I am a 5 star queen and was skeptical about staying 4 star. As a business traveler also a grea spot to do your business in the area, close to everything, I would stay here again, and again and would recommend it to everyone! Great value, great breakfast, great Bar offering wonderful snacks with your drinks...!

Stayed early June 2011, breaking our Journey from Positano. The hotel is in ideal location , just off the main square & main shopping/ restaurant area. A niche hotel, modern/ minamalistic , but bright stylish design (Worth small extra cost for at least a comfort room which we had). Excellent rooftop pool area, although over the two days we were there, seem to be short staffed inthe pool bar ( But they were under pressure from an American tourist group). Excellent small infinitey pool, really nice staff, and amazing breakfast presentation/ choice. Highly recommended ! K & S Purvis ,Newcastle , England .

This hotel was like staying in America. Large room with a balcony. The bathroom was also large and they had a real hair dryer not the blowers you usually get. Best breakfast we had during our trip. Close to everything. Easy walk from train station and one block from Piazza Tasso.

We could not fault the service, the staff were all very helpful, friendly and attentive. Our room was very modern, comfortable with a king-sized bed and quality bedding, a balcony and well equipped bathroom. Only small criticism was that it was a little small for seven nights. Breakfasts were superb - especially if you enjoy delicacies prepared by pastry chef. Even though it is located just a stone's throw from hustle and bustle of main square, the hotel is very peaceful. Enjoyed jazz piano and drinks with high class nibbles in trendy bar. Would highly recommend it to business people and those looking for a tranquil stay but still extremely central. Rooftop terrace very pleasant with fabulous views if weather is good.

Great location, very clean, friendly staff. My only complaint is that of all the hotels we stayed at in Italy, it was the only one that charged us for breakfast.

The Plaza Hotel was a fabulous place to stay with an amazing breakfast buffet. Our room had the best shower that I have ever used. The central location and closeness to the train station made day treking very easy.

I'd recommend the Hotel Plaza. The location is very central, short stroll to main plaza and 10 minutes to bus and train station. Hotel is bright and clean, recently done up (I think), shower in bathroom is very powerful and breakfast buffet is great (especially if you have a sweet tooth). Not all staff speak English, but not an issue really.

Location: right where the bus (from the port) drops you off. Within walking distance to the train station and in the center of town. In other words, very convenient to everything, but still quiet enough not to interfere with sleeping! Staff: Excellent. Very helpful and knowledgeable. We used Sorrento as a base to explore the various ruins and found their advice invaluable. Breakfast: Very good! Rooms: Very modern and new, but quite comfy, WiFi worked (they also have computers downstairs you could use.) Everything very clean. Bathrooms: Extremely clean. Small shower (of course, this is Italy!) but with a huge shower head that really delivers HOT water! Not sure what was up with the square toilets, though. View: We had a view of someone's rooftop garden--I imagine the street side wouldn't be so quiet. Price: Very reasonable! And we were there during a holiday week! We stayed in 5 different hotels during our two weeks touring the Amalfi Coast area, and this was our favorite hotel.

The staff at Hotel Plaza was fantastic. Great Hotel to stay at in Sorrento. I love the staff, all were great. Breakfast very good. They cater to your every need. The Eco theme is real and they live it. Ideal home base to see many important sites.

We loved our stay in Hotel Plaza in Sorrento following on advice from tripadvisor's fellow travellers. It is a great hotel, in very good taste, with the exception of the paitings on the walls! in a central location close to all amenities and restaurants, Bus and Train Stations, with plenty of good or excellent restaurants nearby. The staff was great and helpful, and I would not hesitate to return. Breakfast was incredibly delicious and plentiful, we gorged ourselves every morning! Sorrento is a great base to explore the Amalfi Coast and the archeological sites, and this hotel was a fantastic choice.

My family and I LOVED the Hotel Plaza in Sorrento. The location was Perfect. The rooms had comfortablel beds w/ wonderful showers in the bathrooms. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the staff who waited on us were all so incredibly friendly and helpful.

Hotel Plaza is located 2 mintues away from Piazza Tasso but quiet and comfortable. The rooms were pristine, the bathrooms were pristine. The service was excellent. This was the best hotel we stayed out during our 12 day trip for the price.

Everything was good at the Plaza and some things were great. We loved the shower (one of the best we ever had), the breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect to walk around Sorrento. Even being in the busiest part of the city, the room remained very quiet. Only minor complaint is about the size of the room, a little bit smaller than what we expected. Our was a Standard, number 406.

The location was convenient to both transportation and the heart of Sorrento. If staying for a longer period and during the summer, the hotel has a roof-top pool and looks to be very social. We travelled off-season and were not able to use these amenities. If you like the modern feel of a good Italian hotel this is it. A good value for the money and we would stay here again.

Great location to main city street for shopping and restaurents.Have to go down steps to the ferry dock so we took a taxi for 10 E.Train station also close by but took taxi as we did not want to be dragging our baggage down the street.

stopped here after seeing reviews on tripadvisor. it is an excellent hotel, right next to main square, close to bus and rail station. staff really friendly and go out of their way to help. The rooms were beautifully clean. cant comment on evening meals as we ate out , but breakfasts were good. would definitely stop here again

The location is fantastic, just off the main sqaure so still peaceful but excellent central location. Front of the hotel (and our comfort room here) had a balcony which overlooked the oldest part of Sorrento (which also forms part of the Antiche Mura Hotel so this hotel blocks some of the view of the bay for the Antiche Mura residents!). Staff absolutely wonderful, couldn't do enough to help and very friendly. Recently renovated this hotel has a fantastic, crisp, clean modern interior whilst not being too clinical- very chic and stylish. Bar roof terrace and infinity pool are a sight to be believed and has the best view overlooking the bay of Naples and Sorrento. Couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough!

We recently stayed in a triple room in September and we loved it. It was right in the center area, great location to walk to shops and restaurants. Short bus ride or walking distance to the pier. We also walked to the train station to go to Pompeii. We would definately stay here again!

My husband and I stopped at this hotel for the last 2 days of our honeymoon and from the moment we arrived, we experienced nothing but a fantastic experience. The hotel is located right in the hub of Sorentto. The reception staff were very warm and helpful and we immediately had access to all the information we needed. The hotel and rooms are all very modern and the rooftop pool was a great little oasis away from the hub of Sorentto!

Fiz pesquisa detalhada na internet antes de escolher o hotel, e valeu a pena. Atendimento ótimo e com muita simpatia. Excelente atendimento no balcão de entrada pela Ana. Apesar de não aparentar pelas fotos e pela fachada discreta, o hotel é novíssimo, clean e moderno. Café da manhã é ótimo, muito superior a média. WiFi grátis e funciona perfeito, inclusive no quarto. Cofre no quarto. Quartos com amplo espaço e decoração moderna. Camas e travesseiros super confortáveis (difícil achar travesseiros assim), banheiro moderno, com banheira e todos assessórios para banho. Frigobar bom, paguei pela água mineral menos do que qualquer lugar na Itália. Peguei quarto de fundos, silencioso. Impecável no quesito limpeza. Elevadores amplos e modernos - portas de vidros transparentes e dentro espelhos. Localização perto de tudo - trem, centro e até para o porto dá prá ir a pé (em geral os outros hotéis maiores que eu tinha pesquisado estavam mais distantes e necessitavam de transporte). Sair a noite ali perto é tudo de bom. Estive em toda Costa Amalfi, e lamento não ter ficado só em Sorrento, e neste hotel, que fiquei 4 dias. Comércio e ótimos restaurantes próximos. Ficaria ali de novo, mas por vários dias. Relação custo benefício não poderia ser melhor, pois além de tudo, consegui ótimas tarifas pelo que obtive.

Os funcionários do Hotel são atenciosos e o Hotel possui ótima localização. Ficaria nele novamente.

Hotel com ótima localização, apesar de nao estar de frente para o mar. Ao lado da piazza Tasso, da Corso Italia e da estação de trem. Cafe da manha com varias opções, hotel com apesas 3 anos de idade, ou seja, tudo novinho e alem claro da simpatia dos funcionários da recepção e do restaurante

Hotel récent, très design, ce qui est rare dans la région. Chambre un peu petite, mais très confortable. Petite salle de bain, très bien équipée, très tendance . Petits déjeuners extraordinaires. Et toujours un personnel adorable.

Hotel charmoso e reformado, todo limpo e muito confortável. O café da manha foi excelente e com opcoes de iogurtes, cereais, omelete, paes, doces, frutas, tudo que possa se desejar, e com muito bom gosto! Se localiza apenas a 2 passos da praca principal e do comércio de Sorrento, uma cidade muito charmosa. Recomendamos a estadia!

Hotellet er fint og placeringen er fantastisk hvis man er til shopping, små gader med foretninger og masser af restaurenter lige om hjørnet. Men er man i bil er det meget omstændigt at komme af med bilen, fra hotellets side gør man hvad man kan men der er ikke noge p.pladser forand hotellet så ,an holder i vejen når man skal checke ind. Der er dog et stort p.hus på den anden side af gaden (hotellet anvender også det.) der kan man parkere uden problemer.

This is a newly renovated hotel (2008) and the standard is very high. The staff is very friendly we got help with everything from a late check-out to the train tables. The rooms are very chicly decoreated in a modern style with a specific colour of the room depending on which floor you live. It is located in the heart of Sorrento with walking distance to the bus/train station and the historic part of town.
