Rooms on the Beach Negril - نيجريل

We had a great stay at Rooms. The beds were quite firm but clean. The room was large and had a nice little balcony. Although, the rooms closer to the street had issues with motorbike noise at night. And when my husband left his shoes on a parasailing boat, the front desk staff went out of their way to track down who ran the boat and have them return our shoes to the hotel for us. That was amazing of them! The restaurant on site is limited but the few things they do serve are really good and they have great Jamaican chicken patties! Our TV had issues and we didn't find out until the rain started! However, the maintenance staff was on site within 20 minutes and had it fixed within 3 minutes!!! That was great. No substantial complaints to report! 99% great!

Stayed at Rooms for 2 weeks in December. Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were delicious every morning. My favorite things about this hotel were the location, the clean modern style rooms and the bathroom shower was big and beautiful. I would most definitely book at Rooms again

Hi, just returned from my vacation from rooms on the beach...sept 9th to sept 15th,2011,i read a lot of reviews and heard some good things and not so good things,but decided to go with them anyway....The only problem i had with this hotel was the hot water,it never was satisfactory even after speaking to management about the problem,and them moving me to another block,the problem persist ! So if you can handle getting luke warm showers,no problem man...................

The staff is very friendly and really happy to see you...Rooms is a really nice place to stay..you can't go wrong if you choose this place...Go have a ball in Jamaica now!!!

Just returned from stay number four in the last 7 months. Rooms has become our home on the beach. Like home, Rooms offers clean, modern, tastefully decorated rooms; a comfortable and private atmosphere; a friendly welcoming staff. Rooms sits in the center of the most beautiful beach on earth surrounded by a broad variety of dining, drinking and entertainment establishments. The only thing missing from our "Home" on the beach is "Mom".

the rooms were clean the grounds were clean and it was on a perfect location on the beach. there were plenty of restaurants in either direction right on the beach to eat at. It is in a great location and would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking o booking a stay here. Jerry

Hotel was clean, location was good. The staff was wonderful and friendly and very accommodating. Had a problem with not having hot water, but problem was quickly (one day later) resolved. Need to work on their "continental breakfast", it is lousy. Would recommend hotel to friends and family.

I called the hotel week before arriving to verify our reservations and to request our rooms to be together. We traveled as a family and had a total of 6 rooms (13 people totaled) for 9 days. It was noted in the system of the request but our rooms were scatted throughout the property. Granted the property isn’t big, but we had rooms for the kids, grandparents and we all wanted to be together and we were not. Then we were given rooms that faced a parking lot with cars parked right at your patio doors, therefore you can not enjoy sitting on the patio nor open your curtains to let the sunlight in without anyone looking in. Thanks to Mr. Derwin, he was able to put three of the rooms in a building 9, two rooms in building 7 and 1 room in building 2. Mr. Derwin is the best. I explained to the manager, normally when you make reservations your room is somewhat together if the rooms on the same reservations, and especially if you call ahead to request. The problem is they close buildings due to not operating in fully capacity and spread the reservations throughout the property without looking at the reservations schedule to place families together. Some of the buildings had plumbing problems no water. One night they continue to say its being worked and it was getting later and later, kids tired and ready to go to bed, finally we had to suggest giving us another room key for us to shower. Nonetheless, Negril Jamaica is our second home, we travel there 3 times a year, this is our 2 time at The Rooms on the Beach and we will return. All in all, I still give the hotel 4.5.

This hotel was very convenient to the beach but the service is awful. It doesn't met the superclubs service you expect from the owners. We complained about not having hot water for three days and finally gave in to taking cold showers. The continental breakfast is a piece of toast with jam. Would not recommend this hotel.

left 2 lbs of blue mtn coffee in rmn called back they couldn't find it. chked out @ 5am only 2 people on sight. no phone answered for 2 hours after checking out and reporting toback to hotel. continential breakfast cold cereal milk and toast, coffee. washing mashines havened worked in maybe years. evryone looking to get tips but not wanting to assist you. workers took their own tip as well without your permission when you paid for things. many rules and no fun.

Quite acceptable for a short stay, we were attending a meeting and were out most of the day. The location is excellent and the staff helpful
