I would say this hotel rates above a five. Extremely satisfied is my rating. First it is in a beautiful setting, then the hotel is beautiful as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The whole place has a warm and comforting feel. The business center even has a fireplace! Fresh cookies, hot coffee, and a friendly greeting. The complimentary breakfast was a complete breakfast, the rooms were large and comfortable, beds were great! I have never stayed anywhere that I have enjoyed more, and I will definitely return. Her is a really great example ot the hospitality...I got snowed in and flight out was cancelled so I had to stay an additional night. rather than charge me the standard rate (the easily could have because I was stranded) they instead gave me a discounted rate below what I had paid for the previously scheduled stay! If you're going to Cody, you better stay here!

Id stay somewhere else.....floors were dirty, pool was poorly lit and freezing, pool towels were bigger than the bath towels, rooms were small, continental breakfast was poor, understaffed, too much money for "luxury " lodging.

The hotel is good, rooms are comfortible & well equiped, Hotel staff are helpfull, the location of the hotel is good, however there is no bar or restuarant at the hotel & options locally are limited. Having said that my 3rd time of staying.

Great stay! They do all the small things really well...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Beautiful view from room. Ans smores at night

We tripped up on this hotel by accident. I typically stay only in the name brands when traveling, unless I get a good recommendation or am familiar with the area. Neither was the case here. We were traveling from Chicago to California with a couple of detours through the national parks. We found the town of Cody on the map and needed a hotel. We took a chance on this one. Unbelievable. The hotel was incredible, the staff was friendly and went out of there way to help us. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great choice.

I traveled with my kids 9 and 6 and was very impressed with the Cody. Very nice luxorious hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The continental breakfast was fabulous with a huge selection. I wish I would have been able to spend more time there are there was a nice jogging/walking path I was not able to enjoy and also they had a nice indoor pool area. I would definitely recommend The Cody to anyone traveling to Yellowstone or Wyoming.

The Cody is nice but a bit pricey. We did try out the pool and hot tub which was OK as well as the complimentary breakfast. The S’mores at night was a big hit with my daughter. The hotel is walking distance to the rodeo which is very convenient as well. I am simply surprised at the high room rates for standard rooms and amenities.

The Cody is a nice 3star hotel. The problem is that it perceives itself as a 5star. It proclaims itself as a luxury hotel on it's entrance. The price was outrageous for what the hotel is. A luxury hotel would have lots of people caring for the guests. Not so much at the Cody. At a luxury hotel, the rooms a quiet because they are designed to be quiet. At the Cody, they have very heavy wooden doors that slam and make noise. I could here kids running up and down the halls. The woman at the desk recommended the "best restaurant in Cody, hands down." It was across the street next to the Rodeo Grounds. The daily special was advertised in a plastic holder sponsored by BudLite. It was a nice average hotel with lots of pretentiousness.

Customer service was outstanding! These folks really made us feel welcome. We chose them because of their dog-friendly policy, and they really are dog-friendly! Room was very comfortable, breakfast was great, staff was extremely friendly! Wouldn't stay any place else in Cody!!

This hotel was the best, so clean, and everything from the shampoo to the bed was top notch. Lobby decorated elegantly. Employee's cheerful and helpful. The pool was nice and clean and open 24hrs which was great. Large ice machine close by our room, and laundry facilities. The continental brkfst was so good. Microwave and fridge automatically in the room, didn't have to request them. Definately would stay there again.

The peole make THE CODY a truly wonderful experience! From making the reservation (call directly for the best rate), to the maintenance man offering marshmallows to the kids to roast over their outdoor fire pit) the staff are truly there to serve their customers! The hotel is situated for optimal views and recreational and cultural opportunities are close by!

Wonderful stay and would recommend

It was a great hotel with plenty of space. The rooms did pick up sound from the floor above and rooms next door that I wish had been more minimized. Also, when I arrived in town, it was during off season and going on 3:00 p.m. I went in and was told that they did not allow check in before 4:00 p.m. There were very few cars in the parking lot and that night, the hotel was far from full. I felt like they should accommodate if the room was ready.

Very nice hotel/motel. Seemed nearly new. Excellent desk staff. Somewhat disappointed by our view. The one side of the building overlooks a utility company's parking lot/storage area. No restaurant in walking distance. However, breakfast was excellent. Also, a bit over-priced.

Excellent place to stay, clean, nice and close to Yellowstone.

Staff was not very friendly, but the room was great.

Awesome place loved the stay will stay again and I have already passed on the information to others going in that direction

Nice hotel. Clean, friendly staff, great breakfast.

This hotel was an unexpected pleasure for many reasons, especially the price for the accommodations. The hotel is modern, rooms spacious. Its location is not in the historic downtown, and that may be its only disadvantage, but most people in Cody will (like us) have a rental car, and with a car, it is only a couple of miles from the Irma Hotel, the Buffalo Bill Center, etc., Its location is actually an advantage if you are going to the Buffalo Bill Dam or the Cody Nite Rodeo. You could actually walk from the hotel to the rodeo arena if the weather is good.

I highly recommend this place if you want to stay in Cody.

This was a great hotel with an awesome free breakfast. The rooms are great with plenty of space. It is on the western side of Cody, not close to downtown, but just across the street from the nightly summer rodeo. We would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel, served hot chocolate cookies in the afternoon and a very nice breakfast.

The hotel staff is very attentive. The hotel is decorated beautifully. Nice by any standards, but compared to what else is available in the area it is real luxury.

Upscale hotel at an affordable price. This was by far the nicest hotel we stayed at during our trip to the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Cody area. Wish we could have stayed longer and used the amenities. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was more than expected. Stay at The Cody if there are rooms, you won't regret it.

Nice place but was surprised at how little counter space for toiletries. In a place this nice, it seemed strange that there was no room for two people to lay their things out.

The classiest hotel in town. The museum is amust!!
