Best Western Camino a Tamarindo - جوانانكاستي – ساحل شمال الأطلسي

After reading several rave reviews we decided on staying a couple nights here. I was impressed by the pool and that was it. The room itself was not very clean and our friends actually had bugs in their bed and a broken window. We asked for help closing the window and when the guy who was helping disapeared for more than 20 minutes we went looking for him to find him eating food in the lobby. He then sent a very scary mam with a swastika tattoo to finish the job, like I said he was scary and unfriendly. There was no place to get food on location except for breakfast and no room service, they did construction by the pool and the rooms during the day. All in all a motel 6 with a dope pool. I would not come back the this spot.

Great hotel and value for a 3 star, very nice rooms (newly finsihed) with a great pool and very clean and nicely landscaped property. Not your typical 3 star hotel you would expect (compared to others), but I guess they rate this on the amount of amenities available. However, the hotel is situated about 8-10 km outside of Tamarindo, so its reccommended that you have a car to get around, because taxi can be quite expensive. There are shuttles that run to the main town of Tamarindo, but these are scheduled times, twice daily.

This hotel is about 10 km's outside of Tamarindo but dont let that fool you. They have a shuttle service that will not only take you into Tamarindo everyday twice a day they will also take you to surrounding beaches. I suggest you make use of checking out the surrounding areas as well because its beautiful! They have a great continental breakfast, a nice pool and clean rooms. They treat theirs guests great and they speak English. I recommend to stay at this hotel and if I ever go back to Tamarindo this is where I will stay.

My girlfriend and I went to Costa Rica for the week between Christmas and New Years. It's a busy travel time and we booked hotels in November, so our options were fairly limited. The hotel is a 20-minute drive to Tamarindo and a (much worth it) 30-minute drive to Playa Avenillas (which was gorgeous - highly recommended!). The hotel is fine: pretty basic, nice pool which we didn't use once (why would we when we're so close to beautiful beaches!), and a good breakfast. The rooms were ok: small, outdated furnishings, small bathroom, but they get the job done. It's sort of in the middle of nowhere; you have to drive to Tamarindo for food, bars, entertainment, etc. All said, it's a suitable choice if nothing closer to the beach is available. Though I would recommend the hotel, there was a pool party lasting till well after midnight. When I wanted to complain about the noise the reception was closed (by midnight). The security guard on duty finally broke up the party. The hotel should enforce their rules and protect their guests and not leave it up to them.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly accommodating staff. would definitely stay there again.

perfect for the money, you stay only 10 min from the beach but in a nice quiet place. i travel a lot to Tamarindo and this is the best option.

This is an awesome hotel- great deal for the price if you have a car and mobile. Just 10-15 minutes to tamarindo and other beaches like conchal, flamingo and brasilito. Much better than overpriced hotels in tamarindo. The room wAs squeaky clean and the king sized bed was very comfortable. The ac worked well, the breakfast was good and the service was excellent. Free wifi in your room. I would live here again without doubt.

The hotel is 20 minutes away from the town and beach of Tamarindo. But by the time we left (after 3 nights)we decided it was fine due to the great service and free shuttle. The on-site restaurant was also fun enough for us to visit nightly.

Mooi hotel. Ontbijt is OK. Kamers ook. Zeer mooi zwemdok, dat dagelijks gereinigd werd, maar men zou de ontbrekende mozaiksteentjes in het dok toch moeten vervangen vooraleer het een verouderde indruk geeft.We hadden wel verwacht dat het hotel in Tamarindo aan het water zou liggen wat niet het geval is, zodat we 's avonds niet veel konden doen.

Hôtel très bien tenu et très propre à l’écart de la poussiéreuse Tamarindo, très bien fleuri. Contrairement à ce qui est annoncé dans le descriptif l'hôtel n'a ni restaurant, ni lounge bar, ni bar, pas même de mini bar dans les chambres et cela manque cruellement alors qu’il fait si chaud. Il n'y a pas non plus de miroir de maquillage, ni de cafetière/bouilloire. Les petits déjeuner sont minimalistes : deux toasts avec beurre et confiture, un jus d’orange et une assiette de fruits. Il n'y a aucun rangement fermé pour mettre ses affaires dans la chambre seulement des étagères dans la salle bain. Il n'y a aucun siège, chaise ou fauteuil confortable. La chambre est climatisée mais pas la salle de bain. Confort sommaire et insuffisant. Sur huit nuits nous avons eu trois nuits de tapage nocturne (musique très forte dans le voisinage).

Si tienes vehiculo este hotel es el lugar perfecto. Esta cerca de Tamarindo, Flamingo, Playa Grande, lugares para comer. La ubicacion es perfecta. No estoy segura si volveria a pagar ese precio por esos cuartos ya que no son lo que esperaba. La habitacion no tenia tina de baño y habia demasiadas hormigas. El staff es muy amigable y la piscina deliciosa.

Es el lugar perfecto de encuentro, descanso y punto de partida para visitar los paraísos de la zona pampera.

La ubicación del hotel es excelente porque puedes desde ahí movilizarte a todas la playas ( grande concha, potrero, junquillal, tamarindo etc) en poco tiempo cerca del comercio. El hotel sencillo pero limpio cuent acon un apiscina de buen tamaño y en buen estado de limpieza. En general satisfecha, solo esperaba las habitaciones fueran un poquito más grandes pero para 2 personas cumple con lo necesario.

Excelente lo recomiendo, muy buen servicio e instalaciones todo esto con un precio justo.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado. Esta a pocos minutos de varias playas. Ambiente tranquilo y relajante. El tamaño de la piscina es ideal.

piscine de rêves, à mi-chemin entre les deux plus belles plages. adorables petites maison de poupée autour de la grande piscine.

Todo fue excelente, el personal muy atento y profecional. Me gusto mucho. Gracias
