Petit Palace Mayor Plaza - مدريد

Different to most hotels that I've stayed in due to the fact that it prides itself on being ultra-modern. You either feel like you're in a spaceship (good), or youth-hostel (possibly not so good given the price). I liked it, but some visitors might find a little too futuristic. It certainly wasn't cheap, but then this is to stay in the centre of a capital city, so I guess that's inevitable. I would stay there again definitely. One final thing....... the showers are AMAZING..... more powerful than most drive-through car-washes.

Great central location. Decent sized rooms. Computers provided in room, and free internet.

Great location. Rooms a bit small and beds a bit hard. Free internet, but non-convenient solution for iOS devices that needs to re-type password every five minutes or so.

Booked a 4 person family room but they gave it away to someone else. The front desk was apologetic but did nothing to make up for the mistake, Just put us in 2 double rooms that were way too small. The water pipes in the ceiling were leaking and thus created a mass of mold. Told the front desk but they did nothing to clean it and said they couldn't move us due to max capacity. I'm still laughing at the 4 star rating- more like 2.5 on a good day. There are so many other places to stay in Madrid, don't waste your money on this place.

Stayed at petit palace and had a great time in Madrid. Hotel is in great location metres away from plaza mayor but stretch for four stars. Room tidy but small and bed was rock solid not good for sleeping. Also given price expected better but maybe reflection cost accommodation Madrid. Breakfast adequate continental but not much hot selection and very few staff about. Overall good location, tidy but expensive for what get. More like a fancy in central lication travel lodge to me.

This hotel is not very cheap so the cash strapped traveler should be wary. However, it is well worth the price. Central location, modern design, clean rooms, excellent internet facilities, and an efficient, friendly staff make it a no brainer. It was nice to find a place with 3 separate beds.

We stayed one night in this hotel en route back to London. We chose the hotel as the rooms were configured for families with two bunk beds for the kids and a huge king for my wife and I (there was also a drop down bed). Each room had a computer which was really useful in browsing Google Maps to see where we should go and the hotel provided free wifi. The bathroom was huge though we did have a room kitted out for people with restricted access, nonetheless it was great for our needs. Opposite the hotel is an amazing indoor market, Mercardo San Miguel, which was colourful during the day and buzzing at night with great tapas and wine. Overall we loved our short stay here and will look to book again on our next and longer visit to the amazing city of Madrid.

The best thing about this hotel is its location! It is right next to Plaza Mayor and it is a great neighborhood. But the hotel is not a 4 star by any stretch of imagination! The staff is helpful but the rooms are small, decoration is tacky (corridors looks like 80's sci-fi movie sets) and the amenities are nothing special. If you are looking for a clean safe place in this area with reasonable room rates, go for this hotel. But if you are expecting a 4-star treatment (comparable to US standard) you will be very disappointed. I would give it 2.5 - 3 star at best. Also, ask for room with a view of the street. They are much nicer than the rooms that look over the courtyard.

The hotel is decorated in a "we need to be modern so let's look the Starship Enterprise" motif, with an abundance of blue floor lighting that made me wonder if I was there to sleep or to develop photographic negatives. When we went to our room it smelled of smoke despite being a non-smoking room. The staff fixed this right away, moving us to another room--with no toilet paper. The staff again fixed this right away, but we were left wondering what was going to happen next. Thankfully nothing did. So the staff response and courtesy earns 5 stars with the comfort factor barely earning a 3. It is located right off Plaza Mayor (5 stars) but the comfort factor, for the price, outweighed the others in this case resulting in an overall 3 star rating.

Petit Palace May Plaza is centrally located, across the street from Mayor Plaza and walking distance to the Palace, cathredral, parks, museums, Santa Ana Plaza, and metro. The modern decor was lovely and the rooms very comfortable with nice matress, ceramic vanity in bathroom, and large shower. Most convenient was the complementary use of computer in room. Also, it was very convenient to print up a document. Delicious breakfast buffet. would definitely recommend to others and stay there again.

tiny hotel room, good bathroom, great location, but certainly not anywhere near a 4 Star rating. should be 3 or 2.5 desk service lacking---no information given at check in such as internet, breakfast etc.

Although the location of this hotel is great, there are so many in the vacinity that would make for a more pleasant stay. The reception staff are frosty at best and one in particular is just plain rude. Cleaning staff very friendly though. Fridge didn't work and staff had no interest in fixing it and shower flooded

Great location! Centrally located and can walk to almost all major tourist attractions. Across the street from an amazing market which provides a wine and tapas experience. Room gets noisy at night especially during the weekend but wasnt enough to keep me awake. Stayed in high tech room with came with laptop, very convenient. Would definately stay here again!

Nice city hotel for a short stay. Room was small and did not have a comfortable chair but otherwise nicely appointed. Breaklfast excellent. Only down moment was smell of cigarette smoke from another room entering through the bathroom vent. This is a non-smoking hotel so management might not be responsible. I could not call desk in the night to complain because there were no instructions on use of the phone.

Lovely hotel, good location, clean and modern. Friendly staff.

This was my third stay in this hotel and it was all I expected. Clean, confortable and only blocks away from major Metro/Train station. Many attractions are within walking distance. Neighborhood is full of restaurants and shops (including El Corte Ingles). Very safe area plus the computer w/ wi-fi included in each room makes it very convenient. I gladly recommend this hotel.

We were very pleased with our stay and thought this hotel was a very good value for the room rate. The hotel is themed as high tech and is decorated very modernly (think spaceship experience). The hotel was very futuristic, clean and they provided a computer with internet access in each room. We brought our own laptops and the Internet access was the best we had seen in Spain during our stay. The hotel is conveniently located within a block or so of the Mercado, Plaza Mayor and Palace Real. The staff was friendly and professional and the accommodations were comfortable and clean. A very good value for the price -- highly recommend!

This is a high tech boutique hotel in a great neighborhood near the hustle and bustle of central Madrid. It is across the street from a fabulous market where you can buy and taste all the wonderful foods that Spain has to offer. It wasn't too far from a main metro station with many lines that ran into it which would take you almost anywhere in the city. It was very near the Plaza Mayor which is hopping at night. The hotel is very small and dark but the room is well appointed and clean. The bathroom was a good size for such a small room and wi-fi is included with no extra charge which was very nice. It was also an excellent price considering that Madrid is the capial and prices are usually expensive. The staff spoke English and was very helpful when we had to reconfirm a car rental at the airport. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay where the action is, does't need alot of room, will make use of the free w-fi and wants a well priced, contemporary, clean and comfortable hotel. The room is way too small for more than 2 people or if you are traveling with alot of luggage.

The location of the hotel was very good. Everything was close by. The room iteself was rather small, no a/c, even though we asked about it. The bathroomw as big and comfortable. There was no room service. Overall it was ok. Don't know if I would go back.

The hotel was amazing. Very contemporary and stylish I never wanted to come out of bathroom. If you know your staff their furnishings come from Parcelanosa. Service was really good and helpful at all times and 1 minute walk away from main square and 5 mins walk from main shopping area. Already planning to go back to Madrid and stay in same hotel.

We stayed 3 nights at Petite Palace Plaza Mayor.The room although compact was comfortable with a Dell computer in room,a great feature(free internet).The bed comfortable,the bath excellant with a great shower. Location is the key, Plaza Mayor right across the street all the great sights within walking distance.A great value for the money. They also had a special breakfast offer 2 for 1 in August.We took advantage a couple of day's it was excellant but at their normal rate might be a tad on the expensive side.

Fin og glad stemning. Rigtig god service og super flot arkitektur og smukke mexikanske farver. En særpræget og unikt springvand ved indgangen er i sig selv et besøg værd.

Ik ben erg tevreden met mijn verblijf in deze hotel. Het heeft een perfecte ligging, midden in het centrum naast Mayor Plaza, waar je goed bereikbaar bent om in het centrum te wandelen. De kamers zagen er goed en verzorgd uit, en personneel ook vriendelijk. All-in-all, heerlijke kamer.

Morgenmaden ikke særligt god, og morgenmadsrestauranten var meget kold på grund af kraftigt gennemtræk (opholdet var i februar måned). Personalet gjorde ikke noget ved det, selv om vi påpegede det hver morgen. Værelset var ikke så stort, men ellers udmærket.

Después de reservar en el Petit Palace Mayor Plaza, llegué al hotel y me dijeron q me desplazaban x problemas en mi habitación al Petit Palace La Posada del Peine, y la verdad, no me pareció mal. Pero al llegar a la habitación comprobamos q hacía frío ya q las ventanas del balcón no ajustaban bien y entraba mucho frío de la calle y muchísimo ruido. Luego pedí en recepción unas mantas y lo del frío se solucionó. Las almohadas, puesss... la verdad un poco incómodas ya q son muy bajitas.

Wij hadden een zogenaamde familie room geboekt. Kamer was ruim en schoon. Ook het ontbijt was goed. Een echte aanrader voorde stedentrippers. Wel even letten of je de juiste kamer krijgt. Wij waren met drie volwassenen. De eerste kamer die men ons aanbood was een twee persoons kamer met een extra bed erin. Dit bed was echt slecht en je had dan een vrij kleine kamer. Deze kamer hadden wij ook niet geboekt. Nadatbwij hier een klacht over hadden ingediend kregen wij wel de juiste kamer die wij ook geboekt hadden. Het enige nadeel was van de familie kamer dat er 1 twee persoons kamer was en een stapelbed.mdit stapelbed was wat aan de kleine kant voor een volwassene. Voor kinder is dit overigens geen probleem.

Vi var på jobbtur, og alle var meget godt fornøyde både med hotellet og beliggenheten. Kan anbefales på det varmeste til alle som vil bo sentralt i Madrid.

Lo mejor la ubicacion..!a metros de la hermosa Plaza Mayor. Habitacion de espacio justo, que no nos permitio colocar cuna para mi bebe de 10 meses o falta de predisposicion para buscar el espacio para colocarla.. Muy buen servicio para dejar el equipaje despues del check out..y facilidad para usar baños amplios antes de la partida.Para lo que es el hotel es caro.

Helt greit hotell midt i smørøyet av Madrid. Rom med 4 fire køyer er supert for barnefamilier. Bodde i 7. etage - som har litt mindre rom, men med balkong istedet. Siden rommet er litt mindre, ble romløsningen med seng/køyer litt klønete. Rommet jeg så i 6. etasje var mye bedre med hensyn til romløsningen (men der var ingen balkong).

Great location and good facilities except from the bathroom which was not isolated enough. We were three persons, but they gave us a two bed room at first, and we were afraid there were no rooms left. After half an hour we got our three bed room.

Hotel antigo, porém inteiramente reformado por dentro. Notebook do hotel e Internet no quarto. Banheiro muito bom, Chuveiro ótimo. Quarto silencioso, fiquei no fundo do hotel. Bom local geográfico para ficar e caminhar pelos arredores. Próximo de muitas atrações: Catedral Sé; Antigo Palácio Real; Fui caminhando até o Museu do Prado; próximo da Gran Via. Próximo da estação do Metro Puerta del Sol. Dali é possível ir para qualquer lugar de Madri. Foi possível pegar um metro, descer na estação ferroviária de Atocha, fui tranquilamente até Toledo, passei o dia e voltei. Na saída do Hotel (com malas) caminhei dois quarteirões e peguei o Metro, fui para o aeroporto Internacional de Madrid (Barajas). Apenas 2 euros. O hotel Fica encostado a Plaza Major e ao mercado San Fernando. Comer Tapas na região? Melhor fotografar, custo benefício não compensa. Tem um supermercado com bons preços na mesma calçada. Vende frios (jamon), salgados e doces preparados no dia. Vinhos, cervejas e água mineral com preços ótimos. Os restaurantes na região são para turista verem. Caso esteja pensando em comer uma Paella, nos restaurantes da região, a foto dela é sempre mais bonita. Dá para contar os ingredientes de tão pouco que vem. Tinha um bom café da manhã, na ocasição, peguei uma promoção, podiam ir duas pessoas e pagava apenas uma. Recomendo o hotel!

We stayed for three days in Madrid at the Petite Palace, and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a good alternative to the cheap hostels in Madrid without being too expensive. The location is perfect just 30 seconds away from Plaza Mayor:) and located in front of a great market to have breakfast and bars to have drinks/dinner. It was cool having our own laptop in the room. The only bad thing is that breakfast should last a little longer - its difficult to combine breakfast times with long nights in Madrid :) (but that was maybe our fault) :))

På mange måder et rigtig godt hotel med fri wifi, computer på værelset, morgenmadsbuffet, stor altan/terasse, hjælpsomt personale og super beliggenhed. Hvis man ellers synes prisen er rigtig, kan hotellettet anbefales. - Jeg savner dog mere attraktiv foyer, som også giver mulighed for at man kan opholde sig i den, og tilsvarende med lokalet, hvor morgenbuffetten blev stillet frem. Det var bare ikke rigtig indbydende. Og så er det ikke rigtig smart, at badeværelse/toilet er adskilt fra værelset med glasdør (en del af døren er dog materet, men alligevel)

Location location location. You can't get a better spot to stay at in Madrid. Good breakfast, nice clean rooms.

Flott, lite og intimt hotell midt i smørøyet i Madrid. Kort vei til alt. Fine rom, flott bad og dusj. Frokost med varm mat og rundstykker/pålegg, utmerket før bytur. Kjekt med høyhastighets internett på alle rom.Billig og flott boalternativ. Vi trenger ikke lete etter andre hotell neste gang vi skal til Madrid.

Localizaçao privilegiada em pleno centro de Madri, ao lado da Plaza Mayor. Ambiente acolhedor com pessoal solìcito e amàvel. Òtimas instalaçoes.

Hotellrommet var lite, men greit. Det som trekker veldig ned er at det er veldig lytt. Det høres ut som folk sitter i samme rom å snakker. Du får med deg alt som skjer i naborom og gang. Beliggenheten er kjempe bra:-) Det gikk greit for 3 netter, men pga dårlig lydisolering, så ville jeg ha benyttet et annet hotell hvis jeg skulle ha vært der lengere! Badet var kjempe flott:-) og bra rengjøring!

Hotellet ligger så centralt som det overhovedet kan - 50 meter til Mayor Plaza. Men rummet er så småt at jeg ikke kunne have en kufftert liggende nogen steder uden at falde over den hele tiden. Meget moderne og smart hotel
