I guess 5 star rating means different things in different countries. In a nutshell the level of Customer Service at the Grand Palladium was just horrible. My husband and I took our 2 little girls (1 and 3 yrs old) to what was meant to be a relaxing 5 day trip. We gave the hotel plenty of warning that we were coming with 2 kids and even requested cribs. Upon our arrival we found out they had put us on a room far away from the main building and restaurants and next to an adult pool and adult only beach. The resort is so big that walking with 2 little kids was out of the question. We requested a room change and that process took literally 5 hrs in which we were stuck between the lobby and Mgrs office. We ended up switching out rooms twice and my husband had to carry the cribs and most of the luggage himself because we wouldn't get any help. Don't get me wrong ,there were plenty of employees, just nobody that felt like helping or working. We even offer extra tips but were told that that was actually "more work for them". The All Inclusive food tasted all the same whether it was pasta or meat, and the so called "dream beach" was nothing more than a small strip of rocks. I would never go back to this hotel and would definitely not recommend Jamaica based on this experience.

Hotel and staff absolutely wonderful. Grounds were quite excellent. They had this bartender name the general and his co worker whose name I can't remeber now but they work in the infinity bar and thanks for the plastic engagement ring idea!!! Loved it

This hotel is outstanding. My husband and I had a wonderful a time.The food selection was great there's something for everyone.The staff was amazing they went above and beyond to make sure our stay at grand palladium was a remberable one. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Food was excellent, courteous staff, the property was beautiful but it was too big. You had to walk too far for the food. The air conditioning unit did not work. When you left the sign for room cleaning it was ignored.

The place was very spacious, beautiful pool/large pool, and nice staff but food was not great. All rooms were not that cool at night nor was the fridge. Overall, a rating of 4 on a scale of 5 is about right. And overall we enjoyed it. Probably would recommend Sandals in Negril where we have been before but that is a longer ride from airport.

The hotel was everything that it advertises and far exceeded our expectations. In reference to major tourist attractions, the hotel is in between Negril and Montego Bay so plan accordingly. Your money definitely goes a long way if you are there to relax and enjoy the amenities that the resort has to offer. The only issue we had was obtaining face towels from room service. I will definitely return to this hotel.

great resort, clean, spacious modern rooms with jacuzzi, decent food, clean and beautiful pool, good entertainment for children, sunset cove beach is very nice. overall staff is quite helpful but one downside (problem to be addressed) is that male staff at the hotel can be quite annoying and aggressive and harrass attractive female guests.

Had a wonderful vacation............. staff were courteous and friendly, food was good. The spa esp the staff was awesome! will definately be back.

Overall we were satisfied with the resort. We had never done the all-inclusive thing before and it took a little getting used to, but by the 2nd day we were relaxed. The resort is beautiful as was our room. You need to take the one upgrade to full suite. It was worth it. The buffets were adequate and the "sit down" restaurants were a slight disappointment. Service was friendly all-in-all but felt like they expected tips everywhere we went. I would recommend this hotel for a first-timer couple looking for an affordable get away...it was worth the money

This was a spur of the moment trip, planned just 3 days before arrival. The beauty of the hotel is just as the pictures depict, and the room was nice. There are 2 sides to the hotel, Jamaica side and Lady Hamilton side. Everything in the middle is shared (restaurants, pool, etc.). This hotel has such great potential, but the service is mediocre. I had reserved a room on the Lady Hamilton side, but ended up on the Jamaica side. The room was just as nice, but the location was not what I expected or wanted. We were told that they overbooked all the rooms and that there were no other options, even though we offered to pay the upgrade fee, and that some people's reservations were rejected (we later discovered our's was one of them, but since we were there, they placed us). I will say that I do not believe that they were filled to capacity as the amount of people in any of the other areas did not translate to 1,056 rooms being occupied with a minimum of 2 people per room. After getting into our room, we discovered we did not have any wash cloths and only 2 towels. We requested more (at least 3 different times during our stay) but they never arrived. We even went so far as to leave a note on the pillow for the cleaning lady, but the note was just neatly stacked on the bedside table, but no towels or wash cloths were left. The restaurants are mediocre, at best. We typically ended up eating at the buffets because the hotel does not take reservations at the restaurants, so you must plan to arrive early to get your name on a list and then it typically takes 1.5 hours to be seated. Also, they only take a limited number of people each night, so when they reach that, they turn you away. The buffets were hit and miss and were disjointed. The food selection did not make sense and the food items were not grouped well. Outside of a couple simple items, I thought the food was below standard for what should be expected at this type of hotel. The hotel has hired help that keep the

Food just average (steakhouse equivalent to a Ponderosa or other chain buffet), rooms are nice enough for a 3* beach resort but beds and linens uncomfortable. Beaches are not good for swimming due to all of the coral. Location is about 40 minutes away from Negril and Mo Bay tourist attractions and the resort is in a very secluded area, although a new Dolphin Cove is currently being built about 10 mins away. Would not recommend for couples, but would for large families or groups looking for a fun, energetic place that is nice but budget friendly.

The hotel looks great.....wow value.The front desk staff were cold and it initially put a damper on what was still essentially a great vacation. The ancillary staff, waiters etc are very nice however and redeemed their colleagues. The food was quite good at times with a lot of choices....numerous resturants.This hotel was great value for money.

I was a little skeptical booking this hotel after reading all the bad reviews this hotel received,but I went to see for myself. Hotel design is great, finish could have been better, the property green spaces were well kept, the room layout was nice, furniture on property was very nice and trendy. We had a Junior suite with a king size bed, which was very very hard the pillows were hard and were not able to fluff. There was a jaccuzi in our bathroom and shower stall, room was big and spacious the view as also fine. Construction was being done on the main pool, but there are other pools on the property, the food was ok in the Negril buffet where we had all our meals, there were plenty of variety to choose from at each sitting, however meals could have been warmer. Overall our weekend was well spent. I am definately looking forward to my next visit to this hotel.

Great in every way.

The resort is huge...which has it's pros and cons....the inside design is nice but looking at it from outside passing by...it looks like a compound...not very appealing...They need alot of improvement...the food was not all that great...and the bars were limited on drink (alcohol) variety...the a/c in the room wasn't cold enough...the mgmt has yet to respond to my issues and I sent an email to them almost a month ago so customer svc needs improving as well...I will say they have an outstanding pool and surrounding seating area!

I loved my stay at this gorgeous hotel. I was upgraded to a suite and this just set the tone for a wonderful time. Great food and drinks, entertainment and activities await you. Come with a great attitude and enjoy. I would certainly return to the Grand Palladium.

het hotel was totaal ondermaats vergeleken met andere hotels ver afgelegen,bevrozen lasagnes incompetentie van het personeel de prijs lag zeer hoog voor hetzelfde heeft men hotel in europa van top kwaliteit we hebben het hotel na een nacht verlaten

Dette er et meget elegant og komfortabelt hotell utenfor allfarvei. Hotellet tilbyr trygge omgivelser, meget god service, samt et vell av restauranter og barer. Maten er ubeskrivelig god! Dette er imidlertid ikke the real Carribean. Hotellet ligger in the middel of nowhere, og stranden (selv om den absolutt er bra nok)er man-made. Hvis du ønsker å føle deg trygg, bare slappe av og/eller dra på utflukter, samt nyte den fantastisk gode maten på de (minst) 10 forskjellige restaurantene, drar du hit. Hvis du derimot ønsker å bade og sole deg på den karibiske drømmestranden, samt føle Karibean på pulsen, drar du et annet sted.
