Saint Judes Boutique Hotel & Apartments - غلاسغو

On arrival the receptionist was very friendly and showed us to our room. As there was no coffee in the room she offered us a latte for the inconvienence and brought up some coffee for our stay. The hotel was within walking distance to pubs and restaurants and only 30 mins walk from the SECC. Only gripe would be the noise at night once the night clubs ended but other than that it was a pleasant stay.

This Hotel could be lovely but it is being neglected. There was no champagne in the champagne fridge in the room. There was no nespresso pods for the nespresso machine in the room. Phoned twice about the coffee which I was told would be sent up. Found out the next day that they in fact did not have any left. Reported 2 lightbulbs out which made the room quite dark. They were never changed. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off in several places. There was no shower gel only a shampoo. The built iPod docking station in the wall did not work. The Hotel could certainly be so much more with the right management. Breakfast was nice but the coffee machine was something of dirtiest I have ever seen. Kim and Aggie would have a field day with a swab from that. The staff were nice and friendly. The room was clean. But I'm afraid I would not recommend this hotel.

We stayed here mid week. The room was nice however the carpet was torn. Overall we did like the room. Our concerns were more about the service. We asked for an iron which never came until the following mornIng after a reminder. The main issue was breakfast. They advise that hot breakfast is available from 8. We went at 8 but the chef was late. There was only cereal and fruit. There was no apology. Overall nice room but not great service.

The staff were fantastic,especially Jamie..Lovely big room ,and close to the city centre..We were very pleased with everything and would rate it as one of the best hotels we stayed in in Europe

gutted i took my wife for romantic night away.room was like an oven. window was falling away from the frame{ivy tree was stopping it from falling out onto the street.couldnt open it.non stop fighting all night outside with drunken thugs.dont have alot of spare cash and wasted it here.only thing that was nice was the staff

Had the deluxe double or something like that. Room was tastefully decorated and well equipped. The 'king sized bed' was in actuality 2 separate mattresses under one sheet so there was always a big gap in the middle of the bed....not the best if you like cuddling/sharing the middle of the bed. The bathroom could have been cleaner, it just didn't seem like whomever cleaned it put that much effort into it. With these complaints in mind, it was still a very nice hotel room.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The only drawback was breakfast in morning was continental unless you wanted to wait till after 9 am for a hot breakfast which we prefer. We didn't realize that when we booked.

Deafening noise, lax security, AWOL staff and shabby interiors. This is not a four-star hotel; it's an over-glorified youth hostel. The noise is unbelievable. It's a six-room hotel with a nightclub on the main floor Saturday and Sunday nights, every night in the basement. There's virtually no security: the front desk was unmanned for hours at night while the front door was unlocked and drunken clubbers roamed everywhere. A call down to reception one evening rang for 40 minutes before anyone picked up. Filthy carpets, holes and visible patches in the walls; no one around to even serve tea at breakfast -- this is so far from four stars it's laughable. An embarrassment to hotels.com.

A hotel that has seen its day - obviously needs refurbishment which they have started but our room had a window that couldn't close making for a very noisy night, breakfast served in the bar - only toast ofered by a chap who walked in hurriedly with a toaster to plug in. Staff friendly but they are let down by dirty carpets and messy building. A shame.

You couldn't get a better location in Glasgow with an abundance of good restaurants,bars and nightclubs close at hand. A 5 minute walk to the City shops and on the main airport bus route. The hotel itself had friendly relaxed staff. The room I had was 'tired' and needed new carpets and curtains and had a distinct lack of wardrobe space. A very good full Scottish breakfast was served each morning with plenty of tea and toast. IThe downstairs bar was friendly and welcoming but staff a little vague. Overall this hotel needs some loving care and attention. With a lick of new paint and some new carpets it would be so much better.

Great location, friendly staff, very well maintained. But "Deluxe double" rooms vary greatly in size, noise, and amenities. Web site description of "Deluxe double" states minimum size, # of windows, bath robes, slippers that are not in every room. Rm#1 great size, no closet, noisy if activities underway in meeting room/bar below. Room #4 tiny, cannot walk around bed, hot, 1 window onto fire escape area.

Recently spent one night at St Judes with my wife. The hotel is in a great location, plenty of nice bars to sample on Bath street! The room itself was quite small but the decor was very nice and perfectly clean, bed was massive and very comfortable :) The staff were always very pleasant and even brought 2 glasses of champagne to our room after finding out we just got married which was a very nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

one of the best hotels ive stayed at, clean room, great decor, friendly staff. Will be staying here again.

We stayed in the 2-bedroom apartment that St. Jude administrates - really lovely, just steps away, still had breakfast at the hotel itself. Staff were very friendly and served up a delicious breakfast, everything done with care.

Je poměrně neuvěřitelné, že za pokoj se společným záchodem a koupelnou, velikosti 2x3 m a bez vybavení v hostelu v Edinburgu jsem zaplatil ještě více než za "vystajlovaný" pokoj v tomto hotelu. Ochotný personál, textilní tapety............ lze jen doporučit!

Located pretty close to the city centre, within walking distance of most attractions and bus/train stations. A little bit noisy. The comfort and standard of the room gives good value for money - nothing extraordinary, but exceeds expectations price range considered . Good Wi-Fi connection.

Nice, small hotel within walking distance to shopping area and Sauchiehall Street and also to/from airport buses, Edinburgh and Glasgow. (Approx 10-15 mts to Buchanan Bus Station and 5-8 mts to Waterloo Street.) The hotel is clean, but not as newly decorated as pictures might show.

Very spacious and stylish room, welcoming us with soft music from the stereo system (which came complete with iPod dock btw). Only minus was that our room faced the street which was very much alive in the late evening. Personnel were all very service minded and friendly, always taking their time to help and chat even when occupied elsewhere. The only disappointment was that Hotels.com incorrectly claimed that the stay included a Breakfast Buffet. The at-extra-cost continental breakfast was great though.
