Europa Grand Hotel & Restaurant - سورينتو

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at this lovely hotel. It's "grand" without being pretentious. Our rooms were very Old World European, with big french doors, a balcony, and high ceilings. The staff was as accommodating as one could hope, and the location was ideal--right on the water and only a few blocks from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

Spent two weeks in Italy staying at six different hotels and this was our favorite by far! Beautiful hotel overlooking the Bay of Naples and Mt Vesuvius. Our room was spacious with a balcony. We enjoyed sitting out there taking in the view! Staff was wonderful! Would definitely recommend!!!

We were extremely satisfied &would stay there again. My only complaint would be that our ac was not working & a day later it still was not working. However, it then turned cold so we did not mind. The restaurant was good. the location is great! If we return to Sorrento, we will stay here again.

While we had a lovely stay at the Europa the hotel overall is somewhat dated and has seen it's better days. Regardless our room was over looking the ocean and I couldn't fault the location - everything was within walking distance

when you go down to the beach, you do not know when the elevato0r door oipens that you arrived as it appears to look like a dungeon or sub-basement i.e. they need to put up a bright sign with an arrow that say "beach this way"

My family had fantastic stay at this hotel. Great location near the center of Sorrento. We upgraded to an ocean view room! Loved being able to sit out on the patio and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We spent the last portion of our two week Italian vacation in Sorrento and were very happy that we chose the Grand Europa as our homebase. The hotel is super convenient to both the train station, we walked with all of our luggage, downhill, no problem, and the main Piazza with tons of shopping and dining. The pool and sundeck are both amazing and the service is top notch, of course the prices for drinks at the sundeck were high, but the view and atmosphere more than make up for that. Our hotel room was very spacious and the bathroom was large and updated, however, another guest in our party had a much smaller room and a tiny bathroom and tiny shower. If you request an ocean front room, the view is unbelievable, and I am pretty sure that these are all the larger rooms, and the price isn't that much more, spend the money for the upgrade, you will be glad you did! I would 100% recommend this hotel to all travelers, a lovely little slice of heaven!

The Europa is in an ideal position within the town and had the most excellent view over the bay. The staff were most helpful and very friendly and obliging it was a most relaxing holiday break, and would hope to return again.

I would assume a 4-star hotel to be very nice with all the essential, but in order to charge my cell phone, i have to unplug one of the two plugs that were connected to a TV and a cable box. The room seems a bit old/outdated.

The Hotel Grand Europa was very nice. They were making improvements while we stayed there but it did not effect our stay. This was an older hotel in which it seems they have been updating. Upon arriving to check in they gave us an up grade. Perhaps it was available at the time that they could offer that to me free. We had a nice corner location that over looked the ocean on one balcony and they partial city view and of the port on the other balcony. The room was the size of an american standard room. decoration was modern and nice. Bathroom could have been a bit more updated. The lobby and many lounge rooms were nice and relaxing. Bar and dinning room was very nice and elegant. Breakfast was included and was a full breakfast and terrific! Close to the main city center-10 min. walk. The grounds were amazing and the pool(i did not use) looked fantastic and had a terrific view of ocean. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely hotel, close to the town centre, with its own jetty/beach area that was clean and well managed. Breakfast provided was very good.

Spectacular views. Get a sea view room. Friendly staff.

Wir haben das Hotel als 5***** Haus gebucht und waren leieder sehr entsetzt. Das Zimmer war leider eher 3* entsprechend.

Very nice hotel, old italian style but good comfort. Very nice pool and beach area, with snack bars offering lunch, coffee and cold drinks. 2 min walk to the middle of the city center. Upgraded rooms with view over the sea are very nice. Cheaper room towards the street are older and not so well maintained, but ok. Only negative was that rooms didn't have much extra: bed was very hard, no extra blankets, no iron. Still for us good value for money spend, we really enjoyed our stay.

Очень удобен лифт для спуска к морю, хорошо оборудована пляжная площадка. А принимать хороший завтрак на открытой веранде с видом на море - просто наслаждение. Особо хотел бы отметить доброжелательность и гостеприимность персонала отеля, особенно на ресепшене. Прекрасный номер юниор-cьют, в котором нам с женой посчастливилось провести одну неделю. Антикварная мебель, все удобства, восхитительный вид из окна - все было замечательно. Однако, оценивая удобство номера, я был вынужден поставить оценку "3". Оказалось, что с соседним номером нас разделяет тонкая перегородка с обычной дверью. Поэтому, когда появлялись обитатели соседнего номера, мы могли слышать их каждый вздох. Понятно, что они также слышали нас, что было весьма неприятно. И еще маленький пустяк - в отсеке, где находится ванна, не было полочки для мыла и мочалки, что очень неудобно. Но в остальном все было прекрасно и пребывание в вашем отеле надолго останется в нашей памяти. Желаем всем сотрудникам отеля всего наилучшего и благодарим их за старание сделать наш отдых привлекательным и незабываемым.

We had a wonderful holiday at a superb hotel, good food, good service and briefly to the city center. However, parking is very expensive 18-25 euros a day. Beautiful pool area and hotel's own jetty is super. there is enough sun loungers and complimentary towels. We can certainly recommend this Hotel.

Très bel hôtel bénéficiant d'une vue extraordinaire sur la baie de Naples, l'entrée du port et très proche du centre ville dans un environnement privilégié. Notre chambre était rénovée et très bien décoré : un parquet neuf aurait terminé l'ensemble. Personnel très aimable et attentif, buffet du petit déjeuner très bien, très belle piscine. Deux points négatifs : 1) l'accès à la piscine et au ponton est sordide : le tunnel et l'acès ascenseur devraient être peints, nettoyés et avoir un minimum de décoration , on a l'impression d'être dans un tunnel du métro ...2) l'entrée de l'hôtel est mitée par le parking avec des voitures dans tous les sens . Mais cela reste un très bel hôtel !

Jättetrevligt och välbeläget hotell i Sorrento. Nöjda med allt, utom dom bedrövliga sängarna. Stenhårda och när vi frågade om extramadrass så la dom i en filt under lakanet! Tråkigt, eftersom allt annat var så bra.
