Hotel Alexander - ليمون سول جاردا

We stayed at this hotel 2 days during our trip in Italy. The location is good, it's just 2 minutes walk from the promenade, and from the boats where you can take trip to Malcesine. The room was very nice, big and clean. The bathroom was excellent. The only thing that our room actually didn't have a lake view (we booked a lake view) because of the trees. these rooms are standart if you wish to live in the higher floors then you must book superior and it's more expensive. We had a big terrase together with other rooms and with a swimming pool. It's good in april, but in summer it can be a little bit noisy. The breakfast was very good ( compared to other italian hotels). And the staff was very kind. We had a very good time there and I wish i could come there again...

We booked a standard room, which turned out to be no more than a Motel chalet in essence, it is like an offshoot of the main hotel and is in no way hotel like. There is no view of lake garda from a normal room, you have to upgrade but as the hotel was full theer was no option for this. We were not the only ones to complain regards the rooms, although in fairness the room was fine, very clean and comfy but certainly not a hotel experience. Breakfast was more erring toward sthe German market which it appears is the bulk of the guests, but this wasnt too bad and edible, oh but you do have to pay extra for an espresso on a morning, in italy, i mean the nerve of it!!! The location is really quite good, half way up the hill and a nice stroll to the old town downhill, a supermarket on the doorstep and ferry a stonesthrow away.

We spent the few dollars more for the "Superior" double room and I am glad we did. We had a view of the lake, although it was not an exceptional view. There are many double rooms that have no view of the lake and I am sure if we had not reserved the "superior" double room we would have no view of the lake. The hotel is at an exceptional location for Limone sul Garda because you are only a 10 minute walk from the beautiful shops on the beach and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. We felt lucky to be so close to the beach and the town compared to the majority of the hotels in Limone sul Garda. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The air conditioning was fair. It was not an extremely hot day so we were comfortable. You could not get the temperature below 20C. So it may be uncomfortable on a really hot day.

We stayed at Hotel Alexander for 2 nights (July 2010). The location is excellent - easy walk to town and beach. Limone is a beautiful little town with nice shops. The stay at Hotel Alexander includes a very good buffet breakfast. Plenty of different breads, rolls, pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, fruit, cereals, yogurt - you name it! Staff is very helpful and friendly and most speak very good English. Rooms are large and modern. Safe & small refrigerators are in rooms. Bathrooms are clean, spacious and also modern. The hotel has a pool, whirlpool and spa (we never used since we didn't have enough time - too busy sightseeing). It has it's own parking garage (no extra fee) which is super convenient. One negative would be that the gym (small but sufficient) closes at 7 pm. For extended stays, I would try to get a lake view room. We didn't but since we were out all day anyway, it didn't matter to us. Very energy efficient too - your room key is placed in a device that turns on your lights. When you leave the room and take the key, the lights will turn off automatically. Even the parking garage has sensors that turn on the lights as you drive into it. Nice lounge area to sit and have drinks/food in the evening. Highly recommend the Hotel Alexander.

Beautifully located and very comfortable hotel overlooking Lake Garda. What more can one say

Nice location right across the street from the beach and a large market. Good restaurant with many others nearby. A short walk to the main town area. Friendly staff. Nice pool area with hot tub and spa. We enjoyed a relaxing stay here. Very beautiful place.

Im Doppelzimmer sind die Betten nur lose aneinandergeschoben, was wir als nicht angenehm empfanden, zumal sich die Betten bei der kleinsten Bewegung "verselbständigen". Frühstück nur bis 10:00 ist eindeutig zu kurz, ebenso das Auschecken um 10:00 ist in meinen Augen mehr Nepp und dieses Hotels unwürdig. Das Restaurant hat - zumindest im Herbst und damit nur Innenbetrieb - absolut keinen Charme, mehr eine Halle. Sonst alles aber ok und modern.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Hotel Alexander ,von unserem Balkon direkter Blick auf den See,die Sauberkeit des Hotels 1a ,das einzige was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat , war das Frühstück , Instantkaffee und nur Toast wie dröge Paninis ,jeden Tag der gleiche Käse wie Wurst ,da hätten wir uns schon etwas mehr Auswahl gewünscht. Etwas unglücklich ist der Fitnessraum der im unteren Teil des Hauses und im Teilbereich des Restaurants gelegen ist , die Auswahl der Geräte mager ,ebenso die eingeschränkte Zeit in der man die Sauna und den Fitnessraum nutzen kann. Das Restaurant in diesem Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert ,hervorragende Zubereitung des Rinderfilets und geniale Pizzen ,und freundliches Personal ,sollten wir wieder an den Gardasee fahren würden wir wieder dieses Hotel wählen ,es fehlte nur im Rezeptionsbereich an persönlicher Note , tägliche aufmerksame Begrüßung hätten den Aufenthalt abgerundet,

Ich fühle mich schon etwas verschaukelt, wenn ich für 5 Tage Aufenthalt ZF für 2 Pers.knapp das doppelte bezahle als Lidel Reisen zur gleichen Zeit für 4 Tage HP berechnet!! Zudem wurde das Hotel gemäss ihren Angaben als Wellness Hotel angegeben - kleinste Räumlichkeiten, welche eher an einen Keller erinnern! Matratzen in den Zimmern lassen ebenfalls zu wünschen übrig!

Das Hotel liegt zwar direkt an der Durchgangsstraße Richtung Zentrum, dennoch keine Lärmbelästigung. Unser Zimmer lag ca. 2 m vor dem Pool, sodaß wir durch "Frühschwimmer" meist geweckt wurden. Zimmer hatte keinen Balkon, Sitzmöglichkeit war vor dem Zimmer zwar vorhanden, jedoch sitzt man auch hier direkt am Pool. Bei diesen Zimmern hat man auch keine Sicht auf den Gardasee. Wer das möchte, sollte bei der Buchung darauf aufmerksam machen. Frühstück könnte abwechslungsreicher sein, jedoch für italienische Verhältnisse gut.

Hotel Alexander udmærker sig ved at det er et lille cityhotel. Yderst hjælpsom og serviceminded personale med lyst til gæster. Værelserne er ikke store, men velfungerende og trods den perfekte beliggenhed er der ikke larm fra gaden, da hotellet ligger i en sidegade. Anbefalelses værdigt til par, mindre anbefalelsesværdigt til familier med små børn

The hotel is fine, but all the rooms do not have a see view!! Although they say so on the web! You'd better call the hotel marketing in order to guarantee the view beforehand!

Het hotel is vrij nieuw en goed onderhouden.Het is netjes en schoon en de superieur-kamers zijn groot. Het ontbijt is matig.Het enige echt negatieve punt is dat de airco niet gebruikt mocht worden.Bij navraag bij de receptie bleek dat de airco pas gebruikt zou mogen worden op 21 Juni.(beleid van het hotel).Dit zou pas over drie weken zijn.Dit is dus belachelijk omdat het s'nachts niet te harden was van de hitte.Dus dan de schuifpui maar open maar dan kun bijna niet slapen van de herrie. Het hotel ligt namelijk aan de weg.

das Bad ist leider gleich direkt im Zimmer integriert, und somit nicht durch eine Tür abgetrennt. Einzig und allein das WC ist durch eine Tür vom restlichen Zimmer abgetrennt. Uns hat das allerdings nicht wirklich gestört. Ansonsten war es wirklich ein sehr sauberes Hotel, mit tollem Ausblick auf den See. Außerdem bietet das Hotel eine eigene (kostenlose) Tiefgarage, was ich sehr geschätzt habe.

Gut gelegenes Hotel mit guter Ausstattung. Dusche und Waschgelegenheit im Zimmer gewöhnungsbedürftig. Servicekräfte bemüht, bei Vollbelegung wahrscheinlich gefordert.

cortesia, cordialità da parte del personale ma soprattutto del gestore, rendono questo hotel singolare ed accogliente, le camere molto spaziose e ben arredate, i vari tipi di sauna, e le piscine con sauna a disposizione dei clienti lo rendono veramente completo.

Hyvä sijainti, pääsy rantaan hotellin edestä, suolahuone ja sauna ehdottomasti plussaa. Hyvä info-tiski, jossa bussiaikatauluja ja esitteitä mielenkiintoisista kohteista.

A very nice hotel, with all you could expect and more. The hotel and staff were very nice and helpful. Shame that our very first experience, when we checked in, was spoiled by the temp who wasn't helpful or nice at all. Apart from that our stay at the hotel was very good, I would recommend this hotel to any family travelling with or withut children.

Hotel is vlakbij Gardameer, weggetje oversteken en je bent er. Heerlijk hotel om paar dagen te relaxen. Wij hebben hier 6 dagen gezeten en genoten. We hadden een grote, nette kamer (gekozen voor superior). Ontbijt was prima en ook voor lunch/avondeten kan je goed terecht in restaurant bij het hotel. Of je loopt 's avonds even het stadje in. Zwembad helaas niet verwarmd, maar is nog steeds warmer dan het Gardameer. Heerlijk terrasje bij kamer. We hadden 1 dag slecht weer, maar dan is het leuk om een uitstapje te maken naar Verona. Hotel is zeker een aanrader!

Obwohl wir ein Standard-Zimmer gebucht hatten, bekamen wir automatisch ein Superior-Zimmer mit Seeblick. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und sehr gut eingerichtet. Die Pool-Anlage hat uns nicht so gut gefallen, aber da der Strand (für uns einer der schönsten am Gardasee) nur zwei Minuten entfernt ist, haben wir uns dort aufgehalten. Das Frühstück, daß oft bemängelt wird, ist halt typisch italienisch. Man bekommt aber, wenn man fragt, alles, was man möchte.

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön direkt am Gardasee und ist auch sehr schön. Da aber sehr viel Rentner ihren Urlaub dort verbrachten, fühlten wir uns als Familie mit 2 Kindern ein bisschen fehl am Platz. Ein bisschen enttäuscht waren wir vom Wellnessbereich. Wir hatten für eine Zwischenübernachtung auf dem langen Heimweg, extra dieses Hotel bebucht, damit die Kinder Spass hätten im Pool. Der Aussenpool war aber unbeheizt und für die noch eher kalte Aprilzeit nicht zu nutzen. Whirlpool und Sauna im Innenbereich waren für die Kinder dann natürlich auch nicht der Hit. Würde dieses Hotel ruhesuchenden älteren Leuten empfehlen, aber für uns war es für eine Nacht auch in Ordnung.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Lage war optimal, da sich das Hotel unmittelbar am See befindet und nur ca. fünf Minuten bis ins wunderschöne Städtchen Limone sul Garda zu gehen sind. Im Restaurant, das sich direkt im Haus befindet, kann man hervorragend essen. Einzig der Frühstückskaffee war eine Enttäuschung. Nescaffee hat nichts verloren im Land des Esspressos.

Abbiamo trascorso 3 gg in completo relax. Camere silenziose e molto pulite....un po' strano aprire la porta e vedere la doccia in camera di fianco al lavandino :-). Condizionatore un po' troppo alto....ma va a gusti!!!Panorama del lago di fronte splendido. Accoglienza rapida e gentile. Piscina un po' fredda li per li,ma pulita ed in ordine.....la Jacuzzi merita alla grande. Parcheggio sotto all'hotel comodissimo...centro a 2 minuti a piedi. Un po' così i gestori del ristorante a fianco dove si fà colazione al mattino (molto abbondante)....un sorriso in piu' non avrebbe fatto male.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön das Superior ZImmer riesengroß eher ein Ballsaal Die Betten waren sehr bequem die Klimaanlage läuft leise und vor allem auch wenn die Keycard nicht steckt also auch wenn man nicht im Zimmer ist Am Pool geht es ruhig zu mit Blick auf See und Berge Es sind nur zweihundert m zur Promenade Einzig das Frühstück eben typisch für Italien ist nicht sehr üppig Größter Kritikpunkt hier es gibt keinen richtigen Kaffee nur sogenannten Muckefuck Wir würden trotzdem jederzeit wiederkommen
