Nice Breakfast & Service

This was our second trip to Venice, the staff were friendly and helpful, however this hotel should not be classed as a 4 star venue. We had no hot water in our room on the second night, and when we asked downstairs for assistance with this we were told we can not help tonight and its just one night with no hot water! Is this good enough? There was subsiquently no hot water the next night either! Breakfast was substandard for 4 stars, I have had much better in 3 star places at a thrid of the price. No hot food unless you pay extra and if you have to leave before 7.00am you miss out totally. Please don't waste your money as it was a dissapointment which ruined our trip.

We stayed in February for two nights at the Bucintoro during Carnivale week. The hotel is very well situated and nicely appointed, but the room was very cramped for a "Junior Suite" though it had a fabulous view over the water.

In a relaxed area of Venice, this hotel is also just 10 mins walk from St Marks Sq so its a great location. For a 4 star hotel, im not sure its value for money if paying full price but I didn't as I booked with an offer. Excellent condition inside and very clean and tidy etc. My "cheapest" room was quite small and the dark wooden walls added a slight claustrophobic aspect but im sure mine was the smallest room in the hotel. All in all a great hotel!

I booked the Bucintoro because I had stayed there several times in the past ( before it was refurbished,) and knew that the position facing the lagoon was stunning. The hotel no longer has the faded charm of before but it is very comfortable and the staff are attentive and helpful. I was very lucky to be upgraded and could not have been happier with my room up in the roof with its own terrace. Perfect at any time of day, either in sunshine or in the dark with a bottle of Prosecco.

The perfect hotel in the perfect city! Location brilliant, 10 mins walk to St Mark's Square, Arsenale Vaporetta stop close by. We had a wonderful view towards St Mark's Square from our bedroom window.

Nice hotel, great views of the lagoon and the city of Venice. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Two main problems however: the wifi was barely working in our room (only by the front door) and the breakfast area was very small and we had to wait to get a table every morning. Also the breakfast spread was quite limited and a bit disapointing for a hotel of this category. Overall the hotel is a nice place to stay if you are looking for amazing views of Venice. The limited accomodations however might be a problem for some people (no restaurant, no bell hop, no gym).

This hotel was extremely convenient to just about everything in Venice - but then Venice is not that big anyway. It is close to major sights, and just one bridge to cross with your luggage after the ferry drops you off. Staff are very helpful, and the hotel is very very clean. The room we were in was a bit small and cramped, but that would be my only criticism.

Bucintoro is a fabulous small hotel situated in the quiet Arsenale area of Venice, approx 10 mins' walk from the hustle and bustle of St Mark's square, a 2 min. walk from the Arsenale vaporetto boats (which serve Grand Canal, Lido and the airport). The rooms are small but clean, quiet and modern; the breakfast is busy (few spaces - get there early!) but spot on - cereals, fruits, typical mediterranean meats and cheese. The service is decent and the hotel staff are very friendly. You couldn't wish for a better location in terms of quietness at night plus accessibility to main sights and public water transport. And for anyone that fancies running in Venice, which is practically impossible given tourists, bridges and narrow walkways, if you turn left out of the hotel you have a great long run way along the park, with few wanderers in comparison to the rest of this crazy city.

What a lovely hotel! The room was comfortable,and had a view of the canal. People at the reception desk went out of their way to answer questions, provide directions and were very helpful. We'd stay their again--just enough out of the maddening crowd and close enough to walk to everything.

We loved this hotel. The location was perfect. 5 minutes walk to S.Marco square but out of the way of the tour groups.The room was slightly small but beautiful with a great view. Guests at the hotel should take the boat to Aresenale and its a 2 minute walk from there. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Venice! It was convenient to a dock for catching the water taxi or bus. The front-desk was very helpful and they spoke English. Our room was on the 2nd floor in the corner of the building and we had a fabulous view of the Canal and in the distance, St. Mark's Square. The room itself was gorgeous and had all the amenities you could need.

We stayed for four nights in Easter week. Hotel Bucintoro lived up to the many great reviews it receives. The staff deserve particular praise - they were all friendly, attentive and helpful but not overbearing. Our room was compact but well appointed, clean and well maintained. The only negative was that the bed was two singles pushed together to make a double and the mattresses were very firm and a bit uncomfortable. Overall, I would strongly recommend this hotel for a short break in Venice.

I picked the Bucintoro because it had particularly good reviews from other travellers. I'm pleased to be able to add another positive review to the collection. The location of the hotel near the Arsenale vaparetto stop is a great combination of being central enough for exploring the city on foot but just far enough from the tourist epicentre to be less crowded and noisy. Rooms, although small were in very good condition and a lot of effort had gone into the nautical themed decoration. We had a problem with our shower not working and it was immediately repaired when we mentioned it at reception. Worthy of mention is the especially good breakfast buffet which had a very impressive range of items and is served in a room with great views across the city and the lagoon. All in all, an excellent hotel choice for a tourist base or a romantic getaway.

This is a small 20 room hotel that has a spectacular location with great veiws from all rooms (so I am told). The location near the Evaporado stop (the local water bus) makes the hotel easy to find. I recommend buying a 48 hour Evaporado pass and taking the Evaporado from the train station or the airport to the hotel. No need for an expensive water taxi. The rooms were very nicely appointed and very clean. The breakfast buffet was just perfect. My only complaint was that our room was small, but we were in an older city in Europe and we didn't book the top room in the hotel. This hotel is on the Grand Canal and a 5 minute walk from Piazza San Marcos.

This is the one - fantastic location with jaw dropping view from room, very comfortable bedroom, friendly staff and efficient service. Also very convenient for the major sites and the water bus is right on your doorstep. What more could you want? We'll be back!!

Try and get a top floor room with a view on San Marco .... can only describe this as amazing! It feels like you are on a ship as it is decorated in wood and cream leather and furnishings. Very clean. Breakfast was ok, crossaints, boiled egg, rolls, cake, fruits, cereals and twinings tea! Service excellent. The only minor thing was they didnt have an iron on the premises, so iron your clothes before you go!

Great location & views from our room. Room was on the small side but was well looked after, very clean & comfortable. The staff were all pleasant & helpful. Would definitely stay there again!

Lovely rooms, beautiful products and elegant bathrooms. Clean as you would expect from a 5 star review. Staff were helpful especially the young concierge who helped me change my dinner reservation a dozen times! Has internet which is handy.

The hotel Bucintoro is everything you could want for a wonderful stay in Venice. It is in a perfect location about 7-8 mins walk from San Marco but away from the crowds. Eating breakfast (fantastic buffet style) and sipping evening drinks (try Spritz or Prosecco) on the terrace looking at the boats coming and going was a highlight. The staff were very friendly and helpful; the hotel was clean and comfortable. Our room was quite small but nevertheless immaculate. We were on 4th floor so views were incredible. Hotel Bucintoro is convenient for vaporetii stop, Arsenale, (just over bridge). Would go back again and again and recommend the hotel to everyone.

朝起きて窓を開けると、サンマジョーレからサンマルコの鐘楼、輝く海　とても素敵な景色が目に飛び込みます。 それだけでも、このホテルに泊まってよかったと思いました。少しお値段はしますが、お勧めするホテルです。 【場所】　静かでとても便利　アクセスもよい。 ARSENALEからひとつ橋を渡ったところです。ヴァポレット1番が停車しますので便利です。2番の快速は隣のZaccariaで停車します。徒歩１０分もかかりませんが、橋4本越える必要があり、スーツケースでは石畳でけっこう大変です。空港からのアリラグーナBLUEライン（16ユーロ）がどちらの乗り場も停まります。サンマルコ広場も10分ほどで海を見ながら歩け、とてもよい散歩です。裏のカステッロ地区を歩くと、下町っぽくて雰囲気があります。 中心の喧騒からも少し離れているので静かで落ち着きます。 【部屋】　十分広く快適 ダブルのシングルユース。ベニスにしてはスーツケースを2個十分広げられる広さです。身長が高い人はすこしベッドが小さいかもしれません。 バスタブがあり、石張りできれいで気持ちよく、清掃も十分でした。水、お湯の出も十分量です。何も問題ありません。 ドライヤー　化粧鏡などの備品もありました。 【眺め】　晴れた日の朝　夕景は最高です。 眺めは本当に素敵です。朝日に海が輝きベニスを実感できます。ラグーンビューをリスエストすべきです。 【スタッフ】　とても気持ちよい応対です。 英語で問題ありません。フロントの方、ボーイの方、ルームメイドの方、レストランの方、は何も問題ありませんでした。皆さんにこやかに気持ちよく挨拶、対応をしてくれます。 【朝食】 フルーツミックスがありがたく、とてもおいしかったです。特にオレンジが甘かった。ハム、チーズなどあります。卵料理などは有料でオーダーできます。座席が12テーブルくらいか、少し狭いので時間帯では混みました。

Ottimo albergo in bellissima posizione dominante riva degli Schiavoni, San Marco, la Salute e San Giorgio Maggiore. Personale molto cortese e professionale. Berlla camera arredata con cura e perfettamente pulita. Buon rapporto qualita' prezzo.

Perfekte Lage am Quai mit herrlicher Aussicht auf die Lagune, etwas abseits des Touristenstromes und doch nur 8 Min vom Markusplatz. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, schönes Zimmer! Was will man mehr!

Consiglio fortemente questo albergho anche per il soggiorno piu' lungho: personale molto amabile, servizio di eccellente qualita'. Vado spesso a Venezia e questo albergho e' stata una bella sorpresa.

Hotel maravilloso junto a la laguna de Venecia. Muy buen situado junto a San marcos, con unas vistas espectaculares. El desayuno delicioso, y las habitaciones muy romanticas.

Très bel hôtel avec une situation et une vue exceptionnelle. Petit déjeuner parfait et personnel très souriant.

Emplacement agréable mais tempéré par la présence apparemment régulière de yacht énormes avec un sens de l'esthétique qui nuit au charme général. Nous avons réservé une junior suite pour nous retrouver avec une chambre handicapée certes agréable avec un décor soigné et une literie très confortable mais bon.. Pas de terrasses, accueil plutôt froid que chic mais poli. Pafait pour y dormir, pas pour y séjourner

Veramente un ottimo hotel, particolare e strategicamente 'perfetto'.

Escolhemos esse hotel para o início da lua de mel e ficamos muito satisfeitos (sem qualquer pacote especial para a ocasião). Tivemos um pequeno problema de superaquecimento da água, mas imediatamente fomos transferidos para um quarto de categoria superior. Funcionários muito atenciosos e quartos muito charmosos: cheios de detalhes em madeira e pedras, lembrando cabines de navios. Uma dica para muito válida para quem for conhecer Veneza é se informar sobre os vaporettos (barcos de transporte coletivo), inclusive para chegar do aeroporto ao hotel. São muito convenientes de serem usados.

hôtel très agréable à quelques minutes de la Place San Marco et du Rialto. Deux reproches , le manque d'endroit à l'extérieur pour pouvoir se détendre après une longue journée de marche dans les rues de Venise, et la qualité du buffet du petit déjeuner.

Hôtel bien situé à 8 minutes de Place Saint-Marc, près de l'action tout en étant tranquille. Hôtel très bien tenu et accueillant. Chambres petites par contre. Hôtel sympathique à 20 chambres.

Très bon choix pour cet hôtel situé idéalement à Venise face aux îles de la lagune. Vue de la chambre et de la salle de petit déjeuner à couper le souffle sur les quais, la mer, la place St Marc, etc... Personnel adorable et très professionnel. Chambres impeccables très propres. Très calme. Proche de la station vaporetto Arsenale d'où part/arrive la navette fluviale "linea rossa" pour l'aéroport. La place St Marc est à moins de 10min à pied en longeant les quais en profitant de la vue dégagée. Nous avons adoré et conseillons cet hôtel sans réserve aucune !

El Hotel Bucintoro en Venecia es una joya, lo tiene todo: excelente ubicación, la mejor atención, las habitaciones son hermosas con excelente decoración y apropiado tamaño. Está a la orilla del canal, la vista es espectacular.

Das Hotel ist schön gelegen, weit genug vom Hauptstrom der Touristen, nah genug an der Vaporetto Station um schnell überall zu sein. Hotel ist gepflegt, Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam, Zimmer etwas klein aber sauber, Frühstück ok, nicht sehr abwechslungsreich, eher italienisch, ein Capucino und ein bischen was Süßes dazu, und man kann draussen sitzen. Kann ruhigen Gewissens weiterempfohlen werden, auch wenn ich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis grenzwertig , aber noch ok, finde. Ist halt Venedig, und für einen romantischen Kurztrip mit Wohlfühlgarantie darf es nicht an an ein paar Euro mehr für ein angemessenes Hotel fehlen - war ein toller Trip ;-)

Hotellet er et lite og koselig hotell. Veldig god mottagelse i resepsjonen av en mann som snakket godt engelsk. Det gjorde også de andre i resepsjonen. Ble vist vei til rommet og fikk koffertene fraktet opp. Små rom etter norsk standard, men veldig fint rom og bad. Som ellers i Italia er madrassen hard, men med god italiensk vin i magen til kvelds sover man godt. Ligger få meter fra stoppen til båtbussen fra flyplassen, slik at det er enkelt selv om man har tunge trillekofferter. Frokosten er ikke som på et norsk hotell, men god standard ,og man kan kjøpe f.eks egg og bacon, omelett. Om vi skal tilbak til Venezia, er det en stor mulighet for at vi velger samme hotell, så lenge ikke barna er med, da dette vil kreve større rom enn dette hotellet har.

Posizione magnifica soprattutto per visitare la Biennale d'Arte ma anche per stare via dalla folla pur essendo in centro. Personale gentilissimo, poche camere tutte con vista, atmosfera intima e personalizzata.

Vi boede i en suite med en HELT UTROLIG UDSIGT ud over vandet og Venedig kajen hen mod Marcus Pladsen. Morgenmaden var rigtig god i flotte omgivelser og mulighed for at side ude ved havne kajen. Meget professionelt og imødekommende personale og meget flotte værelser / badeværelser. Kan anbefales til alle!
