Patong Beach Lodge - كاتو

This was the worst hotel we stayed in during our vacation in Thailand. Honestly, I have never stayed at a hotel like this. The hotel was run-down and very shabby. Most of the staff didn't speak English (which is fine), and this made it difficult to communicate (with our limited Thai). We were traveling as a group and reserved 1 double room and 2 rooms with 2 beds. They told us that they didn't have any more rooms with 2 beds and our 2 male friends were going to have to share the same bed if our other friends didn't switch. The shower is pretty much over the toilet and the tp gets all wet. The location is centrally located, which is nice. But overall...we were not impressed and would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Review relating to room 309. Upon initial check-in were ushered to an internal room with no windows. An old trick to fill up the non-desirable rooms first. This was refused and then settled on a room facing away from the pool. The aircon had to be left on 24/7 so as to at least remove the heat from the room. Not enough to chill the room. Bedding was stained-possibly dried blood. Liquid splashes on the walls had been left. There was a no cancellation policy on our booking so we decided to stay and put up with this hotels deficiencies.

A good hotel. Clean. Friendly staff. Excellent location - right in the heart of all the night life. Great price. Complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. Nothing fancy. You get what you pay for. For the price of the room, I was very pleased. PaTong Beach Hotel provides a clean room, a good bed, and a complimentary breakfast - an excellent overall deal.

Horrible stay. The AC didnt work, the bed was terrible, the pictures do not match the appearance, far from the beach aaaaand when my niece had a fever and I went down to the lobby at midnight to ask when the poolbar was gonna close since they were having a big party (although the sign said it closed at 8pm). The guy at the front desk apologized and said they would send the guests back to their rooms. At 4am the same guests had brought over more load friends and having a pool party, still jumping in to the pool, still playing loud music and still having a blast I yet went down to tell the front desk to tell them to please be quiet. When I saw that it was the same person I'd already talked to I told him I'd speak to the manager and check out. And I wanted a refund.The party kept on going til 6am. I spoke to the manager the next day, no refund, no better room or anything was provided or compensated so we kept our remaining two nights we'd payed for and then changed hotel.

It was overall ok but the rooms was very standard and the beds was hard as stone. The lo arkiv was good and the price was good only 5min to the beach and nightlife bur still quiet.

the AC in room is terribly out of our expectation and wish a fan instead.

Det var hårda sängar,dålig Ac,Bygge mitt i mot hotelet.Annar låg hotelet bra.

之前曾在这家酒店住过，所以这次旅行中的过渡酒店就选了在这，网站的价格很不错。酒店的位置很好，离江西冷步行大概7分钟，出来就是几家小酒吧和餐厅，觅食很容易。这次晚上入住，第二天中午退房，只住短短的几个小时，所以前台给了1层的第一间，出来就是电梯和泳池，但怀疑这间平时是员工用来临时休息的所以准备不足，进门就是很重的烟味，没放免费的水和咖啡，毛巾也没有，只有浴巾。好在只是过渡，如果常住建议要高一点的楼层，上次入住的感觉很好，一层的窗户在走廊，所以是不能开的，只能拉着窗帘啦！不过，除此之外，酒店的员工都很好，很亲切，上次住的长感觉到的。

Hotel tres bien situé, proche de la plage ainsi que de la vie nocturne. Acceuil du personnel tres moyen, la piscine n'est plus tres bien entretenue.

Hotellet ligger sentralt til i et område som er stille og rolig. Det holder grei standard for prisen å dømme og det har alle fasiliteter. Totaltsett har jeg satt en midt på tre tilfredshet pga rotet ved innsjekk. de hadde ikke bestillingen når vi kom, det tok lang tid å finne rom og når vi først fikk rommene var de mindre enn vi de vi hadde betalt for. alt løste seg til slutt men det tok lang tid. PS! Be om Pool view når dere bestiller ;)

Dette er et nedslitt hotell til overpris. Neste gang tar jeg inn på et guesthouse til en tredjedel av prisen med bedre og nyere rom. Og finner meg et svømmebasseng til et par hundre bath dagen hvis jeg ønsker meg en treningsøkt. Hoteller blir ikke bedre av at det er en byggeplass med byggearbeider vegg i vegg. Styr unna dette hotellet.

Hotellet ligger veldig bra til i forhold til stranden. Det tar ca 4 minutter å gå til stranden. Hotellet hadde et greit bassengområde, og servicen var bra. Frokosten var ikke så bra, men å spise ute er veldig billig. rundt 100thb (20kr) pr. person Rommet var greit. Rent og pent. Nous avions réservé une chambre "medium" sur Hotels.com et une fois arrivés sur place, on nous présente une chambre au fond d'un couloir Sans Fenêtre!! (vous imaginez l'odeur et le danger que ça représente pour la santé.. on nous expliquera ensuite qu'il n'en savent rien sur les différentes classes des chambres présentées sur le site! Une saleté épouvantable règne sur l'ensemble des parties de l'hotel n'épargnant pas le petit déjeuner. Le personnel est désagréable, fourbe et incompétant.

少し入り組んだところにあって わかりずらいけれど、値段を考えれば納得でした。

L'hôtel est très agréable, super décoration, personnel très sympathique et à l'écoute! Je trouve qu'il propose un bon rapport qualité prix. Le seul point négatif le petit déjeuner car il n'y a pas grand chose et lorsqu'on est français on aime avoir sa baguette et ses viennoiseries. Je recommande cet hôtel.

Rooms are nothing extraordinary, but it is cheap, the staff is nice, they do what they can to assist you. It has a pool, not a big one, but you can refresh your body after a day bathed in sweat.
