Novotel London Paddington - لندن

It's not convenient from Paddington station to hotel if you have large luggages.Because there are some stairs you must pass through.

My daughter and I had 2 nights at the Novotel and were very impressed with the place. The reception staff were absolutely first class. Friendly, efficient, cheerful and concerned to do their best for us. We had our room up-graded with extras thrown in which resulted in a very comfortable room, modern facilities and a view. It is a 5 minute walk from Paddington station which is great for the express to Heathrow and for accessing the underground system. I would definitely stay there again.

Check out time of 12noon is really good, location and surrounding coffee shops/restaurants are very handy - also v nice for a stoll along the canal to Maida Vale or Camden. Staff on reception were very friendly. On the down side, on both morning my husband went for a swim but was dissapointed to find that the sauna hadnt been turned on so he didnt have time to use it. Also, we we given the disabled room (as no standard rooms available even though i'd booked one months in advance), and as such the bathroom didnt have a bath in it which I found very dissapointing as that is a luxury that I would enjoy on a weekend away. Someone kept coming into our room to check the mini bar which was very off putting, they did not leave enough time after knocking for us to ask them not to come in, which could have been awkward - I didnt like this practice at all and was told that they have to check the mini bar frequently. It's not very restful when you are having an afternoon snooze to have a hotel staff member come in your room. One last thing - I left my mobile phone charger plugged into a socket beneath the TV - when I rang about it they said that house keepiong hadnt found anything, which frankly I dont believe, I think it's just too much hassle for you to post these things back to people so you probably just throw them away. Hence my overall rating of 3.

Really polite and helpful staff, something the UK doesnt generally do well. Breakfast very good. The only downside was that we were looking forward to relaxing in the sauna and spa, only to discover that nobody had bothered to switch it on! Also it is unsupervised which means that kids can go around leaving sauna and steam room doors open!!!!

The Novotel is a good backup to the Hilton in a pinch. It's a lovely walk through a pedestrian only area and square with lots of services along the canal. However there are steps to climb during Paddington construction, and a cobbled walkway for part of the distance, which makes any larger bag hard to manage. The rooms are minimal but clean, and the staff was lovely. I would stay here again, as long as I had only a carryon bag with me!

Spent one night tat Novotel Paddington b/4 Cardiff vs liverpool carling cup football final in feb.Great location for underground only couple of stops from wembley and a couple more for london shops and site seeing.Great value we had a double bed and a bed seatee ,My two son 15/17 years of age used the gym and we all used the pool.Great place to stay will use again at later date.

We were a family of 2 adult and 3 children. Good facilities, nice swimmingpool for the small ones and a very service.minded - staff.

this is a fantastic hotel. while the hotel may be hard to find initially, it is right across the street from Paddington Station, which makes it close to everything in London. It is very modern, with clean and comfortable rooms. This hotel is family friendly, and also perfect for the business traveler. The on-site restaurant is really nice, if you chose to dine in. The best part about this hotel, though, is the staff. The staff members are exceedingly friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anybody.

Brand new area, very close to Paddington station. Good size room for a London hotel at this rate. Very quiet in spite of location, nice stay.

I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London who arrives at padding ton. It is just a 5 minute walk to drop off your luggage then your free to get on with your plans. The hotel is smart, friendly and the breakfast was fabulous.

Excellent Hotel.Great location with easy access to several tube lines via Paddington station.Make sure you read the walking directions on the hotel's website,otherwise could be difficult to find(only about 3 mins walk from Paddington).Excellent breakfast,good modern clean environment. There is a small supermarket and several restaurants within a 2 minute walk from hotel. Would happily recommend this hotel.

This off the beaten path hotel is a real gym. It is within walking distance to Paddington Station, which makes it close to everything in London. But because it is off a side street, the hotel is very quiet and away from the crowds. The hotel is very modern and the rooms are decent size. It has a great on-site restaurant also. But what makes this hotel a Fantastic hotel is the staff. The staff are super friendly and very eager to please. I've stayed in some great hotels before, but the staff at this hotel are far and above bettter than any I've ever seen. I recommend this hotel to everybody!!!!!

Excellent service. Room was clean and spacious. Despite it's proximity to Paddington and major roads, the room was peaceful and quiet with decent views of the city. Only two extremely minor issues - firstly, despite a "do not disturb" sign on the door handle a cleaner tried to enter the room at 8am on one morning. Secondly, one side of the bed seemed to be on a very slight incline downwards so I always woke up a little close to the edge! Otherwise a very pleasant city centre hotel.

Very convenient location , 5 minutes from Paddington station, perfect for the early morning flight via the Heathrow express. Very well appointed room, Gym pool etc if you are that way inclined. A bit of a soulless concrete jungle around but not a problem for an overnight halt.

Very pleased with our room, clean and tidy to a high standard.excellent service from the staff on reception, very helpfull. Had food from room service and that was also very good. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Nice modern clean hotel. Very pleasant staff. But it's too quiet in there. Located at end of a 5 minute walk through modern office development ,devoid of atmosphere . There are a several bars, restaurants and food outlets, but there was nothing happening in them at the weekend. It has a nice little swimming pool ,a major bonus in London.We did'nt have breakfast.(very pricey). So, to be fair to the hotel ,it has a lot of good points. I would reccomend it , but the location may not be to everybody's liking.( Mine included).

with our grandson on our first London break together. Faultless service,great food,breakfast up to their top class standard,room suited us .He loved the Xbox,computers and swimming pool. He chose a DVD from a good range of DVDs for kids. We arrived at Paddington so had no roads to cross. Now its his favourite hotel as well as my wife's!

Located in a new commercial/retail/residential complex within an easy and safe walk to London's Paddington station, this modern hotel is a lovely oasis with easy access to the city and the country. Staff were friendly and helpful. Train and bus access was fantastic. Access to restaurants and convenience shops, ATM all.easy.

we had a lovely stay, the room was big enough for the two of us, clean and fresh, bathroom was lovely, althogh the seperate loo was a bit strange, staff couldnt be more helpfull. fab

We claimed before arrival and at booking for early check-in. This was not possible. We did not a get a room in time for our appointment. Service at desk was appalling. We highly recommend to stay at other Paddington locations.

Nice new Hotel in modern business area. Breakfast very good. 5 minutes walking distance to Railway station (endstation Heathrow express) and Tube.

As noted with the 5 rating the hotel was great. Only two small issues: 1. in this day and age WiFi is a must. While the hotel did have this facility it charged 9 pounds for 24 hours. I believe it should be free with the room. 2. unusual room configuration with the toilet in a seperate room to the shower, bath and sink. While I don't mind the toilet being seperate there should be a sink in the same room to wash your hands - not that you have to leave that room to go to the sink via the main bedroom. (might just have been the room we got but it was a standard double?)

7 minutes walk from Paddington station (good location). New hotel fully loaded with beautiful pool and sauna (wet and dry). huge room!!! (1022) relativly to London. shops just minute walk from the hotel. BEST CHOICE!

Not a good location for central London sightseeing, although Paddington station is only a 10 minute walk so it makes everything easy to get to just not close. A nice hotel to stay at none-the-less.

This is a lovely modern hotel with good facilities. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean except someone had forgotten to do the toilet! Parking is a 3 minute walk away and the hotel is centrally placed near Paddington station. I would certainly stay here again if I need a hotel in London.

The Superior Room I stayed in was extemely small room (15 sqm) with a seperate bathroom and toilet. The bathroom would not fit 2 grown people and the generel comfort of the room would be suitable for a 2 star hotel.

Cant fault this hotel found it to be perfect in every way and has even got a pool and sauna as a added extra, breakfast was buffet and really good quality, will defo stay here again.

We stayed with our 10 year old daughter and had a great stay, nice hotel good food and easy to get to. Just round the corner from Paddington Station.

Stayed at the Novotel Paddington last weekend for 2 nights. It was an absolute treasure. The location is fantastic for getting into central London & it is so safe. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful & the rooms, well they speak for themselves. I was so so impressed & I would 100% definitely stay here again plus I have recommended it to all of my friends & family. Well worth booking!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on our way back to Australia... We have lived and worked in London so have some idea of standards.. This hotel was very modern, excellent internal facilities. Location slightly off the main drag for London attractions but only aprox; 10 minute walk to station. We had a standard room with pull down sofa bed shared with our 9 year old son. Breakfast was good value, staff friendly and helpful. Good value booked in advance of stay.

I stayed here with one of my friends while in london. When we walked in the staff was super friendly and asked us questions to make sure our stay is going to be comfortable. The hotel and room are clean and well maintained. The beds are also comfortable as well. Paddington station is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel, which saved us money on taxis. They even provided free wi-fi in the lobby and computers. I absolutely loved my experience here and would stay here again.

Although this hotel has been renovated , it does not have a modern atmosphere to it. The floors in the hallways actually slope down in several areas, with caution signs posted to "be careful of these slopes" The rooms themselves are dreary...old,dark, unstylish decor.The windows are high and you literally have to climb up on the window sill to open or close these windows!!! The washroom is small...there is no bath, just a shower...there is no space to put a cosmetic bag , except on the toilet tank!!! The hotel receptionist told us there was wireless internet in the rooms, but we could not connect to it...when we called down to the front desk the clerk was very abrupt, saying that maybe the connection was just slow!! The front desk staff were unfriendly and not at all helpful..the icing on the cake to our stay here was the morning of our departure...we had an early flight out of London, so we went down and checked out at 7:30 a.m. As we were leaving the hotel, a clerk at the front desk, who was in the middle of dealing with another guest interrupted her conversation with this guest to SHOUT out to us "What is your room number?" She had WRONGLY assumed that we were trying to skip out without checking out...this was very humiliating, especially given that there were other guests around. A very disappointing experience! We would most definitely not recommend this hotel!!!!!

Convenient location between the station and nice walks through Little Venice. Modern, efficient, friendly staff, everything as it should be. A little bland and corporate, but it's a chain, so inevitable. Overpriced, but not compared to similar hotels in London, which are all ridiculously overpriced. I'd stay there again.

this hotel was in a very good location, so close to Paddington train station. Also there were many restaurants close by. our stay was a short one but enjoyable

Everyone had a smile and a welcome. Very comfortable and nothing too much trouble. Have stayed there twice and would stay again.

Excellent hotel in a slightly odd spot if you're a tourist. If youre working in the area then great, but otherwise feels slightly removed from London. But close to Paddington station, very well appointed and a lovely place to stay. Great breakfast, nice rooms of a great size for London and good gym / pool etc.

We were in London on business mainly but did combine it with a bit of pleasure. The Novotel was superb ideal location next to the station and with no noise from it at all.Excellent tube and bus links on the door step. All the staff were very pleasant and polite a credit to the the person who recruits or trains them. Room was spotless with everything you needed, mini bar, toiletries,hairdryer.tv etc and very comfy beds.Breakfast perfect superb choice well presented and well cooked. When visiting London again will book the hotel again without hesitation.
