooked. There is a sliding door to the bathroom - not soundproof if you are trying to have a romantic weekend getaway with your sweetie and you’re the self-conscious type. There’s only 1 hook in the bathroom - you can only hang one towel at a time. Microwave wasn’t plugged in & it took several minutes to feed the cord thru a small hole in the cabinet to plug it in. On the + side: we loved the Bliss toiletries; the hotel was very quiet & our room overlooked the light rail; the bar serves tasty drinks & has a very good reputation for the musical acts it brings in; the hotel is very close to the Cascades station so we left every morning to explore Portland, finding it very easy to return at night. We LOVED being able to walk everywhere & save money on a rental car by taking PT. Safe & close to many shops, including Target and Buffalo Wild Wings. However, the worst part of our stay was the bed. The pillows were way to "lofty" & the bed itself was not comfortable. I woke up with a sore back every day. Location was great but - mostly because of the bed - the comfort factor was not there. We will try another hotel on our next stay in Portland.

We basically only stayed there long enough to sleep and then get up and get on a plane for home after driving around the Olympic Peninsula and making it to the PDX Aloft hotel at midnight. However I have stayed at a different Aloft in Chicago and it was pretty much the same. Comfortable room and bed. Exact same room. It's a cozy little setup and great for couples. I love the TV input box where you can plug in about anything you want. Still need to take advantage of that sometime. Didn't have time for the bar this time unfortunately. I didn't have to worry about parking as I dumped off my rental car, but parking cost was really annoying in Chicago. I wonder if there is a charge here also - something to look for. Also, expect to pay for any breakfast (and there isn't much there) unless you're just getting a cup of coffee or tea. Shuttle worked fine, though we had to wait longer than expected once despite it being very close when one of the drivers went to get gas apparently and another had to get us. By the way, the shuttle is shared with a few other hotels nearby so watch for the logos on the van closely. We enjoy the Alofts and will continue to stay at them.

Nice hotel, Loud airplane noise.

The utilitarian style of the hotel worked well for us. I would stay there again and would seek out this brand elsewhere. I especially liked the blinds that closed all the way at the sides to block out light. The beds were firm. I'd like to see more pillows on the beds, but there were extra in a closet. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a great place for a quick stay related to air travel.

Very friendly staff. Warm welcome. Very helpful. Snacks available at any time. Didn't use the bar facilities, pool, exercise room but they were well-placed for convenient use. Quick trip to the airport. Everyone was VERY friendly - nice to get a warm smile when I arrived around midnight.

Modern design, great stay, super convenient location. Target, Red Robin, Ihop and PDX are just minutes or less away.

Great location but the most uncomfortable beds . Will not stay there again . They really need to state firm beds on web site .

We enjoyed the stay at Aloft very much. Comfortable beds, very modern and fun decor and a super price. Perfect for our getaway.

Great stay at Aloft. Comfy bed - hard mattress which I LOVE! My only complaint was housekeepers knocking on the door and every door down the hall before 9 am. :( Will definitely stay again.

I was here only due to a 20 hour layover but got an online deal. It was one of the nicest hotels in the area so I'd stay again or refere my friends there. Updated and very modern.

A bit of computer problem. Not sure where that came in. But, Katy at the front desk was awesome. She recognized my distressed saved the day. Thanks you aloft,I am coming back next time a with friends. I think it would be fun to start at, then Max to down town for a night out.

I was very much looking forward to staying at this property for two nights while in town on business this week. I had NO cell phone service in my room. Is this even possible in this day and age? In this hotel if you are an AT&T customer the answer is a resounding YES! This made my stay very difficult as I was not able to conduct the business that I needed to attend to from my room. This is almost like saying there was no running water in the place, really disappointing and unfortunate for this hotel. How could I ever stay here again in the future?

I was impressed with the modern look yet simplicity of this hotel. Comfortable rooms, smaller atmosphere, easy access and a place that is reasonably priced for the value it provides back. Most important to me was the cleanliness, the quality and speed of the front desk kiosk. There was really no dining area but there are places nearby. I am impressed with this place!

We had a great stay. Our room had everything we needed with a smart layout and design. We also loved how dog friendly they are. Close to a train stop so there's no need to pay downtown prices for a hotel. We will probably be staying here every time we go to Portland.

I would definitely stay at Aloft again. The staff is very nice. I like the modern and contemporary feel. The outside courtyard is a perfect place to relax. The pillows aren't particularly comfortable and I wish they had a free breakfast offering, but the wi-fi is free and so is the parking. Two huge perks in my book!

Loved the hotel. I wish the desk personnel had informed me of all the amenities upon check-in. I missed shooting pool because she didn't tell me the hotel had a pool table!

Ok place, but a little over priced for what you get.

Typically when you think of an airport hotel, you think of just a basic, not-so-nice hotel....not the case with this hotel! It felt luxurious and we honestly did not hear the airplanes constantly overhead. The surrounding shops and restaurants are super convenient and the shuttle to the airport was quick and timely. Highly recommend!

Trendy and neat hotel. Really liked the live Jazz they had playing when we checked in. Room was good size and we had a nice view on the 4th floor. Large LCD on the main wall was nice. Parking was included as well which I was happy about. This is a newer area which is nice as Portland downtown seems dirty and old. Close to lots of shops and restaurants which was nice. Location of the hotel was much further away from the city than we anticipated but was fine. There is a light rail system, but we decided to drive into the city which I feel was a good call as the closer to the city the more sketchy it looked.

I am a frequent traveller for business. I am also a girl, that has very long hair, that I do not wash every day. It seems to be the trend with new hotels to only have showers. I do not take showers. I take baths. I will not be staying here again. On the plus side, my hotel room did offer complimentary bottles of water. Rare these days.
