Not bad hotel for price. It is an older hotel but it was a comfortable stay. My only complaint was I could not get the AAA discount becasue I was told "you didn't book it that way". Not sure how I was suppose to book it for next time.

Staff was very friendly, breakfast was great. This is our second stay here, will return again. Nothing fancy, but a good value.

Close to Fallingwater but not great.

The staff people we met were wonderful; we appreciated their kindness. We woke up to an unanticipated 5 inches of snow in late April! the gentleman at the desk went to his car and loaned us his scraper so we could clear the windows. Very nice people, beautiful countryside-

It is not a good place to stay. It is a motel with rooms located outside. Do not stay there during winter times at all. there was a huge hole in our room underneath the door. When we decided to leave the place they mentioned that we going to lose 65% because of that. I had to stay with my kids there but I told them I will write a review for the future customers. Do not recommend highly !!!!

Not bad for the price. My only issue was, the walls are very thin. You will be able to hear everything that happens in the room next to yours. But the place was clean, and affordable.

Nice surroundings, lake for fishing and close to Falling Water, Fort Necessity and Ohiopyle state park.

We went cave exploring about 1/2 mile from this lodge. The convenience was perfect. The room was simple but very clean. The landscape was manicured, peaceful place to be. If you're looking for a decent place to rest and shower and just relax at a reasonable fee, this is it. We were very satisfied.

but great view

We had stayed here years before and thought it was a lovely place. It has seen some wear over the years. It is clean, though there are some areas in the room that was showing wear. It was comfortable and the owners are nice. The breakfast offered was average - coffee, juice, bagel or muffin, 3 types of cold cereal, bananas. We got a good deal for the price but would not have paid any more to stay there.

This motel is on a large piece of land and very wooded. I was there on a snowy night, arrived late. The room is very basic, not much tv, and no wireless. Does have refrig/micro. The heating system is the old "loud unit on the wall" but it worked fine. They could use insulation around the front door. there is a nice deck on each room with a fabulous view. If you are looking for the outdoors this is the place!

This was a lovely location, set back from the road and on a small pond. Not fancy, but clean, quiet, and had a complimentary breakfast. Although it was fall when we were there, I would absolutely come back in the summer if my travels brought me back there.

Cute, rustic little attached cabins with semi-private back decks facing a manmade lake-ette. Frogs serenade you to sleep (not quite blocking out the highway noise just past the pond). Rooms are 'basic', beds a bit squishy, but clean and affordable and nice to sit on the deck til dark watching some dude fishing. Skip the continental breakfast unless you're really hungry - you'd do better to find a restaurant where locals gather for coffee and breakfast. Short drive to Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. Way cheaper than the resorts, but with more character than the chain hotels nearby.

As it is a "lodge" and not a hotel or resort, I wasn't expecting posh accomodations. It was rustic, but clean and the check-in, maid service and continental breakfast were fine. You can only get Wi-Fi in the hotel lobby or deck area as it's not available in the rooms. However, the deck is a large open area and very nice to sit on while using the computer and drinking a cup of coffee or soda. The property is older and smells a bit musty when you first get in to your room. However, all of the rooms have nice patios and when you open the sliding glass door for a few minutes, the room is aired out nicely. Recommended for the outdoorsy type person, but not for someone looking for the luxuries of a resort or newer property.

La chambre est propre avec accès sur terrasse , sympa. Le petit déjeuner est un peu limite en terme de choix et toujours dans des bol , verre en plastique ou polystyrène, la dinette... Hôtel bien placé pour visite fallingwater. Cet hôtel mériterai un peu de rénovation mais reste correcte.
